Good. Gooooooooooooooood.

Zephyrion can then be the asshole to flood the world, bringing us full circle and establishing that we now have a flying, inescapable Kraken this time around!

Haha. He'd make a good Kraken, don't you think? Kraken was more serious and a little less friendly, but otherwise they're very similar.

How does Demigod of Evil sound, everyone? Not Chaos, not darkness, but evil. An embodiment of everything immoral, lustful, hateful. Everything bad for mortals. His first portfolio would be (Murder)

I'd be probably very poetic and descriptive when writing for him, to show in many words how truly dark this creature (saying person doesn't sound right for what I have in mind) is. He makes Vestec look cuddly.

Really? A demigod to0?

In that case, we can both have it.

Although, I really want the Domain of Evil, but there are many dark domains. How about the Domain of Darkness? We have a God in that domain, but I think the player has deserted, and regardless it could fill many of the same places as Evil could, if you take it in a different direction than Julkolfyr did.

I'm sure we can work something out if you make a Demigod. I wouldn't like it, but we can share Evil if we must. And straight-up inventing a new domain is always an option. Hell, maybe our characters can be related: the Twin Brothers of Plague, sons of Vestec and Mammon

@Hael

*cringes at how much is being forcibly spoiled by this conversation*

For very good reasons, neither the Darkness domain nor the brother idea are ideal for said demigod.

If you can help me think of a domain that would include such things as (Treachery) and (Power) as in the rulership sort of power, that would actually be an acceptable alternative to the Evil domain for me.

I know exactly what the guy's powers and general traits will be like, but I made the mistake of deciding upon such traits prior to inventing a Domain and Portfolio. So now instead of building personality around powers I have the considerably harder reversal of that situation.

PM me. We'll discuss it and it will only be spoiled for me, instead of everyone.

@Antarctic Termite

In the latest collab, I took the liberty of assuming that Maize continued to follow Slough and party. Hope that goes fine with you. Do you intend to respond to this part of my recent post, or can I just assume that Maize went with Ventus and that Jvan didn't see fit to talk after they landed by the river mouth?

If you want to respond then no rush; I'm just wondering whether Ventus can go home yet or if there's still a need for him to stay down on Galbar.

Maize is not much more than an NPC with an imperative to follow Slough, so taking liberties with its actions is perfectly fine by me. I think my next post that catches up to the latest creation wave will have a little Maize skit responding to the Venomweald, but Ventus is free to follow his own plot elsewhere; Jvan will talk to him when or if he so chooses to visit.

@BBeast Ah shit whoops, looks like I wasn't paying attention. Once I have a laptop I'll go edit that so that it makes Stone Chipper's true identity more secretive, if that suits you?

I've PM'd you about it.

@Dawnscroll, that sounds vaguely similar to Reathos' crows, with their Lesser Eyes of Reathos.

Some time I'll actually read the IC posts.

P.S. @Skyrte Good. It will be maybe a week or two before I finish my current arc, so no big rush.

@Muttonhawk et al., about fire. Flints only produce sparks when struck against iron or a related substance. They do this because the hard flint shaves off tiny, tiny flecks of iron, and that iron (hot from being rubbed against the flint, and with an enormous surface area to volume ratio) oxidises violently in the air, making sparks. Flint-on-flint won't do it. You'll need the right kinds of rock.

If you really think fire is a good idea very soon, I can have it be invented and proliferated in my next post. Teknall is probably a few years behind everyone else at this point (he can catch up in my next post), so it works retroactively.

@BBeastWood against wood works.

Also if you introduce fire to them -- do you mind doing it "back in time"? I already mentioned them using fire a long time ago.

It does? Are you sure? Source?

Also, just putting this WiP here for any feedback. Much that is in it still needs to be done ICly.

Doing it a long while back may be tedious. Fire is a big thing, granted with pomp and ceremony. Would the Hain have already discovered fire on their own?

Where did you mention the fire?

@BBeastMy Cherry Eater posts -- the one creating him mentions staring into fire &c. IIRC.

Honestly -- yeah, they probably would have "invented" fire. At least, they would have -- captured it. Lightning strikes a tree, they take a branch, build a fire and so on.

@The Irish Tree Belvast feels like the charismatic, casual player character in a huge and absurd video game with our gods as NPCs, and I love him.

I'm just really glad his backstory isn't planned to be furry fanfiction.

@KabenSaal Legio as they are now has some pretty interesting traits. I like the idea that they're the product of mortals forcing their way into divinity by the technology of a previous world; I didn't think about it, but now that it's been brought up I'm surprised nobody's done it before.

I don't know what this means, but Allure encountering Lifprasil is an idea I am more than willing to entertain.

I'd read the hell out of this.

Let's all be #sexysquad

I vote we all pool our efforts and make a 100-Might Holy Site in the shape of a catwalk runway.

@VecYou don't want that hot, sweaty, manly arse? You don't want that steamy Hercules-on-Hercules action? You don't want the literal, spiritual and metaphorical symbolism of having the god of light and the god of occult darkness using their mighty manhoods and forming a single yin-yang?

There is nothing worth saving here.
