Life: Species

<Snipped quote>

Name: Dov racial - Dovah individual, singular/plural
Lifespan: Anywhere between 600 to 1200 years

All feedback is appreciated.

I read all of that and, can I just say, that was fucking amazing? Seriously.

Would you mind if Vulamera spent like 15 paragraphs studying them, whenever they become common across Galbar?

@DawnscrollThat sounds about like Vestec to me.
@HaelNo. I'm just a guy pressing buttons when this one book tells me to. I only speak Chinese, anyway.

Sauron and Morgoth/Melkor have the exact same planning and style of manipulation.

Morgoth through lies and whispers and stealing (See Dawnscroll's list of his accomplishments), and Sauron through his rings and other such things. The Nazgul, Haradrim, Numenoreans, Saruman, Easterlings, and Celembrimbor are all examples of this.

I'm interested in how (or if) they're related to elementals.

Specifically the "elemental energy" that their hearts generate. I take that phrase to mean the universal power that Zephyrion made by combining Astarte's pure magic with his own energy and then spreading the resulting force around the universe?

Dragons have been on the works by me even before you created the elementals. At that time, I didn't think much about the type of energy that they would use so i just dubbed it "elemental" and left it at that. So, they aren't really related to elementals but if you want to, we can make something happen here ;>

Why would I mind? Every species is fair game after it's been properly introduced. The only thing that separates Vulamera from studying dragons is to somehow manage to get them out of Ull's plane x'D

Hmmmm.

Vulamera will be creating a subsection of dragons by imbuing a small part of the globe with her powers.

I think.

Not sure yet.

*shrug*

I'm indifferent to the idea. It just sounded like a clear reference to me. I also felt like asking since "elemental energy" seemed like an odd thing for Ull to be putting in his creatures.

How ok is it to set up a race that evolved to Homo Erectus levels without spending might? I will actually use might later to make the species intelligent, but this will be in one turn or two, and for me it will just feel odd to suddenly come in and say "oh btw, these caves are inhabited by a certain sort of people who have been there for a long while"

Well, yeah, but I always thought that there was a base "energy" that already existed in the universe, before any other god created different types of energy. That, was the type of energy my dragons use, just the basest, most pure form of energy the universe has to offer. Maybe that's just me though, and i was always wrong about that specific thing...

@BBeast@Kho@Fabulous Knight Not sure if it counts, but Logos gifted the knowledge of fire to man. They mightve brought it over when Illy and Co stole them.

Otherwise, I'd like to be refunded my one freepoint. :P

The humans know how to make fire. Nobody else does yet.

Before Zeph, THERE WAS NOTHING!

The purpose imbued into his creation was that he would ensure Change would blossom in the nascent world, for nothing could ever be without such a fundamental force. Naturally, in all his brilliance Zephyrion managed to imbue the raw power of change into the universe's seed, thus creating a force that would persist eternally and function autonomously.
Zeph's Sheet

I would presume that's what you're talking about. I'm perfectly fine with that from an OOC perspective, but Zephyrion IC will not be pleased that lesser beings (especially those created by other gods) are using his primal power. This could be an interesting interaction.

Will I be the great dragonslayer in this Divinus as well?

Glad to see that this is doing good! So Mardox had brought me back from the dead to see if I could join in as a demi-god.

Of course, get a CS up and present to everyone and we should be able to incorporate you soon enough. This is the prime time for demigods to start appearing methinks.

@Kho So question, how do followers effect the generation of Might (and/or FPs)? Like if they have some sort of weekly/monthly/yearly ritual like a communion generate Might? And if it does, do the amount of followers influence the amount of points generated?

For demigods or gods?
If you mean demigods, it's purely based on how many worshippers they have - which should be decided ICly, but if it isn't, will be rolled for.

If you mean with regards to gods, I'm not currently open to increased Might generation from followers. We're not at a civilisational level to allow for such things anyway, the populations are still too low, no religions or Prophets or real formalised worship of gods. Nothing much beyond recognition and awe/fear of gods.

@KabenSaal We've reviewed your CS and are unanimously agreed that the idea is very good and has great potential. We are therefore accepting the idea, but with emphasis on what Cyclone said: you need to tweak the CS slightly in order for it fit in. Nothing much, and I'm sure @Cyclone will be more than happy to assist you.

More importantly, I just want to emphasise that the writing quality (not length of posts, quality of posts) for this RP is above other RPs, and we like to harbour a culture where good quality writing is appreciated, and everyone is encouraged and supported to improve their writing. I therefore want you to come into this RP with the aim of having as much fun as possible, because the only way a person can improve themselves is when they have something to gain, and nothing is more exhilerating than the rush a well-written post will give you ;) trust me on that.

I'd like you to, if you can, install Grammarly and comb through your CS for any grammatical errors, that should help you a great deal in that department.

With that, I say to you: Welcome to this messed up RP, with its messed up Pantheon (and more messed up player base *looks at @Rtron*)

Good lord people, my country has gone full bananas and is starting to trip on itself. Might have my post consistency hurt because of it, the last two were already rushed

Also, new page thing, I just love doing these :3
Use it well Lif, cause this is the last time Ilunabar is helping a non-dying hero

Also, @Kho
I will ask again, is it okay to describe the evolution of a species across the eons before spending might to turn the species into intelligent humanoids? I kinda want to start working it now instead of making it sudden when I get the might to create them.
