Ooohhhhhh, you mean in real life. I thought you were talking about the rp, which is why I said thousands.

This RP universe is based rather strongly in real-world physics. Most events will happen with the same mechanisms and timescales as in real life. Therefore, the present age of our RP universe is billions of years.

What's Reathos' stance on Vowzra then?

From what I read so far, Reathos and Vowzra believe almost the exact same. Though Reathos might not be looking at the grand scheme of things. But do seem to find importance that was is Fated must happen. While Vowzra mostly makes sure everyone stays on the right path, Reathos seems to make sure that every mortal's path is ended correctly. However, Reathos has almost no knowledge of Vowzra's existence. But if the 2 would ended up chatting I'm pretty sure they would at least tolerate or even appreciate each other. But it's obviously not in each other’s nature to 'befriend' each other.

I know Vowzra would disagree greatly with Reathos' outlook purely because Reathos cannot see the greater picture - he is too fixated on his own perception of 'order' and what is correct, and too rigid and unchanging for Vowra's tastes in that regard.
I was just interested because Vowzra is apparently the Vicegerent of Fate and aims to carry out (a certain version of) Fate's will - and since Reathos can only be swayed by Fate, I was wondering to what extent Vowzra could sway him if it came down to it.

Obviously if Vowzra just barges in and says he speaks for Fate Reathos will probably get angry with him. But if Vowzra manages to proof he speaks with the authority of Fate then Reathos will follow his orders. Not unquestioningly though and he might even try to discuss certain orders (No doubt when the matter concerns immortal heroes/demi-gods or the returning of someone's soul). However, would Vowzra demand too much from Reathos, he will grow weary.

On the idea of being too rigid, Reathos will probably say that dead is supposed to remain unchanged. It is final, the Omega of life. He will disagree with Vowzra on this I guess. But the god of time (and timelines) will still be respected greatly by Reathos.

Oh no no, he won't be demanding at all, he probably won't demand or command or give any kind of order. He would only reprimand if he feels Reathos is straying from the Timeline or express his approval where Reathos has done well in preserving the Timeline.

Regarding the question of the passage of time, I canonized it somewhat in one of my earlier posts. It's definitely in the upper billions, but I'd say we're still about 300-500 million away from catching up with where Earth would be. Keep in mind that Galbar isn't fully geologically formed yet and life is confined to just a few places.

On the topic of Zephyrion and this Pantheonic Empire, as you'll see once mortals start popping up that he's very much a fire and brimstone sort of god. He has a short fuse with the other gods that anger him, so you can imagine that he has even less patience (as in next to none) with mere mortals. I think in his sheet I also mention that he's rather arbitrary in his dealings with worshipers. He picks favorites and doesn't act very predictably.

@Double Capybara

Care to share the 'dangerous idea' that Ilunabar is afraid to voice?

And she just suggested that Zephyrion build giant instruments for the sake of music, or would they have some sort of purpose? I'm thinking about whether Zephyrion might realistically take a lesson from Vestec by making a bunch of instruments that can wreak all sorts of havoc. A Horn of Doom that kills whoever blows it as well as any that hear its sound, a Conch of Fury that summons a hurricane...

I'm holding on to the 13.5 billion Kho mentioned earlier. After calculating, 13.5 billion falls at Ull's 4th cycle so I retracted my level up to have some more leeway.

@Cyclone The dangerous idea is spreading the tectonic fissure all over the world, as I said earlier. The trouble is that it will make life harder for a lot of gods, so Ilunabar is really thinking if she should do it or not (Spoiler: She will do it)

About the instruments, right now they would be just really loud ways to say "Hey, I'm here" and the Muse's plan to spread songs across the world (even if not hers) but I think they could be easily turned into relics with a bit of Might, so we might have the Almighty Oboe of Hurricanes and stuff. Furthermore, she is giving to Zephyrion the designs, so he can make as many as he wants as long as there is enough stone.

@Kho If we really are saying 13.5 billion, it'll be weird since we're still making oceans and the like. And that's to say that after so many billions of years, Slough has only really made the Deepwood?

I'm in favor of calling it 13.5 billion at the end of next turn, after major geological work has been done and right when we start making (somewhat) intelligent life.

Ah. Well, Zephyrion will go along with that and give Ilunabar the tumbs up to bunk in his flying castle. I'll see about posting once Termite responds with Jvan.
