Double Capybara Thank you for releasing me

I think I overcame my writer's block, I still feel my writing is a bit cranky but I will try my best to fix it soon.

Anyway, since the post was too long once again I will need to do another "Ilunabar musing about stuff while spending no might" post, in which she screws the word twice with tectonics and commending Jvan's work, hopefully after that she can leave to her dream realm, then the Winter finally arrives in Game of Thrones, Half-Life 3 is released and Guts finally leave the boat (oh wait)

A very joyful situation indeed.

Hmm, it seems like enough crap is happening in the ic for me to create a second post for the second turn.

Guess I'll get working.

Working on the first banner for Lifprasil's first post. I'm thinking about accompanying every post from him with a little illustration - however quickly done. Enjoy some moons. Toun, Tekkal, and Logos' moons are probably the most easily identified.

Is that what it's going to be called? o:

I mean, when you rule over a planet, you gotta know its name.

I wonder how prepared Galbar will be when the Imperium of Man arrives to purge the heresy.

It will probably be less purging and more harsh ultimatums from a certain Demi-God.

Have I missed something? Are you going to be on Logos' extremely far off world?

That's part of the plan. Although Lifprasil may be able to bring his Empire to Galbar faster than the year 40,000. It's too grimdark, then.

Hey @The Irish Tree, one way we could play it when we eventually make intelligent life is that a god makes you their hero, and then the Adversary convinces you to break away from said god.

I have no idea if your immortality'd carry over.

I doubt it would. Now I'm kinda debating between a possible hero, or some sort of Demigod of Gateways.

So, how many gods are going to have it out against Lifprasil's Empire? Just curious for negotiation reasons - because Lifprasil does want to create a capital city representative of the entire divinity; which I'm sure will rope in plenty of might for the lot of ya. As a plus, Lifprasil is willing to permit the Demigods/Heroes of every Empire rule over their own stead.

Basically, Lifprasil will not only create a vast site of worship that also doubles up as a constantly expandign living space - but he'll give the Demigods more power as well. Provided they bend the knee to the child of Chaos/Thought, which essentially smacks him in the middle of the Divinity scale of good-evil. He can remain a king neutral to the ways of the gods, provided they don't antagonize him and his Pantheonic Empire - where anyone is allowed to worship whoever they want. Lifprasil wants to be Logos, only he wants to exert balance over absolute light.

That, and if you feel like being really generous you can have Lifprasil 'marry' your god's child for more power. That's how he'll roll - if everything works out.

@poog the pigGods don't gain power from worshippers, so unless they really like waving their dick around [Logos] that won't be a major draw.

The Adversary will definitely present some form of opposition to Lifprasil, because that's what he does. But he won't be any more opposed to it than anything else.

I know, but for gods like Belru who make pacts with needy people I feel like it would be beneficial.

However, there's nothing wrong with a healthy rivalry between the Adversary and Lifprasil - a holy Empire needs to demons to slay after all!

While Reathos will not inherently dislike this idea. He will eventually go after Lifprasil. Unless Lif manages to strike a deal to kill those who should have died so in return Reathos spares his. Bloody business but it has to be done.

Kho did say that he wanted to explore other ways to generate Might than holy sites. A massive amount of worshipppers performing service or rituals might do the trick.

Lifprasil won't care if Reathos comes after him, he lacks a certain amount of self preservation. He will care, however, if Reathos pursues those that serve him. A deal could be struck, though, death worship has been pretty big in human history.

But, more fervent worshipers would lead to better potential hero candidates, no?

@Legion02That's true. There's still an incentive to just make their own city (with blackjack &c.), but @poog the pig could have a business going providing worshippers to the less building-inclined gods in return for their protection (seeing as they don't want to lose their own worshippers).

@The Irish TreeSpeaking of which; do heroes need to be made from sentient beings?

@Legion02 "has to be done" is subjective.

@poog the pig I think it's too early to discuss it, honestly. I'll wait to see how Lif goes about his plans IC.

@The Irish Tree According to the OP, whether your immortality is permanent or based on conditions is up to the god who makes you a hero to determine, so it could. I feel that some gods, like Zephyrion (God of Change), might forgo making your immortality dependent on your loyalty.
