holy crap, this has only been up a day and already at SEVEN PAGES?! 'aaactivity!'
if you haven't already gotten over-loaded I might consider joining... Tommorrow, since it's 3am right now, and I can't promise that I wouldn't come up with something weird to play :P

Mostly just side talk, but we've been getting members both new and old.
And its always open! Step right up! And weird is good!
I'm not really sure if I should put any real character bios here, since all the characters here are A: many, and B: established in the canon of their multiverse. Further information can be provided on request. And I hope I'm not trying to take too much on here.
Organization Sheet [-] Name: Army of the Nexus Universe of Origin: Multiversal, originally from the Nexus multiverse convergence. Objectives: Mixed, but primarily the defeat of the Reign of Chaos. Other objectives depend on individual leaders of the various groups. Members: Protoss: Highlord Alarak of the Tal'Darim, (agreed upon leader)
Protoss: Hierarch Artanis of the Dalaam Protoss, plus Khalai, Nerazim, and Purifiers, with their respective characters. (Limited strength since the Golden Armada's defeat against the Reign of Chaos)
Terrans: Commander James Raynor, commanding Terran Dominion forces.
Grand Alliance: Multiple races, Nexus forces under the command of Jaina Proudmoore and supported by Muradin Bronzebeard and Falstad Wildhammer of the Dwarves, and Tyrande Whisperwind of the Night Elves, plus other supporting characters.
Horde: Multiple Races, not answering to a unified leader before Highlord Alarak. Includes the Lich King with the Undead Scourge, Sylvanas Windrunner with the Foresaken, and Thrall with the Orcish Horde.
Forces of the High Heavens: Led by the Angiras Council of Imperius, Tyrael, Auriel, Malthael, and Itherael. Supported by the five Nephalem.
Capabilities: Each of the factions of the Nexus has sometimes widely differing abilities. The Protoss and Terrans from the Koprulu use technology and psionic powered abilities, including Protoss Warp technology and the Terran Ghost Program. They are arguably the most powerful members of the Army of the Nexus, however some of their forces are absent or weakened by previous clashes with the Reign of Chaos or the need to defend their territory. The bulk of the Dalaam's Golden Armada in particular has been destroyed, and is largely reduced to the forces assigned to the Spear of Adun and the Purifier command ship Cybros. Highlord Alarak managed to keep his Death Fleet out of the way of the Reign of Chaos, and kept it intact. The Dominion forces assigned to the Army of the Nexus are a small fraction of total Dominion strength, the vast majority having gone turtle in the defense of Korhal. This is however, something that Commander Raynor is used to dealing with from his guerrilla war against the Dominion.
The Grand Alliance and the Horde both use more primitive, ground and atmospheric based technology, however their magical powers equal and sometimes far exceed the psionic powers of the Protoss. Equipped with Terran or Protoss variants of their typical equipment, and supported by their mages, they represent almost half of the AoN's ground power.
The Angiris Council and their angels represent a unique asset for the AoN, possessing great divine powers, however this power being channeled into their weapons and very essence. They are powerful fighters who can do battle anywhere, even in the vacuum of space, and are perhaps the best infantry...for their weapons and manner of fighting is in fact infantry in nature, if they do possess the capabilities of airborne craft...in the AoN. However, they are limited in sheer firepower and durability, and require support from the rest of the AoN to fight a reasonably prepared enemy to full effect. Their primary role is that of a fast attack/response force, meant for dashing in and out with truly devastating effect, and their maneuverability is even further enhanced when combined with the Protoss warp capabilities.
The Raven Lord of Raven Court in the Nexus brings with him some further undefined powers, however it is known that he can disrupt some technologies, is a master of summoning, and can reduce the capabilities of armor to nil for a time. He also has an inferiority complex, and may be inclined to ignore orders if he feels like it.

Universe Sheet [-] Name: Nexus Scale: Multiverse maelstrom Setting: Highly varied, and killing things. History: Long, can be provided upon request, would prefer to not to though. Currently not included because I'm in a hurry. Power Scaling: Very little. All magics, divine powers, and psionics are compatible with each other. All sources of power that are unavailable are...well...unavailable. The Raven Lord's power is limited to only what he has shown possible...namely, summoning minions from structures he has infused with his power, and disrupting material composition so that it either provides no defense, or does not survive being shot from a cannon. Protoss Warp Network limited to only what they construct, or what is provided by their ships and the Spear of Adun.
