I am looking for people to help me create a strong and enjoyable Roleplay based on the Marvel Universe. I've been mulling over the idea of a Marvel Universe where Heroes never existed, every character we know and love is evil in some way, shape or form. They're all selfish, they're all focused on their own desires and not one of them even consider helping anyone else unless it benefits them. There is no selflessness, no courage, no humility and certainly no sense of responsibility or consideration for one's own actions. Until we come.

We will play as the first generation of Heroes, Super or not. We will face the odds and battle the never-ending forces of evil in their various forms. I need competent, mature and creative people who will help me build upon this idea. At most I'd want 5-6 people. I don't mind if interest exceeds those numbers but if that's the case everyone should know there will be some sort of application system and I will be limiting how many people get accepted. I have a couple ideas already bouncing around in my head but for right now I just want to see how much attention this gets before we move ahead.

Like what? Any specific questions? I'd like to open a dialogue early and see what people's intentions and visions of this idea are. So what are you wondering about?

First of all, I'd like to see a character sheet, I'd like to see the caps we're working with, and I'm personally more interested in playing an anti-hero, not quite Deadpool, but similar nonetheless. @Misses Lamb

As far as Character Sheets go, your guess is as good as mine. Expect the standard stuff and a little beyond that, I'm looking for well balanced characters that are flawed in more than one way. By caps if you mean like caps on power and abilities and stuff, I'm not sure of that either. Thor/Hulk/Jean Grey level characters are out of the question, most likely we'll be flirting Luke Cage/Spider-Man/Black Panther level heroes who are decent in their own right but won't be demolishing waves of enemies at a time. "B Class" heroes might be a good way to put it. When it comes to Anti-heroes I'm pretty sure that's gonna be the norm. Since no heroes have existed before us I'd find it strange if there were many die hard heroes like Captain America or Superman types who aim for good through and through, our characters will routinely struggle with being heroic and selfless since it won't be a natural thing in our world. I'm not sure how much that helps but that's just what I'm thinking at this moment.

That's an interesting idea but unfortunately, my knowledge is only limited to all of the Marvel movies that I've seen so do you think that will be a problem?

@Catnip I doubt it. Considering that most characters are losing their personality, this means you don't really need to know much.

This sounds really interesting - I'm definitely interested in applying. Will the villains the heroes face be canon Marvel characters, or OCs?

Yes all canon characters within the Marvel universe we know today will be evil. Our characters will be OCs acting as the first generation of actual heroes. There will be other limitations put in place when I set up the OOC.

As we are the next generation, would "child of X&Y" be acceptable?
