Arachne is written in 1st person (when she is the POV character) and I think Kalistar sometimes writes Radiance in 1st person...

What did you expect?

As for the comments of 1st person, I will stick to 3rd. My character, Rach, would likely be cussing every so many lines... so, let's not have me kicked off the rp because of her foul mouth. Two, I don't think I could ever write it well though I have been able to follow it.

So I saw the rundown of major story arcs that have occurred in my absence. I guess for the purposes of returning to Mantis, I'm mostly just wondering if Lost Haven University got nuked or anything equally as important to note.

So I saw the rundown of major story arcs that have occurred in my absence. I guess for the purposes of returning to Mantis, I'm mostly just wondering if Lost Haven University got nuked or anything equally as important to note.


I don't remember hearing about any university being nuked, parts of the city was destroyed sure, riots, demons, et cetera. I'm guessing Ded and NMS will say the same thing. So you're probably good to describe the University as you see fit. Unless there was another RPer attending as well during that mess.

I liked Gotham. Somewhat slow but it has a good feel to it. Kinda like Law and Order meets, ... Okay can't draw a second comparison.

Anyways finished Ash Vs the Evil Dead, epic series quite faithful to the source material and it was directed by the original crew. I'm just glad they didn't try to modernize anything.

Started watching DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Not bad for a first episode.

@Eddie Brock: Okay, from what I can tell (since none of my characters are based in Lost Haven), nothing have major has happened to the Lost Haven University itself. Classes were canceled for a day during the riots caused by the Cowl (which ended about a little more than a week ago in the IC) and classes probably should be canceled during the current event for the next day or so (IC time, again).

Again, NMS probably could give you a better answer because I think Lyger goes to LHU.

Edit: Also, Lyger's friend, Ronnie died. I don't know how much that would affect Mantis, assuming that is the character you are reviving.

EDIT: Thanks for the info, @Dedonus. I may fudge around with the timeline a bit, just to get Mantis up-to-speed before throwing him into the fires of everything that's happening.

First off, Eddie, welcome back, it's always good to have an original Hypester back on board. No need to worry about putting up another CS, as you were already approved for Mantis.

LHU is still standing and actually managed to sustain little if any damage during the recent events.

I also have the redesigned OP that I'll be putting up in just a little while.
