@Cyclone Just to confirm, Logos's tower/forge of creation is known as the Citadel, and Zephy's floating castle is the Celestial Citadel, right?

So, as it's implied through the text, the Citadel is host to variety of automated defenses and offenses which would hamper a god's assault on it, giving Logos time to return should he leave it. And if he's at thencontrols... good luck. It serves as his seat of power and the backup archive for all of his creations, along with the necessary means of creation for his creations.

Other than being a big fancy palace for Zephyrion to kick his blustery feet up... what does the Celestial Citadel do?

I dunno, Genghis Khan was excellent at killin'

Also, I feel like Lifprasil is going to end up disliking Toun. Using sentients as toys, or slaves to the gods' whims is something he seriously dislikes. And he really has to hold his tongue against Zeph in this next collab.

It's a mobile fortress that can go wherever Zephyrion wants it to. The giant gem that crowns its top is something like a conduit for Zephyrion's already immense control over the air and weather, and that's what allows him to blow the Citadel from place to place. No real automated defenses, but Lif's colony of guards is up there and soon I'll make a holy order as well.

Edit: Oh, it's also stupidly big if I forgot to mention that. And Ilunabar also lives in it.

Okay guys, tomorrow I'm heading for the US for a week (YaaaaaaY!!!!) but I don't know if I'll take my laptop or not. Aside from that, I also don't know if there will be any Wifi where I'll be sleeping. So I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with the IC or OOC, leave alone if I'll be able to post. Just a heads up.

Also for those who've been to NYC, any suggestions of what a 20y old foreigner absolutely has to see at night?

Empire State Building; complete tourist trap, but worth the wait at night.

For dinner, I would recommend Eataly or Rosie O'Grady's. Both are superb, and extremely affordable. Both very unique one of a kind experiences.

Avoid Time Square; tourist trap with no redeemable value.

Various clubs and bars to your taste are open all times of night. Just stay in manhatten if you can.

I'm not really a going out person. And considering I'm only 20 so not allowed to drink in the US, I don't think that bars would be my thing. However, would you say that Manhatten is safe enough for a late-evening stroll?

NO.

Not at least to us Americans. I mean, we consider Brazil and Venezuela to be the equivalent of mad max, 3rd world cesspool imploding example of hell.

No offense.

But as someone who visits NYC regulalrly, I would never travel alone at night. And. Ertainly never for a 'stroll'. Have a destination in mind and make a beeline to it. If anyone speaks with the same accent as you, or anything thats not distinctly American, do NOT trust them.

...I realize how bad that sounds, but genuinely ely, NYC, at night, alone, foreigners? No good comes from it.

@Cyclone
Ok people, I'm a bit on a rush because my silly mother decided to go on a protest despite the fact she can barely move and the thing will be one of the most dangerous bits of this whole crisis.

Eitherway, I have some proposals on the map.

Toun talked about "Vein like" explosions right?

I feel like this would be a god excuse to make some islands around the sea. Furthermore, between the mountains, since the ground would still be probably high, we could make a swamp no?

Also, shouldn't the access to be easier for a creature like Slough? Going trough the changing plans seems risky...

What do you call a swamp? A mangrove forest? A bunch of little marshy islands with alligators and algae and stuff?

To my knowledge we don't have that sort of stuff yet. I added the Golden Barrens because it's basically just grass and maybe some distant relatives of stuff on the Gilt Savannah, but I think someone would have to actually make a swamp. It's a cool idea though; maybe I'll have Zeph do it.

Also, shouldn't the access to be easier for a creature like Slough? Going trough the changing plans seems risky...

Well, IC we stated that the Fractal Sea touches the Changing Plains so I can't just move it further inland for the sake of easier travel. Slough would have passed through before there was Grot and his horde of chaos. Or went around.

@Rtron Is there even anything inherently dangerous about the Changing Plains themselves? I just imagined them as badlands with the landforms changing. No evil aura of death or Mordor stuff.

Edit: Good point on the islands. Assume that there's lots of little ones too small to be on the map, but I think I'll add a few big ones scattered throughout the various seas when I make the pretty version of the map.

@Cyclone Yup, a Mangrove swamp like Marajo Island (Which stands between the Amazon River and the sea). I will probably get on it later, I just want to know if its okay for me to consider that the bit between the mountains is shallower than the two seas.

Aside from the chance to be horribly lost or crushed by changing platforms if you're really unlucky, nope. Nothing inherently dangerous or evil about them.

@Double Capybara You mentioned homo erectus-type creatures. Are they going to be anything like these guys by any chance? I just want to know to see if there is any point in me creating them (or at least, creating them from scratch rather than having them be a sub-species of whatever you have in mind)
