She calmed slightly, her eyes still shut and her body still tense. The pup was continuously licking her palm and hand, little body warming as the heat from the water begins to aid her.

"That might make things harder for us, Werewolves aren't many nowadays. Those that are around and being held are going to want to stay, to form a pack and I'm not sure if your wiling to bare with that. I'm an Alpha, other wolves will come and challenge me, the ones that had this little one might follow her scent and find us in the end. I just- I can't just abandon her-she's warm now, let's get her out." Enna states faintly, pulling away and standing, the pup cradled to her chest.

She moved to the cabinet, retrieving the towels and bundling the pup in them, she chuffed softly and snuggled further into the warmth. Enna felt tired now, heavy-eyed and empty, reaching their bed she placed the pup down and easily skips under the sheets. James and Jason remained silent as Enna curled onto her side and instantly fell asleep. @SomeoneSomewere

He sighed softly, stroking her back slightly. He leaned his head against hers, just holding her against his body. He spoke softly," even if we just free them from their captors and leave them to create their own pack, just to get them away from being tortured." He gazed at the pup in her hands, before shaking his head slightly," then we protect her. I wont let anyone get close to her now. She needs us. and we will do whatever we can for her." He released her as she stood, standing and stepping back.

He watched Enna as she gently and carefully handled the pup, stepping out of the bathroom with the two of them. HE watched her collapsing on the bed, letting out a small sigh. He crawled up onto the bed behind her, not getting under the covers to provide some separation from his warmth and assuring that she doesn't get too hot. He wrapped his arm over her waist, a constant presence, just to provide comfort while she slept. He wanted to be there immediately if she started dreaming badly. He gently pressed his lips to her head before resting his head down. He wasn't tired, but he would happily stay here with her to help her. @Arista

A fee hours passed with Enna merely flipping over until her head was tucked under Adrian's chin. The pup stirred and slowly peeked her head out from her nest, her eyes clear and curious as they scan the room. She chirps softly in question and slowly emerges from the towels, white-gray fur puffy and sticking out every which way. She sat on her haunches and slowly stretched out her form, her nose scenting the air as a mix of different scents filled the room.

"She's up." A voice stated, ice-blue eyes focused instantly on it, ears pinning back and muscles tensing. Blinking she found two males sitting together on a couch, her head tilts in curiosity as she scents the air once more. She chirps softly and shifts until she's on her paws once more, she wants to find the wolf who bathed her. She pauses at the edge of the soft object she was on as she noticed just how far off the ground she was, she whined softly and backed away.

"Here you go little one. You must be hungry." Another voice offered softl, she blinked and lifted her head. One of the male's had risen and was holding a plate out, sniffing it and barking happily at the smell. She sits back on her haunches and waits for it to be placed down, when it is she attacks it with vigor.

She doesn't even realize she's absently backed up into something warm until that something chuffs softly and instantly draws her attention away from the food. The person smells like mint and something else, she yips softly and licks her muzzle to clear away the lingering smell of chicken. She doesn't get a response and she flicks her tail in silent acceptance, it was a warning to slow down on eating so fast. She focused back on her plate and ate slower this time, the even breathing of the one that had gently scolded her helping her relax.

She didn't even realize when she fell asleep again with her face on the plate. @SomeoneSomewere

A small smile formed on his face as she twisted to be tucked under his chin. He had lifted his arm briefly as she moved before resting it back down gently. His fingers lightly brushed against her, before he closed his eyes. He might as well try to get a small amount of sleep. Before too long he had drifted off, but his sleep was light, anything could wake him.

Including a moving pup. His eyes opened slightly, looking at the twins as one mentioned the pups wakefulness. He moved his head slightly, looking at the pup. He didn't dare move too much, he didn't want to risk En waking up by him moving. His eyes watched the young pup with her food, a small smile forming at the vigor of the pup to practically inhale the food offered to her. He was slightly startled at the chuff that came from Enna, not expecting the sound, having thought she was asleep. But it didn't surprise him too much for her to have awoken. He placed a soft kiss once again on her head, watching the pup.

A small snort of humor left him, looking at the now asleep pup, laying in the food offered. Slowly and carefully sitting up, he attempted to move the plate out from underneath the sleeping body, not wanting to awaken her. @Arista

Enna shifts and sorts when a furry head us rubbed against her chin. When a soft yip meets her ears, the werewolf opens her eyes and finds the pup sitting before her. Leaning back against the warmth before sitting up slowly and picking the pup up. What your name? Enna asks softly, easily transitioning to wolf language. The pup's ears flick up and her white head tilts in curiosity.

I...don't have a name Is what meets her question, Enna blinks and parts her lips to speak. The pup is young and had more then likely escaped from somewhere, the question was where and how.

"She's young and says she doesn't know her name. What do we...do?" She sounds hesitant and she is, James and Jason rise and move until they stand before the pair.

"We can investigate and see what we caneed find, you shouldn't be moving around." The eldest twin offered as the youngest slipped on a coat, Enna bristled and snapped her head up with her lips parted.

"Well be back soon. We have a lock on her scent, take care." Both offered as they slipped out of the room, the pup settling into the crook of Enna's arm.

She was soon asleep, Enna watching the rise as fall of her little body. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian shook his head at the small pup, a small smile visible on his face. His attempt to let the pup sleep while moving the plate had not worked, and the pup had returned to waking up En. While they spoke he turned his head, looking slowly around the room. Over the course of this year, his world had changed so drastically. He never expected to find himself in this situation, with people that he cared deeply for, on the run from the headmaster of his school.

Hearing Enna’s voice, he turned his head back to her, frowning slightly at her statement. The poor pup didn’t know her own name? It flabbergasted him that anyone could be so intentionally cruel. He did his best to keep people safe from harm. He looked at Jason and James as they began to leave, offering a quick,” be safe guys”, as they walked out the door.

He looked at the now sleeping pup, letting out a small sigh he gently pet her fur, before looking at Enna. He spoke again, his voice low and quiet” They are right, you need your rest. Another thing we can do, is we shouldn’t leave her any longer without a name. I’m not great at names though, when I was much younger I had a goldfish that was gold in color and I named him goldy. I got another that was silver in color, and I named that one shiny. So my suggestions might end up really dumb.”

His name suggestions had a surprised snort leaving her lips, her head shaking once in amusement before her focus settled on the pup once more. Her fur was white but with very intermingled within, her eyes were blue-green with flecks of gold. Frowning in thought Enna allowed the small pup to settle along her stomach, fingers trailing through fur that felt soft and unknotted.

"How about...Athena?" She offers into the silence, eyes feeling heavy as she watches the rise and fall of a small chest. It's a name she remembers hearing from the stories her grandmother used to tell her, the Goddess of war it meant and it seemed to suit this courageous pup. Sleep was the last thing she wanted but her body had other ideas, even as she tried to keep her eyes open she found it nearly impossible. Enna was fast asleep moments later with her head tipped slightly back and her body curled protectively around the pup.

He chuckled softly at her snort, his smile broadening. His fingers gently ran up Enna’s arm, before gently brushing over the small wolf, and returning back up. He absentmindedly kept up this pattern as she thought about a name.

“Athena? Perfect... Little Athena.” The name fit well, he would have never gotten anywhere close to that name. He relaxed into the bed as he felt sleep forcing Enna down, draping his arm across them both. He wouldn’t sleep, not yet, not until the twins returned, he couldn’t risk being awoken from sleep to another attack. He studied the wall with a blank face, waiting for something else to happen.

Jason and James returned not too long after, faces drawn and eyes blinking furiously to remain open. Entering the room silently both automatically tune in to the scents are heartbeats within, trying to soothe the strangeness away. Jason exhaled softly before beginning to strip, James' head tilted when he noticed Adrian's heartbeat although slow it wasn't from being asleep.

"I still think we should've separated to see if we really were being followed." Jason heard James mutter, his head whipping up with his teeth bared. Because that was what it was, the feeling of eyes on them as well as a sense of forbidding.

"The hell we should've. We can't defend ourselves right now and you know it." His words were hissed and sharp, James blinked once at him before dropping his head a bit. With a huff Jason reached forward, arms wrapping around broad shoulders. Right now wasn't the time to lash out at one another, they needed to be united and trust that they had the others back if something happened. "We need to stay together and rest to recuperate." He added softly before pulling away, James nodded once before reaching for his own clothes. Both could tell that Adrian was awake, but neither really made a move to tell him about their suspicions or that they hadn't been able to find where the pup had come from. Once both were down to their boxers rid they move towards their own bed, curling up together and immediately falling asleep.

They needed to leave this town as soon as they could. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian stiffened, hearing the footsteps outside the door, ready to leap from the bed, allowing for the very beginning phases of his shift to start. He clamped down on everything upon realizing it was the twins, stopping the start of his shift and reversing. Taking a deep breath, he shut his eyes tightly. This experience had left him so on edge, he only could hope housekeeping didn’t mistakenly come into the room while they were all in there. At this point, he had an attack first ask later mentality.

He listened to the twins talk, a mild frown coming over his face. If they were followed, they could’ve been followed back to the hotel. He glanced towards the window briefly, insuring the curtains were close completely, in time to see the twins crawling into bed. They needed their sleep, and so he would let them. He resumed his previous position, looking at the wall like it was the most interesting thing, as his mind drifted off elsewhere.

He tried to stay awake until someone else awoke; however, at some point exhaustion wins over his hyper vigilance. The wave of exhaustion hit him like a bag of bricks, and he was asleep in a blink, his body curled around Esme and so Athena, arm draped protectively over the two of them.

Enna awoke to restless wiggling and the sense that something was wrong, her eyes slowly opening to be met with muted sunlight. Swallowing she glances down to the wiggling mass of a wolf pup, only to find blue-green eyes already focused on her. Athena settles when she realizes she has Enna's attention, chuffing softly before falling silent. It's then that the elder werewolf can hear a stomach grumble, her hold releases and she exhales softly. The wall of warmth she feels along her back is slightly uncomfortable, but it means Adrian so she doesn't immediately pull away.

Silence reins for a few moments before Enna slowly slips out of bed, making sure not to jostle Adrian awake. Finding food is easy and soon both she and Athena are happily eating, both content not to break the temporary peace they have. Until she hears movement from the twins bed twenty minutes later, her gaze lifting from the table that she'd been absently staring at. It's nearly impossible to tell them apart but she knows how, James is watching her with half-lidded eyes. "We felt eyes on us since yesterday." Are his soft words, sleep rumpled hair making him look younger. She forgets sometimes that they aren't even adults yet, that she met them only a handful of times as a child and felt and instant bond with them.

"We'll be leaving by lunch if we can help it. The longer we stay here the more suspicious we'll be seen as." Her words are just as soft in the silent air, her eyes don't miss how James cuddles closer to Jason. Athena has settled on her lap once her food had finished, which led to their next small dilemma. While she looked like a husky pup like most Weres they aged quickly, carrying Athena wouldn't be hard but it would be easier if she were human. Bending forward a bit until her nose was against soft fur, she exhaled once before speaking up quietly. "Do uou think you can shift for me? It isn't healthy for you to remain a wolf for so long." Though her young age may have kept the feralness at bay it's still a risk, they had time to coach her if they needed to. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian’s only response to Enna getting up was a slight grumble, shifting his position slightly. This was probably the longest time he’s recently slept without being awoken from a nightmare, pure exhaustion definitely being apart of it.

As speaking reached his sensitive ears, he groaned softly, moving around before stretching out completely, several joints popping in the process. Yawning, he pried his eyes open, blinking rapidly as he slowly pushes himself into an upright position. He looked at Enna as she spoke, shaking his head slightly as if to shake out the cobwebs. He spoke, his voice gruff from sleep,” where would we go? No where is truly safe, not anymore, especially if we are being followed.”

He stood up, stretching once more before grabbing a cup off of one of the tables and getting water. Chugging it down, he let out a breath of relief, he sat down across of Enna looking at Athena. Gently, he began to speak,” I believe in you, little one. Just take some deep breaths and calm your mind, focus on yourself in your other form, that can help me. Besides, it would be nice to hear your voice.”

He tilted his head at her, hoping he would have some success. He never was the best at teaching and guiding, glancing up at Enna. He could hardly remember learning how to switch at will, except for when the twins assisted with him shifting back after his shift into a human. Shifting after a forced shift was always something he struggled severely with. He was surprised he was even able to shift to his human form at all recently.

"We'll have to keep moving from town to town. If we have shadows flowing us I can see how inconvenient that'll be but it may force them to act." Enna replied softly, hands never once stilling as she pet along soft fur. The truth was despite how tired she felt the thought of being followed had her nearly vibrating out of her skin. The wold in her balked at the idea, the alpha she was detested others endangering her pack.

Athena's ears twitched with each new voice that spoke, her eyes half-lidded as she fought against sleep brought on post her meal. Hearing the words 'shift back' had her fur bristling, because she can't remember what it was she looked like. Her mind is hazy when she tries to think about how she ended up where she currently was, it was nwar blank when she tried to remember how she'd ended up in a room full of other kids that smelled of werewolf. Slowly everyone else gets up and settles in to eat, none of them force her to hurry as she tries to calm her racing heart. She isn't sure how much time has passed when the first tingle travels down her spine, followed by another and another still.

Enna can feel both twins and Adrian watching discretely as Athena begins to twitch, the telltale sign of shifting bones beneath her hands all she needs to see really to know it's happening. Children have the hardest time controlling their shifts in general, in this case fear and injury are no doubt playing a part in why it's such a slow process. Minutes pass by as the small pup in her hands slowly recedes, and a little girl is slowly

Pale skin is what first appears from beneath white-grey fur, followed by long slender limbs that twist and flinch. Ink-black hair spills down over too pronounced shoulders, her hands never once stopping their gentle petting. The last part to change is always the hardest, and this is no exception. Soft whines are filling the air but no one makes a move to intervene, despite how they want to comfort. Her little heart is beating much too fast and her scent is souring with each second that goes by, Enna leans forward until she's all but covering the newest addition to the group. "So close, little warrior. Just relax and breathe slow for me? That's it, no one's going to hurt you again. Not while any of us are breathing, okay? That's it. So close. Don't rush." Her were are an endless stream, her eyes intent on the muzzle that's slowly fading away. A small round face finally emerges, with a small button nose and slightly gaunt cheeks that speak of a lack of proper feeding.

"H-hello." Are the first words spoken into the air in some time, the tone is weak and slightly trembling but it's there. Enna sits up fully and reaches for a bee towel that's stiff with unuse, not really sure who handed it to her but content to wrap it around the thin frame that now sits in her lap. People will no doubt wonder who's child she is, but for now Enna can't much bring herself to care. @SomeoneSomewere

After what felt like hours, a smile formed on his face at the tell-tale signs of a shift occurring. He kept his cheering of the little wolf internal, not wanting to spook her, letting Enna take the job of encouragement. He did, however, reach for a towel, having it ready for Athena whenever she finished her shifting.

Finish she did, turning into the very young girl that sat before him. He handed Enna the towel, releasing as it was almost absentmindedly taken from him. He sat down on the ground close to the two, looking up at Athena, trying to make himself appear less threatening. “Hello, my name is Adrian.” He smiled softly at the young girl.

She’d have to be considered a sibling, it was the only option that would make sense. None of them were old enough to be able to pass of that she was a daughter of ours. It should work. As long as they could get her to trust all of them, no problem should arise.

He looked up at Enna and nodded slightly,” that sounds fine to me, our travel is going to be slower, and we will have a lot more to consider, but it should work well.” Glancing back at Athena, he could already feel his protective circle increasing inside, growing to accompany her as well. He’d try to protect them all, or he would die doing so. He glanced towards the twins, both of them having long been included. While the start of their friendship was rocky, he was glad for it to have begun. He frowned very slightly, his thoughts flipping to something completely different at the drop of a hat, looking at Enna,” we need to get her more clothes soon, before we head out”

"No." Jason murmured from his spot on the floor, long limbs curled together. James had perked up at the mention of getting the pup more clothes, though his eyes were narrowed there was no heat to his words. Considering their upbringing neither really have anything to their names, until now where they had things that they'd bought. Yes the money wasn't there's since it belonged to Enna but the thought was still there, and out of the twoof them James loved collecting things.

"Come now, brother. We all need warmer clothes anyway, winter isn't that far off." James stated sith a pout on his lips that was half fake, it had Jason rolling his eyes in fond exasperation. His younger brother was right of course not that he needed the ego boost, but he did make a good point. Just as his lips parted to fire off a sarcastic reply about 'having special abilities and being able to shift', peals of quiet laugher stole his attention.

"Enough of your dramatics, twins. Now let's pack up and get ready to go." Enna instructed with an arched brow, hands holding the child even as she continued to giggle. She watched as both shared a grin before offering her a quick salute, before rising to their feet to do as she said.

By the time lunch came around they were all set, the only last thing to do was buy a fee née items of clothing for them all. They could pass for students exploring anew town on school break, the only difference was that they didn't have the luxury of relaxing with the possibility of being watched. They'd spent some time introducing themselves to Athena as well as introducing Athena to the twins. Now as they moved down the hallway their little charge clung to Enna, her frame covered by the smallest shirt and pants they had. Exiting the hotel wasn't that hard of a task, the real issue came when they stepped foot onto the street. The sidewalks were filled with people and food vendors, the assault of noise and scents had Athena flinching before she pressed closer along Enna's back.

"Clothes, let's go." The twins stated in unison, violet eyes scanning the crowd and store fronts. As one they all moved forward, silent and with a goal in mind. The feeling of eyes along her back had Enna narrowing her eyes, grip on Arhena's legs tightening before relaxing. The sooner they finished the better, thankfully the store they were nearing had racks of clothes within. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian’s head spun to look at Jason, his eyes narrowing. He managed to keep his snap in return in check, but just barely. He did not understand why the statement of no was being uttered. Athena’s clothes would hardly get her through winter, and while he knew he would be able to keep her plenty warm on his own, he knew he couldn’t constantly be near her to keep her warm. Then the slight, but constant drain on his powers couldn’t be allowed, not when expecting attacks at any notice. He took a slow deep breath as Enna intervened, forcing himself to move on. He stood and began to get ready for the day coming a head.

Adrian grimaced in distaste as they entered the busy sidewalk, looking around. He didn’t see anything that jumped out as clothing nearby, and he didn’t knew the layout of the town. He strained to hear or smell anything unusual, huffing as everything began to mix together as more and more people. He could feel the hair on the back of his head raising, and a small shiver of discomfort went down his spine, as he started walking next to Enna.

He tried to blend in as much as possible, but he couldn’t help himself from glancing over his shoulder often, scanning the crowds of people behind them, and quickly looking over the nearby rooftops. He hated this feeling. He clenched his fists tightly, feeling his nails dig into the skin on his palms before relax. Finally, his eyes landed on a small clothing store, and he nudged Enna,” we could try over there?”

He let his feet carrying him to the store front, looking inside through the glass. It wouldn’t completely fit their variety of clothing styles, but something was better than nothing. The faster they could get to somewhere they could hear their surroundings and could stop feeling like he was being bombarded with senses, the better. He looked back at his four companions before opening the door, holding it open for the three of them to enter.

The inside was warmer then outside, and what better was the immediate muffling of the crowded sidewalk when the door closed behind them. The scents that met her nose were softer inside, floral but also spicy. She could feel Athena curiously glancing around, though she made no move to get down."Let's split up and find any clothes that we'll need." She murmured softly, before stepping forward towards a rack.

While she ran warmer than those around her, with her control over ice her skin tended to feel freezing. Athena didn't seem to mind one bit as she snuggled close, answering any questions Enna asked in regards to what she wanted. Jason held their combined clothes since her own hands were full, not that he really seemed to mind. James was no doubt searching for more items for them to wear, there was just one issue and it was only dawning on her now. She couldn't see shoes and those were a necessity, and it had her eyes narrowing in dissatisfaction. Until she felt small fingers tapping along her jaw, and her gaze was averted from the racks she'd been absently glaring at towards the far back.

"Should I change at once?" Were the soft words spoken, Enna could note a hint of unease and reluctance but said nothing. The clothes that has been settled on were a pair of jeans with a white blouse, with a black jacket and boots to complete it. This wouldn't be a regular happenstance but for now it was alright, being on the run was enuygh of a challenge. Once they were all done did they move as one towards the front desk, where an elderly woman stood behind with a book in hand. Her stomach lurched painfully at just how similar she looked like her grandmother, she allowed now of that to show however.

"Ready, dears? My don't you look adorable!" The woman praised gently, which had Athena ducking her head and hiding behind Adrian in embarrassment. Paying was a quick and easy process, and soon they were outside once more. This time wearing thicker coats so those few people would stop staring, Enna had even bought a new pair of boots just in case.

"East? We'll end up walking trough forest toward the next town but really I'd take it over the city road." Was her offer in terms of direction, the map they'd bought had shown several forest-based roads. As they drew further away from the town did she feel her skin begin to crawl, her eyes scanning the nearing trees apprehensively.

Adrian filed in after the lot of them, looking around blankly for a moment. He always forgot how much he despised shopping, but at least this should be a quick endeavor. He stretched his shoulders, trying to releve some of the tension that had built up inside of him in this short period of time.

He walked around, slowly finding items that he liked. A plain pair of jeans, and a dark blue long sleeve shirt were the first items he grabbed. He could hardly focus on shopping, glancing towards the front of the store quite often. His nerves were still highly on edge. He stopped at the jackets, looking at the options available. While he could increase air temperatures around him, it was a constant sapping of his strength. He picked a rather heavy duty jacket, in an attempt that it would assist on keeping him warm. Rarely could he find a jacket that would provide him complete warmth, but it was definitely better than nothing.

He joined Enna, Athena, and the twins to check out, grimacing slightly at the amount of money it cost for one set of clothes between the five of them. He knew they didn’t have much money, but these were necessary for them all. He smiled softly at Athena as she ducked behind him, reaching back to offer a comforting rub of her back. Once checked out, he grabbed some of the clothes off of the counter, walking outside with the rest.

He zoned out on what his body was doing, paying more attention to his surroundings than anything else. His sense of ease neither increased or decreased once they left the town, simply glad he was able to fully use his senses without everything being drowned out by the hustle and bustle of the people around him.

As the trees neared, he also scanned the tree line, searching for any odd movement of the trees, leaves, and other plants. He spoke, his voice barely above a whisper,” I can’t tell if it’s just me being paranoid, but I definitely agree that we are being watched. I swear all my fur would be puffed out like an angry house cat if I was shifted.”

"I think we'd all but like that." James replied with a faint twitch of his lips, his own eyes scanning the approaching trees. Although his hands were in his pockets and his posture screamed relaxed, he was anything but that and was ready to react if need be. The air slowly cleared away of humans and food, revealing the familiar comfort of trees and far off water.

Not that they could enjoy it much. The walk was quiet with only the sound of nature filling the void, their steps silent despite the fallen leaves decorating the ground. It was like a calm before a storm and it set Enna's teeth on edge, Athena all but glued to her side. Straight paths began to morph slowly into hills and steep inclines, the scent of water and pine thickening the more they traveled. Stopping for a break sometime later felt like a bad idea by it needed to happen, they weren't at full capacity yet despite the strong front they insisted on showing. Food was passed around and a small fire courtesy of the twins lit the darkness around them, not that it helped much to chase away the feeling of eyes on them.

The first issue arose when the forest opened up into a clearing with a large lake in the middle, with no other alternate route allowing them passage. Handing off Athena who was all but falling asleep to Adrian, Enna stepped forward and set a foot along the water. Only for all hell to break loose when spikes of earth split the ground, followed by a wall of water rising to meet the mwet them as well. Snarling out a growl as she back flipped away, Enna allowed her eyes to flare blue with the wolf to see where their attackers were.

Except whoever they were didn't give them much of a chance to collect themselves, attacks came fromy every direction without pause. And the problem was that neither of them could really fight back, exhaustion of overuse of their powered drastically hindering them. They were being pushed back while also being herded closer together, and that infuriated her. Her head as well as the twins' shipped around when they heard the sound of high-pitched laugher, a hyena slowly walking out from the trees. It's fur was ink black with rocks hovering around it, a hiss followed and they watched as a dragon with navy-blue scales emerged from the water. The hoot of an owl came with shadows dancing around it as it flapped its wings, and a lion with pure-white fur followed with vines wrapped around its body. These were the ones watching them, all shifted and at full power. Enna felt her body shudder with the need to shift and fight, but she knew that would only end in disaster. With a swallow and a sharp inhale she's moving forward, thankful for the water even as she releases some of her magic. Is her only word before she's turning away, the sounds of pained cries filling the air as the needles no doubt pierce into skin.

They need to move, and quickly.
