Listing four different classes and insisting on bringing something new doesn't make me want to say yes.

Not to say I'm against new ideas in general of course, the flow of information is important, and new minds thinking in different ways is powerful. But the risks of bringing in a new perspective can be just as bad as it is good, and without solid reasons and solid thoughts I can't reasonably say yes.

I will remain neutral on the matter until additional information is had.

All I know is that in comparison to you, jakar and jethro she will be playing a caster type that can bring something none of us have. The three of you are pretty much the same thing. All proficient with a bow and close combat. Each of you play a very genaric Fighter/Ranger build that brings nothing the other can not do. i do not meant to be rude because in truth there is nothing wrong with a lot of DPS. i am just asking that if you expect someone to bring something new than shouldn't you ask what you bring that no one else does? This is not an insult! I mean to point out that we have a lot of melee DPS and very little caster damage and that is why she is so useful!

I am aware this does not have any baring on whether she is recrueted i just want people to consider her with an open mind..

The more the merrier! I am ok with her joining. However, I think there are a few provisions which need to be taken into consideration:

1. I really hope to avoid another rough patch like we had starting out. I don't know what your friend's experience is like with D&D, but if she hasn't played before, I think it would be a good thing for her to read through those basic rules I linked to a while back as a bare minimum

2. I also don't know what her experience is like with roleplaying in general. If she hasn't before, that's great! Hopefully she gets to have some fun with something new. But it also means she needs to understand how it works in this context and how it might differ from other games. Mainly that this is first and foremost a group experience, so she shouldn't expect her character to necessarily have the spotlight all the time, and sometimes it might be necessary to forego exactly what she wants for her character in the interest of, you know, the whole group having fun.

3. She's gotta be committed to it! With seven players, it could conceivably take quite a while for everyone to get their post in and advance the plot. Which is fine, it just means she needs to be ready to go without dawdling all too much when it's her turn. (and I know I am biased on this since I usually like to speed post... so I defer to the rest of the crew on the specifics of this, but I think the point is essentially valid)

But yeah, if she's ok with all that, by all means! I'm not too concerned about exactly what class or character she decides to create (I like to think the character's backstory, personality, and individual perspective can be what they bring to the table, even if their skills aren't 100% unique ;) ), so whatever she thinks she'll enjoy playing. Looking forward to seeing her sheet!

on this point i know what i am about to propose is a double edged sword that will apply to me as well but believe it for the best.. I propose a time limit on how long we all take to post. pretty much like a 24 hours (more or less. ) before their turn is skipped for not being there and those characters will be placed in auto pilot by the Gm or something...

Well we're going to need everyone to weigh in on something like that, of course. I don't think we've really had a problem so far, but it certainly doesn't hurt to think ahead.

this is only to prevent a week or something from being held up by one player.. and keep the flow going and should not change how we play now..

In general your action will be defaulted to nothing after 3 hours of inactivity.

Yeah it short. Lol. But then again you could have me busy and we don't get anywhere at all. If the need arises where the plot needs to move, I will just assume the timeout and default.

I'm just joking that druids, along with clerics, have had a history of being gloriously overpowered. Druid is an official class, there's no real reason to disallow it. Now if it were some weird 3rd party nonsense like dragon rider, then I'd take real issue.

clerics are OP however i have always avoided them cause i do not heal... I refuse.. having to make sure five or more people stay alive is way too much.. people who do it are amazing! but no... =_=

well i believe she sleeps right not i put every thing she told me in my character sheet app though so i can give you her stats i think..

Hmm, if I may offer my humble opinion, maybe you can switch CHA and STR? A moon druid will see quite a bit of melee in animal form, unless the intent is a flying animal to rain destruction down on helpless melee enemies.

Array looks good otherwise.

Zayga, walked back to the carriage tired from the fight. When she get's there she see's everyone rejoicing.. Zayga thinks they are all fools, the battle has only begun, they are bandits, they will come back, with more men and a lot heavily armed... Zayga grabbed onto the side of the carriage and pulled herself up, she glances and Sionnie, *Smiles a her* and get's into the carriage with a big smile on her face, and acting like nothing ever happened.

So err... did you proofread this before posting? because I feel like you somewhat skipped out on that.
