Jiang Chao - The Owner of the Laundromat that Might works at. Father of Yong and Husband to Min. Getting along in years, but still a hard worker. He's a Chinese immigrant who started from nothing and now runs his own business. It's decently successful, though only recently has it started actually gaining any substantial profit since Might joined on. Calls Might Golden-Boy.

Min Chao - The wife of Jiang, she's a sweet woman who Jiang worked hard to bring to America. She remained faithful to him, though she had a very hard time living while he was away. China wasn't particularly easy to get by in without a husband to support her and their child. Calls Might Strongman.

Yong Chao - The young son of Jiang and Min. Rather estranged to his father, since he was away for sixteen years of his life. He isn't lazy, but he isn't a particularly hard worker. It's to spite his father for being away so long, Yong was forced to find a job at the age of twelve to help his mother. Since he came to America he has become engrossed in American culture. Honestly hates Might, is the only person who calls him Arthur.

That is also fine, especially if it helps you develop whatever story arc you are telling. Just err on the cautious side of not overdoing it.

@VATROU Some heroes don't fly at the speed of sound. Might can't actually fly, just walk anywhere. And even then, he can't actually walk faster in the air. And getting there winded would be problematic, especially if he need to save lives in a rush. He also just got off a shift at work, so he doesn't know HOW late he already is. So he's a combination of already tired and doesn't want to get even more tired before he gets there. Y'know?

@LeeRoy It was supposed to sound like a joke. Though the situation does remind me of the Tick cartoon.. As he and Arthur often ride cabs or just jog along rooftops. That's what you need! A plucky sidekicks with a Moth suit!! Or at least someone who'll help pay rent.

@VATROU I need a foil who isn't already one of my own characters. Because y'all don't want Might's ACTUAL foil. Because he's an asshole. Among my cruelest, most intelligent, and most powerful characters.

Might is equally as physically strong, fast, durable, and energetic as the person he's fighting. Allowing him to fight anyone on equal ground, unless they have no actual physical abilities and is exclusively something other than that.

Doppler steals HALF (not all) the appearance of the person his skin has most recently touched, as well as any notable abilities and skills that they have. He also keeps an echo of the appearance of the person he touched before, making him fall into the uncanny valley.

Might is a Persona created by a man who lost his identity.

Doppler is a man who never had his own identity.

They're characters who check the character's positives with a different sort of positive. This also shows off their negatives.
