Eh. I wont have much of an attachment and will get bored really fast, esp since from my experience very rarely do people wanna engage with other people's chars too much. lol.

Lantern! Good to see you at it again. I'm down. I'd like to reserve the Demigod archetype if at all possible. That's where I'm strongest.

Anyways, I think I'll drop techno from my list of potential options... And probably size-changer too since drawing giant people is annoying. ^^; So thinking of rolling with either a magic user or a super soldier I guess. Hmmm.

I'll go with Advanced Techno since @Rin doesn't want to do it anymore and might wanna do a demi god.

You said it yourself that it's the same one you've used elsewhere. An Impossible Man or Slapstick type of character isn't something I'm looking for in the game. I listed several examples of different archetypes that could be used as Wildcards.

@The Kid Lantern I'm slightly confused by the OP/CS skeleton. Is your intention to emulate Marvel/DC with OCs or to create an original cast and story?

@Lord Wraith Just taking ques from the bigger things going on right now in superhero media. Heroes fighting heroes, teams forming, cosmic crisis' building, etc. The universe building big stuff. The archetypes for whatever we go with story-wise are just based on Marvel because they're on point with interconnected universes through different media. Daredevil can exist in the same universe as the Avengers but now it'll actually be going on outside the windows and Daredevil can choose to get involved or not. Or it can remain completely separated and happen months/days before or after what's presently going on in the universe.

And we don't have to form an Avengers like team, we can go completely out of left field and begin creating new original teams with the option of creating additional supporting super-characters together with other players. Or you could just have a series of team-ups or in the case you choose a villain for your archetype different confrontations with superheroes trying to take you down.

Alright well I'll keep this in mind. So far it still seems to lean a bit too heavy on the emulation side for me but depending on the OOC and submitted characters I might apply and run a neighborhood like 'Hell's Kitchen/Gotham' or something. Very up in the air with RPing right now.

Welp good luck mate. Limiting choice in a superhero RP for non OP powersets sets a dangerous precedent. Lots of RPs did the same thing, and they barely got past 40 posts.

Oh boo get out of here with that. Every time you don't get your way you cry out about GM's limiting you. Light is not a universal character and GM's have a particular vision for their RP and it's characters.

If you wish to tell stories with Light so badly, why don't you try GMing your own RP?

I could see you over a corner of the universe with the street level vigilante types and wildcards. I personally wanna get into a hero vs hero battle/rivalry with whatever my wolfman character becomes and somebody like a Big Man/Woman Hulk type or Archer/Sharpshooter.

I mean mate. How often has what I've said happened time and time again? Its just an observation. Maybe Latern can make it not happen? But can't fix a problem if you don't understand why it happens.

Not a huge fan of PvP but it does have its place so I can't say I'd actively seek it out. That said interaction is the life blood of an RP so it'd be nice to team up with people and plan arcs and what not.

Oh right, seem to have settled on super soldier for now but we'll see how that pans out. Current ideas seem to be some random assortment of cloning, alien DNA and stuff. XD

Yes, rejecting your dumb power from an RP is a guaranteed death sentence from an RP.

Somebody needs to learn the world doesn't revolve around them. :P
