As Yamato suspected, other heroes also started arriving at the scene, which was understandable considering the emergency broadcast. He stayed aside and observed as some of them started to predictably squabble among themselves, taking particular notice to the man in a gas mask and the dragon lady. For a brief moment he thought about intervening to defend the dragoness, but she seemed to take care of herself well enough in that regard. San-D squeaked from inside his scarf, and Yamato nodded; he saw with his Evil Eye that the bones had faint traces of magic to them, but not enough to pose a credible threat to the city. Whatever danger there was lurked inside the castle.

Yamato nodded in response to the words of the red vigilante who just arrived. Undead constructs, while fearsome due to their immortality, always needed a source of magic to keep them revived. He was about to respond to him when he felt how someone attempted to infiltrate his mind through magic, and tensed up; his Evil Eye glowed bright red as it prevented the spell from reaching him. However, he recognized the spell's magic signature, and let the message play out. As he assumed, it was the Master Of Business Administration, a hero of surprising power who has the talent to unite the heroes towards a common cause. He has fought with him in the past, and had respect for the unassuming man's skill in the use of magic. He accepted the call, knowing the synergy the two shared between their powers; the forbidden knowledge granted by his secret-unveiling sight would prove valuable when shared to others through a telepathic network.

Yamato's hamsters suddenly started squeaking more, and he wondered what caused their uproar when his eyes landed on the heroine known as Domino, who turned up at the scene riding her automobile. She was also one of the people Yamato has worked with in the past, and so his expression developed a smirk as she hopped out, as full of life as ever. "Greetings, Melodious Maiden. It has been far too long since we have last seen, indeed." When she turned around to look at something, Yamato focused on the source of the disturbance with his cursed pupil, and also saw the pirate ship. Not only that, he caught a glimpse of the man who commandeered the ancient vessel-turned modern battering ram. "Captain Pierrot..." He slowly worded out as he clenched his teeth and balled up his fist. He then ran to Domino's car and hopped inside. "We must make haste, oh Siren of Songs, for the brutish buccaneers will surely break other buildings and bludgeon any civilians in them." It was then that the magic in the mound of bones finally awakened and the half-skeleotons began their assault. He trusted the heroes present including the White Knight to handle them. "Leave these deathly remains to be buried by sword and sorcery, and let us move on to Pierrot's perilous pirates; these marauders will find that the sea they sail on is not a calm one, but blown by a storm of retribution!"

Thrust, slash, drop the shoulder and counter... Danielle was in her element now, and it showed. The snakemen were proving to be easy pickings to a point, but there were just so damn many of them. She needed to clear herself some space, and she needed to do it fast.

She took a couple of quick steps back and put her hands in front of her chest, feeling the magical energy roiling in her palms. Taking care to avoid any collateral damage, she cried out "Flame Cannon!" A blast of mystical heat shot forth and fried every serpent for fifteen feet in front of her as she swept her blast in an arc. She looked at the other hero, who seemed to be having just as easy a time of it, and called out, "See, I can avoid setting stuff on fire if it's not necessary!"

The White Knight

More heroes appeared, answering the call. He recognized some of them yet others he saw for the first time. The heroine Domino he had met just once before, the young man with the gas mask and amber eyes was a stranger and looked more like villain than a hero as did Yamato, yet he knew not to judge by appearance…or choice in language. The young girl known as Crimson Dragon he witnessed before yet never actually interacted with her, as far as he knew she had considerable power at her disposal yet her attitude reflected her age and inexperience which may prove a problem, particularly in control. Just as the young amber-eyed man stated previously, with her around, collateral damage was nigh-on impossible to avoid. While the Crimson Dragon and the young man appeared to have an argument, he simply took a deep breath and concentrated for a moment, extending his sensory KI detection to a wide area around the mountain of bones. It was quite a relief to know that the vast majority of the civilians have evacuated the area, which meant that collateral damage would not endanger innocent lives. Still, it would most probably be preferable if it were avoided.

Just as he finished with his detection, he felt an outside influence trying to affect his mind. Naturally, the attempt would end in failure yet he had a suspicion on the source so he allowed this one to momentarily slip through his mental barrier. As he suspected, it was a mental message from the so-called ‘Master of Business Administration’, a spellcaster with a peculiar style of magic. The message related to the fact that they should work together and that a telepathic link can be formed between them for better coordination. A good idea, yet he was not particularly inclined to the thought of others having free access to his mind. He replied with a mental message, grateful that his actual voice remained unheard, telling the MBA that he should coordinate with the other heroes and that he will be fine and working alongside them yet keep the privacy of his thoughts to himself. If another message was sent, he would not receive it as the mental barriers were now reinforced, preventing any influence on his mind, be them magical or telepathic in nature. A loud crashing noise caught everyone’s attention. In the distance one could see a tall building being almost instantly demolished by what appeared to be a flying war-galleon. Another disaster taking place that required the attention of heroes, forcing them to splint in two teams. Yamato offered to go alongside Domino to pursue the flying ship while Crimson Dragon and the amber-eyed man attacked the newly awaken skeletal monsters that rose from the bone mound. A group of 3 of these skeletal warriors also charged at him, swinging their jagged blades and lunging forward. He simply stood there and placed his hand on the handle of his weapon, prepared to draw it, yet not moving an inch away from their trajectory.

The skeletal serpents landed a successful series of attack on the white-clad hero, or so it seemed at first. Their weapons simply passed through him as his form started to simply vanish in thin air, an afterimage caused by a sudden burst of great speed. In the next instant he appeared behind the serpents in mid-air, his sword drawn and held with both hands horizontally in an arc, the blade glistening in the sunlight. One swing of the large sword caught all 3 of these creatures, reducing them into piles of broken bones from which they originally rose, letting himself be carried by the momentum of the swing, performing a twirl in mid-air before gracefully landing back to his initial position. Another pair of these creatures charged at him, only to be met with the same fate as one was cut in half by a horizontal swing of his sword which was then followed fluidly by a high-kick which shattered the second attacker’s upper-body into dust, their ethereal armor and weapons proving to be futile against the White Knight.

After the bothersome attackers were dispatched, a new hero made his presence know. This one was called the Common Rider, a young man with great ambition who basked in the admiration of others, if her recalled correctly. He contemplated for a moment on their present situation and then approached the Common Rider, placing his hand on his shoulder and indicating to the vehicle in which Domino and Yamato were seated. Other heroes were no doubt on their way to one of these two disasters but for now it only made sense that they split into two teams of 3. Domino, Yamato and Common Rider would pursue the flying vessel while Crimson Dragon, her ‘friend’ and himself would take care of the mountain of bones and its master atop the castle. He gave a reassuring nod to them before he proceeded to charge at the remaining skeletal monstrosities, dispatching them with a display of skill. The skeletons were being felled by crimson flame, amber lightning and shining blade, none of them posing any threat to the heroes yet their numbers did not appear to diminish. For every one that fell, two more seemed to rise from the colossal mound to take its place. The Crimson Dragon unleashed a blast of roaring flames that decimated a large number of them, bragging to the amber-eyed young man in the process. She had the right idea, he judged and then leapt high in the air, landing on the mound of bones and eliminating another one of the skeletons.

He once again took a deep breath and cleared his mind, adopting a typical kendo stance and raising his large sword upwards. The focused flow of KI manifested itself visibly in the form of a current of semi-transparent blue energy, swirling around him and flowing to and around the length of the Ookami-ken’s blade. With a single forward slash he unleashed the stored energy in a shockwave in front of him, decimating any of the skeletons caught in its wake and carving a clear path between his current position at the base of the mountain of bones and the general area where the other heroes were located. He indicated with his large blade towards the castle to the two young heroes, knowing that the wave of skeletal monstrosities wouldn’t end and that they had to focus their efforts on their master. However, one of them had to stay behind and contend with these monstrosities, making sure that they won’t be followed or worse, that the skeletons wont go causing havoc through the district of the city. With a nod towards the Crimson Dragon and her ‘friend’, he offered himself to take care of the non-ending wave of skeletal monsters while the two would charge towards the castle and ‘cut the serpent’s head’, so to speak. He was unsure of what threat they could face up there yet he was confident that the two often could probably take care of it, if they worked together, that is. He created an opening for them with his Ten no Ikari, clearing a path and allowing them to charge towards the castle. With a high jump, he performed a somersault and followed the landing with a circular horizontal slash, decimating another small group of serpentine skeletons who had just risen. He was now in an area between the two heroes, ready to engage the incoming new weaves of enemies and provide cover for the them, allowing them to eventually reach the castle but they had to hurry if they wanted to get there in proper time.

Makuu Space #619

The cells of block C. Reserved for nonviolent offenders with sentences longer than 3,000 years. One of the prison's guards, Boulderdash, was escorting Warden Lonesome down to the surprisingly well-lit depths. However, this wasn't really necessary- the worst offender on the block was only in for election fraud and surrendered peacefully. But the law was the law, and a Makuu Warden needed at least one officer along for backup. The cells up here were still fairly nice, even if the surroundings were dreary- good lighting, and plenty of space. Too much space, in fact- the only reason the cells were so far apart was the weirdness inherent in a Makuu Space. They came upon a heavy door, which slid down. Light shined before them as the warden and his escort stepped through...

...into a lovely foyer with a piping teapot and an insectoid alien opposite the table. Inmates were allowed to bring back whatever they could scrounge from The Yard, and this particular inmate made a killing trading for his stolen goods. The warden placed a wanted poster on the table. Yellow chitinous plates, wide hooked feet, enormous red compound eyes, and wiggling antennae. Though the bowtie, cufflinks, and top hat were missing, it was obviously the prisoner. The warden took off his pauldrons and placed them on a coatrack. As the prisoner poured the warden and guard tea. Apparently the prisoner stole this beverage back in 1860, when he acquired the crown jewels of one of the Earth governments, hidden in a large stone fortification.

"Prisoner 0020038GTF. Arrested in the Kidd sector for 2 billion counts of theft, 2 billion nine-hundred and ninety-nine counts of breaking and entering, and 1 count of planetary vandalism. Other charges stand unproved. Sentenced to forty-thousand years in Makuu Space as a nonviolent offender. Somehow, you still have new furniture between visits."

"What can I say, sir? I'm a bug of singular pursuits."

The warden took a long drink from the tea before crossing his arms.

"I'm not questioning it. We can't prove you're breaking out to steal anything. You earned that title of yours. But that's not what we're here to discuss today. It's been approximately 200 years since your last stint in the yard."

“Hm? I haven't kept track.”

“I'm sure. Just remember, you're free to do whatever, but no violence against anything but the wildlife. Got it?”

With that, the warden stood and replaced his pauldrons. Boulderdash followed, the doors closing behind them. The strange insect made his way over to the hat rack. Retrieving his hat and large bowtie, he made his way to the mirror.

"Hmph. Violence? Why, I have no need for violence."

Adjusting his clothes, he reached over to an elephant's foot umbrella stand. He retrieved his spiked cane.

"After all, theft is all about aesthetics!"

With a skip and a jump, he was out his door and heading to the teleporter pad.

"It is requires style! Coolness! Nobility!"

He spun on his heel, tilting his hat and stopping with the cane. With a long whine of alien machinery, he vanished.

"STEALING TOMORROW! THE PHANTOM THIEF, CRICKET LUPIN!"

"Attention all civilians. Please go to the nearest shelter. Attention all heroes. Please head to the border of D, B, and E-Districts and head towards the, uh, giant mound of bones. The threat level is: Big-Big City Threat. Man, we rea-

That explained the emergency sirens blaring outside, muffled by the thick walls of the pitch black room. The sound echoed throughout the large emptiness, reverberating against the scattered outlines of objects lying around the place, and the cold, cold walls; the only hint of an organic presence was a calm, albeit odd breathing muffled by a mask. A pair of eyes, concealed by a visor-less mask, followed the headlines and live transmissions over the disastrous event taking place at the key joint of three major districts. A giant serpent, skeletons, a castle, one could find this composition was a very random, if not silly one; but when innocent lives are put in danger by the most random event, it would be taken very seriously by the authorities, and immediately dispatch all heroes that could join the effort. He had observed this city's security protocols in such events, the pattern was obvious enough to him; but the scale of this particular disaster seemed to have called quite a number of heroes to join in the fray, significantly lowering security over the other sectors. A perfect opportunity for more subtle entities to strike out without having to deal with the bothersome league of crime-fighters. No doubt many other villains sought such an opportunity to move in and obtain what ever they wished, RED was no different. What he wanted, though, was to leave an insidious imprint on the populace. Knowing that many would suffer debilitating injuries after this disaster, they would be rushed off to hospitals, some with missing limbs, others with burns, many with lacerations, broken bones, concussions, or worse. There was a sweet time frame between the inception of the calamity and the sudden intake of patients, and it was approaching. He had to act.

A soft material touched the ground in two steps, but then, there was silence again; a dim light revealed the high-roofed metal box of a room being decorated with various weapons, from firearms to medieval maces, from baseball bats to portable missile launchers. Crates lined up the walls, bearing several patches asking for caution when handling the fragile and rather toxic contents; one of them was opened by a pair of metallic hands covered in a very fine material that seemed to dampen the clinketing sound of artificial knuckles, revealing rows upon rows of auto-injecting syringes containing a clear fluid rippling at the echo of the room. One syringe was plucked from its slot and quickly rammed in a port above his collarbone, the liquid instantly shot inside his circulatory system after a hydraulic pump hissed lightly. Another hiss followed as a muffled, digital sigh of relief escaped from the raw throat of the lean-framed humanoid. The soft texture of his suit seemed to absorb light rather than reflecting it, gaps between articulating points showed off an intricate muscle pattern lining the layer beneath the armor padding. The helmet, composed of three interlocking pieces, had only one central slit in the shape of a vertical eye that seemed to give off a feint shade of dark red, but obviously, it wasn't the keyhole the wearer was looking through; there were multiple cameras lined through the helmet offering him a wide field of view of his damp surroundings. But the corners and peripherals were covered with multiple windows that kept him up to date with the downtown disaster, where the situation was slowly escalating.

Then, he saw a white silhouette jump and do a front flip in mid air. He quickly identified the white mane, the over-sized sword, the towering height of the individual; the rest of the heroes that bunched up there didn't matter to him any more, but the one known as White Knight was the center of focus for him. RED's breaths had grown deeper, every exhale and inhale forcing air in and out of his lungs. He could feel the urge to clench his fist and break the empty vial in his hand, he wanted to slam his hands and feet into anything that would break at his rage; yet, his body remained still, the only hint of his rising anger was the heavy breathing.

"So... you are here too." He uttered to no one in particular, his baritone voice heavily modified in an even lower key. "How fitting. How pathetic."

There was no more doubt in his mind. The main health center of District B had to be hit, even if he had to go in broad daylight; he didn't worry though, as he had his ways to access it without walking through any of the doors. He initialized a cracking attempt on the main servers of the architecture company who had the blueprints for the medical center, it was only a matter of time until he had the key to his infiltration route. Maybe his plan wasn't just as flashy as a castle and an apocalyptic snake erupting from the core of the planet, but the impact would definitely be felt.

Masako Mizushima

Finally arriving near the giant pile of bones, Masako came across the eleven or so heroes that had also gathered to defeat this ferocious foe. She'd seen five or six of them in action before, and about two or three she had actually fought alongside with in the past: There was this hero with the dragon wings and that one with the little critters in his scarf; there was the muscleman hero that put Masako's supposed skyscraper height to shame, the one with an even crisper suit than hers and that other one with eyes so bright and yellow she could just gouge them out if the headlights on her delivery van ever broke. However, despite having a rather fuzzy memory, Masako remembered the man with the lampost eyes was not to be trifled with. In fact, he was already down there slashing at the moving bones.

Wait… Moving bones? Did she seemed that right?

Atop the slightly wrecked building she stood on, Masako gazed down at the slithering army of humanoid snake bones below. Sure, they looked like they were ready to beat the living crap out of anything that crossed their path, but moving at a snail pacing didn't really help up their scare factor. Heck, the little dragon girl was already singeing the heads off the skeletons like a walk in the park.

So… What to do?

As if on queue, a man's voice echoed in Masako's head. His voice seemed to go faster than her ears could follow, and by the time he had finished resounding his telepathic message, the only word she had managed to pick up and fully understand was 'meeting'. Unfortunately, the woman's range of vocabulary wasn't exactly big. It was pretty ironic as well, seeing as she was fucking up enemies under the name of 'Principal'; you would think the not-so-little Masako was on the smarter side with a name like that.

Look, I'm not up for all this complicated wording and stuff, so… I dunno, at least ask in a language I–we can understand. If it's a team attack you were asking for though, I'll go beat up some snake skeleton things to clear the area a little if that's all right. Whatever team you've got, at least you'll be able to get through to that big ass castle a little quicker.

She had no clue whether she could respond to this man's message through her thoughts, but it was worth a try. Masako hopped down the ledges of the building and onto the ruptured road, pushing her glasses above the ridge of her nose. The skeletal beings crawled closer, edging towards the suited woman.

"The ground looks kinda fucked up already… Well, let's just hope I don't get fined for this."

Raising her leg in the air Masako swung it down, striking the ground with one mighty kick. The impact would send some of the snake-like creatures a few metres away, while some sort of crumbled into the ten metre wide crater she had created. Heeled shoes unscathed, Masako would proceed to wipe the rest of the incoming skeletons with her ferocious kicks. Each one would shatter into bony pieces as her kicks landed with success, with simple kicks to the chest obliterating their structure completely.

Then, out of nowhere, a fireball burnt the rest of the skeleton's in the woman's path, almost bringing Masako down with them. If she hadn't barrel rolled out of the way quick enough then her hair would start smelling like a burnt, black dumpling.

"See, I can avoid setting stuff on fire if it's not necessary!"

"Well, how 'bout not setting fire to someone who's on the same side as you if it ain't necessary? Those flames of yours are gonna end up frying me before we even reach the gate of that big ol' castle!"

Extending her tie into a long, dark red whip, Masako swung it to sweep the snake/human skeleton things to the side. As long as there was a clear path to this castle then the other heroes (Masako included) wouldn't have any trouble trying to fight through the massive army of magically constructed bones.

But it was what lay ahead of these rising bones that would make Masako's blood rush throughout her body like wildfire.

The universe is filled with a lot of 'stuff,' far too much of it to adequately describe in any meaningful length of time. It is for exactly this reason that we will not be focusing on the universe in general, and will instead be focusing on only a comparatively small part of it. In particular, a rather unremarkable collection of stars in a decidedly adequate galaxy. By celestial standards, they were the textbook definition of dull, average, and overall uninteresting. However, something miraculous was happening on a generic little planet in a generic little yellow star system. Planet Earth. At this very moment, the stars have aligned to form an ancient symbol, sacred to the few wretched creatures that understood it.

This was a momentous occasion, for not only would it not happen again for ages to come, it also heralded something greater. A call to what lay below, a call to an ancient force, beckoning it to come forth and fulfill its purpose.

Megatropolis, in the sky, to be precise

It was a cloudless day in the city, allowing the pure blue sky to display its full beauty to the inhabitants. Except for the people in E-district. They were much too busy committing crime and/or being poor to notice. Which was a shame, as that only served to limit his audience. If you're wondering who he is, dear reader, worry not. You will know in just a moment.

Responding to an as of yet unseen cue, a chorus of voices made themselves heard throughout the entire city, chanting unintelligibly. As it went on, the voices increased in volume, slowly culminating in a mighty crescendo before stopping suddenly. Immediately afterwards, a portion of the sky was filled with an explosive burst of flame, proceeded by a humanoid figure falling from the sky. Descending at an angle, the individual quickly found solid 'ground' in the form of a nearby skyscraper, touching down on the super-structure's side with his knees.

While one might think slamming into the side of a building knee-first would lead to serious injuries, or at the very least, damage to the building; neither of those things occurred. Rather, the figure seemed to be sliding down it, and gaining speed as they went. Not only that, but the building was inexplicably catching on fire behind him. This continued for a time, only for the figure to grind to a halt moments before striking the ground. Planting his feet on the surface most commonly used by the gravitationally inclined, the individual's appearance was now much easier to discern.

Humanoid, decidedly masculine in physique, a tattered black coat resembling that of a Protestant reverend, a white undershirt, and black pants. All in all, hardly out of the ordinary, save for a few small things. For you see, dear reader, this man appeared to be a skeleton; quite a spooky one, at that. Furthermore, his eye sockets were covered by a blindfold, and upon his head were a pair of downward-pointing horns. The skeleton also possessed a sizable and bizarrely shaped electric guitar, linked to his horns by a pair of iron chains. If one were to describe the being in a single sentence, 'Metal Album Cover Art' would be more than sufficient. Once he'd finished brushing off a bit of stray dust, the figure began speaking, or more accurately, shouting at the top of their lungs.

"GOOD MORNING MEGATROPOLIS! YOU CAN CALL ME MURRAY, AND I'VE GOT ONE QUESTION FOR YOU ALL! ARE YOU READY..." The figure stopped mid-sentence, and took a moment to survey his surroundings.

"Alright, what the hell is this? I was told there'd be an audience waiting for the opening concert. Did Beelzeboss give me the wrong address again?! Hey, you, with the costumes and shit," Murray addressed the gathering of heroes near the castle, "Is this Megatropolis? I got a gig there and I'm not sure where they wanted me."

Oliver Freeman

With a splat Oliver dumped his bag full of fish and his gear on the front porch outside his house. He could already smell the frying and spicing of meals going on within as the aroma wafted from the open window to the kitchen and he sniffed hungrily, holding back the urge to lick at his lips like a stray dog outside the butcher's.

The Iron Halo hummed softly, rotating slowly as ever.

From inside the house came a shrill voice, rising above the sounds of culinary magic and the clanking of cutlery to break Oliver from his trance.

"OIlie! Is that you? Are you back from the river already?"

Oliver sighed and rubbed at his face. His eyes scanned the landscape beyond the porch to find the newly risen tower and castle of bones not far from his street. His mother shrieked at him as if there WASN'T a terrible skeletal tower just a couple of blocks away.

"Did you catch anything? Don't bother coming in if you didn't catch anything!"

"Mamaaaaa," Oliver groaned, "Can you see the huge skele-tower or did you forget to open a window and fog up the windows again?"

There was a pause before the shriek came back louder. Boomingly loud. "Boy, you had best not be sassing me after all I've done for you!"

There she went. Off on another tirade about how she raised, clothed and fed him. If it didn't happen at least thrice a week, then he would have really been worried. "But Ma," He shouted back in the house, eyes fixed at the pile of bones and the... single snakelike skeleton slowly slithering down his street, "There are literally snakeman-skeletons in the street!" How did it get out this far? Was it lost? It didn't look friendly, by any means.

"Well boy," His mother replied, sending another clatter of pots and pans resonating out from the kitchen, "You'd best get out on that street and make sure they don't come dirty up my lawn! Or else there'll be hell to pay!"

"But Ma!"

"I don't hear bones rattling!"

Oliver's mother was a woman who was not often surprised by the more supernatural goings on of Megatropolis. She'd been living here too long to be fazed at this point. Oliver made sure his backpack and gear were secure before shedding his jacket and stepping into the street to meet the slithering skelesnakeman. The Iron Halo ceased turning at his back, as if waiting. With a clearing of his throat, Oliver caught the snakeman's attention and waved.

"Uh, hi. Listen, my Ma would really appreciate if you stayed off the grass and-"

The snake took the opportunity to leap at him. Oliver could only sigh as the Iron Halo began to spin wildly and screech before he swept his arm forward and it was sent careening toward the snakeman, sawing the poor undead thing clean in twain like a floating saw blade. The bones clattered to the floor, and Oliver retracted the Halo with a look back at the house. No point going home now, with his mother all steamed up as she was. He shuffled his hands into this pockets and took off slowly down the street, looking more tired than determined to save the day. Might as well check out this whole bonepile situation.

And hey, it looked like some heroes were already on the scene so how bad could it be?

Another girl yelled at Danielle to watch out for friendlies. "Honestly didn't see you there. My apologies." She blocked an incoming blade, melting it at the hilt. It left her foe unarmed, and she easily dispatched him. Then, another person descended on this whole fiasco, and while Danielle couldn't tell whether or not he was an enemy, she could definitely tell he was over the top. This guy's not just a ham, he's the whole goddamn pig farm! "If you're here to start trouble, don't. If you're here to stop it, then get down here and lend us a hand!"

She was almost at the castle gate now, another minute or two and she'd be there. Hopefully, she could melt it down with some of her lesser attacks; she didn't want to use Wrath of the Dragons and exhaust herself unless she absolutely had to.

Interacting with: Anyone within earshot.

Levi bit himself, he hadn't noticed the presence of these 'heroes', even though he knew they would swarm to this location, yet he didn't notice. He noted that we was getting dull and more, stricter, training was inbound after this whole ordeal. He thinks these thoughts to himself whilst cutting down a never ending army of skeletal snakemen. They seem to just rise as soon as they fall, and come back in numbers. Though this wasn't much, Levi didn't tire easily.

The Dragoness who now shouted at how she's barely avoiding collateral damage. Though it annoyed him to no end that he engaged with the frivolous acts of these 'heroes,' He'd rather be elsewhere, but his sister had taught him to help people, and in honour of her memory, he does so. He also unconscionably noted that it wouldn't be possible for him to have done this alone, well atleast without destroying a large portion of this city, which he'd opt not to.

"Watch the buildings, Dragoness. You're scarcely avoiding destroying them." he said, with no ill-intent, yet sounded extremely like so. One of the heroes presence he missed was the 'White Knight,' who was even more elusive that he. Of course Levi had known him, who didn't, but still, Levi strangely believed that most- if not all the heroes present here had their own personal agenda/objective.

A message wrung inside his mind, he twitched his eyes. He did not like the idea of people invading his personal thoughts. Some person who dubbed himself as the 'Master of Business Administration' who had the ability to telepathically link each other's minds and thoughts. In practice, it was the best idea to be able to cooperate and talk to each other, but Levi opted not to. He didn't even leave a message and forcibly cut himself out of the link through sheer will. Though Levi would still, begrudgingly, cooperate with them.

Many other self-proclaimed 'heroes' started making their presence known. Some Levi knew, but most he didn't because he really couldn't care. Yamato, the Common Rider. Domino, the Principal. Now that Levi thought about it, their names were odd. Of course, many people didn't even known Levi, much to his preference.

Several snakemen slithered his way to Levi, he flicked his eyes from the heroes and towards them. Yellow lightning began to crackle from his body, and whilst charging his hand with lightning, "Lightning's indignation." he said, his amber eyes staring directly at the crowd of snakemen. He promptly slammed his right hand into the ground, the ground splintered off and the lightning traveled at a frightening speed towards the snakemen. They puffed into a huff of some and dust. Of course, the move did a little to damage the ground it was used on, but Levi held a considerable amount back in an attempt mitigate the damage done. He clicked his tongue looking down at the damaged floor, he still needs more training to control his powers.

The White Knight had intended for a plan, with his rather unseemly weapon he pointed towards the bony castle. Levi immidietly got his plan, and obviously, he didn't like being ordered around by anybody. "I especially loathe following orders." he hissed at the prestigious Knight, effectively glaring daggers at him. "But what needs to be done, is to be done. Do not think this would be commonplace."

With a somersault he did a fancy mode, absolutely destroying a lardg group that was blocking his and the Dragoness path. A large opening was given, "Thunder's gait." he whispered to himself as lightning now began to gather aound his legs, giving him the speed that he was infamous for. He ran alongside the Dragoness, who was surprisingly speedy, of course not as fast as him as he did focus on speed.

Now, an explosion ran across the sky. A skeleton looking figure practically slid his knees across the building, leaving a fiery trail behind him. "Seriously." Levi unconsciously said, not wanting to believe his eyes.

"GOOD MORNING MEGATROPOLIS! YOU CAN CALL ME MURRAY, AND I'VE GOT ONE QUESTION FOR YOU ALL! ARE YOU READY..." the figure called out, his scream echoing across the buildings.

"Alright, what the hell is this? I was told there'd be an audience waiting for the opening concert. Did Beelzeboss give me the wrong address again?! Hey, you, with the costumes and shit. Is this Megatropolis? I got a gig here and I'm not sure where they wanted me."
the figure continued, apparently disgruntled at no audience.

Levi did not want to deal with this, first the skeletons, now the pirates, and now another skeletal man who just slid across a building, which is now on fire. He glared deeper, as if his amber eyes were looking not at him, but through him.

"Yes, you have got the wrong place." Levi said to the figure, in hopes of getting him to leave as there was too much on their plates right now, "You're three cities over."

Far away from the concerns of the smug and the edgy, Captain Pierrot was loaded to bear with ill-gotten swag. With five bottles of expensive champagne under each arm and a sack filled with expensive jewellery slung over his back, Pierrot rattled loudly with every step. With the clientèle and employees of the Akiyama Host Club in chains behind them, a squad of Lubbers cheered and cajoled their way out of the club. Once outside, both the Lubbers and their captives shimmered brightly and disappeared. Pierrot and his haul came and went shortly after.

On the top deck of The Albatross, Pierrot, the Lubber Patrol, and their haul whirled back to reality. Both Pierrot's loot and the Lubbers' captives were led belowdecks with little fuss or ceremony. There was a pregnant pause aboard The Albatross, as everyone looked to Pierrot for something to report.

"WE GOT T'PLATINUMSCHLAGER!" Pierrot roared, holding up a gleaming silver bottle. Pierrot's crew burst into wild applause, and fine stolen alcohol was passed around to all those present.

2 of 5 Black Map Pieces collected.

"SKIPPER," Pierrot called to the cheerfully-quaffing Skipper, "Bring us round to t'next piece, sharpish!"

"Next piece's out at, wossname, religious place," Skipper grumbled, "S'like a temple or summat!"
"Well, woss der priests look like?" asked a burly, piggish crewman.
"Dey's all bald an' wearin' orange clothes!"
"That could be anyone," cried a monstrously corpulent crewman. "how do we know they aren't Time Monks or Brothers of Blood?!"
A worried murmur rose up around the assembly. Captain Pierrot fired a frighteningly loud shot into the air, catching their attention.
"QUIT YER TREMBLIN', YE QUIVERIN' DOGS! Time Monks ain't been on this planet fer five-hunnert years, an' I'll be keelhauled if they came round again!"

"So," Pierrot mewled in a patronizing tone, "since yer all struck stiff by these bloody priests, we'll SPIN T' WHEEL soon as we get there!"

The Buddhist Temple of District A was a picturesque island of nature in a sea of commercial goods. The exquisite architecture of the temple's top was sullied only by the gigantic pirate ship eclipsing it. Aboard The Albatross, a wheel was spinning. A crowd of pirates chanted and cheered loudly as each peg on the wheel clacked against a novelty-sized pointer. Whichever peg it stopped at would spell a special doom for the hapless monks below.

Masako Mizushima

One kick after another, Masako was breaking bones left and right (of course, not her own bones, that would be kinda bad). She yanked off the tie around her neck and swung it with as much power as she could, watching it extend to its maximum length. One sweep was all that was needed to clear the path to the castle a bit more.

Suddenly, loud chanting hammered at Masako's eardrums, almost making her topple over from the shock. The previously clear sky was engulfed in raging flames as a figure fell from the sky, crashing onto one of the beaten up buildings in the surrounding area. Upon closer look, Masako realised something.

"Holy… shit."

Another skeleton.

This one wasn't like the others, though. It seemed to be able to stand on two feet -two feet- just fine, unlike the slithering bone structures that Masako could shatter with a simple poke. Was this another villain? Was this their king? The one who had caused this whole dilemma in the first place?

Oh, Masako wasn't going to let that go too easily.

"GOOD MORNING MEGATROPOLIS! YOU CAN CALL ME MURRAY, AND I'VE GOT ONE QUESTION FOR YOU ALL! ARE YOU READY..."

The skeletal being suddenly came to a halt, glancing at the wrecked E-District. "Alright, what the hell is this? I was told there'd be an audience waiting for the opening concert. Did Beelzeboss give me the wrong address again?! Hey, you, with the costumes and shit, is this Megatropolis? I got a gig here and I'm not sure where they wanted me."

Masako shouted her lungs out, expressing both her anger and need to be noticed by this eardrum-impaling skeleton. "There ain't no audience to perform to, dumbass! If you actually took that fucking blindfold of yours off then you would be able to see a majority of your 'audience' under shittonnes of rubble!"

The angered woman stomped her heel onto a chunk of building, loud enough for the cloaked skeleton and the rest of the heroes to hear.

"Look here, skeleton man. I don't know what you did to Megatropolis before you fell outta the sky, but it sure is looking like shit now that you've planted a goddamn castle in E-District. If you're just gonna stand there and let your bony fingers get tangled up in those guitar strings, then I'll come over and beat what's left of you to dust!"

Of course, Masako still had no idea that this bony figure had no association to this (supposedly) magically constructed castle. But, being the clichéd reckless heroine she was, jumping to conclusions was the norm. Did she care if the others were annoyed at her actions? Hell no.

Did she care about taking down this supposed enemy despite the chances of his label as a villain being her own misconception?

Hell yes.

The woman took longs strides as she sprinted towards the wrecked building, then leaping into the air to reach the skeletal rock star. Now a few metres above the building roof, Masako prepared herself to land a devastating kick onto the skeleton.

"If you're gonna decide to wreck this entire city, then you'll have to fight me head on first!"

Yes, the Principal was definitely one that you wouldn't want to piss off. Well, the fact that she got pisses off easily made it all the much harder.

"It's permanent expulsion for you, skeleton man!"
