This has been a barrel of laughs to witness thus far, I love IC sass, I stopped doing it a long time ago in favour of just calling people out in OOC instead, so the fight at least looks clean from the outside. But IC sass is hilarious.

I know that after all these years I shouldn't but I still find it absolutely mind boggling that there are people who think it's okay to just rewrite entire sequences because they felt like they're losing. I also find it hilarious he thinks I'll agree to a coin flip.

I'll keep writing the same defense until my fingers fall off, I have justice on my side!

I'm not rewriting, I'm simply playing your game by allowing my character time to react to literally everything, just like you. You don't even read my posts all the way through and you try to manipulate my posts. Hell, you didn't even bother with posting your character profile. The only thing I've been doing wrong is copying your play style. I guess though there isn't a word in your style that correlates to "react", just "rewrite" and only when someone besides yourself is doing it.

What's more, I can prove I'm right. How about it?

...Doc in most of your posts you fail to respond to half of the attacks leveled against you, or you continue on with your actions as if automatically assuming that your opponent will always be forced to stop what they're doing.

You're trying to decide, via coin flip, if you can overwhelm someone else's senses instead of asking in OOC or sending a PM asking for any sort of clarification as to how those senses work.

At no point did the Magna Pater even come remotely close to clotheslining her, least of all with its left wing. What I did was offer up a potential move that the monster seemed likely to do as it neared, which it actually did do in the next post.

Star had been anticipating everything in advance and stating so in her actions, but I just wasn't letting my character be railroaded along by what she wanted to do. And surprise, surprise, her response involves her having not understood or misinterpreted my post /again/. Instead of making a coherent response, she hints that I backtracked (when in the previous post I literally proved that I didn't) and decided to change the momentum of her hammer mid-swing after stating that she had already swung, when my character's action was before that. She even tosses in a logical fallacy by stating she both knew what the monster was going to do and didn't know at the same time, somehow turning this to her advantage and using it to know about the secret attack. I don't know either, so don't ask.

Please don't compare your style to mine, that is legitimately insulting.

The main difference between you and me is that I react and you retract. I put legitimate effort into including your character as a viable member of the roleplay by reacting to your nonsense before I finally got tired of it. Most if not all of my defensive pieces were placed on the board and have been in play since the beginning of this engagement if not the thread itself, even if you failed to notice them until later they were always primed to react to your offense. Meanwhile when you aren't trying to fit entire actions into your previous turn you are retracting your previous actions to better suit your needs, and that's if we're lucky enough for you to react at all.

The thing you don't seem to get is that if you retract your action you also retract my reaction. In simple language every time you decided that you were throwing instead of swiping or screaming instead of licking you left the same defense I used before free to keep defending. You never committed to removing my options from play, you never seemed to plan beyond the moment, and your moves rarely connected to one another in a meaningful way. If something didn't work you just rewound time and tried again, why would I change my game plan for that, not only do I not have to but you made it clear that if I did you wouldn't give a flying fuck about it anyways.

I'm not entirely sure you're being malicious with this either. I mean there are points where you blatantly go out of your way to disrespect what your opponent wrote but I feel like a legitimate powergamer would have done something clever with all of the chances you've been given. I had one guy delete my character's profile to remove all of my powers from play, it was hilarious especially considering my profile was still posted for everyone to see, but there was something of an idea hiding beneath the mountain of salt. You spent three turns straight charging a defensive formation that you acknowledged was there, never attempting to bypass it or even destroy it, and only once attempting to disregard it.

You could make a legitimate complaint about Satori's versatility but in this thread the GM has an entire army of monsters and one of the party is/was a legitimate reality bender. It's not my fault you decided to join with an overstuffed snausage whose major selling point is that he sweats a lot and somehow thought you could bully everyone else into submission, and if you had joined with one of your character creator monstrosities it might have worked, but as it stands you're playing something that doesn't even legs or arms against characters who don't even need arms and legs. Besides even if you really wanted to complain about her kit, it's readily available in other threads and you had plenty of time to reconsider joining after I posted, but she's only really used two of a dozen plus tools available to her.

Before I get started I'd like to point out that was my tenth post out of sixteen. Could I have been more forthcoming with questions? Yes. Had you been acting like an asshole for the other nine posts? Double yes. Was I rolling with your bullshit to try and facilitate a decent roleplay? Double dog yes.

That said this example is funny because I actually discussed it with Nega before I posted and that was largely because you provided so few details I wasn't entirely sure how to respond. So before this you dodged my attack by charging forward and to the right. This already constitutes an etiquette issue because you are indirectly stating that your character is so fast you can actually charge into my line of fire and still have time to dodge, effectively making Satori look like a retard.

But okay rolling with it.

At this point there is less than fifteen feet distance between them, I didn't mention the exact numbers but in my previous post Satori was approaching and I never mentioned her stopping. The Pater is nine feet long and described as impossibly fast meaning that distance is nothing to him, just laying down would have covered two thirds of the space, which is also exactly why Satori was approaching slowly and not charging. When you came in with your swings you did not mention getting back in line with Satori(who was firing straight ahead) and actually went so far as to mention getting past her to attack Eubeal. So were you just assuming I would get out of the way, a bold assumption considering Satori's widely publicized relentless advance strategy, or did you just think you would be able to steam roll her? Both etiquette issues.

And if you are passing someone by and swinging from side to side it looks a lot like a clothesline.

Whoops dub post. But while I'm at it I'd like to point out that providing a set of actions that your character could do is fucking stupid. This isn't a choose your own adventure book. If that's how a roleplay works we'd be better off holding a debate, it'd waste less time and get to the point a lot quicker.

I've provided my proof already and need nothing else. Consider it a token of good will that I stopped interfering with Darko's plot and didn't impress how Satori hadn't become a helplessly insane vegetable during her nap after having Slimy's toxins admitted into her system and not knowing to purge them beforehand, with said toxins being immune to conventional supernatural healing.
