You mean he has guns? I thought we agreed that the more advanced the technology the smaller the military has to be because thirty thousand sounds excessive.

No matter, guns don't instantly mean victory and these types of guns are not too efficient I think me and Titanic can still beat them.

Titanic has guns so it's balanced, and I can think of several strategies that could make their guns not very effective. Even after guns were invented armies still used cavalry in ccombat, so I think people over estimate guns especially since these guns are primitive

I basically got no land army, but all ships in my nation are required to have at least 1 cannon on each side. I'll just travel up the river and blast them to pieces. C:

canons are bulky and can be maneuvered around, in this rp it is not just about who has the most advanced technology, it is also how you plan your strategy and fight.

Not to mention that I'm pretty sure that light and maneuverable artillery hasn't been invented yet. From what I know, during the Renaissance cannons were till quite large and heavy and not easy to move around.

A cannon is backed up by military support, obviously one won't allow you to gflank around, plus, keyword here is 'pre-battle'
