... I don't think you understand what I mean.. Take certain things from the other editions and put it into this one... I have seen it be done before.. I have played in one where it was 4th edition and he put a bunch of things from the 1st edition to the 3rd into the 4th.. It can be done... You are just incapable of doing so.. Or just plainly don't want to out of your own stubbornness.
My knowledge only comes from the Fifth Edition and this is the first time I took on the role of DM, I mentioned this earlier and in the very first post respectively. I have no knowledge of the previous edition and therefore my ability to be able to weave other parts of the edition is beyond me.
@VKAllen I do have one BIG question. I thought it would be ok to aim for fatal points on mobs such as the throat or arterial artery, and as a rogue or ranger have the precision to do so. Zayge made two blow first with shield and then her sword, and jethro shot once then twice and killed a bandit as well. Yet a problem is raised when i stab the eye and then the throat? I thought i would have two daggers and my tail could count as a third if you would allow it... so why can't i make these moves? Why can't i finish the bandit off? (I am not picking i fight. I want to understand so the next time i can kill this exasperating bastard! unless you will let him die now and next time i'll act according to what you tell me in your responce..)
Generally no matter where you aim at the target it will not do much difference. Your descriptions are what's called
flavour text. The damage is
based around the
weapon used for the attack and your
feats that you get over the course of the adventure. As a First Level Rogue, there isn't much that you could do at that power level other than attacking normally. As for an instant kill, it can't be done as the Bandit Leader is tougher than the average Bandit.
