Alyssa & Adam De Franklin

The screeching of airplane tires could be heard as the private jet touched down on the runway and her eyes were flashed out of the window. After her breakup with Oscar before the holidays, she needed a nice getaway from all the drama and everything that followed along with it. She indeed did have a great time in Buenos Aires as she danced, had a nice fling and even got drunk a few nights. But now, she was back within the confides of New York, the Upper East Side. Alyssa waited until the plane came to a halt before standing up with a sigh and getting off of the plane, meeting her brother right there on the runway, as he ran up to her and hugged her.

"You're not leaving the next holiday without me. Understood?" Adam said while linking his arm with his sister's and they walked to the nearby limo and got inside. "So, how was Buenos Aires?" Adam asked as Alyssa nodded her head with a smile. "It was nice. I needed the getaway. How was the holidays with mom and dad?" She remarked then asked him as Adam made a face. "Not so great. The usual bickering at dinner and such." Adam answered with the shrug as the trunk of the limo finally closed and they were well on their way back to their habitat, their home.

Along the way, Alyssa and Adam caught up with each other, shared a few laughs and Alyssa was even comfortable now talking to him about her breakup with Oscar. As their limo pulled up into the driveway at their penthouse, Adam noticed that their parents town car wasn't there and there was no telling where they were right about now. Alyssa got out and looked around, inhaling and exhaling as she eyed Adam. "I missed this air." Adam chuckled as he walked beside her now. They reached their floor by elevator and immediately walking off, Alyssa called their butler, Geoff, who scurried up towards her.

"Welcome back, Ms. Alyssa." He said with grace as she took off her jacket and draped it over him and handed him her purse. "Spare me the welcome back greeting." She remarked with sass while walking past him now as she slumped down on the couch with a groan. "You can't talk to Geoff like that." Adam said while standing beside her as she perked up. "Sorry. A bit jet lagged." She countered while standing up with a smile. "Care to go for a walk?" Adam nodded his head as she giggled, clapping for Geoff to return her coat to her, which he did.

"We're going for a walk. We'll be right back." Alyssa said with a smile then scrunched her face up as they made their way to the lobby and outside, now walking on the sidewalk and heading towards Central Park. A place her and Oscar use to visit all the time and a shrew of emotions were coming over her now but she still had a smile on her face - No matter what.

Oscar & Imogen-Valentine Chessyre

"It looks nice." A voice, laced with boredom, repeated the same phrase it had been saying for the past three hours. The siblings had been shopping for suitable attire for their parent's annual dinner party all day, seeing as it was that night. The eldest of the two, Oscar, had chosen and bought his suit within a matter of minutes, ordering for it to be delivered to their penthouse that afternoon. Imogen, on the other hand, had been trying on dress after dress in the hopes of finding the perfect one. "Oscar. You say it looks 'nice' one more time and I swear that I will buy the whole shop and make you pay for it." The girl hissed, twirling in the mirror. "I don't understand why you had to bring me along as apposed of one of your girl friends." Imogen rolled her eyes, whispering something to the store helper before disappearing behind the curtain to remove the dress. "It is only because Victoria and Miley are busy choosing their dresses without me. So I must find the most gorgeous, stunning, jaw-dropping one to show them what they missed. "

Stepping out of the shop hours later, the pair walked down the street with Imogen chatting away. She had grown used to being the talkative one due to the fact that ever since Oscar's break up with Alyssa, he had been withdrawn, moody and quiet. She knew that his previous girlfriend would be returning to Manhattan today, and her stomach twisted at the thought of her and her family coming to the event that night. She had loved Alyssa, but their split had been messy and the two were not on good terms. At these thoughts, her conversation trailed off and her lips pulled down in a frown.

"C'mon. Let's go grab ice cream, yeah?" Oscar's voice, now holding more cheer in it than it had in a while, brought the previous smile back onto Imogen's face. The pair knew where to get the best ice cream; a small, secluded shop hidden amongst the greenery of Central Park. As per usual, Imogen ordered strawberry and Oscar vanilla- both of them laughing as it began to melt and drip down their chins.

Alyssa & Adam De Franklin

As the duo waltzed around Central Park, basking in the glory that it had to offer. Alyssa's arm was linked with Adam's as she looked at him with a raised brow. "You're thinking about something. Spill it." She sort of nudged him as Adam stammered before speaking clearly. "Are you going to the annual dinner party hosted by Oscar's family?" Adam asked in a nervous tone as Alyssa stayed quiet for a moment then smiled and looked back at him. "I'll go if you go." She remarked while stopping and standing in front of him with a soft smile. "Well, I was invited." He responded while walking past her as she scoffed and folded her arms then marched after him.

"Did Oscar invite you?" Alyssa asked while Adam stood there with a raised brow. "No. It was his sister, Imogen." He walked over to the ice cream merchant set up there in the park and order himself chocolate and Alyssa vanilla, her favorite. Adam handed her the cone as she looked off in the distance and gasped, grabbing onto Adam's coat. "They're here?! Why are they here out of all places?!" Alyssa asked as she turned heel but Adam grabbed her and muttered. "You can't avoid him forever, you know. Maybe he's forgotten about it and moved on." Alyssa sighed softly because she honestly haven't moved on. Yes, she went out of the country for the holidays but she could only think about Oscar.

Adam basically had to drag her over towards the other duo, no matter how much she pleaded him not to. Upon them bumping into Oscar and Imogen, Adam was the first one to speak. "Hey there, you two. What are the odds, right?" Adam said as he sort of nudged Alyssa to say something. Alyssa licked her cone then looked and saw that Oscar had the same flavor and tossed hers in a nearby trash can. "Uhm, so, what are you two doing here? Heard about the dinner party tonight, any room for one more?" Alyssa asked while doing a small hair flip. "I can understand if there isn't." She muttered while looking at Imogen and occasionally glancing at Oscar, whom she didn't hate but just didn't feel like talking to him at the moment.
