This RP will be based on the anime Death Note, with some twists created by me. There will be multiple characters that all have Death Notes and Shinigami' (if I grant them one, which will be controlled by me or the coGM) that either assist them or stand in a neutral place with their human's activities with the death note. There are the main characters but there will also be secondary characters who interact with the main characters and are influenced by their actions with the Death Note.
The RP will take place in Roseburg, Oregon; not in Japan like the actual anime. A group of high school students will have stumbled upon the Death Notes (not knowing what they are) and pick them up. In the first stages of the RP, the characters with Death Notes will be testing them out and slowly discovering the power they have. (Whether or not the characters are friends is up to the players. You guys can work that out in the OOC as far as interactions go.) I will begin the RP with a description of the campus, classes and the city the high school is in and you guys can work off that. I may also stage the fight/disagreement where the Shinigami' dropped or purposely left their notes at to give some backdrop. RULES
1. 90% of the time, what I say (or what the coGM says) goes. If you would like to discuss something, PM me or the coGM and I will be more than happy to attempt accommodation.
2. Do not attack other characters without approval.
3. Do not attack NPC without clearing it with me. I don't want random destruction.
4. If you are unsure about something ask and I will answer to the best of my ability.
5. If you have a suggestions let me know and I will consider them.
6. No fighting in the OOC. I don't mind discussions and disagreements.
7. If anyone is gone longer than 7 days without notice, I may take over your character or just throw you out.
8. Use the mention button. It helps people know your talking to them. Especially me.
9. Internal thoughts are great but please make them appear different from your spoken words. I don't care if you use color or italics or bold.
10. No god modding.
11. Please no walls of text. Separate your paragraphs with indents or enter key it down.
12. Please PM me your character sheets and after they are approved, you may post them in the char tab.
13. There will be 7 main characters and some other minor/side characters and Shinigami'.
14. When naming your character or Shinigami (if I grant you one) please be creative. No extremely boring and simple sounding names.
15. You may have pets that follow you around throughout the story, as long as it makes sense with what's going on around you and they fit into your backstory.
