Oscar nodded quickly at the luchadoress as she grabbed the table and the two of them began to haul it towards the doorway, bullets pinging of the front of it and cards whizzing over his shoulder. The makeshift battering ram gradually picked up speed, and as he barreled towards the fortified position the enhanced thug heard the girl next to him shout some foreign insult at the soon to be doomed goons and grinned. "Goin' your way, motherfuckers!" Then, impact.

Oscar swung his arms wildly around the crowd of thugs, laying about him left and right and knocking them to the floor. He managed to get one thug in a headlock, crushing the man's windpipe while his other arm batted away another attacker. Oscar disentangled with the two of them just as more came charging from inside the lounge. Outside, he began to hear an unmistakable sound, one he'd heard many times in his old life: police sirens. "Oi, the cops are here! Everybody leg it for the back!"

There was a heavy iron lamp in front of him - Oscar grabbed it and swung it like a staff, the lightbulb at the end smashing into the face of a running goon. The situation had devolved from a battle to a melee - it seemed half the crowd of muscle was more trying to get out than still put up a fight. The rest, though, remained dedicated - whoever worked at this casino had an excellent hiring pool.

Oscar slammed the lamp into the prone man's face two more times and tossed it away just as another man clubbed him in the back of the head with something. Roaring, the thug turned and kicked low, obliterating the guard's kneecap before grabbing him by the ear and tossing him to the ground. The Thug raised his arm to cover his face as a gun was fired, crying out as the bullet took him in the bicep.

One hand went to the shooter's face in an attempt to gouge out his eyes as the other clumsily ripped the gun away. "Poor fuckin' bastard," he sneered as he pressed the barrel of the handgun up to the screaming man's temple and pulled the trigger.

Then, the Thug was firing all around the room with the appropriated weapon, causing guards to drop left and right, clutching ragged holes in their chests. The criminal tossed the spent gun away and bent down to rip the legs off a nearby chair, which he flailed about with as he fought his way towards the exit. "It's gettin' hot in here, freaks! Time to go!"

Time was of the essence.

Desperation stepped away from the gorgan as she failed to respond quickly enough for his liking, deciding to take matters into his own hands before the situation completely got out of his control. Sprinting over to the bar now that security was per-occupied with the rest of the team, the plague doctor leaped over the bar with a surprising turn of fitness.

The process of creating Molotov cocktails wasn't that hard and soon enough the doctor had a small supply of them in which to use. Lighting the cloth on one of them, the first flaming projectile was lobbed towards the stairway that led up to the front door; Something to keep the police busy while they made their escape out the back. A few more flaming bottles were randomly thrown about the room in order to ensure that the place was going to be going up in flames tonight... or at the least cause enough damage with fire and water to make gathering solid evidence about what happened and who was involved insanely difficult.

Before he leaped over the bar once more, Desperation grabbed a couple of bags located behind the bar; Once clear, a molotov was lobbed against the bar itself in order to make sure that the fire got itself going rather nicely. As the building started to burn, the plague doctor took something of a detour from the path to the exit in order to go through the currently open door that lead to a little side room where a man or woman would normally sit behind a barred window in order to exchange chips for cash or vice versa. The chip taker in question tonight had been a man just out of his teens... currently on the floor in a pool of his own blood due to a bullet wound in his neck, his body still twitching as the last traces of life within him tried to hold on just a few breaths longer.

Removing his heart had been quite easy; Despite the 9mm pistol the boy wielded, he was in no condition to use it and Desperation was rather skilled with his tools as he made the operation happen rather quickly. Before the smoke had gotten the chance to properly start to build up from the fire, the boy's heart was carefully placed in one of the bags that had been brought while the good doctor started to shovel cash into the other bag. A little girl was going to gain a new lease on life because of a poorly aimed shot and if enough of the body was uncovered a message would be sent... As for the cash, considering that they were getting a new lair a bit of spending money to help fix it up would no doubt be welcome.

Once both grim tasks were done, Despration finally made to leave via the backdoor. His choice of outfit aided him here; His mask helped him get through the smoke a lot easier then without it. He didn't say anything as he left to follow the others... there really was nothing to say.

EPPIE JONES
A Stabbing Pain
Fool...

Eppie soon realised that her attacks on a creature that was yet to be identified were perhaps a massive miscalculation. She felt a large mouth open below where her's was latched on and a sharp stabbing pain enter her gut and travel through her body. She wasn't fast enough though and if she realised what the creature was about to do she could have reorganised her organs as to minimise the damage, yet, luck played in her favour this once.

The needle like tongue of the beast travelled through her gut and missed many of her vital organs before expelling itself from the rear of her body. Eppie felt a slight electrical charge with her her limbs and mouth return back into their normal state as she hung there on the barb before being tossed to the side like a toy that a toddler didn't want to play with anymore.

"Ergh..." she exhausted as she laid on the ground, watching the creature retreat into the floor cavities and venture off elsewhere. Carefully Eppie pushed herself up into a seating position against the wall behind her and turned to see the Fox Blade slash through the other half of the body, sending it into an explosion of gore.

Look at yourself. Pathetic. Weak. If you only listened to me, that could have been our kill.

"Maw... Shut up," she whispered, knowing that he was about to start yet another of his demoralising talks. "Eppie is not letting you take over this body."

Eppie heard the silence in her head, knowing that he understood her words, before placing her hand on her stomach. She could feel the warm sensation of blood flow out of her wound, enough to cause a little concern, but not enough to stop her desire for continuing on the hunt. For Eppie she was beginning to enjoy this new challenge.

Warehouse: Byz'zul

In Byz'zul's admittedly somewhat inexpert estimation, what had just occured was something of an overall negative in regards to his well being.

Well, actually what he had thought was more....

That wasn't....good.

Once again, your ability to state the obvious has proven itself to be more powerful then the very fires of hell itsel-

Stuff it.

Ah, you mean like you do every other night wit-

I swear to all the fell gods that I'll throw you at the scary...dragon...thing if you don't shut up.

Speaking of the scary dragon thing (they were all valid words!)....he needed to do something about that didn't he? Two options raced to mind-he could attempt to dodge or simply launch a blast of his own at it, and hope it would disrupt or dissipate it.

Eh. Why not both? If they both failed, he was probably dead anyway. And somehow the LARPer didn't look like he'd be moved by a cry of 'But I'm too handsome to die!'. He was an ingrate, in other words.

Byz'zul raised his hand and tapped into his powers once more, he could feel the temperature of his tattoo's rising even as he did so, but for the moment is was a simple, pleasant warm glow. If the fight went on for too long however, oh, how that could change. As before, once the hellish energy he had tapped into reached his hand, a blast of sprang from it and charged forwards to challenge the dragon.

Byz'zul, as planned, then bravely attempted to find a crate or another convenient bit of cover to hide beyond, even as he twisted out of the path of the dragon.

First creature down, and only minor injuries from his teammates to show for it, partial success. Now though it was time to finish the job, Korean Ally had grabbed Fox Ally and dragged them down a corridor in pursuit of the creature. His combat protocols still held sway, directing him to follow the creature immediately to press the advantage. He skittered past Eppie who was pushing herself up from the floor, blood seeping from a gut wound. Such things were unimportant to the dir--?'[0-. Wait. [Combat Protocols deactivating]

It seemed that his combat protocols were not designed for empathy in mind. He would have to do without them.

Spyder swiveled his optic sensors around the room, for the first time truly seeing what had occurred, rather than acting on programming. He approached Eppie, noticing a slight weakness in her stance.

"Eppie and Maw, would you like assistance in reaching the creature. My chassis will be able to support you, and I imagine it would be faster than walking with your current injury"

He awaited his allies answer, ready to head down the corridor after the Invisible Sister and Fox Blade.

Damn Magic Missile man. Did he even know what he was doing? After all, all he seemed to be doing was just firing blue plasma all over the place. However, it was able to hit his repulsor blasts pretty accurately despite its spastic release. Not bad for a person like him. Not bad at all. But regardless, it didn't change how Cyrax felt about him. Annoying, loud mouthed, he was the kind of person that he despises. He issues a light sigh as he addresses the situation. Looks like the hero has completely forgotten about his presence and is concentrating his full power on the snake person guy. This will be a good chance to strike in hit or two.

Quietly he sneaks up behind him, getting close to him as possible. Then, at the last possible second, he extends his robotic arm and charges up a stronger repulsor beam. He was careful and patient in his aiming, despite the rapid moving around of the hero. Then, with a sudden release, he fires a constant beam of energy right at Magic Missile's back. It could leave a nasty hole in his back if it will indeed hit its target.

Tim stayed behind the group as they chased after the other monster after he saw the mechanical parts of the bisected monster. Designs surfaced in his head as he looked between the exposed machinery, his stun gun and the spiderbot's shot earlier. However, he can't do anything without any tools, Salvage looked around once more and saw his chance in the room that Foxface was thrown into earlier. A janitorial office and he saw a tool box on top of the shelf. Inside, he also saw several bottles of cleaning chemical, ones that were considered too flammable, too acidic or too explosive for public usage along with some that he never saw. It's probably expected from the Pulp's lair. Grabbing all he could, Salvage then moved to the carcass and started to work as quickly as he can. Twisting, pulling and outright tearing things out, Salvage worked on the biomechanical corpse and attached what he could to his stun gun in an attempt on making it larger, angrier and more powerful. Downside, he doubted he would be able to use it much before needing to fix it or worse.

Magic Missile was no fool. Actually, scratch that. M,M as he was affectionatly called by his friends, was a grade a moron. He had learned magic by mistake, using a real tome for a larp. He was a joke of a hero in most aspects. But he had heart and he got a sense of right and wrong. Such a shame then, that Villains did not. The propulsion beam hit him square in the back, pushing him off he feet and hurling him away from the force. For all his years of stupidity, MM was atleast smart enough to wear a protective vest underneath his wizard robes. As such, instead of burning a nasty hole in him, he was merely tossed about with the force of a sledgehammer.

He tumbled and fell, rolled and lay still. Meanwhile, the efforts of everyones favorite snake charmer was enough to avoid total disaster. But as magic met magic, the dragon thing split, then split agin, One of its splinter ”tails” singed the magicians left leg as he danced away from the primary dragon. As it died down however, the two seemed victorius, standing admist rubble and splintered wood and metal from the now wrecked warehouse. Sirens could be heard, this time not going past but towards them.

Situation; Time to flee!
---------

The monster slithered away and Foxblade got up to his feet with a pained groan. He was pretty sure he sprained something. Looking to his blade he noted it was broken. ”Shit” he mumbled as he tried to get up on unsteady legs. His suit was torn, several gashes in his legs bled, the result of shrapnel. He staggered onto one knee, watching the others. He commended the machine. ”Good shot Spyder” His eyes found the Korean lady who had showed tremendous capability in the face of danger. She was reliable, even if her leaders were sworn enemies to his country. Not that he was ever the nationalist type. He loved american soap operas way to much for that. That's when she picked him up like he was nothing and dragged him with her. Actually, it was less dragging and more pushing him infront of her.

AS they made it into the Control room, Fox decided he hated this Pulp person. Infront of them was a pillar of pulsing flesh and machinery. A giant, robotic eyes stared down at him.

”Intruuuuuuder” A voice spoke and the pillar of flesh shedded pieces of meat that immedietly rose up to reveal more of the beings from before. These were a bit smaller, but their numbers made up for it. Fox brandished his broken katan infront of him, tearing himself from the Korean ladys grip as to better control his actions. As the others showed up he spoke.

”I hope you have more shots ready Bot-san. I think that big red eye is its weak spot. Me and the others will buy you and Scavenger the time to shoot it dead”

Situation; Mook Battle. Kill the creepy crawlies and keep them from getting to Spyder as he and Scavenger blast the big eye to pieces”
-----------

The casino was not on fire, courtesy of desperation who clearly lived up to his moniker. With the goons being handed their asses, liver and hearts to them on a silverplatter made out of pure ultraviolence, the group made its way onwards trough the vip area. Meteora managed to snag a few bills, mainly fiftys and hundreds, from a poker table as they went. Soon enough the group had battled all the way to the door that was promptly smashed trough, using a thug as a battering ram. As she peered out however, she saw something approaching. Something worse then the police. A cape, a flying cape.

”Shit.” She mumbled. ”I recognice that woman” And she did. It was Laila Lawfull. Part of the DnD Crew turned superheroes like Magic Missile, she was far more capable. And she along with a small army of cops was more then a little problem. She was approaching the front however, apperently unaware of the the little contingent of villains making their way trough the back entrence.

”Lets hurry up!” Meteora motioned for the others as she began to sprint towards the nearest ally. They had to get as far away as possible and hope the Lair group got that teleporter ready to beam them in, or this would get ugly real fast.

Situation: You are heading away from the crimescene. Your technically out of combat. But keep your head low.

With heart and money in tow, Desperation didn't say anything to his peers as he started to head off into the night. He wasn't exactly sure where the lair itself was supposed to be or how they were meant to get there, but his current plan for the evening was to make his way back to his refrigerated van and get out of the area. After a moment of consideration, the plague doctor sighed as he beckoned those who had worked with him on the job to follow his lead. One meat van leaving the area drew a lot less attention then if they tried to leave on foot after all.

Third Invincible Sister took the towering pillar, a horrific fusion of flesh and steel, then sneered. "Ha! Only an American could make something so monstrous! It looks like your decadent Washington Monument, which is nothing compared to the superior Tower of the Juche Idea!"

Even as she spoke, more of the eye-covered organisms emerged and pressed the attack. It was clear that Third Invincible Sister couldn't do much lasting damage to the pillar of flesh with only her bare hands, but she could at least keep these things off the backs of her new comrades.

She jumped up in the air, Air Jordans possibly giving her enough hang time to grab one of the pieces of machinery that bulged out of the pillar and tear it free, a irregularly shaped chunk of metal about the size of a chair. Raising it above her head, she began to methodically smash it down on the advancing blob creatures like some demented game of whack-a-mole. Earlier, she had observed that these things had some sort of mechanical core- she reasoned that if she completely crushed the creature's body the core inside it would also be irreparably damaged. "Feel the wrath of the People's Republic!" she cried as she waded into battle.

EPPIE JONES
The Beast Within
Eppie looked at the robot with an inquisitive expression. A robot of all things was offering it's help for supporting her injured body.

"We Don't Need Your Hel.." Eppie's mouth suddenly mouthed off before she bit down on her teeth, sealing the words that Maw had suddenly released.

"Shut up!" she spoke through her clenched teeth. "Eppie is the host and you are Eppie's organic abilities! You do not have a say in this!"

The sudden out bust of Maw made Eppie realise how much strength she had lost through this injury. Holding back the creature within her was a hard enough ordeal during the best of times, but to do so while injured was another issue entirely, especially when her insides flowed with rage as she could feel his bloodlust continually grow. If she was to continue fighting in this state, she might end up turning on her team members without realising and slaughter them in the crossfire.

Eppie raised her hand and placed it on the droid's leg, knowing that she would need it's support to help end the mission. "I don't believe continuing in this state will benefit our cause. You need to help the other two destroy the beast so we can capture this lair."

With that, she gave a gentle nudge, indicating that there was more important things to attend to than helping an already injured ally to a battle that she couldn't exactly help in. Eppie turned to see Tim attending to the fallen creature, prodding it with instruments and cutting it open.

Tim stood up carrying his bloody and improved stun gun. The gun looked extra sinister with the monster's blood dripping from its new parts as Tim hurried to where the others were battling the other monster. He had almost waste a shot upon seeing Eppie's monstrous form but managed to realize that she was his ally after seeing her lack of violence against the spiderbot even if he still kept a wary eye at her. Settling a distance away from her and putting Spyder inbetween, Salvage fiddled with his gun for a bit before aiming. He had overheard Foxblade saying the monster's weakspot and attempted to aim there. However, Third Sister's close vicinity with the monster in her fight against it made it hard for Salvage to aim correctly. Not to mention that Tim was not a trained marksman, thus he might shoot Third Invincible Sister anyway as long as she remained near the monster due to mistiming. Salvage wasn't sure if he should yell at her to get out of the way or just wait and hope she'd leap away and gave him a clear shot. Nevertheless, if he saw and opportunity, Salvage would attempt to shoot the monster with an electrical blast from his gun.

It seemed his help was not required. Hopefully Eppie and Maw would not run into any problems.

"Very well, the problem will be dealt with shortly"

He headed down the path his other teammates had taken, emiting a slight mechanical sound as his servos increased to max speed. He entered the control room to see a large piller of flesh and machinery rise up and create more of the strange creatures. The Korean Sister waded in soon after that as Fox-Ally suggested aiming at the creatures robotic eye. It seemed they had it under control for the moment but if the pillar could creature more of its spawn then they would most likely be overrun. He had to act fast.

Spyder allowed himself a moment of thought as his legs locked in place and his turret charged up to its highest damage setting with a slight humming sound. This inventer, Pulp, who had made these creatures had some simularities to his own creator. Spyder wondered if they were intelligent and shackled to his control, or just had very simple brains. He had no wish to destroy them, but they had attacked his allies and showed no signs of reason, so steps had to be taken.

[Turret Ready]

Either way, its time to help his team. Fire

The golden glowing shot errupted from the cannon, heading straight for the creatures eye.

Eric Belmont

Pan had slipped past the chaos, the mexican and plague doctor not far behind. However before Pan could escape from the scene he saw the heroic cape in the distance, and Eric's fear brought him back. Eric couldn't really tell what was happening, behind him was a building full of people he killed, past that were cops that would want to throw Eric in jail, and a superhero of some sort.

The doctor ran down the street a ways before stopping and beckoned the others, Eric didn't really know what else to do but follow. As he neared the man Eric asked, "What do we do now? I'm not too keen on staying around here and waiting for the cops to catch us." Regardless of the strange man's response, or even at a lack of one Eric was going to follow along, because of course he had no idea what he was really doing and Pan wasn't being any help, something about being winded whatever that meant.

Warehouse: Byz'zul

Byz'zul turned to regard his new-found...well, ally might be a strong word. But considering they'd both just shared a magical game of "beat up the idiot"...partner in crime might be adequate.

The time for introductions, however, was rapidly drawing to a close. The sirens weren't getting any further away-and frankly, he was way too pretty to do well in jail. Be hell on earth trying to get conditioner in there for one thing. Second, his dating prospects were already limited to people who found horns sexy.

Something told him the general population weren't to differ from that norm.

"Well uh. Be seein' ya around huh? I'd introduce myself but...well, police. If one us gets caught, well...I don't know if you buy into that whole honor amongst thieves spiel. Probably best if we split ya know? Well....Bye!"

With that Byz'zul scrambled towards his car, slammed the door, and prayed to whatever dark god happened to listening that the police force ran into at least half as much traffic as he did.

...Maybe twice as stubborn though. That'd be nice.

CASINO
----------------------------------------------
Fire spread across fake wood and real wood alike. As Meteora left the gambling joint behind them, she shouldered her way into the car, slamming the door shut after her. She shoved Desperation aside , taking the wheel. ”Sorry Mang. I'm driving.” The teen said with panic in her voice as she floored it. The car jerked and started, then stoppes. ”YOU DRIVE STICK?!” She stared. ”Dammit. Ok you drive” she climped back into the car, opening the back door to peak at the cape that now descended onto the burning wreckage of the gambling joint. She bit her lip as she saw the Gorgon turn to face down the Cape. A look of hubris on her face. No doubt drunk on blood. But with Thug, Eric and the rest in the car, Meteoress urged them to drive as far away as possible.

”Fuck that. If she wanna stare down a cape, that's her funeral. Go! I aint tussling with that chica. She bounced my head against a lamp post when I crossed the border” She said in the way of explanation as the car chugged along. They left the mayhem behind, a little more notorius, a little richer and a snakecreature less. That's when a business card poofed up in the back of the car with a note attached to it. Meteoress took it and looked it over.

”Apperently we got a A for effort?” The girl said with a look of slight hesitation. She passed it to their driver. She didn't say anything for the rest of their journey. She didn't have to. They had survived. This was the start of something BIG. That's when everything went blindingly white.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

LAIR
----------------------------------------------
The Blobs swarmed them at all sides. With a broken blade, Fox-Blade was less then usefull. HE hacked and slashes at them, trying to his best to stem the tide of biomechanical monsters that advanced on hims and his partners in crime. He was in slight awe of the Korean who smashed their foes with might and clear, unbridled fury. It rekindled his fighting spirit and he threw himself back into the thick of it. He stabbed and hacked, slashed nad kicked. Using all his training to try and muster some sort of proper defense.

Meanwhile, Salvage blasted the creatures with his newly upgraded gun, the ray was far bigger and odly colored. Instead of stunning, it hit one of the things nad made it explode in a shower of gore. It appears his half-assed attempt at a more powerfull stun gun had landed him quite the boon in the form of deathray of sorts. It only lasted a few shots however, before it melted and burned his hand. The damage was tone however, between the deathray and the rampaging korean, Spyder had the perfect shot.

The eye as it were, shattered upon the first real hit, and with it a painfull screech rang out, causing no small discomfort. Then it exploded, showering everyone present in gore nad scrap metal. Fox-Blade had to dive out of the way as a glass shard the size of his head hurdled by. As the chaos died down however, he got up on shaky legs. ”We... win?” He asked tentively. His entire body hurt, but he remembered that they were in a teleport and communications room. He limped over to a console and hit the biggest button he could find. As soon as he did, Broker Materialized before them.

”Ah. I see you got the old place running. Now. This is just the upper levels of the place, and even that is mostly sealed” The demon appeared compltely unphazed by it all. He polished his sharp, talon like nails as he spoke. ”You did good I gotta say. SO did the others. Speaking of which.” He strolled over to the console, shoving Fox-Blade aside. ”lets see if that old thing still work.” He punched in some sort of sequence and one of the screens showing a old hangar space suddnely lit up. A car came crashing out of nowhere Then another.

”There. That's all of you. Good. I made a worthwhile investment” He mused and

-----------------------------------------------------------------

WAREHOUSE; EMERALD SORCERER
----------------------------------------------
As Lucas, aka Emeral Sorcerer, drove a woman suffely materialized next to him in the car. IT was blueberry. She grabbed the wheel as to keep him from steering of the road in sheer surprise of his presence. ”Hello Emerald Sorcer. Good job on the goofer of a cape back there. Albeit you left Emo Bot on his own. He is currently suffering the consequences of Pro-Human, anti-robot police brutality.” She stopped and fished out a card with a note attached to it.

”Anyways. Don't freak but we're about to teleport.” She smiled at him, and poofed once more. Leaving his car smelling of blueberry and sulfur before a blinding white light swallowed everything.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

LAIR; Everyone
----------------------------------------------

The cars both materialize inside a large hangar sized building. Dust and debris is everywhere around them. Meanwhile, the Lair group can watch trough the security cameras that the others have arrived in a rather spectacular fashion. Not only does the transporter allow the group to travel most anywhere it seems. Apperently It can also transport vehicles.

Brief investigation shows that it takes up a lot of energy to move two cars in such a brief time. That and you have no idea how broker did what he did, he seemed used to the technology, something you are not. The parts of the base not closer off consist of a kitchen, very spartan and sparse living quarters, a workshop that seems to be in dire need of cleanup up and rebuilding, a massive hangar and the control room you are currently standing in.

Conscious has stayed back while the others fought. Her small dagger being lost in one of the monsters the second she tried to help. And if anything was the case she was to replied by the main creature to try anything more than watch, from a distance. Standing closer to Eppie and Maw but exploring the entrance where they came from, examining control panels, lights anything else she could find along the way. After an explosion or two was heard racketing throughout the place she walked slowly towards the source. If anything she could run away and save herself from any death that could have befallen the people who went in. She wasn't strong in hand to hand, if anything she would be less useful and get in the way, yet she wouldn't say that. Being evil, letting others do the hard work was going to be her strategy and how she could keep herself on top.

She walked in after The broker showed up. Missing getting hit with the explosion of guts and metal that had befallen the fighters. Looking about as clean as she had coming in, with the hint of group sticking on her legs from walking and earlier explosions. Walking up to the console she fiddle about, finding security cameras and watching a rather funny looking entrance as two cars zapped out of nowhere into what she assumed was the hanger. She would enjoy playing around i this place. Set up a nice area to just watch, control. She liked the cameras. She could see the necessities were taken care of. Kitchen, living quarters, this wonderfully slime covered control room, and something that looked more train wreck less workshop.

She didn't seem to talk rather just stare around smirking at the destruction. No her part to help them succeed would come later down the line, like convincing cops that they weren't the villains they are looking for. She did a mock hand wave to the group before fixing her hair bow. The triuphant smirk lurking on her face as she watched them get up. No remorse for not helping in her actions or eyes. Feeling it off place by the explosions in which she actually helped cause. This would be a fun group, she could already tell.

A part of Desperation felt bad about leaving some of his peers behind as what few had bothered to follow him made their escape in his meat van; Another part was consumed by a cold rage at how those idiots had ruined an otherwise perfect escape by either running off on their own or turning around and fighting the response teams that had shown up for shits and giggles. His earlier opinion that the gorgan woman was sane was completely shattered at the mess that her turning around and fighting was no doubt going to cause.

Reclaiming control of his van due largely to the fact that it was stick, Thule couldn't help but smile somewhat under the mask as he answered "You would be surprised at how many car thieves are discouraged because of that." playfully as he put the keys in the ignition and started to drive away, waiting just long enough to allow card man to hop in the back before doing so. It wasn't a high speed chase either; Desperation made sure to stay to the speed limit in order to avoid attention.

Of course that became something of a mute point when they were suddenly engulfed in a bright light before appearing in what appeared to be some kind of hanger. Hitting the breaks and bringing the van to a stop, Desperation carefully looked around for a moment before turning the van off. Reaching for the bag that contained a human heart, he glanced up at the Mexican woman that had tried to take his steering wheel. In a voice that was surprisingly cold, he simply said "I need to put this in the back while its still in good condition. Go on ahead and tell the others that we've still got work to do tonight; Everyone in our group who isn't here knew that we were planning to set ourselves up in the Pulps old base... that information cannot get out."

With his grim forecast for the rest of the evening given, Desperation hooped out of the front of the van and walked around to the back of it, ignoring those around him as he opened the doors and went inside. He needed to get this heart in the freezer as soon as possible after all.

Wiping blood and pus and things that she chose not to think about out of her eyes, Third Invincible Sister finally managed to see well enough to realize that they had won. "Yes! Well done indeed, comrades!" she cheered jubilantly. "Especially you, Robotic Little Brother!" she said while giving Spyder the same kind of affectionate pat you might give a well-behaved cat. Everyone else earned a hearty thump on the back and a wide, heartfelt grin.

The others arrived in a sudden flash, in their vehicles even. She took it all in stride, this obviously wasn't a normal group. Besides, her heart was still jackhammering after the fight, seeing a few more "friendly" faces put her slightly more at ease. "Welcome to our new base, comrades!" she boomed as loudly as her petite frame would allow. "From here, we shall plan our conquests, prepare for our inevitable victories! This place is already beginning to feel like home! Just needs a little decoration!" Still riding the post-battle high, she scooped up a handful of the blood and viscera that now covered the floor, then ran over to a relatively clear patch of the wall. Taking special cautions, as a blood-covered fist isn't quite a No. 2 brush, she painted a revolutionary slogan on the wall. After a moment, Third Invincible Sister stepped back to admire her work, the words "South Korea is not very good" in careful English. "There! Now everyone will know our opinions on how good South Korea is! In fact we might blaaaaaarrrrrrgh"

Third Invincible Sister's screed was interrupted by a sudden and incredible wave- no, tsunami- of nausea, so intense she immediately doubled over and began to vomit. In her blood, the marrow of her bones, deep in the tissue of her organs, something strange and unanticipated was happening.

The North Korean scientists who had experimented on the Gang sisters had been unsure of the best way to give someone superhuman strength. Eventually they had settled on a compromise of various ideas- crude nanobots, cybernetic implants, chemical and radiological injections, exposure to magical artifacts. Somehow all of these things had combined with positive if underwhelming results. However, the unprecedented massive adrenaline spike from the battle with Pulp's creations (easily the most serious fight of Min-Seo's fledgling career) had convinced these enhancements that they hadn't done a good enough job. Indeed, the stress of the battle had kicked her enhancements into overdrive, finally forcing their functionality up another level.

However, this was not immediately apparent to anyone without a microscope or Min-Seo's medical records. Instead everyone else was treated to the awkward scene of Third Invincible Sister thrashing around in a painful seizure, scored by the sounds of cracking bones, stretching skin, and tearing cloth.

Finally after a minute or two, the spasms and pain subsided. Slowly, unsteadily, Third Invincible Sister stood back up. She seemed a little dizzy, a little off-balance. For good reason- anyone keeping track could see she was now about six inches taller. Among other changes. A moment ago, Third Invincible Sister had looked like the "before" picture on an advertisement for a gym membership. Now she more closely resembled the "after".

"Ha!" she laughed once air had found her lungs again and she had a moment to look over her new frame. "A victory for science as well as armed might! Let us build a fairyland for the people by dint of science! Should the enemy dare to invade our country, annihilate them to the last man so that none of them will survive to sign the instrument of surrender! All glory to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, to the Eternal Sun of Songun!"

Then the toll of her transformation began to hit her, and she doubled over holding her stomach again. "Damn, I'm so hungry! And realistically speaking I probably need new clothes now!" she groaned, for once forgetting to spout a slogan or prepared speech.

EPPIE JONES
Inner Turmoil
Eppie wandered around the newly acquired base in her injured state, trying hard to keep out of the sight of the others. Her body slid along the walls leaving a slight blood trail from the wound in her abdomen. She paused for a moment, peering into the control room where the Third Invincible Sister was thrashing about with the uneasy sound of bones cracking before she stopped and began to stand back up. Eppie somewhat noticed an ever so slight change to her body, she seemed more muscular and taller, but the sight was something she dismissed. She hadn't known the sister for long enough to know the ins and outs of her appearance, instead she just turned away and continued on.

The girl was on a mission, an important one at that. She had remembered that one of those that went off to the Casino had been a Doctor and she was in need of some assistance from him. The wounds to her body would take too long to heal naturally and she needed to be ready for the next fight as soon as possible.

As she entered the hanger area Eppie noticed a large Meat Van. A peculiar sight, but one that caught her attention none the less. She saw the good doctor step into the back of the van, carrying something in his hand.

"Hey..." Eppie called out in a soft tone. She was surprised at how weak her call for help was, but it wasn't expected thanks to the use of her ability and the injury she sustained.

Done it this time haven't you...

Your lack of obedience is what lead Eppie here.

So you didn't want Maw to kill that creature? Is that what Eppie are saying?

The inner thoughts between Maw and Eppie continued on as she collapsed to the ground on her knees only a few meters away from the Van. She sat there in silence staring at the wheels of the vehicle, focusing on the argument going on inside her head as her wound seeped blood ever so slowly.

That's it... Fight amoungst yourselves. Break that bond between you two so that I can finally have what is rightfully mine!
