I concur with the rest, once a year is fine with me. Our decisions will carry more weight and be more important that way. If we get fucked over then we can't fall back on a second Sacred Time to help us. I feel like it's more realistic and more in line with the spirit of survivalism that KoDP predicates itself on t b h f a m.

I will put my action when Serheim reached a verdict (i.e. after lexicon posts)

@Jangel13 Demagoj may help somewhat next turn, though he's not exactly suited to such strenuous labor. He'll probably try to enchant the defenses to ignore the children of the clan, in order to minimize accidental injury.

@Shorticus realistically, two a year would be better than one. If it matters story wise, one might be dedicated to Aire and the other to Bodi. It also lets the clan grow faster, accelerating the rate at which things happen, and increasing the chances that our mistakes will come back to haunt us. That's my two cents.

nah my traps need only to be made then set up. they aren't on the field all the time. we would have them built, then store them, then in the event of a forewarned attacked we go out and set them up. If anything you should enchant them to do more damage

@Wernher is having Eliz lead an adventuring party alongside another clan if possible, potentially the Stormcallers. This will require a test of diplomacy and some deal-making. I'll be sending you a PM about this tomorrow, Wernher.

@Lauder Serheim is off on a diplomatic mission to see the Gearalti, hopefully to establish trade. He's bringing a token amount of goods as a gift.

@Eklispe Titania is going to be training some of the youths in warfare this turn. Presumably, old Fintan will be helping.

@Tracyarmav's character, Domagoj, is creating alchemical products to help keep the crops healthy. I'll send you a PM about this tomorrow, Tracy. Since you're not mass producing this stuff, it's not going to cost any goods.

How do sacrifices work, by the way? For instance, if Dunlad were to decide to sacrifice a few heads of cattle to Luigibaid to better our chances, would that work out?

...I knew I forgot something.

Just like in KoDP, there are blessings each god can provide. I'll make a list of them later. However, each god can ALSO provide more specific help if there's something you want done and sacrifice for it. So, sacrificing to Lugibaid to protect your crops from parasites would work, especially in light of a parasite-focused event. Some deities would be really flexible with this; for instance, you could sacrifice to Yvene to get her to speak with the water deities and maybe get them to stop the rains from pouring down as heavily. Etc.

Sure thing. Now, note: asking for a good harvest is actually kind of broad. It's not dealing with one specific aspect of the harvest, but with the harvest as a whole. However...

I will give you guys a list of revealed mysteries ASAP. I'll go ahead and make sure you guys have Lugibaid's Good Soil blessing which just means that your soil is blessed with greater fertility. You still needs to dedicate enough farmers and bad events can still harm your efforts. Etc. Dunlad can be invoking that blessing.

I'm thinking of some things for Maire to do. I might hold off until the next turn to post, but we shall see.

She could be making poison to go on the traps, potions for the journeying gaellochs, both those going north with the chief and those going east with Eliz, etc. and that's just for this turn.

Oh no no, I meant I just wasn't sure if I'd be able to churn out a post between now and when the next turn comes. Thanks for the ideas, though, lol.

So, my normal board game / Tabletop RPG night is NOT happening tomorrow... which stinks for me, but means I have more time to focus on RPing online. Expect me to get busy tomorrow. If everyone's posted and picked actions by tomorrow night, I'll move things forward.
