a five year old girl is playing on the beach. Building sandcastle's and every time the sea comes too close and breaks it down, she runs trough the castle and laughs. She has the time of her life. When she is done with the sand, she walks into the water but not further that that the water hits her small knee. She knows very well that the sea can be scary, her mommy told her that.

''Mommy!! Look !!!! Dolphins!'' The little girl, Lisa, screams out and she suddenly forgets the rules from her parents. She wanted to get very close to those wonderful animals. She ran into the water and before she even realized it or her parents could do something, she was too far away from the coast and a big wave hit her in the face which made her lose the little grip she had.

The school of Dolphins had been swinning by the coast of the rather rougher ocean today. Going to report back to their king Posedion of things they had seen with whaling ships not far off. Then a young calf had seen the young girl and alled out to their lord in a panic. POseidon's great blue eyes opened as his golden hair shines as he appeared near the dolphins and see's the young girl struggling to stay afloat. He whistled softly as the two large female dolphins nodded and swam toward the yougn girl and he helped to hoist her up onto the Dolphins back, catching her eyes with his he gave a small smile before vanishing into the ocean as the Dolphins swam the young girl back to the calmer water near the shore.

Allowing her off the Dolphins slap their tails and made sure she was okay before backing up and flipping back into the ocean waters. The young sea god couldn;t help but smile and watch the young girl and her parents from not far off behind a few rocks watching her with a kind smile.

Lisa was in panic but when the dolphins came closer she felt how she got calmer. She felt onto the dolphin where she could and stopped crying. When the dolphin had brought her back safe and sounds she ran to her mother and hugged her legs tight. She then looked at the dolphins and waved at them. ''Thank you so much! Thank you! I love you dolphins!'' she said.

The little girl was way to busy with the dolphins to notice the person behind the rocks. She hugged her mother and father again. ''Shall we go home?'' her mother asked. ''Can we tomorrow come back to the sea?'' Lisa asked. ''Are you not scared'' her father asked. ''No! The dolphins are my friends.. So is the water'' the little girl said with a big smile.

- 18 years later -

Lisa stood on the boat, together with her other foes. Or foes? It where other divers that tried to win this contest. ''You know what to do Lisa, you know you can do it'' her coach and father said. ''I know dad'' she said and smiled. ''You are the last one so do your best, dive as deep as you can but don't overdo it..'' he said. ''Yes, I'll do my best'' she said. ''Just, don't worry.. You are going to the nationals even without this match'' he said. Lisa nodded.

''Next is our newest winner.. She is known as the Mermaid.. Lisaaaa Hardwelllll'' the guy called out and Lisa walked to the platform. ''Miracles are happening around this girl people'' he said. Lisa smiled and waved. She got ready to dive into the water and when looking at herself she did a silent pray to Poseidon. Then she took her deep breath and dove into the ocean.

The god of the ocean had watched her a smile on his face sitting away from the show the old dolphins swimming around him happily as he looked over and watched her jump in. Sensing something was wrong he dove into the water his eyes lowing as he used the water to get himself future down and saw her struggling. He swam down whistled softly as the two Dolphins where back one guided her but up toward the surface while Poseidon swam around her slightly creating a pocket of air so she could actually breath. His deep light blue eyes flashing in the ocean's water as the dolphins raced to the top with her allowing her to breathing in good water.

Posedion stayed hidden under the waters surface making sure she was okay and safe. The Dolphins stayed a bit longer before swimming off back toward the rocks where the god of the sea sat he smiled gently as he played with the two Dolphins and gave them some fish to eat and make sure they where well feed. He stayed on those rocks most of the time and watched her and made sure she stayed safe his blue eyes glowing slightly smiling gently. he had watched her grow up to be a fine young lady and wished whatever guy she ever fell in love with treated her the best.

Lisa didn't know what went wrong but she had only reached 30 feet when the dolphins came to her and helped her back up. Something had gone wrong, maybe her breath had not been deep enough. She saw a pair of eyes and knew she was safe. She had seen his eyes before during her other contests and even though she never said anything to other. She believed that Poseidon kept an eye on her. She laid a hand on one of her rescuers and looked at the dolphin.

Once back at the surface she thanked them and them got helped up in the boat. She let the 30 feet stick fall on the boat and then looked at her father. ''Are you okay?'' he asked. ''Yes.. They saved me.. just like when I was five.. and that one time in Malibu.. And in Australia...'' she said. ''Almost like they know when to show up.. I am glad the world still have dolphins'' her father said. Lisa nodded and got her towel and laid it around her shoulders. She walked to the other side of the boat and looked at the rocks in the distance. ''Maybe I should quit this sport.. I have so much prizes in it but one day they might not be there or not be in time and then I am not back up.. Plus help to get back up is not fair..'' she said. ''But you love this sport'' her father said. ''I know dad, but if it gets me killed.. no one will be happy.. And I still have my job that keeps me close to the water'' she said. ''I am always standing next to you, you are my daughter and I believe in you'' her father said.

''I resign from the nationals and I am gonna quit the diving without tanks on my back'' she said and nodded. ''I wanna live and keep my love for water'' she said. ''I don't want it to become my grave...'' she whispered and then slid with her hand into the water. ''I love it way too much for that'' she said.

A guy walked up to her. ''You are gonna quit?'' he asked. ''Yes, why?'' Lisa asked. ''Well, now we are not competing anymore.. would you like to go on a date?'' he asked. Lisa looked at him and laughed. ''No, sorry.. I don't date'' she said and shook her head. ''Dad, where is your boat?'' she asked. ''Next to the rocks, just like the others.. why?'' he asked. Lisa shook her head and jumped into the water very gracefully and then started to swim towards the rocks, actually towards the place where Poseidon was sitting.

Poseidon had watched her and her father his godly eyes and ears able to hear and see further than before when he was young. He just sat on his rock smiling as he watched the dolphins swim around the rock before leaving as he relaxed and enjoyed the peace of the sea. Not knowing she was coming pretty much right towards him, his head rested against the rock contently as he smiled softly at the warm sea breeze. His golden hai swayed in the slight breeze as he smiled gently s he hears one of the humpback whales singing and smiled as he saw the old mother he had created a long time ago swimming over slowly to greet him as she smiled and pets the large whale smiling.

"Howare you Tumsikan?" asked the whale let out a large huff of sea water happily as he grinned and laughed nodding his head.

Lisa was a fast swimmer and after a minute or ten, she was at the first rocks and laid her hands on the rocks. She slowly, carefully climbed on the rocks. ''Pffft.. Why are those rocks so damn slippery..'' she said, she climbed more up and when she was at the dry stones. She stood straight and looked around, she saw her fathers boat laying close by.

Yet when she just wanted to start climbing towards it, she saw the big whale and smiled. ''What a beauty..'' she whispered and she climbed towards the bay where the whale was and from a distance she looked at the wonderful animal. ''So big..'' she said and smiled. He could see her but she hadn't seen him yet.

The young God laughed as he pets the whale as it snorted deeply toward him. He laughed and kisses the whales head gently. Hearing the sound of the young lady he whirled around. His eyes large and jumped into the ocean and hides under the surface slightly as the whale slapped it's large tail at him bring him back to the surface as he coughed "your not nice" he poutd playfully

Lisa saw him and was shocked. She thought he fell into the water and she climbed down to help him. When the whale slapped with her tale and brought him back up she reached out. ''Come, take my hand... They are awesome creatures but can be very dangerous..'' she said, she didn't know who he was as she only had seen his glowing eyes a few times when his dolphins had saved her from a wrong dive and he had been close to watch her.

She grabbed his hand and pulled him on the rocks. ''Are you alright? Not hurt?'' she asked and smiled. When she looked at him a little better, she started to suddenly blush. He was handsome! She tried to hide it and smiled some. ''Ehm... Nice to meet you... I am Lisa'' she said. Her bikini was blue with black and had the decoration of small fake sea stars on the top where the cup went to the cord that was knotted in her neck and on the sides of her waist.

"I could never be hurt by the creatures of the sea young lady" he muses gently as the whale did a jump and soaked them wet before swimming off as he gave the whale the finger playfully. He then looked at her "Nice to meet you Lisa, I am Pose- I mean Adien" He said slowly a small smile on his face, he wore nothing but swim trunks.

Lisa nodded and smiled, still having a slight blush on her cheeks. ''They are great.. I love the sea too'' she said and laughed when she was soaked again. The sun only just had started on drying her up so now she was completely soaked again. She looked at Adien with a smile.

''Lisaaaaaa?!!'' Someone called from a distance. ''Oh.. that's my father...'' Lisa said. ''He will be happy that he won the race to the boat... Ehm.. It was nice to meet you Adien.. Maybe we meet again in the future.. If you ever want to swim with dolphins, come by the Blue Lagoon'' Lisa said and started to climb back up the rocks. As she turned her back to him, he could see a small tattoo on her shoulder from a dolphin.. The dolphin that had saved her life as a kid.

Posedion didn't like Dolphins being in captiviy, a place where they never know their real life in the ocean, he nodded his head watching her leave and jumped back into the water swimming off.Smiling as he could see his palace deep under water where none have ever gone as he smiled seeing the merfolk, there and a few servants keeping the kelp beds in order as he smiled and relaxed. He went to take a soft nap as gods never slept , or needed it as it did nothing for them. He was content of relaxing in the salt waters fresh life grinning softly as he hummed gently as a seal pup swam around him slightly.

Lisa just wanted to turn around as she thought about how she forgot to explain something to the guy but when she did, she didn't saw him anymore. She sighed and hoped she would get the chance to explain that the Blue Lagoon was a bay that was free for Dolphins to enter and return to the sea and that she, as a supervisor only let people in the water as she saw that the dolphins where okay with it.

''I hope to see you again Adien..'' she whispered and then walked to the boat of her father. Together with him, she sailed back to the beach.

The followig day he was still at the beach he never really left the oceans waters beign a gold you have more duties then most would have thoight. He couldn't stay on land for very long neither would he want to as he liked water and the ocean. He walked around on the rocks and stared at the ocean slightly still shirtless and still wet. he closed his eyes and relaxed as the water splashed hima few times as he merely smiled laying on the rocks contently.

The next day, Lisa woke up early and got to the blue lagoon right away. She always was the one opening up and she even took the first swim of the day in the bay. She didn't always had the luck of dolphins coming along but most of the times she had.

And today she was lucky again! Two rather large dolphins where swimming in the bay, she got some fish for them and threw it into the sea. She looked at the dolphins, she always did it this way to see if they were hungry and if they were in the mood of swimming with people.

Where the blue lagoon had a bad name before she had worked here, she had taken care of the way the company worked with dolphins right after she was promoted to floor manager. ''Good morning my dearies'' she said to the dolphins and smiled.

Meria didn't come close but in stead of eating the fish, she swam away and went to Poseidon. Once there, she came out of the water and looked at her king. 'Sir.. That girl I saved so many years ago for you works at the Blue lagoon but she changed the whole way of the company.. The bay is now free for us to come in and leave and she takes care of us and the other dolphins.. I wanted to tell you this because I know you had plans to let that place flood.. But I think you would break her heart' she told him by teleportation.

The kong o the sea groaned slightly, he didn't like the place regardless it was just something that rubbed him the wrong way. He did decide to not flood it but there was no way in Hades name he would be going to that place. It was just something Poseidon didn't like and didn't plan on going to either "Fine I won't flood it" he mutters greatly unhappy with a lot of things man had done to the ocean, like whale hunters! Now those Japanese could go sink to the bottm of the ocean and be eaten by sharks for all he cared. He looked at the large Dolphin nodding slowly.

Meria made some happy noises and looked at her king. 'So Stubborn!' she thought and swam away a little just so she could jump out the of the water and splash him a little while coming back into it. 'Good to have your opinion King Poseidon, but do also listen to your heart! You didn't let me save the girl for nothing when she was five' the dolphin said and then swam away to the blue lagoon.

Lisa had opened up the place and checked the agenda. She saw there was a lot of swimming planned and sighed. ''Martino!!!'' She yelled and a rather tall guy came to her. ''Yes?'' he asked. ''Remember what I said? Not more than Three people in the bay at the same time! You triple registeren a group of Five at Noon, two PM and Four PM.. From Noon till one we are closed!'' she said. ''But.. The big boss told me to do so'' the guy said. ''That is true Lisa, we are losing money'' an other guy, begin thirty's said. ''You made me a promise, you would start discuss the things with me if it didn't work out'' she said.

''No, actually in your contract stands that you can try this idea out for three months and after that we will see.. Well, I saw a improvement on the guests we had and on those fish but I saw a down fall in my bank account.. So, you are fired!'' the guy said. Lisa's eyes widened and she swallowed. ''You will kill the dolphins... They will get way to stressed out'' she said. But her boss didn't listen and right at that moment Meria swam back into the bay. ''Get the net up guys, those two fish will do perfectly for today'' he said. Lisa didn't think one moment when she heard that, she dropped her shawl and jumped into the water, wearing a jeans short and a tank top and started to swim.

Deria followed her and Meria thought this was weird, She turned around and saw the net. Lisa tried to go as fast as she could. 'If you two could now just understand me.. or read my mind... That stupid boss of mine just fired me and tries to lock the two of you in.. You two have to get away' she though. Suddenly she thought of something and swam to the surface, she swam to the rocks and climbed up. ''Okay.. Maybe I am ready for a nut house after this but... I fiercely believe in the greek gods... The gods that created this country and I hope with all my heart now that Poseidon please help out.. I was stupid, I tried to reason with someone that should be eaten by a shark a long time ago and now he captured two of the most amazing dolphins I have met so far.. How I know these two are different? Well.. They kept saving me from bad dives when I still did competitions'' she said and her words would flow on the wind into Poseidon's ears. ''Forgive me.. For putting them in danger.. The net he raised is made of stainless steel.. I can't cut trough it and it's not save to let them jump over it....'' she whispered and a tear fell on the rock.

Poseidon eyes snapped open eyes went huge,appearing on the rock and looked at her "Well I should have seen this coming" he mutters gently as he looked at the two dolphins and calmed them down slowly. His eyes looked at the net and got a small idea as he touched the water with his hands humming gently the water near the net started to ice over making the steel brittle, He swam over to the net before blasting it sharply with a tycoon of a wave shattering the brittle net allowing the dolphins out of the cove as he looked at her slowly as the god blinked slightly.

"Its not your fault young lady" he smiled slowly. He whispered somethign toa pod of Orcas as three swam into the bay and splashed and knocked her boss around a bit before fleeing once more.

Lisa looked surprised seeing him and looked at all the things he did. She was amazed and smiled brightly. ''Oh my...'' she whispered and looked at the Orcas. She couldn't help but simply laugh at it some and when they left she smiled. She squats down and looks at them as they swim by. ''Thank you'' she said but didn't dare to lay her hand in the water.

Everybody knew that Orcas where real killers and she really didn't want to lose her arm. She looked up as she saw
Poseidon standing on the rock closest to the water. ''Adien..'' she whispered and smiled. ''Or.. Should I say.. Lord Poseidon..'' she whispered and climbed down the rocks. He stood at the other side of the open space and she just stood there and looked at him. ''I believe that I am not ready for a nut house... But.. I do owe you like.. My life because you helped me'' she said and felt her cheeks turn a little red again.

He looked at her slowly "You do not owe me a thing. But if you ever like to come and visit I can grant you a mermaid tail for swimming to y home castle" he said smiling softly to the mortal he came to be soft around. A small smile placed on his lips as he was careful about his words. He still didn't trust her completely.
