Appearance:
A lanky tall human bones. The bones looks and feels sandy but is actually as hard as steel. Eyeball-shaped mossy green flame burn in his eye-sockets (Think Sauron's eye without slitted iris). Hiss voice are somewhat a mixture of coughing, gurgling and a grinding teeth. There's also his trapped soul, burning and floating in his, usually covered, ribcage.

Powers:
-Skin Suit: Niks is capable of 'stuffing' himself inside a suit made from living subject, gaining control over its movement, physical strength and abilities (due to 'muscle memory') along with its weakness. Some abilities doesn't get copied, especially those that are granted by the mind and soul, such as spell incantation and demonic contract. When a suit gets mutilated, Niks' bony self would 'grow back' to replace it. Exception made for the head. It can change suit but the action took time (roughly 5 minutes). [Comparison: divers and their wetsuits]

-Skin Harvest: A ritual to harvest the flesh and skin of a "willing" subject for its own use after separating the skin from the bones. The ritual is time extensive and requires the victimdonor to remain immobile for a large portion of it. Skin harvest can only harvest skin, so those who don't have skin like slime or made of some substance, like djinn, is immune to this. Exoskeletal stuff is acceptable though.

-Disease Magic/Miasma: Niks is capable of generating a blob of liquid or gas-like substance that inflicts symptoms of diseases the size of a volley ball. Inflicting the disease is a matter of soaking or covering someone with the liquid or gas in the blob. Hitting the blob would cause it to splash or disperse. The symptoms range from nausea, fever, paralysis, diarrhea, etc. Niks is also able to combine the symptoms. The symptoms are magically induced, as such, most mundane treatment would fail and even the healthiest (or disease immune) person will fall prey. However it can be removed easily using curing magic. There're currently so many symptoms Niks can create at a single time. Maximum range of 75 yards. The Miasma can also be used to analyze unknown poison and disease in a body. Once analyzed, Niks can then create them on its own through miasma. However, this application requires touch and undisturbed concentration.

-Hex/Soul Rot: Niks breathe out a lungful of bile colored gas, that will, upon contact, burn and corrupt the soul of its victim rendering them weaker. It can be warded only by magical means and left physical objects intact and unharmed. The hex would linger where Niks breathed it out for 3 turns before dissipating to nothingness. All undead are immune to this burning effect. Breathing in the gas is highly agonizing and eliminate the 3 turns lingering as the gas burn the victim from inside out.

Abilities:
-Flesh-stitching/patching: Mainly used to 'fix' the skin-suits as they have lost their regenerative ability. Even so there's a limit on how much a suit can be fixed. In extension, Niks can also use this as pseudo-surgery to living object. If you happen to be a patient, do note that Niks usually won't care about using anesthetic.

-Preservation: Given the tools and time, Niks can preserve skin/leather to stop it from rotting.

Weakness:
-Has the strength of average man in his bony glory.
-Exposed soul: You damage this enough, Niks' a goner.
-Bleeding effect: When Niks got one part of its bone core cut off, his soul would start to 'leak' out.
-Did I mention that Niks' as light as bone? At least when not wearing a suit

Equipment/Loot:
-Leather cloak: Yeah, "leather" cloak. See his abilities, you know what I mean. You can take this if you want. (It's not necessarily secondary skin, it could be animal.)
-Bone Staff: A walking staff made from bones, though it's unknown from what the creature it came from. It's hard, strong and durable. You can probably ask someone to make something out of this.
-Crystal skull: Upon death, Niks' remaining tainted magical power would gather and condense in its skull, crystallizing it into a large translucent green colored crystal. The skull can be used to shoot agonizing bolt of pain (from its eyes) or crushed to release the whole energy as hex that covers a 5 meter area in diameter.
-"Surgery"-kit: A complete set of tools for flesh-patching. A quick glance at the tools can lead someone to assume that this is a set of sewing kit. *locked* (No special stuff here, and why would you take it if you can get one on your own?)

Appearance



His Appearance is close to the picture above except for a few notable differences. His hair is a bit longer for starters and the glasses he wears now are more like goggles that cover his eye sockets, however once that is off he might just have his old pair on him. Another difference is he has been wearing a mask to conceal his identity among other functions. The cloak over him is also green as is any blue markings on the picture. Finally the biggest difference is in the right hand, which now has a long glove that slides up his arm and seems to have some sort of technology built into it with many latches as if it is sealing something.

Personality
Arrogant with a side dose of thinking he knows more than the other arrogant people he runs into. Losing his good nature over the years he has become goal driven and results have become more important than anything. That being said he has developed an amazing amount of patience living as long as he has and always knows there will be another chance.

Skills, Powers and Abilities

Essence of the Soul:Having once relied on the power inside the God Fear, Dawn of all Days, he gave up the weapon and after much talk with his friend Killiak who convinced him that true power lies within and not from some external source. Convinced of this he spent years refining himself and finally developed his true power out of his core being. Realizing that his heritage was not fully being utilized from Xenogaia who's inhabitants were know for such abilities as the ether fueled “DeathBlows” and the abilities known as “Limit Breaks”. Similar as they were, the deathblows were comprised of an ether process where the Limit Breaks used the persons inner strength to accomplish great things. It was in these Limit Breaks he found his answer, and now is able to draw upon that kind of power at will and if need be with every attack he throws out.

-----Enhanced senses- It could be said that due to this new spiritual awakening a new sense of awareness was born. Exact details are unknown at this time.

------Sword States- Drawing from his inward abilities of his core soul he can expand and break down into the essences that make up most universes. Having traveled to many places he found a master of the Sword Stance who could draw on the essence of the four basic elements to funnel their power into his sword. Learning this new art, he pushed it further expanding past just the first four elements. Now able to draw forth abilities and imbue not just a sword but any weapon he uses, its unknown just what he is fully capable of.

The four basic sword states he learned was that of Earth, Wind, Water, Fire. The activated element gives access to basic abilities such as flame arcs for fire, quake strikes etc. When using more advanced and devastating abilities in those states his spiritual energy will spike up to push out the effect.

Having mastered the first four he then spent time training to push into other elements. Some are more traditional as wood or metal and delving into the more exotic such as the void state. No matter the state they seems to all adhere to melee strikes or movements that send out projectiles or create passive effects. Area effect abilities that move past his own area of influence are possible but require more concentration and must be use sparingly.

Various Fighting Techniques: Each Fighting Technique is modified by which sword state he is currently in.
------Watou Jutsu-His favorite sword technique and the one he uses the most was specifically designed to be about offense and power. Not worried about blocking or evading attacks, the style relies heavily in attacking into your opponents attacks.
------Hiten Mitsurugi- Though he considers it a lesser style than Watou Jutsu, he is still very familiar with it and can draw a few techniques from it when he needs to.
------Integrated Gunplay- Years ago he mastered a style that used almost entirely gun play to hide his true identity. It used two handguns, two ether guns, and a large shotgun. He has kept a relic of that time with him in the form of one of the custom made handguns developed by UTIC during the days he used the style.

Lifestream Manipulation: Lifestream runs throughout the universes where there is life, but normally it lays latent far deep, even in the core of each planet where life exists. Xenogaia was different, with its past the Lifestream retreated closer to the surface and had amazing side effects on the inhabitants. Alex is one of the few who are chosen advents who can manipulate the streams.
-----Weapon Summoning: Alex can force a planet to do many things with his enhanced abilities, one of which is to manifest a Weapon from the planet. A “Weapon” is a large monstrosity formed from the life force of the plane tricking it into thinking it is in danger. They are very large(Think Godzilla size on average) but not undefeatable by a group of hearty adventurers on foot!(or underwater it seems!) This ability is not used against a single foe, but rather when needing to subdue a nations population.
-----Nielfheim Angel: In former days he used his abilities to heal those around him, but now forming the once green glowing wings off his back they seem dull and pale.

Soul Sword: Alex can generate a weapon in his hand composed of concentrated essence of his own soul. This weapon can be used like any other sword, but can obviously effect the incorporeal as well.

Destruction God Fear Relic: Having found one of the most dangerous and unstable powers ever created, Alex found it inside a strange universe where a version of Reno, his father, and shinra were working with avalanche to put an end to the Jenova Family. Using their technology to go into space they found the nest and Alex helped them put an end to the corrupted and cracked planets core. There he found it, the “Life” God Fear which corrupted and created this universes corrupted life. A simple ring that was found there and given to the queen of the lost planet who began to heal the populace and eventually turned them into twisted beings.

The relic gives him the power and ability to bring life to anything, but with a two fold cost. The first is that what was given life is usually endowed with some strange quirk or ability the other is that every time he uses it, the corruption spreads more into his body. Once fully taken by the artifact he becomes its living avatar with no more control and just its will to corrupt life just like it had in the universe in which he found it.

Weapon:
-------Watou- A simple looking sword that is a mix between a japanese and a chinese style sword. It has been hand crafted and made with the finest materials. It's only enhancement is from Alex himself through his “soul” and sword stances and is a testament to not relying on outside powers holding him back. The sword is as strong as he is being an extension of himself.

------Revelation: The custom handgun created by the U-TIC organization allows for modified uses other than the standard firing normal ammunition. The gun has technology woven into it to allow the easy use of alternate energy to be channeled into the gun to alter firepower or create new types of dispersion. In this way the gun acts like a capacitor that can absorb energy from the user(ether, mana, or spiritual) and hold it for use later.

Special Gear Notes: The gear seems to have the ability to shift between a standard bi-pedal gear design and what could only be called a “Beast-Mode” for lack of a technical term. In both though it seems that the gear itself has some sort of A.I. And can act on its own, specific details other than basic observation are unknown except it seems to act like a living creature.

Biography/History
His history is a long one that starts back in a lost future time line on Xenogaia Prime. In that future he was brought up by a widowed mother and the world hating everything Shinra stood for as the company was the scapegoat for how the world ended up. Eventually old enough he embarked on his quest moving back in time to try to stop the actions of Shinra and more importantly his father Elyk.

Successful in his goal of changing the outcome of his future homeland he found himself now trying to figure out what to do next. Having found love with a woman by the name of Sky Strife and the threat gone from Xenogaia Prime but still not eradicated the members left behind of Shinra and the now leaderless Yggsdrasil Crew set out to eliminate the threat once and for all of the Deus System being used to destroy their world or any others.

Using the advanced secret technology they were able to venture out and cross into other universes. It was then that U-TIC was first born and started its mission to find a new path to Lost Jerusalem. Over the years they built up power and refined their technology and explored eventually finding a man by the name of Wolfgang. This new Neo-Contact was the key to their long quest. And as history repeated again with Elyk coming back to try to help the system with it's goals. The final assault ended up being Wolfgang's alone and no one knows what truly happened inside Lost Jerusalem but Wolfgang walked out victorious.

The years went by and for reasons unknown he gave up his weapon back to the U-TIC vaults and had his friend Killiak fake his death so he may go out on his own. Founding the Grand Advent, he spent time planting loyal people into organizations across the omniverse and training his elite members to seek out special artifacts.

His reasons are unclear as of now, but this lost figure from the past has been moving his pieces on this chess board in secret and now emerging it seems he is sure of whatever goal he has in mind.

Other Information
Having just recently stopped hiding his life-force from detection, if sensed by someone it would be the equivalent of an earth like planet five times its size. In other words, his life force is basically a large life giving planets life stream core.
