It all started with Robotics so many years ago, they were used for everything from serving coffee, cleaning houses, to construction. It didn’t stop there though as robotics increased so did a understanding of cybernetics that could be combined with human biology. The first to become integrated with this was the military, cybernetic augmentations causing their bodies to become more powerful, faster, hiding weaponry, and replacing limbs for those injured in battle. It wouldn’t stop there though as uses for this technology moved into the law enforcement, medical prosthetics, and even underground civilian use where people would have themselves augmented to do everything from committing crimes, to underground fight clubs.
The years went by, and everyone’s standard of living slowly rose with happiness abounding in the seeming utopia they lived in. It wasn’t long though before these enhancements began getting used for the wrong things, everyday cybernetic crime rose, as people with cyberorganic bodies committed murders, robbery, and terrorist acts. Regulations on cybernetic enhancements rose quickly, and those that already had them had to flee in fear of being put under the surgical knife simply for having what had already been legal.This was only the beginning of a very dark time though, a new faction would rise that would change the world of cybernetics forever.
Los Hominis was a thing made of hatred, and fear for what powers Cybernetics brought to organic life, and it’s philosophy fully believed the two should never be mixed, that robotics was to be subservient to man and never to be fused with thus giving humans powers just short of that of something straight out of a science fiction novel. These extremists submitted that regulations were not enough, that anyone with cybernetic enhancements needed to be eliminated, that they were a threat to all life in the world. There was a rift formed in the government, but the more Los Hominis pushed the more they gained favor, even by assassinating several high ranking officials who stood adamantly against such oppression, and genocide.
Only two years after the appearance of Los Hominis, a law was passed for all of Imperial Tiberium banning the use of any and all cybernetic enhancements from usage citing that they posed more of a danger for the advancement of humanity than they helped. Those who possessed cybernetic enhancements were mandated to report to their nearest hospital or shop to get them removed, including those who needed them to live, else they would face life long imprisonment or death should they resist. The common populace of the Imperial Tiberium were split on this law as there were those who wished to retain their enhancements and those who, in the years before, had become avid followers of Los Hominis and sought to rid their cities of the filthy cyberorganics. In the city of Cavasos, the tension between the Imperial soldiers and a sect of Revolutionaries finally broke into an all out civil war. Day and night, war is waged in a small portion of the city that the Revolutionaries have holed up in, the law enforcement and military using synthetic soldiers and robots in place of human lives as the Revolutionaries strike seemingly at random with their own robots and cyborgs.
Things are coming to a head as the battles have increased in violence, with more and more Cyborgs fighting on behalf of the Revolution, and the military increasing their presence hoping to quell this rebellion so that it does not spark revolt through the rest of Tiberium.

This is the interest check for a RP taking place in a world where Cybernetics have advanced to the point that almost thirty percent of the population has some kind of augmentation, whether for medical, military, or criminal reasons. The crime that has risen with heavy use of cybernetic body part replacements has become acknowledged as more than just isolated events and been turned into a National epidemic. People with cybernetic augmentations are being forced to report to local Los Hominis sites to have cybernetic replacements removed whether it will kill them or not.
So you will be part of a Revolution the first one to rise in the nation, in the Metropolis of Cavasos, a small island section of the city known as Babalo will be the headquarters for this group, as it is populated by more Cyborgs than the rest of the city, and with the city being under Martial law by the police it is always safer in numbers. Things are just heating up in Cavasos, and will be up to all of you to push back against the oppressive Los Hominis as they look to destroy everything you and your friends are. With this knowledge you will fight back against the police, to inspire more to join your cause, even if it means bringing the might of the military down on Cavasos. The world has to push back against this oppression or no one will ever be free.
