@Eviledd1984Meldarion raised an eyebrow at the leader, glad he didn't need to spill blood but less than thrilled this guy thought it was Meldarion's choice to let them join. Why wouldn't this guy just go and ask though. "I take it Manik didn't let you join earlier? It's my job but I'm not paying."

Noticing the fear of the guard post Kormac started to wonder about the sanity of wandering with a possibly wanted man. Turning him over could cause even more trouble if he escaped, he decided that it was best if he watched him until he was sure Xavier was in the wrong. "If you dont want to be seen get in the back of the caravan, i can say i'm bringing the horse to for a friend further down the road."

Xavier shook his head getting a clock form the bag wrapped around his horse covering himself,Since they were a few feet away form the guard post he would be hopefully a unknown person with a caravan.The guard post was coming closer when finally getting close enough for a guard stopping them in their tracks.

"Stop right their state your business?" The guard said wanting either of them to speak.

Kormac turns to face the guard, "Im an ale merchant, recently sold most of my stock in the plains around Bravado and i am looking to travel to Meche to re-stock on some of my preferred brews and visit family. This man here is my bodyguard, he deals with the ruffians that come with selling ale.". During this exchange he keeps his hands on the reigns and far from any pockets, attempting to assure the guard he was not reaching for any sort of weapon.

"Oh i see but could i see your faces for a moment?..just to make sure their is no spies coming inside of our lands" The guard said politely coming towards the two.The guard with the light had a piece of paper with a drawing of Xavier first looking at Komac before looking at Xavier who was hoping that he would not recognizable to the guard.

@Eviledd1984Meldarion narrowed his eyes questionably. "Give the mute to the king?" he echoed. "I was hired to do a job for a caravan. I know of no mute." he said. These boys were either mistaken or crazy, or they knew something he didn't. He was beginning to think it was the latter, and he wasn't sure he liked that.

Xavier shook his head now moving his horse away form the caravan like his feelings we're hurt. While they riding along the Meche road sooner or later Xavier got the courage to move back close to the caravan.

Kormac decided to stay quiet for now, he didn't want to antagonize Xavier and he is comfortable with silence. If issue arose with Xavier he would address it then, no need to seek it out.

The next morning the sun would be let out into the window and the loud crowing of the chickens outside that would awaken him.Their was a loud knock on his door,It was the maid who was checking up on him and wanting to see if he wanted anything to eat.

Xavier was riding along with the caravan as the two got closer towards the first town called Baal.It was a farming town that was near the border and is the subject of consent attacks form bandits and robbers.Once they got into the town the mute could see people staring at them making him moan softly feeling uncomfortable around the prying eyes.

Have it ready downstairs" he called to her, before getting his weapon and armor on. He slipped his cloak on, and strode towards the door to get his awaiting food.

Kormac turns to Xavier, "If you ever need to dodge the private eye then you can hide away in the back, but for tonight you might need to get comfortable. The Jarvis' are getting tired and we need to stop for the night.". Kormac made a mental note to ask about Xavier further at the bar, he needed to at least learn something about his travelling companion.

When moving closer to the center of town they could see a group of guard circled around a wooden poteum with a young woman standing on it."All of your souls can be saved if only you repent...repent and your soul will be joined with the great creator" The young woman spoke wearing a bright white armor with a insignia with a dove dove on top of a red circle background.

Xavier was nervous around these people wanting to move his horse away form the young woman."Repent repent...repent and be absolved of your sins" She yelled out pointing to him making him turn his head away form them.
