Hello Everyone,

My name is Diacles and I am 100% new to RP writing. I have been writing for as long as I can remember, and have been a story teller in many forms; from campfires, to tabletop games I have found few things as enjoyable as an imaginative adventure. I am open to any tips from more experienced RPers (is that right?) especially the cheesy "I wish I would have known" kind. I hope to have great experiences with some of you and look forward to role playing.

Actually yes, Diacles Cilaris: which is an invalid name for Haemanthus Albiflos. A long time ago, these were two opposing characters in a story of mine.

Welcome to the guild! Advice wise, we've got a few excellently written guides that are worth a read. Here you go!

And the best bit of advice I can give is perseverance; most games that get plotted die, especially 1x1s, and it's sad and awful, but it's just the nature of the beast. If someone disappears two posts into a game you're really enjoying, don't take it personally. Keep at it; pitch the idea again, find a new writing buddy, and have crazy misadventures.
