Pretending that the finger was pointed at himself Kormac responds, "Repent what sins!? Im an honest man with an honest trade, does kicking out drunks make me a sinner? Or is it the joy and merriment i bring? Is that to much for you abstaining faithful types?". He lets out a short laugh, he knows arguing with the woman is pointless, convincing the faithful they are wrong is an exercise in futility. All he hoped to do was draw the eyes to himself rather than his companion.

"I am not speaking to you...I am speaking to your companion..i can feel a evil presence inside of him" The young woman pointed to Xavier who looked away form her feeling a overwhelming sense of sadness.Cover his hands with one hand trying not to cry but the tears we're coming out of his eyes and ran down his cheek.

"You should not be near him or you will be cursed..." She said with some of the guard encircled her looking at Xavier who was now crying in his hands but of course made no sound.

Alexander left Escudo and searched for this Xavier everyone was talking about. He was in his armor and was on a horse. He looked at his sword as he rode in the direction of the search team that was sent earlier. After a while, Alexander had no luck. "Where the hell is he?" Alexander asked himself. He sighed and decided to rest, leaning against a tree as he studied a map of the area.

Kormac jumps down off the caravan and announces in a booming voice to the lingering crowd, "After a display like that its best to have a drink and forget about it". He pulls down two large casks from the back of the caravan and puts taps in them, 'Drinks on me tonight! Fine Bravado stuff you wont get from anyone else". He then pulls are guard aside and whispers to him, 'if you run out take this and go to the tavern to get more, otherwise you can keep it for watching my things.', he then handed the guard a fistful of gold from his pouch that he earned in the last town. Before going any further though he recovered his officers sword from the back of the caravan, he didnt want it getting stolen.

Crowd taken care of he moved towards Xavier, not saying a word to the silently crying figure he started to lead the horse away from the crowds towards any form of small inn or tavern. He hoped to buy a room for Xavier so he could compose himself.

@Eviledd1984He gave the maid a nod of his head, and ate his foot quickly, making sure to drink all of the water given to him. Once he was done, he gave her his thanks, and headed over to see Manik. He was not going to be late.

Alexander could see a lone caravan that was stopping in front of him,Two people came out of the small caravan a older woman and man.The two we're looking over a map trying to figure out how to get to Meche.

Xavier moved away form the crowd and towards the inn signing to Komac thanking him.Slipping away form the crowd and into the inn making sure to hide his face form the patrons.Once inside he headed to the bar writing down on a piece of paper that he would like a drink of water,"Coming right right honey" The older woman said with a smile coming back a few moments later with a mug of water.

Xavier wrote down on the paper to thank her drinking form the mug.Paying for his drink he swore he could feel prying eyes watching him.

The woman that was preaching looked at Komac with disgust telling the guard to be wary of drinking that will slowly kill them.She shook her head now getting off the podium and letting one of her guards wearing the same insignia one their armor that she needed some water and needed them to go into a bar to get her what she needed.

Manik was waiting for him at the bar along with a few other men that would come with him to hunt the mute.Once he got their he would be welcomed by Manik.

@Eviledd1984Meldarion strode into the Inn, glad but not surprised that he was on time. He looked around the room, sizing everyone up before walking up to Manik who greeted him. "Well met." he replied curtly.

Meldarion was not given a greeting motioning for him to come sit down on the chair across form him."Come sit down we don't have time to waste" The older man shook his head putting some gold pieces into a sack placing it into a pile.

@Eviledd1984 Alexander observed the figures, drawing his sword in case he had to get involved. He walked to the caravan, trying to see what was going on. He pointed his sword down, not wanting to seem like a threat.

The two figure were of a older woman and man asking or rather arguing with each other about the safest route to Meche.When Alexander got closer towards the two he could tell they looked like peasants and looked rather harmless form what he could see. "Damn it man do you not know how to read a map?" The older woman yelled out shaking her head while the man grunted shaking his head.

Manik shook his head telling all of the details that he could to Meldarion of the job he would be doing. The older man told him that he would be going with a caravan with a team and to escort the caravan to Meche.

Spying the crazed priestess approaching trough the window Kormac decided it best to keep Xavier out of the firing line and ask for an explanation from him later. He quickly negotiated a room for them and urged Xavier into it. After he moved himself towards a table with a spare seat. As soon as the priestess walked in he gestured for her to come to his table, "Im buying, drinks or information."

The armored warrior priestess took a steady seat across form him weary of his presences and if the mute was watching her and waiting to attack her."I will buy my own drink thank you..." She answered him taking a seat putting her hand on the table.She wanted to know what this pesent wanted with her and if his mute friends was watching her.

"I will not be going...you will be going with a group..they are waiting outside right now waiting for you...the leader of this..guild will lead you to the mute" Merkin shook his head waving him away outside.Once he got outside he could see the thieves form before waiting for him with the leader throwing the same dagger form before and caughting it.

@Eviledd1984Meldarion sighed when he saw the ruffians from yesterday. He should have suspected they were telling the truth. He gave a shrug of an apology. "Lead on then." he deadpanned. It was almost funny, if he was a bit more trusting it would have saved him some time worrying.

"Good idea old man" The leader of the thieves said but of course the old man comment was not meant with content.The leader took the lead to their horses mounting their horses."Do you have a horse?If not you can ride with me behind me..." The leader said to moving closer towards Meldarion.

"The mute fellow, i need to know more about him. I ran into him on the road a few days back, he seemed like the type to cause trouble so i decided to hitch up with him to protect any innocents caught in the firing line. I dont know what you have against him but the best way to handle trouble is to steer people out of it. If i am to do that for our mutual acquaintance i need to know everything, especially why you seem to dislike him so."

"Do you know of the Order Of The Red Dove?" The woman asked him now relaxing her body just a little bit keeping a eye on him."And to answer your other question since i am the High Priestess of the Order am gifted with the power to sense auras" She said looking him over sensing good in this man.

"If you are weary of him then give him to us and he will be burnt to the stake like the other heretics..." Her eyes staring into his while sipping her water.

Xavier meanwhile could not stop pacing around the room looking out of the ajared doorway seeing the two of them,This scared him making him moan softly backing up and knocking over the table behind him."Escape...leave and you will not be burnt to the stake" A voice rang in his ear making him look around the room confused.

Xavier moaned softly trying to find the source of the voice but could not find what he needed."Go in the darkness...hide we will help you" The voice said to him. Xaiver moaned again looking towards the door wondering how he would escape.

"Im not one for faith, unless you give me evidence that this man has committed definite immoral acts i will not hand him over. Execution is a matter for the law.". Kormac has no real objection to the idea of higher powers, he just liked to think that he would deal with them as and when they decided to bother him and if he is to sentence a man to death then he would prefer to know why.
