Personality: Seen to all those who are lucky enough to know her as an extremely forceful and independent young woman; Erin has always been noted to be not only exceedingly intelligent, but also a relatively hard working and quite the hard-hearted individual- her time within Camp Half-Blood proving her to be quite studious whenever she feels the need to be so, and most times her blunt nature coupled with her readily relied on logic helping her to deduce and search out information that most others would have missed out on completely. Though she is also seen at times to show a vast amount of not only social conscience, but also social tenacity and then at sometimes social awkwardness (brought on my her many years of abuse); Erin's strong emphasis on logic has more times than not made her quite skeptical about accepting almost anything without being presented with any sort of rational proof or hard and physical evidence; nevertheless, as her years within the camp have passed her by and she has both seen and learnt more about the world she is apart of, and as such, she has become slightly more willing to accept things as they are, willing to also come to intuitive conclusions.
Though rarely ever showing others the quite high sense of responsibility she feels due to being a child of one of the big three, or the dreaded fear and scarring terror that she holds thanks to her past, Erin rarely ever regrets any of the choices that she has made which have led her to where it is that she stands in the present- the mostly closed-off though still only slightly free-spirited young woman usually always seen to be putting up with the those lucky enough to be considered her friends, occasionally coming across to those around her as sharp of tongue, and exceedingly quick-witted; her light cynicism and on the rare occasion, bad moods and snarky attitude oftentimes leaving her to be the voice of reason among her more impulsive of friends, to varying levels of success. Despite her seemingly anti-social and cold-hearted nature towards all of those around her, Erin does have indeed have a softer and a more compassionate side to her; her fierce loyalty towards those she both calls and considers to be her friends shining through, and more times than none showing itself when those that she is close to are in trouble, are in immediate danger, are seriously injured or are on their way to death; however she oftentimes does all that she can to keep this side of her well hidden, choosing instead to become quite vengeful and to hold grudges against those who are responsible for whatever it is that has caused her to feel that way, showing all around her that she does not forgive others easily.
Nevertheless, in spite of her straitlaced disposition, Erin is not above using coercion and threats to get just what it is that she wants; the young demigod learning from her father that she needs to be unafraid to stand up to not only her enemies, but also to those that she calls and considers to be her friends, especially when she truly believes that it is in their best interests or when she feels in her heart that they are in the wrong- however, it is shown that she can also be extremely cruel and harsh towards those that cross her, or those of whom she dislikes; her determination and focus showing that she can become absolutely relentless, the woman herself not above taking revenge on those who have wronged the people in her life- whether it be something as simple as kicking their ass on the training field or pulling them into the darkness, or something more permanent such as opening up a chasm to the Underworld or even condemning a soul to the depths of tartarus. Despite of her overly opinionated and oftentimes interfering nature; Erin in her younger years held fast to her status of being quite the sweet, shy, sensitive and caring girl, though now that she is older and has a better understanding of the world she is apart of, her sometimes abrasive attitude, masked with her many deep insecurities and her strong fear of failure, cause her most at times feel the need that she had to prove herself to both her father and all those who were around her- however this is partly because of the many people who look down upon her due to the reputation that she gained due to being a daughter of the Lord Hades himself.
Nevertheless, Erin never truly lets anyone use her past life as a means to bully or belittle her, and never had any issues when it comes to both ignoring, standing up to, and engaging any morons who dare to and are stupid enough to try and get on her nerves or bad side; despite her strong confidence in both her skills and within her abilities, she is rarely ever shown to be exceedingly arrogant or conceited; and although she is not seen in public to be as short-tempered as her friends, she is quick to get annoyed and frustrated- never once backing down from an argument, an strong attitude that would shake even Olympus, and an indescribable passion for justice, Erin does all that she can to try her best at what she does, even if nothing ever truly works out for her in the end.
Skills: Due to rarely ever being seen training with others in the camp, or socializing with her friends within the camp, not many people know what Erin's skills truly are- the young girl not completely fussed with promoting what it is that she can and cannot do.
Biography: After her birth Erin's mother worked hard to provide her only daughter with everything that she never had when she was young, juggling several jobs just to be able to make ends meet. Growing up Erin found that she never really fit in with anyone, noticing that strange things always happened around her causing her classmates to pick on & tease her. With some encouragement from her mother though, Erin pushed forward eventually making a small group of friends who, despite what they had heard, welcomed her with open arms. As she continued to grow into a beautiful young lady Erin found that the strange occurrences that had happened around her as a child became more frequent; shadowy figures watching from a far, strange behavior from other students. Her own nervousness & slight fear causing her to turn her interests into more indoor & isolated interests in life; a love of both reading & drawing consuming her time & soon she let herself become absorbed in their worlds of wonder & awe. Wishing to pursue this path further she began to keep sketch books filling the pages with drawings of the things she had thought she had seen, keeping them to herself in the fear that she would get pushed aside & rejected by those she had grown close to. Her growing thirst for knowledge & her strange sense of artwork sending those who made her life hard to continue, the small jibes about her turning into bullying as the years passed by.
Hitting high school Erin found it easier to get through life hanging around with the guys in her year level rather than deal with the nasty bitching that came with the girls. Finding herself in a new relationship with one of the guys she knew she found herself beginning to feel things she never realized she had been capable of feeling; though his ever growing jealousy of her close bonds & relationships slowly caused her to put distance between her & those who had always been there for her & after many one sided conversations the two of them decided that it was time she took responsibility for her life. Not wishing to be a burden on her mother any longer she took on a job & eventually moved out, her determination something she was not willing to let be broken. Reluctant to let her go, her mother finally agreed making her promise that she would continue to put all her effort into her education so that she could have a good life. With the encouragement & help of both her friends and family, Erin settled down working to increase her grades & intelligence; feeling as though her relationship was stronger than ever. However, few months into the relationship she found that his jealousy began to grow even more extensive allowing her to see less & less of those she loved, soon out of hand she found herself being handled roughly her integrity as a woman being torn down bit by bit with every little thing she did wrong. Seen as nothing but a possession to be used in his eyes, she found herself showing up to school with anything that would allow her to hide the bruising she had received from the abuse being served to her at home.
Pulling further & further away from them, her friends & family soon became worried questioning her about her sudden actions & drastic change in personality. Refusing to answer their questions she tried pushing them away terrified of what would happen if they found out what was truly going on behind the doors of her home. Not believing her denial they pushed at her harder, eventually catching sight of the truth. Furious about her slip up he became worse than ever forcing her to stay home while the beatings became more frequent, cuts big & small joining the ones she had already had covering her body. After a particularly bad night she slipped away fleeing into night as she tried to get away from the torment in her life, her battered & weak body unable to keep up with the stress that had befallen it collapsed in the street unable to go any further. Growing worried about not being able to contact her, her friends spread out eventually coming across her laying in the street. Deciding enough was enough, Sophia sat them down revealing the truth about her daughters parentage before begging them to take her away to a place she had been told would keep her safe from the dangers in the world, reluctant at first they made their way to Camp Half-Blood leaving everything else behind in hopes of a better life. Now living full time in the camp, Erin sunk deep into isolation and depression throwing up walls & forcing a change in her attitude to keep people away; hiding the fear of being hurt again deep within her ever cold heart, though her short fuse & twisted sense of justice tend to get her more attention than she likes.

Other: Though she refuses to show anyone around her, not even those she considers to be her friends, how she truly feels about what happened to her in the past before moving to Camp Half-Blood; Erin is only ever truly terrified of one thing in the world, that thing happening to be the very ex-boyfriend who abused her not only mentally, but also physically as well for a large portion of her life.
Seemingly enjoying to just sit back and relax without letting on that anything is bothering her in any way; when not hanging out with her friends somewhere within the camp, Erin is often found sitting alone within her cabin either reading, sketching or listening to music- the only thing that truly gets her to show any sort of love and excitement being the one holiday of the year that she truly enjoys; Halloween.
Absolutely hating to be used or caught up within large crowds of people when it can be avoided; Erin has quite a large disdain for those who tend to gain unfairly against others, and has no qualms with both interfering in and and putting a complete stop to such situations- the young demigod often choosing to hide away alone within the isolation of her cabin with a brooding mood whenever the Christmas holiday comes around.

Personality: Known to all those around her to be an exceedingly sweet and charming young lady; Syleste is an extremely graceful and very loving, kind-hearted girl who cares deeply for all those of whom she not only believes herself to be close to, but also those she holds dear to her within her heart; the dreamy-eyed girl showing her love and affection to all those close to her. Overly curious and full of life she tends to find herself, more often than not, walking into some sort of danger or trouble; whether it be something as minor as receiving a slight paper cut on her finger, or something that's of far more serious consequence such as following her curiosity and accidentally falling off the bank and into the camps lake- the bubbly teenager never showing any signs that she's willing to let her disability get in the way of her living the life she wants to. Though coming off sometimes as shy at first when a situation seems to overwhelm her (large crowds of people surrounding her, loads of information being given to her at one time, ect.), once she has had time to adjust, Syleste seems to have no issues putting herself out there for others to see; the young girl never truly having a problem whenever it comes to being an open book, or making friends.
Although a kind and graceful soul, Syleste is also known for being stubborn when it comes to something that she truly believes in, choosing to stand up for it rather than backing down once she has already made up her mind, usually making it near impossible to convince her otherwise. Quite mature and oddly grown-up for her age thanks to living her whole life with her disability, Syleste often does all she can not to be, or to be considered a "burden" to all those who are around her, the young woman doing everything she can and more to help out (cleaning, cooking, ect.), even sometimes choosing to put her own needs aside in favor of others, no matter how difficult the task may seem for her; the girl trying her best at everything and anything that she seems to set her mind to.
Coming across at times as being quietly confident and extremely calm, she sometimes tends to pull away from the company of others becoming very reserved and thoughtful, choosing instead to lose herself within her own mind and in her own little world. Unnaturally bright and unique in her own way, Syleste has the aptitude for thinking outside of the box on general occasion, always coming up with strange ideas that would normally otherwise be considered near impossible to pull off, though with the young woman's odd way of using her intelligence she is known for being able to twist them to the point of making it all work out.
Skills: Thanks to her disability, Syleste's other senses (hearing, smell, taste and touch) have become slightly more enhanced than that of a normal person, adding to her skills and talents when it comes to music, such as singing and playing piano. Syleste is also quite skilled when it comes to reading anything in braille, whether it be music sheets, books, class notes, ect.
The Adaptable Brain At birth, the portion of the brain that deal with vision, hearing, and all other senses are connected. As a sighted child continues to grow up, these connections begin to separate themselves from one another, until eventually independent centers in the brain control each of the different senses that a person can use. In a blind infant however, these connections might remain intact, and the job of processing sound might be shared by both the visual cortex, as well as the auditory processing centers. If a person loses his/ her sight during childhood or adulthood, the connections might have already been separated because myelin (the fatty sheath surrounding affected nerves) develops rapidly in the very young.
Neuro-Imaging Research into blindness has found that while regions in the brain that deal with vision are smaller in blind individuals than in that of those who still have their sight, other non-visual areas are increasingly larger. Looking into the brain's potential to adapt after blindness, researchers have found that blindness causes structural changes in the brain, indicating that the brain may reorganize itself functionally in order to adapt to a loss in sensory input; the area's in the brain dealing with memory, hearing, and other senses becoming enlarged in an attempt to compensate for the fact that the person can no longer see.
Echolocation A blind person can become quite adept at using echolocation (identifying an object by the sound or echo that it makes) while moving through the world around him/ her. Children or babies that are born blind use extra hand movements as they crawl, slapping the floor around them to create a kind of auditory and sensory feedback. The use of reflected sound by blind children helps them to explore and manipulate aspects of the sound world, other visually impaired individuals may make clicking noises to note the changes in sound as the distance between them and different obstacles shift; this can also be seen in animals such as dolphins and bats.
Using Touch To Explore The World The largest area of the brain's surface is devoted to the hand and the sense of touch, the skin being the largest organ of the body allows us to use this sense to the fullest, and the blind child is a "sensation" of information. Many blind individuals can feel changes in temperature as they near a window, wall, and other objects, relying on their enhanced sense of touch to help them explore the world around them.
A Deeper Vision Before the invention of non-invasive neuro-imaging, people could only speculate and look on in awe at the increased abilities that those who were blind seemed to posses. The well-known painter, Pablo Picasso explored the nature of blindness during his "Blue Period", some claiming that he was able to find an intensity of other senses in his depiction of the blind. Researchers state that what you lose in one place, you gain elsewhere, reinforcing the idea that other senses are not only affected but also enhanced by blindness.

Soon growing into a beautiful young teenager, and quickly coming to the realization that she didn't want to rely or be a burden on her mother, she tried her best, taking on more of the responsibilities at home, doing all that she could to allow her mother a break from stressing over her daughters care and well-being. Never having an issue opening up to those few who had accepted her for who she truly was, she began to become the confident young lady that her mother always meant for her to be; however her mothers long-term fear of others bullying her daughter for being different soon became a harsh and cruel reality once the young girl hit high school.
Trying her best to get through each and every single day without causing too much trouble for those that she cares about, the bubbly young teenager could often be found sitting on her own reading or studying; though with her curiosity for life ever playing on her mind, she never ceases to find a way to try and satisfy the need to explore much to her overly-cautious mother's disgust. Soon coming to the realization that it was no longer safe for her to stay in the the family home, her mother finally came to the hard decision that it was high-time that Syleste knew the truth about her father, and about her heritage. Packing up all of her possessions, the two of them worked together; helping her to move into the camp that her father had always intended for her to go to- a place where he thought that she would have a better chance at life... a life with people who would finally and completely accept her for who she is.

Demigod Abilities: Born as a child of both dreams and sleep; Syleste has been able to inherit two of her father's more note worthy of traits and abilities; the demigod herself holding an extremely strong and rather controlled power over not only the ability of sleep manipulation, but also the more rarer of her father's inherited abilities, dream walking and manipulation- the young demigod herself, the first after her own father to master moving about the dream realm with the same ease as her dad.
Sleep Manipulation - Like most children of the God of dreams; Syleste has a strong hold over the ability to manipulate sleep within both herself and others around her, allowing her to not only induce and extract sleep from a person but to also manipulate and enhance all aspects of sleep itself- the young demigod, though innocent in looks and sweet in nature, is able to manipulate the sleep patterns of a person, as well as be able to choose how long they are able to sleep for and how deep a sleep the person is having. Strong enough to induce not only a deep, but also instantaneous sleep on those around her, even to the extent that she could potentially be able to induce perpetual insomnia or push a demigod into a comatose state; Syleste is also able to both reduce and or remove a person's need for sleep all together, causing them to become dreadfully tired and drowsy at all times- the young child of Morpheus also helpful in the sense that she is able to also awaken a person from any type of sleeping state, regardless of the circumstances.
Dream walking/ manipulation - Both inheriting and managing to master her father's more rare talents, Syleste has the unique ability to enter a world she knows as "The Dream Realm"; allowing her to not only slip in and out of the dreams of others with ease, but also to summon others into that of her own dreams. Along with this form of power, Syleste has also been able to become exceedingly proficient in the ability to manipulate every aspect of the dreams that she finds herself in; giving her the power to bring both the sweetest of dreams to a person, as well as the most terrible of nightmares- however over her time exploring this ability, she has learnt that it also comes with a terribly dangerous side-effect. While moving about the Dream Realm, should a person, including herself get hurt, the injuries sustained would travel through the dreams before transferring out and onto that persons physical body, making this a dangerous ability that she very rarely uses outside of both the trials she holds, and her personal use. This particular ability (mostly) only happening to work if the person contacting/ or being contacted by her, is within the same country as she is, and it is shown that takes quite a lot of her energy to get it to work across oceans; however, the stronger a bond she shares with the person being contacted/ contacting her, the less energy it takes to do so.
* Though her disability is rarely ever shown to bother the young demigod; Syleste has found that while she is in the Dream Realm, she is able to see everything with perfect vision- her father's gift to her allowing her to see things that she wouldn't normally be able to see.

Other: Syleste has a deep love of most the creatures (Rabbits, cats, dogs, foxes, deer, ect.) that roam the exciting and unexplored world that surrounds her; she also has strong liking for drinking hot chocolates and cuddling up with those that she cares about in her life- her love of music also helping the young girl when it comes to being able to express herself in situations that may have her feeling both overwhelmed or upset.
Though she may seem confident and semi-competent when it comes to things she sets her mind to, Syleste has a fear of swimming and is terrified at the very thought of deep water, along with this fear she is also scared of being left alone, and being treated differently due to her disability.
While quite talented in both singing and playing the piano, Syleste has found that she is more confident with her skills when she is on her own or with someone she is extremely close to, the young girl too shy and embarrassed to show her musical talents to others.
Understanding that people can become quite uncomfortable with her disability, Syleste keeps a bit of light blue material with her which she uses to hide her eyes from view, not wanting others to have to deal with the strange look of her eyes- though the young demigod's goal is to one day find a place where she really belongs, and a life surrounded by people who truly accepted for who she is.

Personality: Seen by all within Camp Half-Blood to be both an extremely spirited and quick-witted young demigod, Arianna is not only known for being a very creative person, but also an exceedingly fierce and loyal friend to all of those that she considers herself to be close to; the young woman having a very compassionate and caring nature towards those who show her that they deserve it, allowing them to see the real her, rather than showing them just what it is that everyone expects her to be due to her father being not only the camps director, but also the God of wine; the girl unafraid of showing nothing but comfort and love towards both her family and friends, and an almost sisterly type care towards the sweet and caring counselor of the Morpheus cabin that she has grown close to during her time within the camp. Biography: After her birth Arianna’s mother, Jean, threw herself into her work trying as hard as she could to provide her daughter with anything she would need growing up though with a growing business and a busy club being a single mother was never an easy feat. Growing up surrounded by music, alcohol and a vast amount of staff whom she always considered her family, the young outgoing child was found the center of attention; never letting there be a dull moment in the lives of all those she knew. With worry for how her surroundings might impact her future her mother and the rest of the staff pulled together teaching her as best they could things that she had always shown an interest in; defense and how to fight from the bouncers and the security guards, music and mixing from the DJ’s and bands that her mother employed, and as she grew older she learnt how to mix and create her own drinks from the bartenders who had watched over her throughout her life. Hitting high school Arianna never found it hard to make friends with those surrounding her, quickly making close bonds and relationships with those she felt she could truly trust though with her laid back and curious nature the girl always had a flair for cruising through life with not many worries clouding her head. With the encouragement and help of her friends and family though, Arianna managed to push up her grades all the while honing her skills in the areas she found she had a love of; her already vast collection of music and alcohol growing immensely with each year that passed her by.
Extremely protective over her friends she kept a close watch over them stepping in whenever someone made small jibes or rumors about any of them though as it began to turn into full blown bullying her patience, and unbeknownst to her, her sanity began to wear thin. After a particularly nasty day for her best friend ending with the two huddled in the hospital with the nurse wrapping bandages around her wrists Arianna had had enough a small switch clicking over in her mind causing her to step over the edge causing everyone to begin to grow weary of her, tip-toeing around her careful not to make a wrong move. Catching up with the one the guy who had put her friend in the hospital under constant watch she forced her way into his home economics class confronting him all the while ignoring the protests of the teacher, having enough of his crap and wanting to put him through the same pain that he had put her friend through she grabbed his arm shoving his hand into the blender that was being used by one of the other students causing the school to go into a full blown panic. Not knowing what else to do with her the justice system had her sent away separating her from the world she loved by placing her in an asylum far from the company of her family and friends. After a year locked away in a padded cell for her crime Arianna was released back into her mother’s care with a new nickname and a new instilled fear of losing control of herself again; deciding the time was right Jean sat her down telling her the truth about her father and where she could find him, taking that as a hint she packed her bags up and with the help of her family she made her way to the camp. Now living full time in the camp with her father, Arianna tries to keep herself in good spirits though whenever she can she always jumps at the chance of going to festivals, spending more time away then in her own cabin.

Demigod Abilities: Born as a child of partying and madness; Arianna has been not only lucky, but also unlucky enough to inherit five of her father's more notable of traits and abilities; the bubbly and young party girl herself holding a rather impressive power and control over both Chlorokinesis and Alcokinesis, as well as being able to wield the gifted abilities of Party Sense and Endless Supply- however, Arianna's more impressive and slightly worrying trait is her ability (like that of her father's) to Cure Madness within others.
Chlorokinesis - Taking after most other children of Dionysus when it comes to her purely natural and rather impressive hold over plant life; Arianna is able to not only skillfully grow plants around her, but she is also able to both control and summon them- though like her father and brothers before her, she does indeed prefer the grape and strawberry vines that she helps to tend to during her time within the camp. Able to use her abilities in combat and against any opponents that come up against her in battle; Arianna is able to manipulate her plants and vines to the point which she is able to not only bind her enemy, but if her head is not in the right place, she is also able to suffocate and strangle them until there are no longer any signs of life- her vines both exceedingly strong and durable, almost matching the same quality of Dionysus himself.
Alcokinesis - Following closely within her father's footsteps when it comes to her love of drinking; Arianna has the strong ability to not only create and brew her own alcohol, but to also manipulate alcohols of any kind that she comes across. No where near as masterful in her abilities as others within the camp; Arianna will often seek out her father or call upon her older half-brother, Pollux, for both advice and also help when it comes to practicing her alcohol transformation and conjuration- and while the young daughter of Dionysus seems to be able to hold her own in a drinking competition against her father, it's shown that she is almost completely immune to the affects that alcohol has on other around her; the daughter of wine only ever able to get and maintain the perfect buzz that comes with drinking.
Curing Madness - The daughter of madness herself; Arianna has the rare ability to cure people of any madness that plagues their minds or haunts them, the young girl able to pull it straight from them just like that of her father before her, leaving the person once affected no longer feeling any ties to the madness which afflicted them in the first place- however, a double-edged blade, Arianna only ever uses this ability as a last resort and with a heavy heart as the madness which she removes from the person that she's curing, piles up and only adds to her own, causing her own condition to worsen each time she uses it.
Partying/ Party Sense - Taking after her infamous father before her when it comes to their love and flair for the thrill of the party scene; Arianna has the ability to sense not only if there is a party going on, but also where that party is being held at the time, allowing the daughter of Dionysus to intentionally seek out and join in on the fun- also known as the camps resident party girl, and thanks to her father's Godly influence on her abilities, Arianna is known for being able to throw parties and other shin-digs that are not only considered to be wild, but are also some of the most memorable in camps history.
Endless Supply - Seen to all (including herself) as almost nothing more than an amusing party trick; Arianna was gifted with the not only seemingly useless, though extremely unique and quirky ability to produce an endless supply of hats by her father, Dionysus, whether this be by pulling them from somewhere as strange as the pocket on someones clothing, or even as odd as managing to retrieve one from the depths of another hat itself- the young party girl showing mass amounts of control over the fun ability, even to the point in which she also has complete control over the hat once it is on a person's head, sometimes causing the wearer to have to await and seek out her permission before they are able to remove it.

Other: Not particularly a fan of being left on her own, or having to deal with complete and utter silence even while in a group; after a full years stint within an institution before she was sent to the camp to live under her father's watchful eye, Arianna is completely terrified of losing control of herself again just as she did during her past- the madness within herself, and the thought that it could once again take over, her deepest and darkest fear.

Personality: Upon first impression, many people dislike Griffin for his sardonic nature, snarky attitude, and apathetic, brutally honest demeanor. Often unwilling to take a position of responsibility and begrudgingly following orders, Griffin can be aptly described as a "free spirit", uncaring of what he does so long as he chooses to do it.
Griffin does not suffer fools gladly, and completely disregards anyone he perceives to be arrogant, rude, cruel, or stupid, treating them with open disdain and sarcasm.
This mocking nature masks a more insightful side that Griffin only displays to those he is closest to. Remarkably intelligent and well-read, his span of knowledge is only bested by his thirst for it. Nine months later, Baby Griffin was born. Young, scared, and with no idea how to raise a child, Griffin's mother, Holly felt that her child's best option would be with someone who could care and provide for him. That answer came in Holly's maternal uncle, Redmond. Officially putting Redmond down as the baby's godfather, Griffin was raised in the capital city of Belfast in Northern Ireland under the caring, watchful eye of his great-uncle.
Highly curious and mischievous in youth, Griffin, given the first name Hawley in remembrance of his birth mother, was an explorer, frequently running off on his own to appease his inquisitive nature. Though Redmond tried his best to steer the young Griffin towards a more quiet, conservative nature, Hawley nonetheless continued his haphazard 'adventures'.
Unbeknownst to Griffin at the time, his guardian was no mere mortal - but a demigod, son of Athena. Knowing full well the dangers that came with raising a demigod, Redmond did all in his power to keep the boy safe from harm, monitoring him closely for any sign of his special powers. Such a sign would come when Hawley was merely 6 years old. An old rusted shed he was trying to break into in his backyard was sealed shut by multiple padlocks. In a fit of irritation, Hawley tugged at the chains securing the doors, only for the locks to shatter into pieces, falling onto the ground.
Now with Hawley's growing powers revealed, Redmond took the boy and fled to America to escape any potential monster threat, settling in the bustling state of New York in hopes that the extensive mortal presence would hide the young Griffin's blood.
As Griffin grew older, he began experiencing the various troubles that came with demigod children: crippling ADHD, debilitating dyslexia, and a feeling of disconnect with the other children. As such, when he turned 13 years old, Redmond decided to reveal Hawley's heritage to him.
Learning that he was the son of Hermes, messenger of the gods, Griffin did not react with vehement disbelief like many other demigods had, but merely took the fact as an interesting note of his heritage.
Shortly after, he was sent to Camp Half-Blood, where he would be kept safe from harm, taught to hone on his abilities.

Weapon/s: A single xiphos sword, given to him by his father. Weapon/s Name: κουρά αέρα - Roughly translated to: The Shear Wind Weapon/s Type: Wrought of Celestial Bronze Attributes: The blade is said to be remarkably light, yet weighed almost inhumanly perfect for one's grip. Shearwind is nigh-indestructible and dangerously sharp, capable of slicing through stone and even certain metals. Perhaps most remarkably, the sword is capable of teleporting individuals when swung through the air. Similar to the infamous Shadow Travel used by children of the Underworld, the blade's reach is capable of sending one nearly anywhere they desire, though it causes Griffin great fatigue which only increases with the gain of distance, thus he limits himself as much as he can. Likewise the blade needs time to recharge between instances, as overuse will cause it to shatter.

The young demigod, though holding a great knowledge of the industry, always pushing herself to the limits to expand on her intelligence and skills so that she can continue to be the best, and give what little family she still has left the life she wants them to live.
Biography: Growing up under the loving care of her mothers parents, Ky was always a sweet and kind young girl. Forming a stronger relationship with the guys of the group rather than the girls, the young Australian learning from a young age how to look after and defend herself. Hanging out with the guys helped her to grow into a beautiful, confident young lady. Wanting to do her best and help her family in anyway she could, she threw herself into her studies, raising her grades so that she could make her grandparents proud of who she was becoming. Deciding that it was time for their granddaughter to become a woman of her own, her grandparents sat her down telling her the truth about her past their wishes for her to seek out and live within the camp that her father had spoken to them about many times. Reluctantly she packed her bags saying goodbye to her family before heading off for a new life within Camp Half-blood where she met her several people who welcomed and accepted her for who she was. After a year of arriving in the camp the close knit group of friends decided it was time to travel packing their things into the back of her newly build car before they set out to travel around unknowingly putting a target on their backs and causing them to land in a hell they never believed they would get out of; the Goddess Ate unintentionally teaching them that they needed to be more careful about what they do.
After what seemed like days of torture, Ky woke up finding herself in the infirmary surrounded by the Apollo children who worked tirelessly to keep the pain of her injuries at a bare minimum; just another reminder of what their lives would have in store for them all. Soon after getting back to a normal daily routine Ky pushed herself into her work growing closer and closer to one of her friends who had been by her side since day one in the camp, the two of them eventually giving into their feelings for each other and beginning a relationship. After a year, one trip back to her hometown and the loss of grandfather caused a strain on their relationship and in turn caused the love of her life to walk out and leave the camp to be with his family, leaving her on her own once more with those she thought were friends moving on with their lives one by one. At the loss of her last known family, her grandmother, she flew back home for the last time knowing that once she had set all affairs in order she would no longer be able to return to the place she grew up into the loving arms of people she once knew. Now a mature polite young teenager, Ky stepped out of the safety walls of the place she had called home and back into the world nervous to rejoin camp and mess things up for her family who are watching over her. Slipping back into a semi-normal daily routine she tries her best to keep out of trouble and reform the bonds she once had while forgetting the love she once shared, knowing that it wasn't meant to be.

Demigod Abilities: Born as a child of the forge; Ky' vie was lucky enough to inherit two of her father's more notable of traits and abilities; the demigod herself holding a strong and rather controlled power over not only the more common ability of technokinesis, but also the more rarer of her father's abilities, pyrokinesis- the young woman herself, the first after her older half-brother Leo Valdez to master this particular and rather fiery ability.
Technokinesis - Taking after her older half-brother, Leo Valdez, when it comes to her both strong and rather impressive mechanical abilities; Ky' vie is able to skillfully manipulate both machines and technology by not only physically animating them, but also by controlling and communicating with them- this part of her abilities allowing her to manipulate a rather extensive amount of machines and technology including things such as lamps, vacuums, computers, ect. Seen to be the most experienced and skilled within the Hephaestus cabin; Ky is able to understand and sense machinery, and has the rare talent of being able to expertly operate machines in which she had no prior knowledge or experience with- the young woman able to instinctively fly and or drive any mechanical vehicle proficiently; including vehicles such as cars, trains, and helicopters.
Also able to sense faults in metal ore, and able to identify different types of machinery and it's use with a simple touch; Ky is also able to (in particular types of mechanical traps) sense traps, the demigod capable of disabling such complex traps of her father's design when others might find it impossible- while showing that she is more than capable within her abilities, there are certain types of her technokinesis are also dependent on electrokinesis as most of the machines used are run by electricity.
Pyrokinesis - The very first demigod after her older half-brother, Leo Valdez, to master the more dangerous and at times extremely unpredictable ability of pyrokinesis; Ky' vie is able to proficiently generate as well as both manipulate and control the flames of a fire- allowing her the ability to manipulate something as small as lighting and or playing with the flame of a candle, or something much grander as being able to shoot or cover her entire body with white-hot flames; the temperature of such flames able to reach such heights that, despite her well-known and extremely strong resistance to fire and heat, are able to both char and damage her body to the point that she will need to spend time with the Apollo children within the infirmary.
Though showing mass amounts of control over the rare ability of a child of Hephaestus, Ky' vie does however have sometimes have trouble whenever she gets overly excited, scared or even flustered; her emotions causing varying effects such as causing her to heat up and smoke, or even have her hair flair up or burst into flames- however on any normal circumstances, Ky is able to both create and throw such things as fireballs, fire bolts, fire blasts, and when concentrating hard enough on the task at hand, can create impressively large and intense columns of fire; her ability showing that she could potentially be held in comparison to the children of the big three, though her passive nature and non-violent persona help to keep her grounded and down to earth.

Weapon/s: Though once known to be one of the more violent people within the camp, her strength and skills in fighting matching even that of the Ares children; Ky' vie no longer relies or believes that fighting should be used to solve all her problems like she did when she was younger, the demigod only ever using her weapon when the situation calls for her to do so. Other: With immense talent for drawing up both blueprints and plans that are unmatched by any other in Camp Half-Blood; Ky' vie has an absolute love for tinkering with plans and parts, building machines and other items from scratch, and for fixing broken things that other campers come to her for help with; whether it be as simple as fixing the Aphrodite children's hair curlers, or something more complex such as cars or motorbikes.
With a simple need and enjoyment of both spending time and entertaining her friends within the camp, Ky' vie has a strong love of cooking and will often throw barbecue's for the campers, giving those who wouldn't normally the chance to hang out and mingle with others around them- the demigod sometimes showing her musical talent by even not only breaking out her guitar and piano playing skills, but also her singing voice when those around her all ask for and cheer her on to do so.

Personality: In many ways, Roy's personality resembles that of his father's domain. Like the winter, he is fierce, indomitable, and powerful; capable of both peaceful tranquility and harsh, intense rage. He is loyal, steadfast, and honest to a fault, never one to hide his opinions or beliefs, even in regards to his friends. He is courteous and well-mannered, yet aloof and somewhat distant, his eyes always remaining cold and indifferent, no matter how warm his smile may be.
Demanding and impulsive at times, Roy can be harsh and single-minded, prone to a strictness whenever those in his cabin disobey him. This harshness, coupled with his blunt, borderline rude honesty cause a number of campers to dislike him, but he does not appear to be fazed by such information, believing that a man has to say what needs to be said; even if it hurts or offends others.
Often called larger than life for his intimidating stature and inclination towards taking the leadership role in a group, Roy possesses strong leadership skills, known for valuing cooperation and teamwork while ensuring that each member be treated equally, specialized in a way that maximizes their skills while counterbalancing their weaknesses. During quests he becomes incredibly brave with a determination to focus on a single task. During such times, he becomes almost frighteningly devoted, often risking his own safety in order to complete an objective. This resolute nature often appears during more recreational tasks, such as Capture the Flag, or even simple hobbies.
Many who speak to Roy describe him as being incredibly friendly and good-natured, but end up knowing very little about his personal life or interests due to his somewhat stoic demeanor. He becomes hesitant upon any mention of his past or hobbies, usually clumsily attempting to divert the topic back into something more general. However, he is a man of good humor who enjoys good discussion and healthy drink, showing that he desires peace and serenity far more than strife and conflict.
Nevertheless, Roy is infamous for his short, oftentimes explosive temper. Tumultuous as a winter storm, he is capable of loud, sometimes even violent outbursts that manifest whenever he feels particularly stressed, indignant, or simply angry. This short temper is only magnified by terrible stress-management skills. Though a good leader, Roy has a difficult time adapting to fast-paced scenarios, or situations that don't go according to plan. Instead of leading during such times, he simply overloads, unable to properly think or process. Roy is aware of and disgusted by his temperamental nature, often choosing to secluding himself out of shame or disappointment for a few hours following any particularly vehement outburst.
Lastly, Roy has a somewhat complicated relationship with both his father and half-sister. Boreas is the winter personified, and thus has difficulty showing affection or care for his son. Likewise, Roy is disgusted by his father's totally apathetic nature. As such, when together, they rarely speak for fear of argument. Some theorize that this mutual dislike stems from deep similarities between the two of them. Likewise Khione's relationship with her younger brother tends to be complex. Though they do not speak much, Roy implies that at one point she attempted to seduce him, the full details of this encounter being unknown.

Physical Fitness: Having participated in many outdoor activities since he was young, Roy is in excellent physical shape as a result. As the winter is firm and resolute, so is he. Possessing tremendous strength, endurance, and dexterity, Roy is capable of surviving, and even thriving in seemingly inhospitable environments, with many describing him as an ox of a man.
Combative Ability: Roy's physical prowess is only heightened by combative and weapon training. Versatile, he is capable of wielding a variety of weapons, ranging from dual daggers all the way to a massive battleaxe or warhammer with the same amount of skill, though he seems inclined towards wielding stronger, heavier weapons. Likewise, he is trained in hand-to-hand combat, frequently incorporating a boxing-type style in fistfights, where he relies on his own strength to overpower opponents.
Cryokinesis: As the son of Boreas, Roy has complete control over the elements of winter. He naturally emanates cold air around him, which is capable of covering the ground in frost if he's sufficiently angered. On a more offensive note, Roy is capable of projecting jets of swirling ice and snow from his hands, summoning hailstorms and freezing winds, creating objects out of solid ice, freezing objects or opponents, covering himself in hardened ice for "armor", and even potentially summoning a blizzard. Roy frequently uses his powers to create weapons in the midst of battle, though extended use of his Cryokinesis can drain him physically, leaving him weak and tired should he overexert himself.
Aerokinesis: As his father is the North Wind, Roy has some control over the air and wind, though not nearly to the extent of the sons or daughters of Zeus/Jupiter. He can create and manipulate air waves and currents, create powerful gusts of wind, and even learn to levitate or fly.
Survival Skills & Instinct: Due to having an outdoors-oriented childhood, Roy possesses excellent survival skills in the wild. He has expansive knowledge on knot tying, how to build a shelter, start a fire, treat water, build traps to catch food, and even first aid knowledge for injuries one would typically receive outdoors. Likewise, he possesses incredible survival instincts that give him good control over his fight-or-flight response.
Fluency in French: As his father himself is based in Quebec, Roy is naturally adept at understanding the language. He can read, speak, and write French almost perfectly, though he doesn't appear too interested in the language itself.
Skill with Animals: Roy seems to be naturally gifted with animals. Most any type of creature, ranging from domesticated animals all the way to wild creatures seem to gravitate towards Roy, and he has an uncanny ability to calm down most wild animals he sees, barring an angry bear or wolf, of course. As a result, Roy often forms deep connections with animals, especially his own dog, Hircine.
Carpentry: Though his skill with building and tinkering pales in comparison to the children of Hephaestus, Roy is skilled at making items out of wood, typically small whittled statues or sculptures. Biography: To Roy's mother, her union with Boreas was very intimate and special. In disguise, he would often grab a cup of coffee or bite to eat at the local cafe she worked at, tending to him each of his visits. The two soon grew fond of each other, beginning a romantic pursuit. Then, one fateful night after one too many glasses of wine...you can guess the rest.
Nine months later, Roy Ulysses Thatcher was born. Roy's father, who bothered not to reveal his own identity to Susan, disappeared without a trace, leaving her to raise him alone for the first few years of his life. Then, as luck would have it, nearly four years after Roy's birth, a new man would come into the picture: Jack Montag. An Army-man turned logger who happened to own his own lumber mill, Jack was strong and dependable, soon wooing Susan much the same way Boreas had years before.
Before long, the two were married, and Roy, now with the surname Montag, had a family. Growing up, Roy was raised in a solid lifestyle, being taught the value of hard work and trustworthiness since he was old enough to walk and talk. As Roy grew older, he would become involved with various youth groups, such as the Cub and Boy Scouts, as well as frequently participating in his family's church; even helping work at the lumber mill when he got old enough.
Roy had a strong relationship with both parents, being taught how to whittle and play guitar by his father, and how to sew and cook from his mother. Things were...happy.
However, as was the case with every demigod, the time would come when they would need to leave...even if they had no idea they were demigods.
One fateful day, Roy was walking through the woods on the outskirts of his house, looking for new trees or animals to discover. Suddenly, a flash of white in front of him caught his eyes, drawing them up to a tall branch in a towering tree...a snowy owl. Native to the Arctic regions, the bird had no place here in California, yet here it was...
Intrigued, Roy could only stare at the bird, completely entranced. It was only there for a moment before disappearing in the flutter of wings, with a single letter floating to the ground, left by the owl.
Held together with a snowflake wax seal, the letter lacked any other markings or address. And yet...Roy knew inside that whatever it was and wherever it came from; it was important. Taking it straight home, Roy sat down both his parents and opened the wax seal.
Inside was a single piece of paper, its writing at first appeared completely unintelligible to Roy, written in a language that his parents could only infer to be French. Soon, however, the words seemed to rearrange themselves, becoming legible to him. The letter referred to Roy as the "Son of Boreas", speaking of Camp Half-Blood and a formal invitation for Roy to attend. Stressed at the sudden news, Roy at first was unresponsive, utterly unsure of who Boreas was or how he could be his father. After a few hours of close discussion, Roy's mother came to the conclusion that Roy's biological father - her mysterious suitor all those years ago, was Boreas, himself.
Deciding that Camp would indeed be the best option for Roy's growth and safety, his parents reluctantly sent him on a plane to New York with directions to the Camp placed conveniently in the letter.
Now, Roy has integrated well into the camp, becoming a strong leader and fighter. Still keeping in semi-regular contact with his parents, Roy has all but immersed himself in his Greek heritage, but still keeps a cross necklace and knowledge of a few hymns to remind him of home...

Biography: Once again, I sit in the silence of my room writing the thoughts that wander into my mind… Mother believes that I am too old to be writing such memoirs, though I stood strong against her once again. She believes this to be a good quality for the next Chiefest- she even went as far as to tell me that I am doing well in my studies as next in line. I truly have no thoughts against such things. Ever since I can remember, I have been trained… raised into this life, and taught all that I must know in order to be able to take my place as head of the tribe when the time comes- to hear such a compliment fall from mothers lips… it fills me with such pride. I know that I can do this. I can become the warrior, the leader- the woman that she wants me to become… I just need to focus on the things that are important.
This morning, we fought. I am by far the strongest to travel through the tribe since my mother; it is something I have heard over and over- but today they finally gave me that chance to prove myself against any and all who believed themselves to be strong enough to take me in combat. It was not as though I was not enjoying myself; when I fight, I feel as though I am truly alive… as if my heart is soaring. Body, mind and blade become one, and I can do anything. Take anyone. Those of who believed me to only be favoured learned such a thing the hard way; each of them earning a permanent reminder of my skill as they fell to the ground at my feet.
Once three of them fell to the dirt, most others decided to shy away. Such cowards we have within the tribe. It is a sign that they are pathetic, and weak. Two traits I will not allow, under any circumstances, to fester in among the women after I am made the Chiefest… Later, Chieya and I were in the middle of our match when the sound of the warning horn blew, ringing both loud and clear throughout the village, and for all within and working around it to hear. Neither of us hesitated. Neither of us even spoke a single word to each other, or anyone around us; we just left to carry out our duty- to protect the tribe at all cost against whatever was threatening us.
It was not the first time have seen a man; though it is the first time that I have seen one so young, and wandering so close to our village before. He was alone… or at least, from what I could see he was alone. How he had even managed to cross over the deep and raging river without the help of the tree tops was surprising, and seemed to have even him celebrating the fact that he had arrived on the opposite side alive and in one piece. That was, until I ran my spear through the center of his chest… The sound of terrified screams and scrambling filled the air from somewhere on the opposite side of the river, but I just could not look away from the man now slumped back, unmoving and bleeding out on the rocks not too far from where I stood. The look upon his face… the surprise… I cannot deny that I felt quite a deep satisfaction welling within my heart.
I carried him back to the village. Presented him to my mother and the other elders, while the rest of the tribe watched on in silence. I was the only one to bring back a prize from the hunt; the others I had not realized were with him, had managed to get away from the area, and out of the tribes reach. My mother and the elders left to meet- there was nothing else left but to return back to what we had been doing before the horn had sounded. Though I tried to focus on the task at hand; I just could not stop thinking about the look upon the man’s face… the way that his blood had stained the rocks and the water red; and how I had been the cause of his death. It was not until the sun was almost set upon the horizon that I was called in to speak privately with my mother.
She spoke to me about my heritage, and about two men I had spent my life giving praise to, and worshipping along with the other Gods and Goddesses within our lives. Lord Hermes and the mighty Lord Ares. I do not know what it is that I am meant to believe anymore; mother claims them both to be real… and above that, she claims Hermes to be my father, and that I am Legacy to the war God... I believe it to explain much about myself... She spoke to me of a place in which my father sent word about; a place where others fathered and mothered by the Gods can go to learn the ways of their divine halves. A place she called Camp Half-Blood. Fitting… half-blood… my blood is tainted, but with that of the Gods. I am still unsure as to whether or not this is a good thing.
I am being sent away. At first light, I leave the village. One last test; one that I must complete so that I may prove myself to the tribe, before I am to come back and take my mother’s place as Chiefest. I have already packed away the things that I am to be taking with me; the only thing left is this book… I could not put it away without writing in today’s events. They are far too great- far too important to just settle in mind before being forgotten in the morn. I understand what it is that I must do… and while I am reluctant to truly put faith into what I have been told this day, I will do what I must in order to securely preserve the future of this tribe.
As the sun rises within the East, so shall I take my first steps out of the tribe’s boarder and into the rest of the world. The only comfort I will have is this book and the rest of my belongings I am to take with me… May my father blessing shine over me on this journey… and pray we never encounter one another. I would hate to spill blood that I share in my veins… Now as the thought crossed through my mind, I must wash clean the crimson that stains my blade- I will not soon forget the way in which I felt when I took my first life.

Fighting Abilities: Showing remarkable skill and ability when it comes to leading those under her command, Octavia has been classed as not only a fierce warrior, but also the best warrior of her generation within her tribe; proving her worth to the elders of her tribe in both armed and hand-to-hand combat, her rather unique and, at times, deadly style of combat leaving her opponent tending to wounds or laying still, and unmoving upon the ground. Exceptionally skilled at handling a blade during battle, Octavia’s almost lightning-fast reflexes mixed with her excellent speed and flexibility, allow her to be able to not only pull her weapon quickly from its sheath, but to send it soaring or to strike down her target in a rather quick succession of time- and while her obvious hatred for men is shown clear upon her features, the young Amazon shows almost no hesitation in having to team up with them in order to get the job done if necessary.

Appearance: Tall and thin and every bit unbefitting of his own name as one could be. His Red hair and sharp facial features contradict any form of modern ideals of handsomeness even before the glasses. His unmatching eyes add a sense of unrealness to his already strange appearance. Personality: Mathew is considerably happier around people he likes, though he occasionally feels as though he isn't as important to others as they are to him. He tries to better himself often though somehow always ends up failing or giving up at accomplishing his goals. He spends a lot of time day dreaming and spacing out, often making him feel bad when around others as he just can't focus. He is self conscious about his appearance and his self in general.

Biography: Angela Cartelle was a dreamer, no body would deny that. She was an artist as well, this was the debatable fact for her talent with abstract was becoming less popular, especially considering elephants and infants wore the cloak of abstract artist better. This never detered her though, she was a master after all. After years of personal improvement and more years of art school she was well versed in realism, landscapes, concepts and everything in between. She dreamed of all the world she had never seen and what she would paint next as well as a unique looking man who she wished one day to call her own.
Angela painted him for years, creating masterpieces of the dream man relating him to every form of mythical humanoid she could muster. He was her muse. And one day, he showed up. Nichole and her mysterious dream man lived happily, or so she tells it years down the line when her son is old enough to understand. He was the best thing that could have happened for her, he just had other things to do. Angela claims he is still in her dreams sometimes though less and less as the years go by.
Mathew, as a child, never met his father. He grew up with a women he could've sworn was delusional. She thought he was coming back, her painting showed as much. Mathew never seemed out of the ordinary, though he slept more soundly than most babies and children. He never had a bad dream and as his mother will tell, he was an imaginative little kid and a daydreamer. Mathew flew through younger life, none of it sticking with him until first grade.
He was a popular child, this Mathew can tell you himself. He was never good at reading or math but he could captivate an audience with ease. When he told stories of dragons and faeries and every manner of beast from his mothers painting, he did so with such color everyone listening could swear they could see it. His creativeness and willingness to share such ideas gave him friends and this was worth so much more than grades for him.
As he grew older, his friends drifted to other people. No body wanted to hear stories about princess any more they wanted the grit and the gruesomeness that would prepare them for life. They wanted a friend who wasn't ugly and stupid. So by middle school Mathew was ugly stupid and friendless. He wrote in his spare time, handwriting neater than the girls his age so he could at least keep his own thoughts with him. He still had his mom too, though she was slowing down from years of waiting for someone who will never come. She didn't paint him anymore.
High school brought even more conflict and how Mathew even managed to survive is beyond even him. Really between the monsters that started showing up in real life and the bullying he aught to have died. For the most part he learned to throw rocks at their faces and run. There were days when he came home to the loft, face bruised and cut and he'd have to get cleaned up before his mother came home or else stay in his room. These were the days where he felt the worst, like nothing fit anymore because he had dreams and ambitions and nothing seemed to be coming together.
One summer his junior year, his mother came into his room, catching a glimpse of a bruised shoulder but what does a mother even do. She had come to tell him of a camp for people like him, strange or not, and so she did that. With as much comforting as she could muster she had told him everything would work out.
That summer, his first summer at camp half-blood, was the best thing he'd experienced to that point. He finally felt like he belonged and had friends and everything was finally making sense. The next few years went by in a similar fashion as the first going between camp and home. Switching schools often and having only a few friends. At least he was finally happy.

Demigod Abilities: Manipulate sleep: Mathew can manipulate sleep, though he finds it difficult to do so to most people. He could put an individual to sleep or into a coma, as well as manipulate the intensity of sleep. This power isn't very strong with him and he has problems using it on anyone who isn't already tiered or easily manipulable at the time.
Manipulate dreams: When people are sleeping Mathew finds it easy to alter or suggest what they might dream of; for better or worse. He has used this to give his younger sister pleasant dreams, as well as his mother and inadvertently himself.

Chlorokinesis - Taking after most other children of Dionysus when it comes to his purely natural and rather impressive hold over plant life; Ivan is able to not only skillfully grow plants around him, but he is also able to both control and summon them- though like his father and siblings before him, he does indeed prefer the grape and strawberry vines that he helps to tend to during his time within the camp. Able to use his abilities in combat and against any opponents that come up against his in battle; Ivan is able to manipulate his plants and vines to the point which he is able to bind and restrain his enemy- his vines both exceedingly strong and durable, almost matching the same quality of Dionysus himself.
Alcokinesis - Following closely within his father's footsteps when it comes to his insane love of drinking; Ivan has the strong ability to not only create and brew his own alcohol, but to also manipulate alcohols of any kind that he comes across. No where near as masterful in his abilities as his siblings before him; Ivan chooses to more times than none leave the work to his talented little sister, allowing her to do what she loves, as long as he's the one to taste test any of her creations- and while the son of Dionysus seems to be able to hold his own in a drinking competition against his father and all others he comes up against, it's shown that he is almost completely immune to the affects that alcohol has on other around him; the son of wine only ever able to get and maintain the perfect buzz that comes with drinking.
Partying/ Party Sense - Taking after his father before him when it comes to their families love and flair for the thrill of the party scene; Ivan has the ability to sense not only if there is a party going on, but also where that party is being held at the time, allowing the son of Dionysus to intentionally seek out and join in on the fun- also the brother of the camps resident party girl, and thanks to his father's Godly influence on his abilities, Ivan is known for helping his sister to throw parties and other shin-digs that are not only considered to be wild, but are also some of the most memorable in camps history.

Personality: Elena is usually seen as a very happy person most of the time she has a feisty personality and is known for witty or sarcastic comments. She enjoys making people laugh and will go out of her way to try and befriend or at least try and get along with anyone that she meets, she has a good heart and a very loyal friend. Though sometimes when she jokes a bit to much people may or may not get annoyed with her, when that happens she will give the person space. And when someone is in a very bad mood she will try her best to cheer them up or at least make them smile. Elena also does enjoy going around and doing pranks on occasion on other campers just for laughs and she enjoys doing it a lot of the time.
When it comes to fighting Elena is usually seen to be very calm, watching very closely at what her opponents movements and will even let them get a few good hits just to see how well of a fighter they are. When it comes to competitions or games around Camp Half-Blood, she will enter them in a heartbeat enjoying the thrill of it all, its unheard of her to lose a fight but if she does she will take it in stride and is rarely ever seen as a sore looser. Elena has been known to have sudden bouts of rage, when this happens it is best to stay away from her when that happens, if you happen to be a victim of one of her rage tantrums then she will quickly apologize to the person.
Skills: Elena is in top physical condition and is seen to always be training constantly either by herself or with someone who is unlucky to have accepted a sparing match with her. Elena is very skilled in melee combat as well as hand to hand, she will use a ranged weapon but only if it is necessary. Elena is rarely ever seen getting sick due to always being healthy, she also spends a lot of her time running around camp or swimming in the lake and is a skilled runner and swimmer.
Biography: Elena was born into a small family being a year younger then her half brother Mathew, she had a rather normal and very plain childhood, she had a lot of friends and enjoyed hanging out with them. As Elena got older though she slowly started finding herself getting into fights quiet often, eventually getting her kicked out of her first school for getting to rough with a boy who was a year younger then her. Her step father eventually set Elena up with a guitar which she eventually fell in love with and kept her out of trouble for the most part, she would still get into a fight or argument with other students but they wouldn't get to bloody. Just to keep Elena out of trouble her parents forced her to go into sports though she was really good one of the best players.
Elena however was prone to almost very violent acts of rage, that would eventually get her kicked out of high school when she hurt a fellow student. This then prompted her mother to tell Elena who her real father was, after finding out the truth Elena's mother took her to Camp Half-Blood.

Abilities: As the daughter of Ares, Elena is very disciplined in combat and has great control over Telumkinesis as well as Odikinesis which she uses quiet often to her advantage when she is fighting. Elena is a very cunning fighter as well, if she spots any sort of weakness she will exploit it when all else fails she will fight dirty if she needs to, but it is very rare when that happens and is seen more as an honorable fighter.
Telumkinesis: Being the daughter of Ares grants her a great amount of control over many types of weapons. She can conjure and use any weapon; she knows everything about a weapon when she sees it; she can incapacitate her enemies' weapons by transforming them into something far less threatening; she can place dangerous curses on weapons; and she can telekinetically disarm her opponents.
Odikinesis: Is the ability to manipulate feelings and emotions of war (such as hate and rage). This is an ability possessed by Ares/Mars, and his demigod children. Elena has some control over how her opponents feel, she uses their anger and rage against them to her advantage in combat.

In her spare time when Elena isn't out training, sparing, or in the armory she is seen in her cabin playing her guitar which is one of the things that she is passionate about. She will even sing to those who are willing to listen. She is very good at it and enjoys music even does a little bit of song writing by herself. Elena will also at times perform in The Amphitheater during special events set up by other campers or if she requests to use it.

Personality: Charlie is a hot headed bookworm, with a very low tolerance for stupidity. He often will fire off sarcastic comments when someone's being an idiot, and it's gotten him into plenty of fights with some Children of Aries. His temper is a fiery one, though really only a few things set him off. Mainly, insulting his parents, or his fighting skills. Besides those two things, he tends to keep his cool, and is known for planning out his battles very carefully.
Charlie's also a good friend, and he's always seen welcoming the newbie's to camp. He's loyal to those he's close to, and will defend them to his last breath. He's always got your back, and will refuse to leave anyone behind. In fact, he once stayed in enemy territory during a game of capture the flag while medics came to help a teammate who'd fallen and broken his ankle.
Skills: Like most Children of Athena, Charlie is an excellent strategist and a genius. He's also very skilled with a sword, though he's lacking with most other weapons.
Biography: Charlie Alexander is a survivor, because he's had to be. His father found him all wrapped up on his doorstep, asleep, after a brief fling with Athena. Charlie never had much of a normal life. His childhood was cut short by a monster, and his father constantly had them moving, fearing the monsters that Athena had once described. Finnegan Alexander raised the boy as his own for the next eight years, until there was an unfortunate knock on the door. Finnegan went to answer it while Charlie was in the living room. Finnegan never came back. Instead, a monster came for the young demigod, a servant of Arcachne, forcing the boy to run. His father had warned him of the monsters, and he knew that his only option was Camp Half-Blood. Unfortunately, he had no idea how to get there.
For the next few months, Charlie was a shadow. He kept to back alleys and abandoned warehouses, constantly on the move, hoping that something miraculous would happen to save him. Finally, while staying in an old warehouse, a satyr found him, and brought him to the camp. There, he was claimed by Athena, and began his training. At Camp Half-Blood, he grew into a leader, until he finally took over as Head of Cabin 7 when Annabeth left, leaving him as Head Owl. Personality: So what is there to say about Gabriel, aside from he is the embodiment of southern hospitality and culture. You’ll always see him being polite, saying hello to everyone that walks by, and creating a sense of ease and relaxation when he settles down. Gabriel is extremely polite to all females, no matter their view of him. To Gabriel, it’s imperative to strive to be the best person possible, instead of making enemies. Having said that, Gabriel is firm and steadfast on his morals and values; something he attributes to his godly parent.
Having been raised on a farm taught Gabriel many different virtues to uphold, such as responsibility, timeliness, and integrity. For if he ever wavered from any of those qualities, something on the farm might fall apart and hold others up. His father planted the seeds of these values early on, and with time and nourishment, they flourished inside Gabriel.
Thanks to Gabriel’s bright personality, it’s always been easy for him to make friends, and once he makes a friend, he becomes very protective. He understands the usual quips and jabs, been when someone steps over the line, Gabriel will stand beside his friend and and back them up. On top of this, Gabriel makes sure he can be depended on whenever he is needed. Gabriel is, however, dependable to a fault. He has a difficult time saying no when someone asks him for a favor, even if it means his work, or other aspect of life must suffer for it.

Skills: While not nearly as proficient as the children of Hephaestus, Gabriel does have some talent in tinkering and crafting. During his free time (while limited, was there), he learned how to play guitar. He may not be professionally good, but he still knows his way around one.
Biography: Gabriel grew up on a rather large farm twenty minutes outside Savannah, Georgia. He had a loving father, and while his godly mother was never around, Gabriel’s father, Michael, did his best to fill the void. Michael had few, if any grudges against Athena for leaving him a single parent, and in fact, did not try to hide the truth from Gabriel, believing knowing the truth early was better than learning late. So, when Gabriel was old enough to understand such things, his father explained to him what had happened and who his mother was. While it took Gabriel time to seriously grasp what this meant and that it was even fact, he eventually came to accept and understand the situation, and like his father, has no grudges against his mother for being absent.
Throughout his life, Gabriel came to befriend many farmhands, thus leading to his everyday personality. All the farmhands played their part in raising Gabriel, helping the single father. Gabriel went through school, showing above-average intelligence in classes and the same level of physical aptitude in the gym and wrestling team. Gabriel became one of the more popular people of the school, but he remained true to himself, and wasn’t changed by any attention he was given. He had few enemies through school but then, he never gave the impression of wanting to make any.
While taxing, Gabriel quickly got used to going to school during the day and working the farm when he got home. He had a few vacations during the school breaks, but for the most part, his time was spent helping on the farm and living the rather simple life. While he had no problem with this, Gabriel couldn’t help but feel there was a higher purpose waiting for him in the world. When he brought this feeling up to his father, Michael told his son about Camp Half-Blood. After more discussion, they both agreed that now was the time for Gabriel to venture on his own and make his mark on the world. With his dog, Sparta, and packed bags in tow, Gabriel headed for Camp Half-Blood to start a new chapter in his life.
Gabriel has only been at Camp Half-Blood a short time and is still getting to know everyone. Regardless, he will not let that fact stop him from doing the best he can. Gabriel is eager to meet as many new people as he can, and make a difference out there in the world.

Telumkinesis: Gabriel can know everything about a weapon once a touches it (rather than see it), and can conjure most any weapon, though like his mother, he prefers the time-tested spear and shield.
Strategist: During combat, Gabriel is calm and level-headed. While he may be at the front with his spear and shield, Gabriel keeps his eyes ever scanning the battlefield, looking for weaknesses and openings. He’s quick-thinking, and even quicker to enact a plan he’s concocted; a trait that can be seen if one watches him play chess.
Prowess in Battle:Thanks to his godly parent, Gabriel is not only tactically smart, but also physically strong and competent. Athena may have divinely blessed him with strength, his father honed it with manual farm labor. Personality: On appearance Vanessa can seem gloomy and downright pessimistic. However Vanessa isn't (usually) as gloomy as she seems. She isn't one to smile or laugh often, that's usually something that she only does when she is with her friends alone. She usually like to keep to herself or to a small group of people she's close with. She considers herself a level-head realist but her mind does often wander, sometimes from the likes of daydreaming, sometimes she just gets pushed into deep thought.
Vanessa was never surrounded by a large group of friends, probably never will be. When she was in school she was often that kid everyone would actively avoid for no good reason but at camp she has her father's reputation to thank for it, her cabin's counselor, Erin's, attitude to the general group of campers isn't any help either. Vanessa has a big heart and is willing to share it with anyone who bothers to pay her some attention. She is very loyal and cares for her friends deeply, however, in her darkest moments she will push them away. As caring as she is she believes that one should take consequences for their actions and finds it hard to forgive those who mentally or physically hurt her, her family or her friends.
Vanessa is most definitely an introvert and isn't a fan of big parties, or even such gatherings (however she quite enjoys the campfire nights). She's quite intelligent and is great with strategy, given not as much as a child of Athena but she was always an A/B student when she was in school. She usually doesn't judge quickly, or tries not to at least. She the type of person who listens to both sides of the argument and silently analyses it before coming to a personal conclusion, however, she will be quick to stand up for her loved ones. She is generally mature and responsible but when she is alone with her friends she lets loose a bit, becomes more smiley and slightly crazy even if she's close enough to them.
Skills: As far as skills go Vanessa hasn't shown any 'mortal' skill out of the ordinary, she works for what she's got. She has a rich knowledge in history and she is intelligent, but not as much so as the Athenian kids. She is great with strategy (particularly war strategy) but not as much so as a kid from Athena or Ares. She has a few musical skills up her sleeve but not to the potential of an Apollo kid. Needless to say Vanessa has skills but each are easily outshone from the children of another god
Biography: Jane had been widowed almost 2 years when she met Hades that Spring. She had taken her sons Jacob and William (whom were 3 and 4 at the time) to a local cafe for lunch. Hades happened to be seated at the table next to them and William and Jacob (at their wide-eyed naive ages) decided they wanted to talk to the 'sad man' and made attempts to be his friend until their mother intercepted. The 2 got to chatting and meet up a couple of times before falling in love, well at least Jane did.
A few days before spring ended Hades revealed his identity to her and told her that he could not see her again, neither aware Jane fallen pregnant that night.
Nine month later Jane gave a long, painful birth to Vanessa. The family of four were well off enough. Even though all 3 kids always knew Vanessa 'didn't have a dad' they never took that into much thought. Growing up William and Jacob were very protective of their younger sister, of course they often teased and tormented each other as siblings do but if anyone else did so to her they'd have older boys to answer to.
Vanessa's family lived off Jane's deceased husband's earnings (as he was a doctor when he was alive) and always had what they needed. True, they didn't have a luxurious life but they had an education, full stomachs, a roof over their heads and a bit extra for special occasions. However money was getting tighter and tighter by the year and the family couldn't live off of a deceased man's earnings forever. It was evident Jane would have to return to her job as a nurse eventually but there wasn't anyone to look after the kids and at their young age she didn't want them home alone in the evening, that was when she met Michael.
Vanessa was 5 when Jane met Micheal and truthfully she quite liked the man. The two of them married 2 years on and Vanessa always saw Micheal as her father figure and often referred to him as her father other than her stepdad despite keeping her mother's maiden name.
When Vanessa was inching toward her tenth year her mother gave birth to yet another girl, Selina. Selina was never Vanessa's half-sister. Despite technicalities Selina was never to be referred to as Vanessa's half sister when she was around or she'd be quick to correct them.
Vanessa's mother passed when she was 11. A storm had hit and the rain pounded the roof of every house, every building and covered every road. Jane was on her way home from her job when the storm hit suddenly, the rain limiting the view of every driver so neither her or the man driving the truck noticed each other until it was too late. Despite the pleas of Jane in her will Micheal decided he couldn't, and didn't want to, care for all the children left to him despite his own by blood and sent the other three kids to a local foster care home as Jane had lost contact with her family years ago. Leaving Vanessa to feel betrayed by the man who had been her father in her eyes for the last few years. Ridden with guilt Micheal would often attempt to send money and presents to the kids but they were always returned, they didn't want anything to do with him.
When she was almost 12 she first summoned zombie-like figure from the underworld. It was an accident, obviously, but of course, how are you meant to explain that to the other tweens and teens who you shared a house with? So entitling her a freak they avoided any contact with her if possible but Vanessa didn't care, this opened a new possibility for her, maybe she could see her mother, at least long enough to say goodbye. As much as she tried, however, it never worked. What Vanessa didn't know was the random deaths and brutal killings in the area weren't coincidence, although she could not summon a 'zombie' for an overly long period of time with each spirit another monster was detecting her and, when she was 14 she was quickly taken to camp half-blood by a satyr, who has lived in the foster care for a couple of months, alongside a small group of harder-to-detect demigods who had been in the area trying to kill off the beasts in the city. Despite a visit to Olympus, Vanessa had never left camp half-blood since.

Personality: Julius has always been a misguided youth. Due to his unique traits inherited by his mother, trouble always seems to follow the young demigod. Even til this day he wondered if it was his uncontrolled aura, or his father was just unnaturally that bad of an influence. Growing up in a city of expensive gamblers, loan sharks, drug dealers, and women? No chance of influence on a kid right? He's always rebelled, openly and frequently opposing authority. Constant run ins with law enforcement's has driven him to resent authority and those with titles of power. This resentment stretches even to the Thrones of Olympus, though not arrogant or outspoken to know his place, but will still challenge anyone's power he feels necessary none the less. “The Fallen Guru Jewels” as he grew in age so did his mind.
Eli lives on playing the odds in a sly manner, no matter what they be. He watched his father whom at the time was employed at a Casino, play coworkers or other shady individuals at their kitchen table. Practically losing their apartment one game! Constantly watching, hand after hand, shuffle after shuffle, tantrum after tantrum he could sense the adrenaline in their frustration. Their act of throwing bottles and swiping cards of the table, all the disorder. This is what kept the youth around at the games. From the ages 3-13 he stuck around. Learning, not just how to gamble on a table but how to gamble in life. How to bluff your way out of a sticky situation. How to con your way from nothing to something. Having to take a potential loss to possibly gain more in the long run. The simple possibility of getting caught, hurt, exposed just boosts his enthusiasm. Spontaneous and impulsive are also words to describe him.
When the time calls for it; such as during a battle or exchanging opinions in the war room, young Eli doesn't necessarily straighten up from his casual slouch. Though a change in tone and facial expression is easily noticeable. Very few have ever seen him express any emotion outside of his normal character though kids in Cabin 21 claim he gets militaristic when he’s focused on a task. Like a completely new person possesses his body and he becomes iron willed, strategic, and analyzing. Living on the thin line between order and chaos; he still has trouble balancing the two out.
Lastly, Julius is very obsessed with his sense of purpose - to find out the truth, to find out who he really was. Even though it's already defined that he is the Son of Eris he still searches for his meaning in life. What's he too become? How will he impact the world? All he knows for a fact is he'll be great. This drives him to find the answers by any means, most campers are confused when he drifts off in conversations about purpose. In truth he simply wishes for everyone to find their purposes (personally thinks some is worth more than others). His abstract and unorthodox views on certain topics have been seen as philosophic and enlightening. Given his natural chaotic nature and unique insight he's attained a label of “The Fallen Guru Jewels”.
Skills: When Julius used to gamble in the “Gold Slums” he was extremely paranoid though the other troubled teens felt their was no age restriction on finding your own way. Eli was well aware if he was caught in the Slums word would get back to his father. So he took the steps in honing his situational awareness; the ability to observe his surroundings and make detailed assessments about his environment? So that he could mark exits and other potentially useful resources for any occasion.
The young demigod also has an aptitude for extreme and combative sports. The adrenaline he receives from partaking in such events almost gives him the feel of ecstasy. Combat sports are focused on conflict, an area young Eli thrives and draws power from making his common rivals in that particular field to be those in Ares cabin, whom also draws power from conflicts. Extreme Sports are dangerous, and potentially hazardous to health and well being……. Which is why Eli dices in head first. His almost addiction to adrenaline and chance taking has proven to be beneficial. Granting him skills in fields that many care less to dwell on.
Lastly “The Great Fallen Guru” is quite adept at using his hands. With movements smoother than a magician’s whom he'd visually studied from. His pick-pocketing is awful by anyone's standards though up close “magic” and precision with thrown objects has proven useful to himself.
Biography: Mommy Jewels; his father wouldn't hesitate to call him, childhood was not a common one. Most kids are told to stay away from gambling, and the casinos in general. But not Julius, without a trustworthy babysitter his father was forced to turn his usual work schedule to “Father and Son”. Locked in a hotel room with a promiscuous hostess most of the time. ,”The monsters here are way less scarier “ Cedric would jokingly warn him. Little did he know…...
At the very beginning of brain development Eli was bred in a environment of sin. Once old enough to, the young demigod eventually began sneaking out the room to go watch the tables and soon escaping the entire hotel. The Luxor is where Eli learned about life at an extremely fast pace. But the streets of Vegas is where he learned how life works. Mentally he was already a man by the time he was 8. Attending public school, you can't imagine how much of a bad-ass you'd think you are by telling your bus mates “I live in a casino”.
At the age of 8 years old regulars at the Casino knew Eli better than the dealers. He was a bad luck charm, and the individual gamblers would pay the young demigod to lurk around a certain side of the table, or stick with (trail) someone to disrupt their odds of winning. This was money, money is what Eli liked. He retained everything he saw; the poker faces, the lies, scams, and deceit. By the time he was 10 he was sitting at the tables now, conning the richest out of a $100 just to shut up. Refusal would cause a scene, Eli jumping or throwing something on someone, out vice versa. Pulling out chairs for beautiful women to distract a group of male players at his father's blackjack table.
Eli and Cedric moved up the ladder together. As his father took promotions in the Casino, Eli promoted himself. His own scamming would improve or need find a new outlet. As he continued to progress in age, the more his father stressed staying at the hotel. Naturally the more the youth wanted to explore. Once young Eli hit the double digits it was almost as if security worked for his dad and not the Casino. Someone always followed, watched, caught, or meddled in Eli’s affairs. With his business mind developing, a regular day riding home from school became a rally. Eli promoted his idea of “The Gold Slums” a series of alleyways and abandoned evacuation tunnels on the strip.
It took “The Slums” 2 years to gain any notice. Kids would ruin away from home in dreams of shooting dice and getting rich enough to live their own life. Others their to simply pick a fight, done hiding from truant officers as by this time Eli was also. The Slums were created not only by the demigod though with other kids of similar interests. A common place for random police cars pulling up for the illegal activities poisoning the youth. Though Eli thrived in the environment. In tight situations he could always find a way. “The Slumlords” a gang started by Eli and done of the top con artist and gamblers his age didn't last long before he was sent away to Camp. On his 13th birthday it was revealed to Eli that he was not normal like the rest of the children. He only expected as much, if he held a grudge towards someone something significantly pleasing would happen. Sometimes he'd touch things that fall apart, always around an argument or fight. It was explained that the Casino strip was a great place to keep you hidden among the mortal monsters (gamblers, prostitutes, gangsters). And Cedric thanks Eris & Mercury birth for their assistance in watching over him. It wasn't much longer before his goatley companion hauled him off to a new life at Camp.

Demigod Abilities:
Discord Manipulation - Eli has the power to manipulate discord to cause conflict, disagreement, and incompatibility between others to disorganize individuals/groups or cause internal strife. The young demigod’s ability has been perfected over time at the camp. Though sometimes uncontrollable through certain emotions. Hand in hand with the ability to cause discord, he can also absorb it. Thus neutralizing potential chaos, threats, and strife.
Enhanced Dexterity - Eli can precisely control his movements and muscles, making him (for the most part) unable to be clumsy or fumbling. He can keep near perfect balance, or juggle effortlessly without ever tripping or falling over. He can even move his finger or toes effortlessly, with tendon strain no longer being a problem.
“The Fallen Guru” (ironic noe isnt it) can only fall over when physically uprooted or pushed, though most times he still can land on his feet. Eli has proven to be able to stand up right on even the most unstable of surfaces, such as a moving vehicle, a collapsing building, or an earthquake. He also is able to regain balance or bounce back to his feet quickly and perform feats such as, throwing a knife, or fighting at seemingly impossible angles and positions.
Business Intuition - Possesses incredible skill in running businesses and companies. Using this ability, he can perform such feats as always making the right choice when it comes to advancing said business and predicting sources of money crises. This particular ability has many real world and mythical applications. Paired with his situational awareness and long history of conning he's quite the business man. Any topic of situation involving trade or currency he will excel at beyond expectations.

With the 3000 activated, Eli is able to defy laws of gravity such as; running vertically on any surface, magnetic influence, increased leap ability, and doubles the overall leg strength of the user. The sneakers lastly provides a ‘Cloud comforting cushioning’ giving the wearer a feel of walking and landing on the softest clouds of Olympus.

~Other Information~
Other: Eli will almost never be seen with a weapon. He excels at Hand-to-Hand/ Close Quarters Combat (CQC). Although training classes on weaponry is an everyday thing at Camp Half Blood, and virtually everyone has a weapon of choice, Eli has not. He much prefers to move lighter and quicker than his opponents; utilizing his natural agility and speed (Son of Hermes/Mercury) to gain an advantage. This has not stopped him from continuing to practice with ranged weapons such ; throwing knives, shuriken, and at times playing cards.
Julius has a business contract written by himself with an anonymous camper in Cabin #4 for a continuous supply of marijuana. The strains the Children of Demeter create are visually appealing, and most importantly more potent than anything possibly found in the mortal world. Once he smoked some white bud that literally made him float 2 inches off the ground for a few hours.
Eli’s memory was recently tampered with during his last quest (2 weeks prior) though he seems to have retained all knowledge besides his social connections. Smoking has actually been helping with his memory. Though superb in their abilities, even the efforts of Morpheus Cabin has proven futile to piecing his memory back together through locked away parts of his consciousness and forgotten dreams.

Personality: Jess isn't your average Daughter of Demeter. Sure, she loves the outdoors, and feels at home in the forests and meadows of the camp, but she's no hippie who sits around growing flowers all day. She's sarcastic, witty, and a fighter. She's always been intent on being one of the best possible archers at Camp Half-Blood, even going head to head with some of the Children of Apollo. She respects skill a great deal, and a great way to get on her good side, is to show her what you're made of. Like most Children of Demeter, she prefers being outdoors, and many parts of the camp have patches of different flowers thanks to Jess falling asleep there. Jess can be a bit hot headed, and if someone attacks something or someone she cares about, they better run fast because if there's one thing Jessica Merrimont does, it's protect her friends.
Skills: Jess is a skilled archer, and a decent sword fighter. She's also very good at persuading people to agree with her, though her skills pale in comparison to a charmspeaker.
Biography: Jessica Merrimont was found in a meadow by her father, Alexander, when she was only a few hours old. Demeter had left her there, in the spot where she and Alexander had first met, knowing he'd come find her. Alexander owned many successful vineyards in California, and so Jess grew up well off. She never wanted for anything, although she hated that her father tended to move them around so much. It always seemed like there was another vacation that she and her father were going on.
However, it was all this constant moving that kept Jess safe from monster attacks. She never was actually caught by any monster, although she swears that once while she and her dad were in Cabo, she spotted a gorgon stalking the beach, although she's resigned to the idea that that could have just been a local in a strange hat.
After years of constant moving, Alexander finally confessed to his daughter about her mother. He told her about Camp Half-Blood and she demanded that she be taken there, determined to meet others that were like her. At the camp, she quickly grew into a skilled young woman, and while she visits her dad every now and then, she spends most of her time at Camp Half-Blood.

Demigod Abilities: Chlorokinesis: Jess has the ability to manipulate plants. She can make vines sprout from the ground to ensnare her enemies, or make trees swing their branches into monsters. The more she uses this the more fatigued she gets however, and eventually she'll pass out after an extended amount of use.
Green-Speaking: Jess has the rare ability to communicate telepathically with plants. She can speak with plants within a half-mile radius of her position, and use this to gain information on enemy movements, which makes her a killer in Capture the Flag. Unfortunately for her, plants are often not very talkative, and tend to speak rather cryptically.

Personality: Fun, quirky and confident Jayanti, to most people, is fun to be around. She embraces awkward silences like they're her best friend and is often found joking around. She tries to get along with everyone and has dedicated herself to spread joy through everyone she meets. With a bucket-load of confidence Jayanti is not afraid to do some of the most random things absolutely anywhere. Jayanti is carefree and very much an optimist. She believes that almost any problem or problematic situation has some hope in working out and the rest are something to not dwell upon.
Jayanti can be very clumsy and embraces her clumsiness with open arms. She often pokes fun at her own insecurities, she found it was very effective with being teased less in her younger days (because if you find it funny it's going to be hard for others to get you down about it) but she also uses it as a way to cheer up the people around her.
Jayanti is a bit of a slob. Laziness is something that hits her for a small chunk of time before she gets back to being moderately active. Her room, however, is most probably the disgrace of cabin seventeen. She's respectable to keep her junk out of the shared spaces but her room is usually atrocious. Odd smell coming from one of the room's down the hallway? Probably Jayanti's room. Haven't received last week's washing? Probably in Jayanti's room. That mug she drank out of a month ago? Yeah, that's still on the window sill. For some cabin inspections she cleans it quickly but half of it is usually stuffed in the wardrobe or such. She calls it creativity, everyone else calls it messy, not that she minds, the time could be spent in better ways. Jayanti loves food and often jokes food is her life. The three things she'll claim to need in her life is food, sleep and happiness. When she's not doing her duties as cabin leader or the camp's activities she probably is eating, socializing or lazing about, possibly sleeping.
Jayanti is known to be childish but she can actually be rather mature and responsible when she feels she needs to be, she just doesn't see many opportunities that call for it, situation doesn't call for maturity in her eyes as quickly as most people would think it would. Commitment scares Jayanti slightly, she's terrible when it comes to commitment particularly in a relationship and has failed to date someone for over seven months. Though her joyfulness and childishness Jayanti can get annoying to some campers more often that others and has a tendency to walk herself into everyday dangers and threats.
Skills: She has quite the knack for cheering up other people and spreading joy like a disease. She claims to be skilled at eating too, she can devour twice as much as any girl her age and have room for dessert even if she doesn't look it. She's actually quite skilled in the art of baking too.
Biography: Jayanti was raised in Delhi with her father and, for most her life, her stepmother. Jayanti always knew who her mother was growing up and never really held and ill-will toward her. Jayanti was only 3 when her father married Riya, a childhood friend of his, leading to the woman becoming a big part of Jayanti's life. Although she never got the title Riya was always the mother figure in her life.
Growing up Jayanti's Dyslexia and ADHD that comes with being a demigod made school harder and more effort was needed on her part over the other kids. This got on her father's nerves slightly. Don't get me wrong, he was a great father, but he wanted his daughter to do well in everything she did so when most other student's grades were leaps and bounds ahead of hers he wasn't the most pleased father in the world. No matter what they tried, although it helped, it never really got her far enough to match other student's grades in the academic subjects. As she was so behind so many students she was often teased about her low grades and had few friends, that was until she learnt by poking fun at herself not only would the bullying become less dramatically but she would get more friends. By the end of that year she wasn't bullied so much but was the go-to student when you were blue. Some people wouldn't like such attention so quickly especially if it came from teasing themselves by Jayanti loved it and still does today.
It was when her 14th year was dawning upon her the Cyclops came. It was the quick thinking of Riya who, upon seeing the abnormally tall man with one eye, getting too close to Jayanti threw a stick at the Cyclops and dragged Jayanti inside before admitting she was one of the rare humans who could see through the mist, unknowing to them that Riya's gift was Iris' doing.
Only 5 days the small family got an 'anonymous' letter telling them about camp half-blood and that a satyr was set up to meet Jayanti in one week in New York. The family packed up and left on a 'holiday' to America. As Jayanti grew up learning both of Delhi's official primary languages (Hindu and English) there was and has not been a language barrier. She celebrated her 15th on the day she departed with the satyr and left her father and stepmother.
Since then Riya and Akash received their visa and moved to New York to be closer to Jayanti. Although Jayanti's primary place of residence is camp half-blood she owns an small apartment in New York her father insisted on getting her and will leave camp half-blood for a night or 2 every now and again, usually when only the year round campers are at camp. She hasn't been to Olympus but, instead, spends that time in New York with her family.

Personality: Peter is arrogant, there is no two ways about it. However he tries to make sure his arrogance doesn't cripple him socially. He doesn't do so the excess when he knows he is really starting to get on someone's nerves. At the same time he won't ever be ever vulnerable. He hates it and it comes down to his confidence. You want a singing competition? Sure. You want to go running? Sure. You want to talk about your feelings? Peter won't be talking back. It's just not in his nature to open up and whilst some people find that okay, it means he makes 'close' friends very slowly, if at all.
You will also never see Peter floundering, his arrogance can translate into confidence too and even in the most terrifying situations he tries to be as light hearted as possible. He is not fun loving though, he simply tries to be positive and brave, as he feels naturally that anything otherwise is weakness. Peter is easy at making acquaintances and not afraid to fail and me glamorous in defeat, but he hates sore winners and has always despised people who dig incessantly at him. Telling him, unless he opens up, he is not a good person.
Biography: Peter is a mutt in his blood. His family were Dutch born Jews who fled to the UK during the Nazi occupation. However whilst in the UK Peter's grandmother fell in love with an American pilot stationed there and moved back to the US with him after VE-day. In the US the Hasselbaink's were the upper working class. Enough money to live but not enough to supply every want. Peter was born to a nurse, Claudia Hasselbaink, it was only right the God of health fall in love with a woman who epitomized selfless dedication to the wellness of others. The child seemed straight away, in his mother's eyes, to be the child of Apollo, Peter always remembers the days his mother would brush his hair and tell him "Your father had hair just like you." However Claudia never told Peter who his father really was. "He was an athlete, a doctor, a great dancer." These were all things his father was. Never a name or a place. Just adjectives.
Peter struggled at school, he could never sit still, loved to learn but struggled with the fine prints. He was told he had ADHD and dyslexia. Yet he always found solace in the arts. He always had the lead rolls, his band always played for events. He even did a half decent comedy gig once, though he decided that wasn't his forte as the others were. Whilst at school he regularly went on the retreats, regularly did the camps. He was popular but never actually 'fit in'. When at concerts he loved the music, but more so than anyone else, when watching drama he wanted to talk about the quality of it. His 'friends' wanted to laugh at the chubby man talking loudly and the lady who looked fit. He was always unsettled, especially when he seemed to notice things others didn't. He mentioned it to his mother who merely put it down to "That's your father in you." But never explained what that meant.
On his 16th birthday Peter was out with his mother for the usual Italian dinner when the chef assaulted him. Attacked him just in the restaurant. And it was the scariest moment of his life, yet his mother did not panic. She saved him, s a mother should, but in doing so revealed the world behind the mist to Peter. From then on he was filled with questions and not much else. But before anything could be answered his mother bundled him off to a new camp. One he had never heard of before. One with a strange name.

Demigod Abilities: Peter is his father’s son. Made famous in his traits by renaissance romanticists, Peter epitomises the kouros –a beardless athletic youth- in his appearance. Alongside this he shares in his father’s patronage of the arts and an interest in physical pursuits and health. Of course this is only when positive. In anger and spite he also knows that when one’s body fails them, it leaves them entirely incapable.
Salutemkinisis - Much like his father, Peter has the uncanny ability to manipulate health and wellbeing. Be it acting as a medic, studying and manipulating the body to fight disease and set broken bones. However in the reverse of this he is more than capable of creating great plague and illness, though he is fairly new to his powers and so they can act up when he least expects them too. He has always been told to never abuse his powers but sometimes it was fun noticing every time he wanted a week off school, the teachers all happened to come down with a severe flu.
Affinity for the Bow - Since Peter was little he has always been sent off to camp, and at camp they did the whole outdoorsman thing. Whittling, hiking and putting up tents was all part of it. As was archery. Peter has always been a skilled archer, when he first learnt the bow he was quick to pick it up. Local competitions passed and he carried on improving, well beyond the expectation of any of his instructors.
Affinity for the Arts – Peter has always loved the arts; drama, music, singing. And he has always had a skill in them, his hands are deft and he loves the melodies and the beauty in art. He studied them all and they all came easy to him.
