-Soren- We're not actually sure. That's the problem. We know some of the things that it's done, but they don't really establish a very useful picture of what the magic does altogether.
-Ruby- For example, it can suck all the power away from connections in the mind. It can redirect the power. It can make different parts of the mind repel each other, and it even made our minds incompatible with a friend's mind, so we were kicked right out. Practically everything we did was turned against our efforts or made null.
