As the collab between @Major Ursa and I is turning out to be a lot larger than either of us expected, I'm going to make a small IC to introduce my character.

Also, I may make a few more minor characters just so I can use them if my main character is stuck in something. I'll of course post them here for your approval @bluetommy2.

Fiery personalities in Dorne, definitely.

I'll post tomorrow evening if nobody else does post. Very, very long post- I won't bother with collabs apart for one, that will be for my next post, I would think.

@kingkonrad alright, sounds great.

@VoiD go ahead, that's good with me.

As a result of coldhands' continued absence, the riverlands are now open to be taken.

Done. Actually, it wasn't as long as I thought it would be, but I thought I'd just focus on the Battle of the Kingswood, as well as general stuff that happens in the battle. I will focus on the interactions in King's Landing in the aftermath in my next post.

It's funny, because actually, GoT (show) doesn't focus much on epic, epic battles. Look at half of them during the War of the Five Kings, we see the prelude, then the immediate aftermath. I think I've basically pinched bits of that, but with elements of a Battle of the Blackwater vibe in the Kingswood, where as you've seen, there's been some very, very bloody fighting among the sunset and pines.

Holy, fucking, shit. I just realized the words of House Fossoway, the Lords of Cider Hall, are "A Taste of Glory", with their sigil being a red apple, or for another branch, a green one. It's a fucking house that lives, breathes and sounds like cider.

This is why the Reach is awesome.

Well, you'll have to wait to my next post to see. The aftermath itself is a collab to be done.

@bluetommy2He can still rest in peregrines, there is no shame in it.

Ellion: ._. *comes to Garland on the back of a giant bird*
Garland: "What the--"
Ellion: *starts throwing peregrines at the young man* e_e
Garland: D:< *throws birds back at the older man*
Falcons: *accept this as their lot in life*
Alerie: *comes in, sees a falcon throwing fight* o_o "O-oh..." *leaves*

And if you want to make it gay...
Ellion: ._. *comes to Garland on the back of a giant bird*
Garland: "What the--"
Ellion: *starts throwing roosters at the young man* e_e
Garland: D:< *throws birds back at the older man*
Roosters: *are smacked at each other quite passionately*
Alerie: *comes in, sees a cock fight* o///o "O-oh...my...!" * blushes and leaves*

And nobody questions the giant falcon. The end.

Seen this before. And this, my friends, is why actually the Lannisters don't pay their debts. And why the Tyrell growth is an export-based (wine, weapons and grain) economy, that guess what, has many of those three in great demand fucking everywhere. Highgarden castle itself wouldn't have developed much, but the Rosewood (a massive, massive forest, based of non-coniferous and coniferous trees, east of Highgarden), and particularly Hightower/The Arbor would look almost like merchant republican cities, really, really flowing with trade revenue. The Tyrells didn't ever do loans, if they did (as we see Mace doing in the tail-end of S5), they're through the Iron Throne. It's been a century or two and a new set of rulers who are probably paying it back prudently in the absence of any war whatsoever, so no doubt, that has worked out well. Even the Crakehalls shouldn't have had to borrow money- in fact, actually, they could have borrowed money to the Riverlands, to restore their completely destroyed economy in the wake of the War of Five Kings...though again, could have easily been paid back.

The real question then is, what does Braavos look like? Remember, they were rich before. Now that....is some scary, scary fucking power there, considering it is likely the debt has been paid following the Targaryen restoration- new rulers, same loan, but perhaps a little more sympathetic to allow the Targaryens to begin paying back. Money can buy everything, mercenaries, loyalty, kingdoms, anything at all, for anyone who would like it.
