Sachiko let out a small sigh as she continued their little hike. She was in excellent shape due to her previous occupation one could say and that made it where this hike wasn't really phasing her all that much. Looking forward she looked at her "future" boss despite everything she was unsure on who he really was or why he even accepted his position. With that said it left her curious on why he would accept such a spot was he forced or was it he was willing? These questions was floating about her head when she decided enough was enough it mattered little to her in the long one she figured her job was to protect the "boss" and as such that was what she was going to do. With that resolve she steeled her eyes and faced forward no matter what the teachers threw at them she would prove her worth one way or another.

Ayumu Tomoe was not an outdoorsman.

"Hah... This is defo a way to get morning exercise in..." he commented, "I should've taken this time to read you all my copy of my favorite book."

------------It was not an obvious fact. Partially because his hiking outfit was on point, even if he looked somewhat ridiculous with that large pack on his back, stuffed with supplies for any eventuality. One might say that it was as if he had consulted a guidebook and planned for every eventuality, but people with better intuition or understanding would know that he had done exactly that. After all, having fun isn't hard when you have a library card. Having fun also becomes more cost-effective with a library card, a fact which his wallet dearly needed following yesterday's charity event.

However, his image was mostly due in part of his apparent comfortibility in this rather inconvenient situation. One might be led to many assumptions regarding why this was. It could be prescribed to his affinity as a morning person, or maybe it was just another aspect of his jack-of-all-tradesiness manifesting itself. More likely, it was a naive and ultimately misguided belief that their instructors would not send them into the deep end right off the bat. No, he was mentally capable enough to have had come to that realization already. At this point it was a self-suggestion that was driving himself forward, a denial of the truth meant to motivate himself. At any rate, he had not managed to fall behind everyone, but he wasn't leading the charge either. No matter how childishly innocent your persistence is, it is not a valid substitute for actual capability. With all the effort he put into hiding it, the toll it was taking was imperceptible, but it was still there. In his uneasy footing, in his breathing, in his constant drinking. Like a drop becoming a lake, it would build. His fortress of the mind would break sooner or later. He just had to hope that soon they'd get to a-

"Stop."

Ah, music to his ears. They reached a space where the steep trail plateaued much more comfortably. Large rocks and tree stumps formed natural seats to take advantage of, and the foliage left large patches of shade. "You've all worked hard enough. I'll let you give your equipment to Miss Shiso," Fon informed, still sitting comfortably on Yoshiaki's head, "She has kindly volunteered to bring it the rest of the way up while we take a short rest here. In the meantime, feel free to fraternize as you wish."

Ayumu checked his phone. No reception, how forboding. Maybe Sanji's insinuation about serial killers hiding in the wilderness would come to pass... and maybe pigs could fly without having to strap them to a catapult. "So Sanji-kun," he began, deciding to broach conversation with someone he didn't know all that well, "See any dark shapes or ominous foreshadowing recently?"

Hiking where was a sick note when you need it. It's not that Sanji was unfit it's that c'mon who jumps outta bed and screams "HIKING!" Sanji thought everyone would be dressed like mafia he looked at his own 'getup' he ripped the sleeves of a t shirt and put a red tie round his head, while wearing facepaint. Well at least he'll get an A in effort. As they were told to stop and give their things to Shiso. Sanji was unsure of why Fon didn't seem nice enough for this but meh.

A conversation struck up with Ayuma about the things he seen in the forest. Sanji thought to himself 'SOMEONE WHO'S NOT CRAZY YES!' He leaned in closer to Ayuma looked left then right and said "He's a demon". He could tell he had to be more specific "Hisaki is a demon and I need an extra pair of hands to ya know get him sorted. We're mafia! I say we tie him up when he's not expecting it and get it out of him .

Ayumu blinked twice as his blonde underclassman leaned in close and looked around as if he was being watched by forces unknown or the government. He blinked twice when the pingpong player mentioned demons. In total, he blinked twice twice, about twice as many times as he'd expected he'd have to blink during this conversation. "And by that you mean...?" he asked with a confused tilt of the head.

"Hisaki is a demon and I need an extra pair of hands to ya know get him sorted. We're mafia! I say we tie him up when he's not expecting it and get it out of him."

'....Well,' Ayumu thought, and then blinked twice thrice. That was not at all what he was expecting - something more along the lines of the symbolic demon that their tyrant leaders and their hiking regime had become - but good on Hisaki for chatting with his underclassmen... even if the impression he left was the kind that replaced woodland serial killers with demonic apparitions. Nevertheless, this was a problem he should probably address.

"Mmm... How about not trying to fight a demon with a history of violence?" Ayumu suggested to the low-budget Rambo, his hushed whispers a beacon of logic in the fog of Sanji's confused mind. Who knew that his strange icebreaker would end up like this? Not Ayumu, but he would have to follow through with this. It was the right thing to do, and indeed, trying to front with demons literal or otherwise was not the right thing to do. He would have to fix this, and he knew exactly what to say: "Instead of that, I'd suggest calling in an exorcist. Try throwing some blessed salt and water at him for good measure. Trust me, I know how these things work."

He paused.

"Or you know, he could've been joking."

. . .

"...I wouldn't throw salt at anyone, that's kind of a dick move."

"I do not see the point of this conversation." Sachiko said with a slight tilt of her head this conversation literally had no point so why were they pursuing this train of thought. "Though on a side note what do you mean Hisaki is a demon. I am pretty sure Hisaki lacks the needed occult abilities and look to be classified as a demon." This was a odd thing she was sure Hisaki lacked horns and a tail to be a demon or a devil so why were they calling him one? "It seems that more information is going to be needed if I am to grasp what exactly they are talking about." Sachiko muttered. Despite all she knows and so forth she was still a bit clueless on majority of things but she supposed it was best to learn now rather than later.

Reina Saotome || Namimori Shopping District

Victory never tasted this great. A fist was raised to the sky as a sign of victory before Rei snickered back at the rest of the boys who had participated in the race. "Tsk tsk tsk. Never underestimate girls with super strength. My training wasn't just for shows, heh." Chest puffed outward with hands rested at her hips, an expression of proudness plastered across her face.

Once the group moved over to a restaurant after all the shopping, Rei ate sushi rolls to her heart's content while minding a little to how much the upperclassman would be paying for all these. After swallowing the salmon sushi in her mouth, she casually commented, "Didn't think senpai was serious when he said he'd treat us to eat! Not that I'm complaining or anything though." Rei happily plopped in another salmon sushi in her mouth after dipping it in soy sauce.

There seemed to be a little commotion over at the table with Yoshiaki and Ayumu, to which Rei would've approached over to break up whatever it was but by the look on her best friend's face, he must have been talking about something serious. Deciding that she'd leave them alone for now, she leaned closer to the group and whispered, "I wonder what's wrong with them. " Rei kept her eyes on them from time to time while continuing her meal, until Yoshi bid his farewell to the group. "See ya Yoshi! Don't be late tomorrow!"

Reina Saotome || Mountain Trail

In the end, the one who ended up late to the point of almost missing the group leave for the camp site was none other than Rei. The girl ran with all she had when her eyes caught the sight of them leaving the shrine, all the while shouting over, "Hey guys! Wait for me! I'm here!"

A lot of factors had lead to her tardy. One being her alarm not going off, due to the fact that Rei had forgotten to switch the alarm to ON the night before. Two being her dear granny insisting to pack as many things she thought her grandchild would need in this trip, but really, even Rei thought it was already overpacked with stuff already.

With a huge luggage at her back, the tomboy girl started to march with the group along the mountain trail. The weight of her backpack wasn't too much of a burden to her, all thanks to her previous boss' training method. Seeing evident signs of exhaustion from Ayumu, the underclassman grinned and offered, "Need a hand with that, senpai? I owe ya from yesterday's treat."

Just as she offered, Fon ordered for them to stop. When he suggested to hand over their luggage towards the fox tailed lady, Rei's gaze turned towards her and commented, "I don't think she could handle my stuff. Granny overpacked it with too much, only I could probably carry it around. Thanks for the offer though, lady!"

While she was speaking to the leaders to this trip, can't say "adults" due to Fon being a strange, talking toddler, a group of them seemed to be engaging in a fun? sounding conversation. But since she was too out of hearing range to hear the good stuff, Rei closed in to the small group and cluelessly stated, "Hey, what're you guys talking about while giving Hisaki weird looks like that?"

"Shh not so loud younglings!" Sanji was tempted to take back that remark as he seen Rei....Just forget it happened. "When demons walk upon our grass, May they face good as they pass!" he climbed a stone and did a somewhat odd fighting pose one hand in the air and other giving the symbol for peace "Mr.Bust". Although his brand new Secret Identity name was out there and it sounded as if he was a slum lord, he was a exorcist/detective. He hoped off the stone. He followed Hisaki (Not very discreetly) measuring his height and whatnot while he waited for the hike/walk to stop.

This...This isn't gonna be a one time thing....

Hisaki Kawaguchi | Camping

Hisaki was at the head of the hiking group, he'd brought an array of essential items and easy to make foods, as well as a book on ingredients, but somehow he didn't look eager. That was probably because he disliked camping, he preferred the comforts of the city life, plus his uncle would make him go camping once a year for his training up until last year. He was glad to no longer need to, but to go camping again this year didn't appeal to him, despite that he came quite prepared with a fairly full bag. Likely with all this, this was probably another training camp... He was too busy frowning and hiking ahead with disdain to hear the chatter behind him too.

The hike itself was no problem to him, hiking up mountain trails was pretty normal to him, but that didn't mean he didn't want it to end. He looked a little ahead, and it seems there was still more of this path... Just walking was boring, but running would be too tiring. He just wanted to finally reach the camp site.

"Though on a side note what do you mean Hisaki is a demon. I am pretty sure Hisaki lacks the needed occult abilities and look to be classified as a demon."

"A moment please. I need to explain our situation to the uninitiated," Ayumu requested, backing away from Sanji and turning his attention to Sachiko. "Oh Sacchin, allow me to enlighten you," Ayumu placed his hand on his heart and looked off into the distance like it was a TV show and he was about to transition into a heartwrenching flashback that would explain all his deep-seated psychological issues. Obviously such a thing was not about to happen because Ayumu's issues don't need a flashback to explain. "What do you see when you look at our group?" he asked rhetorically, making a finger-camera and framing the individuals within Sachiko's field of vision, "If you said a baby, some disgruntled young men, and my previous conversation partner, you would be correct. However, you would also be correct if you said 'people'." He looked at Fon and narrowed his eyes slightly, silent for a brief moment. "...probably. But that's not important." He continued, "People have hopes. They have dreams. They have delusions that they cling to in order to cope with the harsh truth of their reality." He punctuated his sentences with grandiose hand gestures before quieting into but a whisper. "While what Sanji-kun says may not be true to you, it is true to him! In his mind, his heart, and dare I say... his soul. Are you willing to take that away from him?"

"Hey, what're you guys talking about while giving Hisaki weird looks like that?"

Ayumu straightened up, having deemed his explanation fit. "Oh you know," Ayumu answered, "The usual, I'd think. I don't quite know him well enough to know if this behavior of his is normal." He shrugged. "Actually, it's kind of funny, but-"

"Shh not so loud younglings!"

"Err... Nevermind. I suppose you'll see for yourself." Ayumu's eyes followed Sanji as he advanced ahead, stood atop a stone, and struck a pose whilst making a declaration to the heavens about righteous comeuppance. It was short, it was reasonably catchy, and most importantly of all, it rhymed. "Aha! Wonderful! I shall give you my utmost support in your endeavors, Mr. Bust," Ayumu clapped his hands together and smiled cheerfully. His mind no longer focused on the effort it took to walk the trail. This was something he could definitely get behind, yesiree. Perhaps he could get the Drama Club's prop department to throw together some nice period-appropriate suits and accessories; then they could have some proper fun with this case of dual-identity...Or, you know, he could just not continue to entertain the notion that Hisaki was a demonic being and Sanji was an occult detective hell('Hah.')bent on stopping him. But he was no killjoy, so he would let these underclassmen have their fun.

The beginning of the trip had yet to pass and already Yoshi was more or less fed up. There was an idiotic conversation and he wasn't sure he was happy with the motley crew. There was Ayumu, an everlasting annoyance whom he could simply not fathom. There was Hisaki, rival to his best friend and admittedly pretty good gamer, though Yoshiaki would never admit it. There was Rei, his best friend, who needed no further attention. Then... The two mysterious new girls. They were different. This he knew to be fact. And above all else, the younger brother Rei seemed to have adopted, who apparently believed just about everything he'd be told and was hell bent on embarrassing himself, Sanji. Yoshi couldn't help, but want to mess with the little fool, but for now he had something else to deal with. Apparently, they were to be giving their things to the fox chick.

"You don't honestly believe I'm giving my things to that big ball of crazy furriness." He spoke quickly to the baby sitting atop his head.

"Believe me, she can handle far more than anyone here. And she could do it much more efficiently and quickly. At the rate we're moving it'd be dark out before we reached the site and we'd barely be able to set up." Fon replied with little to no extra thought or hesitation. It was sound logic really.

"That isn't the point you damn ru- AH!" The young mafia boss to be immediately shouted in pain as he felt another attack from the tiny fist.

"Respect is an important virtue. I'd recommend you learn it. Fon replied simply.

"You fu- GAH!" Before the curse could escape his lips another impact, audible to the rest of the group, sounded off. "Bastar- Dammi- Stop!"

"Everybody please allow Miss Volkov to relinquish you of your things. It'll be safer if we can without the added weight, and maybe even take in the beauty of the nature that surrounds us. Fon said presenting a small smile to the group as Yoshi begrudgingly removed his pack and handed it over to the fox. It seemed Yoshi wouldn't be allowed the same leniency much of the rest of his new allies seemed to receive.

"There. I did it. Are you happy?" He spoke simply, clearly annoyed, though the baby seemed unphased. "What's next anyway?" Yoshi asked trying to move on from the embarrassment he'd just faced, and attempting to bury his clear anger.

Without another word Fon kindly had everyone, with the exception of Rei, who'd been the only one, other than Yoshi, to really refuse, hand over their things. It wasn't like it was much of a big deal. He'd allow Shiso to go off to the campsite while he led the small group further up and around the trail. A few hints of wildlife, impeccable scenery, like what you'd see in a movie or a game, and much more. You'd think he'd been in Namimori his entire life the way he was leading this apparent expedition. And soon the "fun" would come to an end. "Well I do think that was quite an interesting first day. Don't all of you?"

"What? That was it?"

"What did you expect?" The infant tutor laughed a bit. "I felt it was important that you be exposed to the beauty that surrounds you. You can learn a lot if you just stop and... Well... Smell the flowers." The apparently young man smiled taking another glance around. It was about as quiet as one would expect in the wilderness, faint noises here and there not much out of the ordinary. "We'll be arriving soon. The evening is fast approaching. I suggest we take the time to set up and eat before the light of the sun leaves us. And then we may rest. Tomorrow will be another day." The infant patted Yoshi's head, the teen seeming somewhat disappointed by the turn out. "The camp site is just beyond these trees." He said pointing ahead.

Hisaki Kawaguchi | Almost there

The yapping and talking and chattering behind him he paid no mind. He preferred it over his uncle talking about his many endeavors when they go out on camping hikes like this, so he cared little for the noise. The sun was starting to come down, they'll barely have any time to set up the tents... Then again, does anyone here besides him know how to set one up? It completely slips his mind too that Sanji still believed he was a demon and never got the chance to clear that up, but he doesn't care... Or remember. He was more concerned about how crazy it is that they're treating a baby as the head honcho of this entire operation. Soon as said baby said that the campsite was just beyond the trees...

"Good, I was beginning to worry we'd just be hiking through all of the evening too...", he commented. His tone was somewhat displeased, but that was out of how boring most of the walk was. The scenery was nice and all but it tends to be difficult to appreciate if you're not allowed to stop and look.

Yuki raised a brow to how the others were trying to deduce if one of the other children was a demon or not, just playing around given that her beloved Ayumu joined in. He was not so foolish as to take something like this seriously right? Either way she soon moved up towards where Ayumu was and smiled a little from under her hood, walking along side him during this was a lovely thing to say the least~ However she also ready for whatever her sister and the baby may have tried, as she was sure that those two were not just going to allow the first day to be this easy... The first tip of to the girl was the offer of taking their gear up to the camping site, like in any sort of hell did her sister wish to do work like that. Though she did offer her own back pack towards her sibling with one hand and a blank look, making sure that sjhe knew she was onto them!

-

Shi waited beside everyone and gestured to a near by tree where everyone could leave their things for her to take. She was dressed in a black tank top along with white and black military cargo pants and boots, clearly ready for any situation that may arise! Either that or it was fun to dress up and the cargo pants had a perfect space where her tail could stick out and wave from side to side. "Fon is correct, I will be taking care of your things. After all you won't want to be too tired for the training right?" She was smiling away though she did grit her teeth when she was called a crazy fox women, not that she had to do anything since Fon dished out a punishment for her... Maybe it was for the best in the end since she would have not been as gentle with the boy.

"Respect for your peers is very important, even as a future leader."

The fox women stated towards Yoshiaki before her attention was taken by Rei's comment, which right away she moved up towards her and reached out with her semi clawed hand. With the girls attention on the others she would likely easily be able to grab and lift up the so called 'heavy' luggage and more than likely the girl with it if she didn't let go. "Don't worry, I can handle it. I mean if you think it is heavy then maybe I should after all." She smirked as she teased and then shook the back pack so that the girl could let go. While walking back with the luggage her younger sibling Yuki blatantly came up offering her back pack to her, basically telling her to do it... With a sigh she took it and blinked when the weight was felt, it making her arm bend a little before she opened it up...

"What is this?" She said removing what looked to be a heavy weight from the backpack, and when she dropped it even more weights of different shapes and sizes poured out of it and onto the ground. "Where are the supplies?" Yuki just looked up to her and then handed off the small side bag she had "That was for training. You would make it too easy otherwise" Shiso gritted her teeth before smacking the back of her sisters head gently and sending her off with the others.

Sachiko Kanno - Camping trip

Sachiko sighed as she watched the interactions between what was assumed sisters. It did bring some feelings that she quickly killed as soon as it rose up it did her no good to get lost in what ifs now. Handing her bag was simple as all it contained was a sleeping role and dried meats which was all that was needed for basic survival as far as she was concerned. Though she did keep a small bag to her self a small brown bag zipped closed containing a few needed items mainly a cloud ring and her box weapon. Though she did notice that her twin knives was not as concealed as she thought it was as people could look at them strapped to her thigh when she turned around due to her skirt flying up somewhat. With a small blush gracing her cheeks Sachiko decided to speak up "If the campsite is beyond the trees what is the main need for Volkov to take our bags? If it is so close by than it shouldn't hurt to keep carrying them correct?"

Sanji snapped out of the Mr. Bust persona, as the music to his ears of the campsite being just beyond the trees. He didn't hate the hike just the start, middle and end. As Sachiko got suspicious of the Volkov sister, Sanji butted in "How am I gonna take down a jaguar and Bear without a knife, Scratch that! These two bad boys will handle them" he said showing off his fists. Looking at others as if he'd done it before.

Sanji couldn't help realize who he was standing with. I mean everyone was so different and had their own strengths and weaknesses this mess of a team was it really gonna be mafia material or were they gonna spin out of control.

"If the campsite is beyond the trees what is the main need for Volkov to take our bags? If it is so close by than it shouldn't hurt to keep carrying them correct?"

"Things are rarely what they seem when on a mountain," Fon answered, hopping off Yoshi's head ("Ow!") and gently landing on Sachiko's, "Height easily warps the effective distance, the thinner air makes your breathing less efficient, so on and so forth. In truth, we're only about 60 or 70% done with the hike. As for the bags, consider it a training aide. If you spend all of your effort on hauling your things up, you will have little left for the rest of the day." He let his statement hang in the air, as if absorbing the mountain sounds and the rhythmic footfalls. "Of course, having you all simply hike up here would be wasting the time spent. Therefore, we had you carry your things as a sort of warm-up. The old adage of 'killing two birds with one stone' applies nicely to what was we were trying to accomplish. Does that satisfy your question?"

Ayumu didn't want to be the first person to 'give up' as it were, so he had resigned himself to walking the rest of the walk and maybe developing lower back pain in the future. It was fortunate then that he was not the first one to pass their stuff along. 'Aha!' he thought triumphantly as the act of 'making your luggage someone else's problem' became socially acceptable. Almost a bit too readily, he thrust his bag into Shiso's arms when the opportunity arose. Now finally relieved of his burdens, he could go ahead and focus on other things. Like walking or the soreness of his feet, which were rather sore now that he'd had the opportunity to think about it.

'Damn, if I was a bit shorter and dressed like a cute girl, I could totally ask someone to carry me,' Ayumu bemoaned as he made his way up the trail with the smiliest of smiles, 'Alas, it seems fate has not deigned to make it so.' He released an appropriately exaggerated sigh, its purpose vague to all. It didn't help his issue; he was still tired...

"How am I gonna take down a jaguar and Bear without a knife, Scratch that! These two bad boys will handle them"

"...As your senpai, I'm morally obligated to explain that we don't have jaguars in Japan," Ayumu piped up, the deadpan in his expression extending to his tone of voice, "We do, however, have bears. Unfortunately I cannot endorse this course of action." Man, it hurt him emotionally to say these things. Though not in the way one might expect. "After all, it's not fair to fight bears with guns," he raised his arms and began flexing exaggeratedly but also half-heartedly, his lethargy rather evident in both his actions and words. It was also apparent that he was not a particularly muscular dude, but that wasn't really unexpected. At least he had sleeves on. "Bam. Pow. Bang." He allowed his arms to fall at his sides like wet noodles. "Et cetera, et cetera." He yawned. "Sorry guys, I'm kind of out of it right now. Maybe next time." He realized he had snacks packed away, but then he realized that he'd given the bag away already. Goddamn it.

AND THEN A BIT LATER THEY WERE PAST THE TREES YAAAAAAAAAAAAY

...Okay back to seriousness.

The sun was just past the center of the sky, indicating that it was already early afternoon.

After crossing the treeline, the trail began to plateau into a fairly wide, level space. There was still a bit more mountain left, but it seemed that this would be the place. There was a makeshift fire pit - that is to say, a big hole surrounded by rocks with some wood in it - in the center of the area. Excepting a sheer drop straight ahead of the group, every side had a distinct, if somewhat overgrown, trail leading further up or down the mountain.

And that was... literally everything.

Then Ayumu fell over. And of course he'd make sure not to land on his face. "Umuu.... Finally...." he mumbled, burying his face into the bend of his elbow. Then, realization struck him. He rose his head and narrowed his eyes. "...Wait a second," he began, scanning the plateau, "Where the fuck pardon my language is my stuff?!"

Shiso watched as the others started to leave the area, her sisters eyes still glaring back towards them as she still suspected something clearly... Oh was she ever right to suspect something was up since as soon as the others started to make their way up she bent down to quickly start transporting the items, though not for their intended destination. The entire time Fon remained on her head which she only chuckled about as she searched the bags for anything that resembled a device that they could use to track them down that way.

"You know those kids may end up getting lost if you don't go and guide them. I will handle this."

"They will be fine for a few moments. I just wanted you aware that I also took your sisters ring."

The fox women nodded in understanding as she finished moving off the stuff into a secret hiding place that they had set up before hand. This way they could handle it however they wanted, from scattering some items as rewards or whatever. Though either way she would stay behind for the time being to handle things while Fon went and easily caught up with the group once again. Hopping onto Ayumu's back for a moment and gave off a soft hum of fake confusion.

"Miss Volkov may be having trouble?"

----

The baby leaped off the boy as a sharp kick suddenly came from Yuki, her glare sharp as he had stood on the boy without her permission. Ah right also because of the stuff too, though really she had somewhat seen this coming, mainly because she knew the pair too well. "Yeah right... Lost maybe." She squatted down in front of Ayumu, thankfully she was wearing shorts and stockings under her skirt so he didn't get a eyefull. "You alright? Want me to lay down with you? I make a good pillow"

Hisaki Kawaguchi | Camp

Upon arrival, Hisaki was probably the one of the only ones to not laze about. He took a quick drink before unloading his gear. Various camp equipment, including a tent, which he began to construct. This campsite wasn't a bad spot, honestly it was probably more hospitable than his uncle's choice. There was already a fire pit here they could use, so setting up for cooking wasn't going to be difficult at all. His tent was constructed quickly, as it was quite a simple one, not much room for more than two people though.

"By the way... Who said something about bears? If we need to take one down, my uncle taught me how to wrestle one, since he does it all the time", he just said something unusual with a straight face, and with a look of calm confidence he continued.

"It's all in the technique. If you do it right, one good grappling move ought to make it submit... Although they've always been too heavy for me to take them down with one technique... If we need to kill one, a good knife should let me do it... Although my uncle manages to snap their necks instead...", just what kind of person was his uncle? An outrageous one. Hisaki wasn't sure if his uncle did these things to show off or teach him things though... Then again he was kind of a show-off.

"Anyways, I hope you all brought your own food, because I only have enough here for myself for awhile", he added. He wasn't going to have to go hunting to eat, in fact he could easily hunt if he wanted to, albeit by mostly wrestling wild life, or with a sword... But he wanted to avoid it right now. It didn't feel right.

"...Whatever you say kiddo," Ayumu sighed, exasperation evident in his tone as he lifted his head and rested his chin on his arms. He didn't necessarily disbelieve Fon, but he definitely didn't believe in their other instructor; the baby might be as easily have been as left in the dark. Babies, after all, were not renowned for their ability to keep secrets. Or speak, for that matter. At any rate, it seemed patience would be the only option left one way or another. Oh well, it can't be helped. Besides, he'd been able to run on less fuel than this plenty of times before. He lay there patiently waiting for the feeling of tiny feet on his back to finally disappear before he could get up.

However, just when he was about to make his move, he was addressed by Yuki. A pregnant moment passed. "...Sh...cks..." he mumbled. His voice sounded bit odd, but it was too far muffled with his arms in close proximity to get a good read on his inflections. He raised his head and moved his hands parallel with his shoulders and, with a deep inhalation, pushed himself off the ground. "Nah, I'm good," he answered, dusting himself off as he did so. "No need to worry about me," he smiled, "Thanks for the concern though, I appreciate it."

Once the possibility of fighting bears was broached, Ayumu's mind began to wander. "...I wonder what bear tastes like..." he mused, lazily looking off at the clouds aloft. Surely it couldn't be all that different from venison, right? His mind travelled back a few summers ago when his clubmate's dad brought everyone some really nice venison dango to cele- 'Enough of that, there's work to be done,' he reminded himself. "My my, how violent. I'm sure PETA would like to have a word, what with all this hot boy-on-bear action," he commented, "Glad to know if any feral animals come charging in, we've got some strapping young lads to take care of them."

"...Well... the fake fun's fine in stories and movies, but I've got no stomach for the real thing,"
he added sheepishly, "I'll just leave that sort of thing to someone else. What's the chances the wildlife'll come after us anyway?" He clapped his hands together. "Now then, does anyone require any assistance while I wait and pray for the foxy one to return?"

Sachiko Kanno|Camp

Sachiko sighed as she noticed the lack of their backs but also of the other Volkov sibling. Seeing as she was missing she decided that if they was going to survive they were going to need fire wood and flint. Flint was easy to solve as she could do that part easily due to the two bags on her waist one for combat the other for small camping items. Wood was plentiful as they were by trees so that was one good thing. "Bear meat can be tough and stringy when not cooked properly." She spoke up to answer the one musing of Ayumu's as she went to work grabbing small twigs and sticks around the campsite. Even if they lacked their bags she knew how to survive though it might be a bit harder to the larger amount of people.
