INERTIA A.K.A. Tia Clark

Tia rode up on her motorcycle and looked at the compound from the outside. It was magnificent and huge. The six story building for research and development would also house and have training rooms for the heroes. There was a separate garage for vehicles that would have staff on the grounds to handle the maintenance and upkeep for their vehicles. The security was top notch.

Tia parked her motorcycle and grabbed her bags. Upon entering the HQ she looked around. There entryway was spacious and there was a couch and waiting area for guests. Not far past that was the office for the Team Leader, namely Tia. She pulled out her keys and entered her office.

There was a couch, a large desk and file cabinet with a fax machine, a mini fridge and another fax machine. Two fax machines? One for incoming from local authorities and one for the Agency. She guessed this meant that it would be really busy. She took a key labelled suite 1 and went down to her room. She looked all around on her way. From her office she made a left and continued down the hall. When it turned into a T she went right toward some of the residential suites. Her rooms were the first door on the right. She opened it and went in.

The suite was amazing. There was a walk in closet in the bedroom and a connected bathroom. There was also a living room for entertaining and watching tv. And there was even a small kitchen with a microwave and a refrigerator. The entire place was fully furnished tastefully. Tia was quite impressed. She hung up her things and went back to the office and started reading the faxes that were already streaming in on the fax machines.

The office door burst open as an angry Kain came thundering in, slamming down a staff id badge onto Tia's desk. He stared at her with those different coloured eyes, she could see the metal he absorbed into his body rolling around just beneath his skin. Just waiting to be used should he grow angry enough.

"Look. We had a deal! No one was to touch my ride. EVER! Now fire this douch-bag!"

Kain points down to the ID card, some assistant named Eddie.

"He has to go, your way or mine."

Kain relaxes a bit having now said his piece. He crosses his arms and rubs his fingers through the fur lining of his coat. It somewhat helped settle his anger.
Although he wasn't proud to admit it, everyone knew he had anger issues, issues only matched by his stubbornness.

Grant Finley: AKA The Hammer

There was yelling around the corner of the open door. The suit leading Grant hesitated in the stark white hall. Grant's apprehension peaked. A high ranking security officer shaken by someone raising their voice? What new bullshit has Uncle Sam thrown me into now? Grant thought to himself. The placard on the door read Tia Clark. Inside was some thin looking kid yelling about who knew what and a girl taking the brunt of the outburst. Grant assumed this was Tia, the other he wasn't sure he wanted to know.

Tia was different. Strange looking. Not odd or disfigured. But different. Attractively different. Grant couldn't stop staring at her long green hair. Breathtaking.

His short break of nerves relaxed and Grant's lead cleared his throat,

"Ms. Clark. Dressel sir. Pardon the interruption, Grant Finley has arrived. He needs to be debriefed."

Grant stood at attention. Tia didn't look like any commanding officer he'd dealt with in the past, and this young kid certainly lacked an authority he was used to in the marines, but best to play it safe for now. He'd speak when spoken to.

Naomi was just examining her new place when she heard some yelling. Setting her meager belongings, all held together in a duct tape duffel, on the couch in her new living room (she swears just this one room in her suite is bigger than her entire childhood home) Naomi blinked out of existence. She appeared in the room the yelling had come from, finding three of her new....housemates....gathered together in an office. Naomi recognized that one of them was probably the person in charge. Waiting her turn, Naomi leaned against a nearby wall, crossing her arms. She looked down at the running shoes she was wearing as part of her civilian outfit. The disintegrating soles probably meant she needed to hit up the local salvation army for another pair.

INERTIA A.K.A. Tia Clark

Tia looks at her group that is getting larger by the moment and grabs sets of keys and writes names down. She looks at the girl who popped in and looks on the wall for the missing keys. "I'm Tia a.k.a. Inertia."

"Naomi I take it you are in room 5. Kain here are your keys to room 3 and here are yours Grant to room 7." She hands the guys their keys and says to Kain. "I'm not going to fire someone just because you tell me too. These people in the complex are the best of the best. If you think something was done wrong you need to tell me what happened."

Tia grabbed some faxes off of the machine and opened her desk drawer. She handed each of them a comlink that would allow them to communicate with each other in the field. Handing them each one and copying the numbers down she said, "Put these on. Never take them off. They are waterproof and take seriously heavy hits. Now I suggest everyone unpack and get ready for missions. We are aready getting calls and faxes in. We'll be going into the city in shifts working the south side first as that is the most dangerous area."She handed them each a sheet explaining what the missions were.

"Normally we go out in pairs but this time I am sending you all out together because I have to stay here and get people settled. Stay close, communicate and help each other if needed. There is a pretty active gang war going on and there is also reports of metahumans causing trouble in the area too."

"OH and one more thing, you can not use your real names in the field. So if you don't have a code name get one, figure one out and let me and everyone else know what it is."
She turned to Kain and said "Please tell me you didn't kill this Eddie did you?" She looks at the ID badge and sighs. "Sit down Kain. You guys go get ready he will be done here in a few minutes. What happened?"

Frowning down at the comm, Naomi teleported to her suite. She toed off her running shoes and unzipped her duffle. Inside rested her 'uniform', and Naomi grabbed it up. In a few short minutes she was changed into her Black Cheshire persona, skin tight outfit clinging to her small frame. Her insanely high resting boots also had pretty good heels on them, helping Naomi out in the height department. Her short-ness was something she wished she could change, but she didn't think height surgery was a thing yet. Lastly Naomi fastened on her comm, listening to orders even if she wanted to go solo. Working in a team had never been her strong suit, but strangling teammates or going MIA in the field was not going to make a good first impression.

Sighing in resignation at the fact this was her life now, Naomi teleported to the exit of HQ, waiting for her new team. A gang war was something Naomi was intimately familiar with, growing up how she had, but Naomi was also familiar with ending one. She knew this time however that maiming someone was against the 'rules'.

Kain took his key, a defiant smirk rolled across his lips. It was suddenly obvious why. A silver liquid drip from his hand and solidified into little mis-shaped balls as the key melted and hardened over Eddie's ID badge.

Kain took the comm's but refused to hang around for the lecture.

"Metal barrel locks? primitive and useless. I don't need keys anyway."
He flicks up his hood and pushes past the stiff standing Grant without even acknowledging his presence.

"Oh, and don't worry. Of course he's not dead! I'm not a killer. But you will need a scissor lift and grinder to get him down."

Kain left the room and headed to the garage, he would inspect and wait by their designated vehicle. A moment after his departure his sarcastic voice crackles across the earpieces "Shotgun"

INERTIA A.K.A Tia Clark

Tia went outside to go check on Eddie in the garage and she found him. He was hoisted into the air by bars of steel that seemed to be tied in knots. He was attached to the flagpole and he was screaming and scared to death. Tia turned and looked at the car as the others were getting ready to go. Instinct told her Kain was watching and laughing about it.

She focussed her mind on getting Eddie out of the metal mess twenty feet in the air. First Tia decelerated him and froze him like a statue. Second she went to the garage and grabbed a ladder. She set it up and climbed up to Eddie, who was frozen mid scream, and tied a rope around him to make sure he was safe. Then she phased through the metal and pulled Eddie through it by phasing him with her. She twisted her hand slightly and as she pulled Eddie safely to the ground. Eddie unfroze and was still screaming. He stopped when he realized that he was on the ground. "Eddie? Don't touch his car ok?" Eddie nodded his head fast and she thrust the ladder into his hands and he ran off with it.

Tia walked right past the car and called Kain on the comlink. "Kain? You just bought a flagpole." She could just see the laughter in his eyes in her mind. She couldn't for the life of her figure out what it was, maybe it was the creativity behind the idiocy but she liked him just a little bit, but there was no way she was going to let him know she had chuckled when she had seen Eddie up the pole.

Cruising a quarter mile down the street, a sigh escaped through his lip while looking down at his phone with a text reading 'Good luck out there'. Miles was not too thrilled in being a government dog but what choice did he have? Either join or serve time. There were plenty others who had gifts like himself and well...more than likely, if he stayed on the path he was before being given an option, he would be hunted down.

With the purring and slight roar of his Dodge challenger, Miles made it to the compound where he entered into the garage from the directions he was given and needed to meet with this....Tia person to get acquainted.

Upon coming in, he caught sight of some others. Others who were more than likely a gifted individual like himself but never has he worked with anyone before. Were they going to be a pain in the ass or were they going to get along? Time would tell as he parked his car and got out, standing 6'0 tall 185 lbs. Pulling out his army sack that had his clothes in it and looked around a moment before heading inside to find and meet with Tia.

The voice that crackled across the commlink set Naomi's nerves off. As she waited for her new teammates she replied back, "I'll just teleport to the area."

Boredom set in as she stood silently, and she conjured up some dark matter to toss between her hands. Naomi watched disinterestedly as Inertia rescued the guy from atop the flagpole, making note not to go head to head with Kain. Though part of her did want to blast dark matter through his windshield just for fun. But no, getting along was the name of the game now, and Naomi needed to learn it quick. Plus, drawing attention to herself was the opposite of what she wanted.

Naomi added a second ball of dark matter to her hands, throwing them both back and forth now, her attention going to that instead of the surrounding area.

AVAVAVAVAVAVAVAVA

Drifter as she now liked to call herself exploded into the air much to the Royal Navy Captain's irritation. He had escorted her to San Francisco expecting her to be driven to the League HQ in one of those ubiquitous SUV popular with security forces; Too Bloody!

She giggled as accelerated up to about a 1000 M. in altitude an came to a stop. There suspended on the soft cushion of the earth's magnetic field she did a slow turn coming to a stop looking at the Bay area's Golden Gate.

She fell instantly in love as she gazed at it's massive field effect and had to indulge.

Tilting her body into a streamlined form to minimize drag looking like a pink missile aimed at the bridge's center Jess altered her magnetic field to the optimal opposite. The effect was that her normal flight speed of about 300 kph became 650, she was in heaven.

She didn't pass in closer than 75 m of the bridge but did use it's mass as another acceleration point. She rode the rotation in a slingshot turn passing 750 allowing her to climb with minimal effort to 4,000 m where she slowed to a stop.

She was still under observation with no reasonable expectation of ever knowing a truly private life but she had freedom after a fashion and that was more than she'd had till now making her glow with joy.

"I don't have care, call me a Drifter who's off on a tare?
No, doesn't sound good; try again."
said Jessica to herself drifting in the frigid an thin air.

AVAVAVAVAVAVAVAVAVAVAV

1 Hour Later

Jessie floats down to land atop the League's 6 story building on a helicopter pad to met by 2 security staff who trotted out to meet her. They thought they were armed and had the upper hand because she wasn't but her reaction caused them to pause.

The metal zipper tag of her uniform drug it's self down half exposing her chest then a dog tag chain drifted out of her cleavage turned to present her tags to be read with ease as she pulled out a thin passport.

Grinning she said in a suggestive tone " I'll show you anything else you'd like; I have nothing to hide "

She loved how easy that little line showed her which of the two had a better sense of humor. It also revealed that while naturally as males they responded as expected they also felt guilty which revealed they weren't pervs.

As the officious of the two ran her identification Jess looked over at the friendlier an said " Didn't mean to cause worries by popping off on my own but I was suffering the caged bird "

She smiled warmly as the man's pressure on his weapon's trigger relaxed which she could sense and always did in the presence of armed people. It gave her a sense of safety to keep tabs on all weapons around her and had practiced for over a year now. It didn't just locate weapons but revealed potential threats and he was showing he trusted her and she could trust him.

Grant Finley: AKA The Hammer

Some debrief! Grant had never felt more out of place. He'd known there would be others here with powers like his, but he'd still jumped at the sudden appearance and disappearance of a teleporting girl. A key, a commlink, and orders. Maybe it was like the military and he didn't feel so out of place after all.

Grant followed out after Kain's cold shoulder and inspected the commlink in his hand. It was sleek and grey and looped to fit over his ear. It buzzed in clearly as he entered room 7, "Shotgun." Things were already moving quickly, Grant had little time to inspect his new quarters. Though he took notice there was one bunk and it was a rather large size. This was comfort he wasn't used to. The marines had him holed up 4 men to a tent in the deserts of the middle east. The 18 hour plane ride back was luxurious. This was going to be something he truly appreciated.

Thud. Zip. His green army duffel bag landed on the bed and was opened to all Grant owned in the world. Fatigues. Boots. Clean underwear. White t's and jean pants from the country, matching much like what he was wearing now. And under it all, tucked away at the bottom, a book: Introduction to Algebra. It was worn and feathered on every page from tired reading and re-reading. For a book, it took a lot of frustrated lumps it didn't deserve. It was quickly shoved under the mattress, bending another corner on its poor back cover.

Grant was out in the hallway in time to follow Tia out toward the garage. He saw Kain again by a black SUV, it's engine was already going, started by some support staff not to be seen anymore. The team was described to Grant as emergency response when things got real hairy. He wondered if it meant the cars had sirens and lights too. Regardless he would be quickly jumping into the side at a moments notice.

"Dressel, isn't it?" He said with a muted friendliness, as a complete stranger would. A thick silence seemed to impregnate their blossoming indifference. "You seem...," he hesitated about what to say that would come across as an attempt for comradery, "tough," nodding to the helpless Eddie being rescued from the flagpole. "Be sure to let me know which car is yours," he joked.

Gyro-AKA Brian Michelson

Brian sat in the taxi as it went through the streets of San Francisco. He had always wanted to visit a big city like this, Los Angeles had nothing on this place, it had a air of fun to it and he liked it.

"He how long is the Golden Gate Bridge?" He asked the cab driver as they drove over it. The military had dropped him off and told him exactly where to go.

He was headed to the HQ of this super league they wanted him apart of, the man said he had potential to be great all he needed was some training.

They pulled up to the beautiful six story building and Brian got out, paid the man and walked in. He got checked out at the security point and was escorted to the waiting room and told to wait for the Leader of the the team.

INERTIA A.K.A. Tia Clark

After settling Visi-Play and Gyro Inertia called up to Research and Development and requested suits to be made for Gyro, shoes for Naomi and seconds of everything they might need in the clothing department. Next she told the two heroes with her that they were going to go meet up with the other team that was already in the field. Once they got to the appropriate location she told them to fan out and stop crime. "We don't kill, we capture and we might occassionally maime, if it's a metahuman, but we don't kill."

Tia caught sight of something going down at the docks. It looked like a man was about to be murdered. Tia was already in motion and she got to the docks and walked right out in front of them. "Hey look at the sexy lady with the green hair." One of the thugs said and they laughed. She noticed there were five of them and she decided to have some fun with them. Her martial arts training came in handy in times like these.

Tia froze the guy who was aiming at the victim. She called the cops on her comlink and then she slammed one of the guys into the wall and headbutted the next with the door. The fourth pulled a gun on her and she accelerated molecules and blew up his gun. The fifth was the victim who thanked her over and over as she saved his life. He was not a good guy however, when she went to grab the gun from the first guy he smashed her in the stomach with his elbow hard. The shock caused her to pause longer than she should have. He hit her with a board and she landed flat on her back. "Ahh!" She phased into the ground and popped up ten feet away. The guy shot at her which she phased through and she hit her blast power instead of her freeze power and half of his leg blew up. "Ah SHIT! Wicked is going to kill me. And the paperwork!" She was irritated now. She looked at the guy after tying off the bleeder. "I bet you won't try that again."

After making certain they knew their way back Tia returned to the HQ to call Wicked and get her ear chewed off.

Michael Watts a.k.a Omega

"How nice are the rooms?" Michael said as he was approached by the security detail in front of the headquarters. At the moment he met the men with with a plain gray t-shirt, black shorts, and gray on black sneakers. A pair of over-the-ear headphones hung on his neck as he looked upon two armed men with a smirk.

"Come with us, Omega." One of the men said his code name with resentment. He hadn't given himself the best reputation due to how he fought for who ever paid the most. Michael did not seemed the slightest fazed by the attitude that was thrown his way. The man was used to it. "They're nicer than what you deserve. Let's just put it that way." The security officer answered as they escorted him to Tia.

As Michael entered the room, he looked around at it before his eyes landed on the young woman who had achieved the rare role of being his leader.

"So is my living space like this, or am I gonna have to take yours... what is it? Inertia?" Michael made guess at her name which luckily correct. "I'm just saying, because I don't ever take the shit end of the stick." He said bluntly with a hint of humor as he smirked once again.

INERTIA A.K.A. Tia Clark

Tia looks at him and says "Michael Watts, Yes it's Inertia or Tia." She nodded to his detail and they went back to what they were doing. She picked up her files and said, "Look, I'm having a rather crappy evening." She grabbed his key and comlink and motioned.

"Follow me," Tia headed down the hall and stood at the dead end. "Go left to the Kitchen and the lounge. Go right to residences and the Pool and hot tub." She pointed to where a Huge Olympic sized pool and hot tub was located. "Elevators go up to R&D and The Store and the gym."

She turned back to him angrily, Her eyes were flashing green. "And so help me! If I find out you have stolen anything from this HQ I will kill you myself. I've already been screamed at, ignored, beaten and had my ass handed to me by Wicked herself. I don't need any trouble from you! Here is your damned suite and if you don't like it I'm across the hall in 1 for you to abuse!" She turned and before she could make any kind of exit she realized what she just said and her eyes got big. She bit her lip.

She turns slowly. "I'm sorry, here." She hands him his com and key. She walks through the wall into her room and changes into her swim suit and walks back through the wall and over to the pool where she does a dive into the pool and lets the cool water drown the craziness of her day away.

Michael Watts a.k.a Omega

A slow clap could be heard from none other than Michael himself. He grinned at how she had reacted to him. Not only did Michael know Tia was stressed, but he could tell his so called "leader" buckled under pressure.

"Don't feel too bad, I've had worse. At least you told me where all the good stuff was, right." His tone seemed to ooze in sarcasm, but it was just his laid back personality.

Michael took a step towards Tia and put a hand on her shoulder. He smiled genuinely this time, which looked different than his playful smirk.

"Take a break in the hot tub at the end of today. I'll handle whatever is up during the p.m." Michael offered his help, but he never did so without some sort of incentive. "You could make like the assistant team leader or something. You've seen my file, so you should know I'm capable in most situations...." Michael then moved away from Tia and headed right. When he heard her apologize, he could already knew how inexperienced she was in this. If she was going to give him guidance, then she had a lot to learn first. "If you let shit like this get you on the first day... then how can you call yourself a leader?" He said this coldly all of a sudden. Tia couldn't see his face, but for once it was serious. He was giving her a warning as she departed to the pool.

Grant Finley: AKA The Hammer

The SUV engine roared them forward. Outside it was a bit inconspicuous, no markings or design, not even a vanity plate, but it's brand new custom leather seats were its least expensive looking attributes. There were more gadgets, lights, switches, and screens then a 747. Its guts were only something that could have come out of a Rednecks wet dream. It roared like a monster truck, accelerated like a formula one car, and sped like it was leading the Daytona 500. Peeling out of the compound, Grant couldn't stifle an involuntary "Holy shit". He glanced briefly to Kain in the seat beside him. Maybe they could rock paper scissors for who got to drive home.

Grant's commlink listened in to what the others were accomplishing. He hoped he could meet the rest of his team as backup to support them, but it was looking like this mission would be just him and Kain. The GPS flashed a large exclamation mark on the zoomed out city map and spoke an alarmed robotic voice, "Warning - metahuman threats reported. Routing you now." It was in the opposite direction of the green T Grant had been moving toward, but hopefully Tia would be ok without their help.

"Not a lot of time for pleasantries now," he mentioned casually. They were nearing the marker, weaving in and out of traffic. Grant wished he knew what some of these switches did, anything to alleviate the traffic. As they neared closer to the site bystanders were scattering in all directions. A quick break check and weave into oncoming traffic the SUV roared back with accelerated speed and hopped onto the corner curb nearly avoiding the back end of an abandoned taxi in the right lane. "Yeehaw!" Grant exclaimed, taken back to his horse riding days. But his excitement quickly abated as their foe came into view.

Oozing a thick, green muck from what could have been skin was a 7 foot tall beast like humanoid creature. It had already thrown most of the parked cars through glass windows of the sidewalk stores and was looking to continue its rampage with load roars and disgruntled anguish. It shook vigorously, flailing in all directions violently looking to mess something, anything, up. The ooze was melting into the asphalt sizzling white stains to the ground as it lightly wisped away. Cars had large holes being eaten away as the green slime ate away at the metal. This stuff was terrifyingly corrosive.

"Ok. This is new. Kain, I hope you got some good moves." Grant stepped out of the car. His claws flashed out of the tips of his fingernails. This thing wasn't human, or at least not anymore. And it had to be taken down. Grant put a finger to his commlink, "Uh come in... team." Great, completely blanking on the code names. Grant knew he wasn't supposed to use real names in the field, but he could only think to call Tia. He stumbled on, "this is..." Shit. He'd never called himself this damned name before. It only reminded him of the pain he caused in the war. "This is - The Hamme... This is Grant! and Kain. We're on Jefferson and Main. There's some kind of Acid monster tearing things up. We're going to handle it, but we may need backup." Grant charged forward.

Not wanting to get near the ooze, he grabbed up small scooter knocked over on the curb. One headlight, a custom painted pink frame, and 15 horsepower went flying through the air too violently connect with the shoulder of the monster. The vespa winged off and crashed into the next street. The monster dropped to one knee in a roar of pain and ooze splattered off its body. Grant was actually surprised that's all it did! This thing must weigh half a ton to withstand a blow like that! The monster turned to Grant and Kain now. It barreled up off the ground and charged.

With incredible strength and agility, Grant leaped upward narrowly dodging the tackle from the acidic monster. Grant's claws grabbed onto a light pole and swung him onto the top of a bus in the intersection. The beast had cratered into a solid brick wall of the building behind them and was turning to face Grant and Kain again. This thing was a truck. They had to do something other than try bashing it to pieces.

"Get it into the bus! We'll push it down the street and off the pier!" Grant shouted. Looking to his metal bending companion to aid him. The pier was a still a good 3 miles away. Grant would have to lure it there first and leave the bus to Kain.

Grant leapt from the bus roof and onto the street. The problem was not getting the bezerking creature to follow him, it was the distance he'd have to travel without getting hit! The path was nearly clear. Citizen had all but completely fled the area by now and Grant could spring over cars easily enough. But, even with his incredible agility, climbing over and weaving between cars was not as fast as a 1000 pound acid monster could barrel after him! Cars were tossing left and right behind him. Being pushed aside with ease. No, hardly to say with ease. They were moved like they weren't even there and the beast was only gaining velocity. The downhill wasn't helping Grant's case. Grant would probably need a saving hail mary from Kain if he wanted to make it all the way.

Finally, they made it. Beast at his heels still and Kain behind him with the bus, Grant fled further down the sturdy wooden pier. He didn't need to look back to be sure the monster was behind him, the rumble of his presence was enough. Thundering clomps of the pavement were replaced by crunching wood and creaking of stressed support beams. Nearing the end Grant made one final leap to catch the edge of the pier as the monster toppled behind him. The bus slammed full force at its rear, shoving the beast in through the window. Trapped and hit hard by Kain's support, the heavy bus and beast went jetting off into the sunset before splashing deep into the ocean horizon.

Grant climbed back up the piers edge. "Man. Talk about catching the bus on time. Thanks for the assist Kain." He slapped him on the shoulder and started walking back up the pier. "Now, if only you could have brought the car too," he chuckled.

It was a calm drive home to the compound. Grant didn't think so much about the roar of the engine on the way back, he did however think about what he wanted for a super hero name, and what Tia might have for him along the lines of an explanation to what that was they just faced. He started to think about Tia a lot...

Parked in the garage, the engine growled and turned off. It'd be gassed up and cleaned shiny new again before heading back out on the next disaster. Grant went to find Tia. He needed an explanation. This is not what he was expecting to see.

Visi-Play AKA Miles Bronson

After meeting and getting settled by Tia, Miles was a little indifferent with his room but hey, better than sleeping on the floor. Wehn being called to go out on patrol, Miles didn't hesitate to strap on his boots and headed out with both Tia, going by the name Inertia and another young man like himself, going by the name 'Gyro'.

Getting the rundown from Tia as they met at the location and being told to fan out, originally...Miles was going to provide back up for Tia but then again, that's why he was given a com-link so just in case if she needed anything, he could back her up.

Leaving her to her scouting, Miles got out the vehicle and at the moment, getting out, his X-ray vision was activated as he looked at the building around his group. At first, things looked to be empty, quiet, and...well boring....no...scratch that...Miles caught sight of a situation in a warehouse across the street. With his X-ray vision, he noticed three people wrestling around and carrying someone deeper into the place, more than likely, a kidnapping or a pending rape.

Without a word and with a serious look on his face, Miles ran towards the warehouse while fading into invisibility so to sneak in with no problems. There was one man outside who was holding an AK-47, keeping watch for anyone trying to interfere. From the Kickboxing and wrestling training he received, he could hold his own in a hand to hand combat situation. Quietly, he walked up to the man carrying the gun while still invisible, went for a swift right hand to the bottom jaw of the man knocking him out cold.

Well.... one man down. Visi-Play made his way into the warehouse as he looked around making sure there were no other armed men which he didn't see. It was small group...probably a group of pricks who are trying to portray a goon life. Catching visual of the men going up the stairs to an office at the top, Miles started heading to the stairs. Quietly trying to stay in stealth mode as one of the men stood in front of the door to the office, waiting for his turn. Lighting a cig and waiting, Miles felt this would be a simple hit and run situation until....the stairs made a creaking noise that alerted the one waiting outside. The Guy smoking was very calm but what seemed to be a calm demeanor, suddenly turned into an alert action scene when the man suddenly pulled out his gun and shot at the stairs, causing a graze from one of the bullets to show on Miles' shoulder, making him visible after losing concentration.

YO! we have a fuckin hero here!! the man yelled, continuously shooting at Miles, making him take cover The hell did you do to Nine? he asked wondering what happened to the guy outside. Miles turned around out of cover. "I did this." using his eye beam to blast the gun out the man's hand and shoot down a light fixture, landing on top of his head knocking him out as well. The two others in the office stopped what they were attempting to do and came out blasting at Miles upon noticing one of the men were on the stairs laid out.

Turning invisible again, Miles started blasting his eye beam at them just for cover to stop them from shooting while at the same time, sneak up the stairs, giving a 5 hit combo on the first guy and lifting a chair smashing the other in the face and giving an elbow shot to the temple of the fist guy again, knocking him down. Feeling the fight was over, Miles turned around to get a face full of the fire extinguisher chemicals, becoming visible again and taking a kick to the face. Things would be much easier to blast than man but his beams were more than powerful enough to kill a human outright.

Back and forth as the fight went, the goon knew a bit of MMA but with the training Miles endured, he managed to finish the fight with knee shot to the face, a head slam into the wall and tossing him through the viewing window making the man fall down the stairs, leaving him dazed. Miles walked over to a young girl, looking to be in her teens, more than likely being with a group she shouldn't have been hanging around with. Miles helped the girl out when she explained that the guy he beat up was someone she though was a good guy wanting to simply take her out to a party with her friend and since her friend left, she was tricked into near rape.

After clearing the scene and gathering the goons, Miles and the girl stayed at the scene and spoke into his comlink This is Visi-play, I've caught 4 perps with attempted rape down by the docks at Chambers Warehouse. I also have a victim here...a young girl. Warehouse clear and perps detained.
