| Identity | - Victor Stone/Cyborg
| Origin & Backstory | -
Pre Year 1- Victor Stone grew up in the moderately fortunate areas surrounding New York City, and when he was young, his mother left her family in order to be with another man. Growing up, his father would barely register his existance, instead focusing on his work with multiple Government Agencies. When he entered High School, he attempted to join various sports teams, though he failed at most everything except the swimming team, but lacked the motivation and drive to continue on after losing multiple swim meets.
Sometime before his High School graduation, he and his father have a falling out and Victor decides to join the Armed Forces.
Year 1- During his training as a Marine, Victor is in the rec area of the base during downtime when he watches a broadcast of a caped man saving an airplane, in in-flight no less. This event starts to grow cracks in his feelings of being a soldier, when "a guy like that" can do what he does on a daily basis, then what good is the common soldier? Though these ideas are quickly put to rest when he has one of his first ever heart to heart talks with his superiors, and he goes through said training without anything else spectacular occurring, of course until the invasion of Sta'rro...
Year 2- With the height of the supergroup craze levelling out, and the rise of the Supervillain coming into light, Victor was more or less forced into a unit of military men and women to fight those that threatened democracy and the American way of life as the Human Defense Force, and though the unit was short lived, Victor was later diagnosed with PTSD because of the actions involved and deaths of his former brothers and sisters in arms. This eventually drove him to drink and introduced him to alcoholism, despite the help and advice of other soldiers who went through the same thing. Eventually, his drinking problems caused the deaths of himself and a scouting group of several other individuals.
Year 3- At the beginning of the New Year, Victor Stone is reborn into the near perfect (and first known successful) man-machine fusion, at the behest of a secret military sect, which not even his superiors are allowed to know the name of. After learning of all his advanced systems, as well as learning (through a link between minds) that his cybernetic side is actually sentient, he revolts against his "creators" when they attempt to force him into killing an espionage traitor of America, and fights back, though he finds himself in the middle of the Middle East. As it turns out,his creators knew this might happen and had two "back-up"'s created in the form of Cyborgirl and Grid, both of whom were killed in the scouting wreck indirectly caused by Victor. As Victor travels the world trying to escape the clutches of Grid (who in his past life was a soldier who already had a tendency to shoot first), Cyborgirl puts his father into a hostage situation. When Victor and he reunite, they make amends after it is revealed that Vic's father had developed the schematics for Victor's new body (but didn't account for Moore's Law (every few years, technology will become even more powerful, and will at one point potentially surpass human processing power). Though Victor manages to kill Cyborgirl (not permanently), his father sacrifices himself to stop Grid, who has now become more machine than man. Now without a family, and hunted by the government, Victor has taken a job as a janitor at an NYC church led by a good man by the man of Ron Evers...
| Character Notes | -
Cast-
Billy Numerous- a homeless kid part of Ron Evers' congregation, he reveals his powers to Victor after the two become roommates at a homeless shelter and helps him get a job at the HIVE Nightclub as a security guard.
Brother Blood- Ron Ever's fellow pastor, he handles the more adult flock and commonly uses Revelation in his sermons. He does this to eventually form his own cult.
Cyborgirl- After "dying" at the hands of Victor, her body rebuilds itself, and she begins to stalk Victor, her fractured mentality believing that, due to their unique physiology, they belong together.
Ding Dong Daddy- an enigmatic leader of a ring of car thieves that like to boost the original machine to impossible levels and then use said machine to commit anti-government crimes.
Grid- a very vicious mercenary turned cybernetic beast that is u ntiring in his mission for vengeance against Victor for both killing and creating him. Deep down, he gas a desire to die, but can't bring himself to do anything about it.
Mr. Orr- Victor's "Thunderbolt Ross". A military man who was going to be his superior before he abandoned them. Now he has to find and retrieve Victor or risk not only a dishonorable discharge, but death from the unknown leaders of the project.
Ron Evers- an honest preacher whom Victor kind of befriends, until Brother Blood corrupts him and preys on his memories of childhood abuse, and he learns Victor had something similar happen to him, so he tries to corrupt Victor
Agent- a secret agent for the US government who learns of Victor's existance and attempts to blackmail him into doing his dirty work, eventually he is killed by Brother Blood and his corpse is used to bring forth a demonic entity and used as it's vessel, enslaved by Brother Blood (so long as it gets to eat people).
| Powers & Abilities |-
Cybernetics- Victor's body was rebuilt into the most technologically advanced machine on Planet Earth, because of how badly his body was destroyed, he is made up of about 80% cybernetics. Some of the blatant human parts that still remain are his left eye, half his face, and half his spinal column (and by association his rib cage)
Superstrength- Due to his cybernetic enhancements, Victor lift 2 tons (40,000 lbs)
Durability- Victor's endoskeletal cybernetics allow him a level of protection. Anything from a handgun bullet to semi automatic weapon fire will only penetrate an inch into his body, fire can melt his synthetic skin, and he can be dented by anyone stronger than him)
Computer Interface Systems- Victor's right eye can hack into any software at a glance (though depending on how powerful the system is, depends on how fast it takes him) similarly, he can do so with his hands
Vision Enhancement- Victor's right eye can see through all visual spectrums of light, provide a HUD system (complete with medical records, DMV information, ect), and schematics of his own body (don't forget a clock).
Super Processor- Victor's cybernetic mind has the processing power and speed of one of the most powerful computer systems on Earth
Sound Amplification- By applying his index finger to another surface, Victor can hear what goes on in another room, though to a lesser degree if the room is soundproof. He can also do this in other ways (see the movie Eagle Eye with Shia LeBouf)
Heel Wheels- Victor is in possession of wheels inside his ankles, allowing him to "run" at speeds topping out at 100 mph at their fastest
Finger Laser- By converting his left fingers inside out, Victor can fire lasers capable of penetrating diamonds
Sonic Cannon- by converting his right arm, Victor now has a weapon similar to a rail gun. He can convert solar energy or thermal energy (from fires and other sources of heat) into a high powered laser weapon, or flashlight.
JetBack- Victor can extend part of his back to reveal a jetpack, which he can thus use to fly a sub-sonic speeds.
| How is this character different? | -
I wish to go against the grain with this interpretation of Cyborg in that he is now homeless, family-less and his cybernetics are sentient, the two being in a (kind of) symbiotic relationship. Instead of the lightheadedness and always joking version of the cartoon, this Victor will be darker and rather angry. He's essentially the only superhero in town, but isn't yet an actual hero as he will start off by committing crimes, and partaking in dangerous behaviors. He will have very little (if any) positive influence in his life.
| What is your goal with this character? |- I want to write a story that straddles the fine line between science and faith, and this is one of the perfect opportunities to do so. On one hand, wryly have Victor who is living in a homeless shelter and starting to believe in a higher power, yet you have him being kept alive by a technological breakthrough. Another theme I wish to convey is the breaking of Victor's basic being. He will slowly break everything he stands for, before becoming a full on member of the Fearsome Five and anti-villain of sorts.

TIME- 00:00
POWER LEVELS- 100%
DETACH CHARGING CABLE TO CONSERVE POWER
In the dead of night, Victor did as the software told him and let go of a power cable he had used to sap the power from a 240 volt wall outlet, the only one in the single bedroom dorm room of the homeless shelter. He was staring aimlessly out the small window, reflecting upon his life ever since he was reborn as a cyborg.
MEMORY CACHE REWIND INITIATED
The air felt good on his synthetic skin, and despite the sheer amount of speed the wind and he were going, he was unblinking, his left eye constantly red, partially due to anger, but very much due to to it's cybernetic nature.
Behind him, soaring through the air, but gradually losing pace with him as he flew almost unsported, aside from the technological marvel that was his jetpack.
"Jesus, why do these people want me dead so bad?" Victor asked, though his voice was carried away with the wind.
MAYBE THEY DON'T WANT US TO FALL INTO ENEMY HANDS? - the sentience of the cybernetics suggested from within where his mind transitioned from biological to mechanical.
"Now that's just being optimistic," Victor snorted as he turned his body to try and outmaneuver the rocket,
VICTOR STONE, I AM INCAPABLE OF EMOTIONAL USAGE,"
"Really now?" Victor asked sarcastically, "just shut up and blow up the rocket," Victor order, and he pointed his left fingers at the speeding aerodynamic, bullet shaped missile.
DEPLOYING FINGER ROCKETS- INDEX FINGER 1
Separating from his hand, his left index finger activated it's tiny thrusters, and through his cybernetic eye he watched it as it launched into the missile and detonated, blowing the missile up.
THREAT TEMPORARILY NEUTRALIZED
"Wait," Victor paused in mid-flight above the landscape, "temporarily?"
In the distance, Victor could make out a grey fighter jet...
NOW
Victor looked over at his bunk bed, he slept on the base bunk while a ginger haired kid was rooming with slept on the top. Quietly, he slipped on his work uniform, which consisted of a black muscle shirt and jeans and quietly left the dorm so Bill could sleep off his previous night's drunken stupor.
Victor decided to take the stairs instead of the elevator, being on the third floor of the five floor homeless shelter.
"So what's on my itinerary today, huh?" Victor asked as he hung his head, making his way downstairs,
"Nothing is scheduled, Victor"
"Maybe because i'm a multi-billion dollar technological marvel, rebelling against it's creators and am now aimless," Victor scoffed at himself as he was on the first floor now and rounded a corner to the custodial closet, retrieving his keys to unlock the door,
"Not to mention a janitor," Victor said with a sigh.
