Name: Athena Age: 16 Species: +Anima Status/Job: Swordsman (When in Human form) Mercenary (When in Lamia form) Personality: Courageous, friendly, loyal Bio: Athena tends to keep to herself, her morals are unknown to everyone. But she likes to assist with things in any way she can. She neither likes to take sides. She spends her time doing things like training and trying to learn anything and everything. In her past, she had been treated like dirt and she took an oath to do everything in her power to help everyone. Appearance:
Bio: ”Huh? You wanted to know what happened to me? Are you serious? Is your master serious? And you say his a good guy? Ah, fine, fine. You really won’t go back on your words right?” Sora sighs, speaking to the man. ”What do I start with … Well, the village I came from, no anima, so, when I am born, with a weird mark, they think it’s strange. Once they see me change, they get all scared, calling me cursed and what not, throwing me out. Let’s see … I had to hunt, cook, live on my own. People try to pick on me, so I just hurt them enough so they know not to mess with me. You know, cut their arm almost off, but if they are lucky and hold it in place, it can heal. I’ve seen one of the guys I did it to, still using both hand a long time later. Well, they thought they could take me down, I just kicked him a couple of times and he ran. Sh***y d**kh**d! I called out to him. Since then, been travelling and seen some people trying to kill or rob from others. I end up travelling with them, helping them out for a bit, before I am on my own way. Then, well, you know the rest. I met you, protected you from pirates. Travelled with you and now you offer me to be, on paper, your property, hired as a body guard. Now then, you really, just plan to only make it I am “property” for the sake of stopping the idiots who try to beat on +Anima like myself for kicks. Just to “protect” me? And, you, you’ve been paid, living comfortably, living freely as his “property”, “hired” as a maid? Well, from how long we’ve travelled, I mean, you don’t seem to lie. Hell, too f**king honest sometimes. Well, fine, I’ll be your “property”. Give me a call whenever you need to travel. You don’t mind if I’m off doing my own thing now do you? Good. I’ll see you whenever.” Sora stood up walking away. ”Oh, wait a second…” Sora turned her head, asking the man, ”Should I call you “master” now? Or “Lord Velmont”? Or just simply Vel, like I was earlier? Anything is fine? As long as it’s not when around important people? Fine. Laters Vel!” She turned back, walking out of the “house” (more like castle) of Lord Velmont, one of the nobles in Astaria.
Personality: Sora's personality was hardened by the harsh reality of the world. Untrusting of others, she became competent in defending herself. Harsh and cold, she keeps others at a distance, usually. On the other hand, she is actually sweet and caring. Sora helps those in need. She is overall nice, but rarely ever shows it. From constantly pushing others away, she got herself a mean tongue, always speaking rudely. As such, those close to her have to try to decode her speech patterns.
Appearance:
Just the arms and the antenna are as the image.
Located on her right upper arm (Between shoulder and elbow).
it's also been a while for me since i last read +anima, but daaang it was good if there's anything you want me to change, let me know!!
Name: Felicity Selkin Age: 19 Species: Rabbit +Anima Status/Job: Looking for a paying job, if any, as she was disowned by her previous master recently Personality: Headstrong and sharp-tongued, Felicity is often blunt and speaks her mind, usually getting herself into trouble with humans and sometimes even other +Anima. She never fails to find a way to complain about her situation, regardless of what it is. However, she is easily flustered by males and becomes a quivering ball of hair - Felicity wraps her hair around her face and shrinks down when she gets nervous. Bio: (I vaguely remember them becoming +Anima from a life or death situation, but you mentioned they're born with their abilities and whatnot, so I'll write this based off of the latter) Felicity came from a few generations of servants, all contracted to the Louvaire family, a lower first-class family mostly made up of merchants. They were good to their servants, providing for their basic needs in exchange with help around the land, and, at least, did not terrorize over them. The youngest of three, Felicity was prepared for a life of serving the Louvaires, welcoming it even. She'd heard of stories about +Anima being tortured and found that she was very grateful of what her ancestors left her. Being really small, now standing at about 4'8", the Louvaire kids were fascinated by Felicity and her ears when they were young, coddling her as if she were an actual pet rabbit. She often told them off, disliking the way they interacted with her, but they kept treating her like a child. Though, when they all grew up and began focusing on other things, Felicity couldn't help but miss their teasing and their hugs and their conversations. Fast forward to a few days ago, and Felicity, along with her siblings and a few other relatives, were brought the bad news. The Louvaires were losing money fast after a member had gotten swindled, and they couldn't afford to keep many servants. Regretfully, the master of the house had to let them go and could only hope for their success in finding a new place. Felicity and the others separated, going down their own paths. They were supplied with enough to last a few days, but it was clear they'd need to act fast if they were to continue living. Felicity had to spend a few nights sleeping outside when she realized she no longer had funds for a room at an inn, a light blanket her only cover. During the day, she hid her ears and birthmark in an attempt to increase her chances of getting a job. No luck so far, though. Appearance:
Her normal form is just without her ears and her birthmark is the heart-like symbol on the scarf. It's found on her chest. She has very powerful legs, gifting her with the ability to jump high and run fast.
We still got a lot of Anima so I'll throw up another human if we want her:
Kit | 23 | Human
Job: Mercenary
Personality: Quick witted and adventure seeking, Kit fell into mercenary work more-so than she sought it out. It suites her well enough, and enough money will allow her to set aside her personal morals for the job. Despite this dangerous greed, Kit is a friendly and talkative young woman with a charismatic aura about her. In regards to Anima, she's ignorant. While she sees no reason for them to be second class citizens and can get along well enough with them, she can unintentionally be insensitive toward them. She'll happily work for an Anima, too, should they have the coin.
Bio: Kit was born as the youngest sibling to a large family in a relatively poor village. Money was scarce, but the community took care of one another and no one was ever hungry. Kit, however, passed time by stealing from neighbors. This would continuously get her in trouble, but she was so young that people tended to laugh it off. "She'll grow out of it," they said. However, she didn't: she grew into an adult and continued to steal. Less amused by her antics, her family and community grew angry and impatient with her.
When she was fifteen, she got caught stealing. Her punishment would have been to lose a hand; however, her oldest sister gave her a pack of food and clothes and sent her out of the village. Ever since then, Kit had been on her own. She hated feeling so along and vowed she would never steal again. But, most work seemed so dull to her. Until she met a band of mercenaries known as the Ravenwood Irregulars. It was a rag tag but large group filled with men, women, Anima, former bandits, ex-Military... She was enchanted and insisted on joining.
Hesitant but accepting, the Ravenwood Irregulars introduced her to merc life and taught her how to wield a sword. Today, she's still with the band. Her main role is traveling and finding jobs for them; she'll take on solo jobs as well (keeping the money for herself if she can).
Ok, I think this should be it (not sure if I will keep the name though)
"Gold goes in at any gate."
Name: Anna "The Traveling Merchant" Age: 24 Species: Human Status/Job: Merchant
Personality: Like most merchants, Anna is a smooth talker who loves both gold and rich customers. She is usually quite cheerful and energetic, but from time to time she can be a bit cheeky. Anna also has a talent for negotiating and most of all selling goods. Being a traveling merchant, she also knows how to fight well with a sword. A vital skill for someone carrying money and valuable goods around.
Anna was born into a family of Locksmiths. Although she was really good at it she knew that being a locksmith all her life wasn't what she wanted to do. Actually she was more interested in trading, making more money than as a locksmith. She decided to leave her home as soon as she turned 16 and become a traveling merchant until she would accumulate enough money to get her own shop.
As she traveled around she stocked up with some high quality goods from all around the kingdom. She had all kinds of interesting business contacts as well, some have been from royal families some from the underworld. It doesn't matter to her who her customer is as long as they had the money to pay for their stuff, +anima are also welcome.
The business was good and she continued to move on from city to city, now she arrived at the capital to try her luck at making money. When there's one thing sure about her it's that she has some really nice goods to sell in her backpack.
