Jasper watches the two with a faint smile on his face. No matter how difficult Kit is, he still finds he like the fluff ball. The show of illusion being one of the things that fascinates him about kit.
He looks back at the shy girl by the name of Nova and smiles fully. "Sure." He saw no problem with being friends with her. "I think it's kind of cool we both have fox spirits" trying to nudge her out of her shell a bit.

Kit meanwhile looks thrilled. He bounces around his new friend with his tails wagging up a storm. 'yay friend! friend like me...but not like me. Yay' Considering his mouth does not move when he speaks it is somewhat hard to tell quite how he is talking. Either way, he seemed to make use of his communication skills. The fox stops in front of his new friend and tilts his head. 'what is your butterfly form like?' The curiosity in his voice is almost like child like wonder. It is now somewhat clear that this fuzz hasn't interacted with anyone else for a long time. Either that or he was just curious.

Maria blushed as Akira took her hand and kissed it, like a prince would that of a maiden's in those old movies. She thought the gesture was incredibly flattering, especially when coupled with the compliment returned to her after a previous comment. The girl was beaming by the time their third roommate made her appearance, jostling her from her giddy school girl moment. Clearing her throat Maria turned to face the newcomer, noticing the gorgeous kimono instantly. Absolutely fascinated by it, she fought the urge to whip out her camera and start taking pictures. She had just met the group after all and she didn't want to spook them with her odd habits.

Polaris rustled behind his charge, his look of boredom never fading though he was sure to nod his head respectfully in greeting to each of the members in turn. "Well child, if you're alright getting yourself settled in I would like to have a look around. I'll see you at the headmaster's speech, try not to be late." He nudged the human softly with his wing before shifting into his much smaller butterfly form, fluttering away gracefully now that he had greeted everyone he deemed important enough to greet. Watching the small yellow critter fly away, Maria sighed and smiled in Rasetsu's direction. She had nearly forgotten that some places throughout the world presented their family's surname before they presented their personal name... But she did know that in such countries, to speak with another using their first name was either incredibly disrespectful or a sign of a close relationshp. Feeling somewhat honored that her new roommate asked them to use her mane so familiarly, Maria's smile doubled.

"Bonjour! I am Maria Desrosiers, but Maria is just fine. And that little fluttering cloud of joy was my guardian Polaris. He grows on you, I promise." Maria laughed as she sat back on her own bed, bouncing slightly to get a feel for the matress. Much to her surprise, it was perfectly balanced between firmness and softenss. The school truly spared no expense for these kids. Turning her attention back to the guardian named Yakou, Maria maintained a warm smile. "There's nothing wrong with a little formality, I think it's great... But then again I'm from France and we often have a very formal way of speaking to one another, so I guess you could say that I am used to it by now." Maria shrugged her shoulders with her palms faced toward the cieling.

The young girl was glad that her roommates seemed so nice, having been worried that she would hve to keep up a certain appearance for image's sake... But she could tell that these two would allow her to relax a little around them. If she would ever let herself get to that point that is. Following Akira's lead, Maria stood up from her bed and began unpacking some of her things, being careful to keep her extra camera equipment hidden from view as she stuffed the items under her bed for safe keeping. "So what to you two think of this place thus far? Live up to your expectations?"

"Kitsune! I read about them in a book once. In Japan kitsune refer to foxes, but there is a lot of lore surrounding them, it ties in with the Shinto religion and their kami Inari...." Nova blushed and trailed off as she realized she had begun to ramble. "Sorry....I t-t-tend to r-ramble."

Tokala flipped through the air and in a puff of pruple smoke was in the form of her butterfly, a monarch looking thing but the only color was varying shades of purple. The butterfly fluttered around and landed on Nova's head. Nova felt the warmth of reassurance and smiled, mentally thanking her friend. The butterfly took to the air and once again became Tokala.

"The spirits....they, um, they are amazing." Nova grinned at Jasper. "I can't believe...that I am here. Because of them. It's a good thing, though!"

Jasper tilts his head seeming to be very intrigued by her rambling. When she stops he gives a small head shake. "it is fine. I much prefer rambling to silence"

Kit bounces back in forth. Clearly he is excited about his new friend's butterfly form as well. With a small leap, he becomes his butterfly self. A large monarch with red instead of orange, purple instead of black, and the same blue eyes. The butterfly flutters around them before landing on Jasper's shoulder and becoming his fox form once more. He seems to be beaming from being called amazing.

Jasper nods and takes the fox from his shoulder and holds him. "I am happy to be here to...." he seems to want to add more to that, but he doesn't.
