Name: Iyra

Alias: The Fire; Flame Mother; Forgeborn; The White-Hot Blaze; The Dancing Flame

Gender: Female

Domain (Portfolio): Fire (Spirit)

Domain (Portfolio) Description: With a roar akin to that of a crackling fire, she springs to life from the forge and bites into the blade that was meant to be tempered, turning the metal molten. Her body is that of the flame, white-hot, scorching all those who draw near to her. As such, her bond to the raw energy is palpable, able to make lava surge, fires dance, force bright flashes to blind, expunging small bodies of water or devouring air. The way she manipulates these things, one could correctly assume that the raging blaze was indeed alive, and can either create animalistic sentience for a protective campfire, or have a passionate soul dedicated to the flame possess otherwise inanimate objects, such as suits of armor, or a statue, or merely be a body of lava. Fire eats, breathes, and grows, and has a soul just as any other living being.

Alignment: Neutral Good. She is the most joyous and warm of motherly figures, willing to take care of her 'children' well.

Personality: Being the representation of fire, it is easy to assume that Iyra was nothing more than an emotion bound, raging destroyer of worlds. While she is quite passionate and will soon be able to do such things, it is typically not in violent manners, rather it is expressed in a deep caring for the realm of mortals, seeing life as a child she must nurture and protect until it can return the favor. It is for this reason that fire is often kept as a source of comfort and protection, for even the smallest lantern warms and guides souls.

Whew! Finally able to post it! Sorry for the long wait. Now, I was told that the "Spirit" portfolio didn't quite fit with fire, and the intention was to be able to breathe (horrible, toxic, suffocating) life into things, in a sense. Does anyone have any suggestions, or will a fire ghost thing be alright?

And, are there any suggestions for me?
Anything I missed?
Besides the description sections, for I fear I included it in the personality section.

So, I believe this was posted when the RP was at a bit of a busy time - so I was wondering, for my good friend revan, if everyone could say what they thought of his Demi-God? Since I believe Kho wanted to know how everyone felt about the GODDESS OF FIYA

@poog the pig She is hot

But sincerely, I see no problem with it, but lets see what others think.

@Cyclone
Great again?

Would that means that Zephy failed at one point to make Galbar always Great?

In truth, we can't make Galbar Great again because it was never great, kinda why I used premierenascence instead of renascence

Ah, now I remember that sheet. It had passed from my mind; when you posted it there were tons of other sheets being thrown about and yours just sort of...got buried.

Your idea is unique and I like it. I do wish that you would have been more specific about what the spirit portfolio powers are, but that'd be a minor addition and perhaps even an unnecessary one.

@Kho@Rtron

We'll have to discuss this sheet over in our secret GM lair.

Nah, I was referring to the previous installation where it was all so boring, at least in comparison to how it is now. My character was just some demigod of emotions and greed that went around killing people (he was sort of a more violent and psychopathic Lifprasil), Vestec trolled the world so much that he had to make a holy order of good guys just to fight all the monsters that he had created, and there were ten times as many dragons as humans or any other race.

Nope, nothing great about any of that. Not chaotic and dystopian enough.

I've realized that the herds of Urtelem scattered across Galbar will be a fairly major source of resistance for any armies marching across Galbar. A single herd, about 10 individuals, would tear through Hain, who would be powerless to stop them. The Fallen Angels would probably also be next to powerless to stop them, save for the more powerful of their spellcasters, although at least they can fly. The Pronobii would get torn through as well, as there is only so much weapons of ice can do to harm solid stone, and their ice shields and armour would be similarly useless. Their combat prowess would help them, but even if they found a strategy to kill and Urtelem they would probably still face heavy losses. Ashlings would put up half a fight, although the Urtelem were built specifically with fighting Ashlings in mind. They'd be evenly matched with other Urtelem. The Fallen Rovaick are variable, although some of them are big enough or powerful enough to kill an Urtelem, not that they wouldn't get hurt.

tl;dr, big angry ten-ton stone men are everywhere and ready to crush Vestec's armies to dust.

@BBeast Wouldn't speed become an issue? Rope making and stuff is already around for a while, and it could become an advantage for the group that can both outnumber and outrun the rockfolk

That of course if they are slow, if they walk normally then forget what I said.

Daaaaamn right they are.

My post is going to take a while, though, and I don't plan to interfere too deeply with the Vestecal (Vestecian?) hordes. Just fiddle around passively with all the races and languages and stuff.

Speaking of 'Vestecal hordes', what are the demonyms of each god, if any? 'Jvanic' is fun to throw around, but it's far from a stab at being creative; I'd probably use that kind of adjective no matter what god I end up with.

@Kho Also, I've added Ull'Yang's age to my post, something that I'm going to make a staple from now on. Just for clarity's sake tbh.
@Legion02 I wonder, can Reathos - since he's the god of Death n' all - just will a being to death? Like, point at them, think "Die" and they drop dead on the spot. Cause if he could do that to any being, there would not be a need for creating a race of executioners... :/

Yes. In fact he sort of did that with a White Giant to get its siphon to create the Pronobii. So why create them? Because he is somewhat against direct involvement of the gods into the dead of mortals. This is why he won't be liking the Adversary (who ate a Hain family). Besides his power to just kill everything won't work (for the sake of not making it too OP) on heroes and demi-gods. So to fight those guys it's good to have an army behind you. And finally, he doesn't want all life to die. He just wants to make it really god damn hard on life for a few moments if he thinks that all creatures (mostly sentient ones) are becoming too lax and lazy. Which might happen if Lif or any other guy manages to truly build their empire.

I feel bad for the Hain. They always get the shit end of the stick. Also, hint hint: Vesamera the Scholar may be visiting the Pronobii in the north.

*South.

For so long as they will remain there. Do you really think that a stranger should come visit them...While they're under siege by pretty much their own brothers and sisters... And preparing for a Great Purge?

Also the Hain won't be the only species getting purged you know?

Who knows, maybe that's the reason Vesamera is visiting?
