Intro
A flame flickered on the candle, barely producing any light in the dark room. A group of four men stood around the candle. One man peeked outside the window and smirked.
"I see some scavengers, boys." The man said. Another man looked at him and nodded. The other two men stood up and grabbed their gear; each carrying a gun, a hiking backpack, flashlights, and other essentials to protect and aid themselves. They left the room in the building they were in and crept out a boarded hole in the wall. They all quietly moved to where the scavengers were and executed them.
"Good job, boys." One of them said. The soldiers stared at the dead corpses and celebrated quietly.
These men weren't survivors. They were hired soldiers of wealthy people in this destroyed world. They killed for both fun and money, not stopping for anything. These guys are hated by actual survivors, people looking for a way to stay alive in this war-torn world. Most people don't even know who to trust anymore.
Backstory
America has run low on oil supply, eventually forcing people to move out of homes that are built over any area that has oil underground. Soon they would be forced to invade Venezuela and Saudi Arabia, sparking a major world war. As tensions and war grew, oil ran out worldwide. As countries were struggling to provide and find oil, every country was for themselves. America would be invaded on May 2, 2022, sparking the largest and longest battle in history.
As America withdrew soldiers worldwide, their strength would be greater than any other country. America defended itself gloriously for years, eventually looking like the world's greatest power. This was until everyone turned on America. Russia decided enough was enough and deployed its new prototype bomb, the RP2W bomb (short for Russia Prototype 2 War bomb). This bomb would easily decimate large areas, and Russia launched a lot these bombs in highly populated areas. The top three were Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Dallas. With America crippled, they were forced to do one thing: bomb every country. And so they did, eventually causing worldwide mutual assured destruction (MAD). Thankfully, these bombs were never nuclear.
As no one took the victory in this war, all governments failed due to riots, protests, shortages of food and water, and other factors. This new apocalyptic earth was unsafe and is viewed as the end. But brave souls that are willing to survive this world still roam the earth. A small group of "soldiers" have teamed up and created an assassin/mercenary group that kills for money. They call themselves "The Blood Army" and refer to themselves as the new government, even setting up presidents, senate, and other forms of government.
Rules
1) You can be ANYTHING you want to be (as in survivor, Blood Army member, scavenger, lone wolf, etc.), but if I feel as if your position is unfair/has a god-modded feel, I WILL reject it.
2) Do not kill a member's character without permission (PM the member or talk about it in OOC)
3) No god-modding (Obviously) in any way, shape, or form. If I see you GMod, I'll give you only one warning. Repeat offenders will be removed.
I will add more rules later. (This is my first roleplay I'm creating, so I'm not sure what rules and regulations to input)

Age: Age of character (no age limits/restrictions. Your character could be 3 years old for all I care.)
Gender: Male, female, trans, whatever you identify as
Bio: At least one paragraph (at least 5-7 sentences please) of a backstory leading up to where you are now
Personality: How your character is
Gear: What you travel with. I'd like it to be set up like this:
-Weapon 1 (optional): Provide a detailed description (not just "pistol". Please include how it looks, the name of the actual gun, or an image please)
-Weapon 2 (optional):
-Clothing:
-Items: (Flashlights, bandages/medical equipment, etc.)
Role: Are you a survivor? A Blood Army soldier? A doctor? What do you do? (Explain what you do. Don't just say "survivor". Do you just sit there all day? Be detailed.)
