There's a glint of madness in his frenzied gaze, an unsettling calm on his face despite the raging storm in his chest. A hushed silence envelopes the room until the first rocket, a girl with biggest smile on her face, begins to clap. And then there is a cacophony of cheers and the rockets toss their hats into the air in a gesture of victory. This would be their lucky break and finally, after the disbandment and years and years of failure, they had a purpose, had finally struck gold.

They had Mew and they had harnessed its power. The possibilities were truly endless.

No longer would they be known as petty thieves or scumbags out for money, no, they would become Gods and history itself would be rewritten. One by one, the cities and inhabitants would be brought to their knees.

So is everyone here :)? Majority of you guys voted for starting before the calamities, so we'll be starting on the day everything goes to hell, a few hours before the first wave of calamities. Before we begin, I'd like for us to establish character relationships. It's cool if you want your character to meet everyone for the first time when we start, but I figured having some pre-existing relationships would help us get the ball rolling. How long your characters have known someone else's depends on you guys. Haha, a day before this all happens, sure! Friends for several years who ran into each other again by chance? Go ahead xD!

Rai is currently in Hoenn to take on the gyms but has only been in the region for approximately two weeks. She managed to nab one badge during those two weeks. Does anyone want their chara to be her travel buddy ^^? I'd be more than happy to brainstorm with ya.

It probably would be good if at least most of us were around the same area (probably the same city) so it only makes sense/would make the RP go smoother we each found someone else in our group. And since there's six of us, we can each pair up, if we wanted to.

As for how Aimee and Rai met. Would Aimee enjoy taking photos of Pokemon xD? If Rai saw her snapping away, she'd definitely approach Aimee and start up a conversation. The gal's no photographer but her dad's a wildlife photographer so she'd be pretty interested in what Aimee does and stuff. If you like, they could have met a week or so ago or something like that?

And as for how we're going to bring everyone together ^^! I was thinking we'd be starting in Mauville City or Rustboro and our characters are brought together due to an upcoming Pokemon Musical somewhere in the city. (Or we can pick another event xD like some famous magician visiting and doing a show.)

only issue with this is that Willow would have to bum a ride. As willows flying type pokemon is the size of her head. Not able to lift or carry things yet.

i dont know how to make Willow go to a show either. THough she would be fascinated with a magic show.. she also gets really uncomfortable around big crowds.

maybe she got split up somehow from him and made her way to Mauville alone?? By following his trail??

sadly for Willow that would be a bit off. She's pretty much lived her entire life in the woods and stuff. She's never seen a bus before, has no idea how they work, and would probably stay far away from them.

She's legit a half feral human person.

The only way i could see this working is if she just so happened to wander into the city on the same day.
