Replaying pokemon yellow (well, I had blue but same difference) is kind of weird. Pidgey evolved and still doesn't know a flying type move, you can only have 20 items on at a time so you have to go to the PC, among other things that make it clearly not the best pokemon by any stretch of the imagination. Still fun to replay for old times sake though.

I'm not familiar with wonder trading. I didn't do the Omega Ruby/Alpha Saphire games. Didn't really care for Ruby/Saphire in general.

My Shinx didn't learn an electric move aside from Charge until it was evolved.

It's basically a lottery. You put in a pokemon, and get a random one back from someone else. I've traded with people in the US, Japan, Poland, lots of places.

Mainly it'll be what I call 'chain trading', where you trade what you get until you get something you like/want. Also a lot of fucking ComMons, that you don't need though. My girlfriend got a level 100 mew, and a shiny scizor.

Probably. The running/gunning one, yeah?

Probably, since as far as I'm aware I'm the only one doing rulings on that... sounds like I may have messed up somewhere. Too late to change things now, but will check back and see if I can learn anything from it.

I do like Charmander though.

My last team for my Pokemon playthrough was...

Venomoth, Espeon, Umbreon, Flygon, Ninetails, and Milotic.

I spent a lot of time breeding them too, so they had exceptionally high stats.

Matter of perception really. Any decision you make is yours as judge. Same thing I told Innue. People judge differently anyway, and Melon didn't die so. Hahahah

Wonder training I think is where you go to a building and search for a pokemon and it gives it to you in exchange for one of your own without having to link cable and all that. EDIT: Guess not.

Don't know why pokemon not learning their type moves is so annoying to me.

I have pikachu, charmeleon, nidorino, mew (from the mew glitch), and pidgeotto. The last slot is for whatever hm slave I need or if I find another I want. I already trained a haunter in other games so not sure if to do that again.

I've never really been into breeding. I like getting moves bred into Pokemon, like Flare Blitz Charmander, but the IV/EV deal never really captured me.

I like Flygon though. Lots of folks wanted it to get a mega along with Luxray

Not necessarily a building. Just the PlayNav thing. Hahahah.

Didn't win though either >_< that was checkmate in most estimations.

Don't worry about it though Pollen, as Rilla said, different judges different ideas.

I think I bred like.... 250+ Venonats to get a Tinted Lens Venonat with high IVs and the right personality. I actually had bred one that had perfect IVs, but was unfortunately did not have Tinted Lens.

I like Luxray's looks but he is only medium at best in terms of power for me. I don't like the look of his mega either, unfortunately. I have pokemon box with a lot of pokemon I'd like to train such as mawile.

Half the fun for me is giving my pokemon stupid names, my Rhydon called Pointyhead is a pretty solid example.

Yeah I have a friend who invests more time into pokemon than anyone should, he's usually about twenty to thirty levels over-levelled for each gym with every pokemon (before exp-share got rigged, he plays second gen I believe) and spends literally hours looking for certain natures.

Luxray doesn't have a mega yet. But I'm not too fussed if he doesn't get one.

Maybe one day, if Pokemon gives us multiple save files, I'll use one to breed.

Do any of you us PokeBank?

I name my Pokemon after what they look like as well as family. My starter is always named munchie, after my son.

Birdbrain is better.

I don't see how being overpowered during the main game could be fun. The most I did was EV training (or was it IV?) to get better special attack or something. Don't know how to check the perfect stats whatever.

I was thinking of this: This

I figured Poke Bank will cost 300 hundred dollars over my lifetime if I don't die prematurely, but it will be worth it. XD

Hahah. At 5.33 a month, it's pretty dope. And I figured out how NY girlfriend can use it without me paying again.

I never overlevel because I don't focus on training rather than breeding. I typically also play for aesthetics over power, but I do try to make the ones I choose for my 6 the best they can. :D

Tinted Lens Venomoth with Bug Buzz, Sleep Powder, and Quiver Dance. Such fun.
