Jocelyn glanced at the boy from the corner of her eye, a mischievous flicker of light in those mysterious emerald hues. "Splendid, but I must warn you, it will be quite the challenge facing off against ghosts. They're not like you and I, beings of physical material. Mortal weapons alone will not harm them, nor will any elemental magick such as fire, earth, or wind. You will need power that is far beyond the recesses of this mortal coil, an art that is drawn from beyond the void that separates both the living and the dead. Luckily for you, boy. Such a power I possess."

She turned to the others, "Now then, I must be off to gather my scythe and whatever else will be necessary in combating creatures of the abyss. I shall meet with you soon after." A curt nod given and she was off climbing the stairs of the Guild Hall to her personal quarters. There beside her bed lied Grimsever, its sharp, obsidian blade glinting amidst the peaceful, warm rays of sunlight basking through the open window. She grasped the weapon by its oak wood handle and gave it a fanciful twirl, a pleasant smirk crossing her lips. Then, from a cabinet resting against the other wall, a few glass vials she gathered and stuffed into a burlap satchel, the vials filled with some bizarre gray dust, and...there appeared to be bone fragments mixed within them.
