"That makes them all the more precious" Connor replied softly, giving a soft sigh as Kijani ran off. He shouldered his pack, and followed after her, not particularly worried about Mimic. The worst he'd do would insist on Connor fighting him. Connor thought back with fondness to the first day last year, conquering Mimic simply by leaping in without warning. Well, at least knocking him flat on his back for a second.
Now he wasn't so useless with his suit, and he had improved, at least somewhat, with fighting skills-q lack in his knowledge that he would seek to improve this semester.
It seemed he was mere moments late, as Mimic was telling the class what they could do. Rather then sneak in, and probably make a fool of himself, Connor set his backpack down and said "well now, it wouldn't be fair to go against any of the new students, so that leaves me with you, Mimic. Shall we have a rematch of last year?"
Sometimes people needed to follow someone, and by doing this Connor could set an example and hopefully help ease in some of the newer students.

Harry winced as they were told what they would be required to do for this class. He had never taught in his life, and his powers weren't exactly made for it, except perhaps his strength-which would only be useful if he got a hit in. He didn't want to fight. What if he accidentally met someone's eyes?
He dropped his gaze to the desk in front of him, hoping he wouldn't have to fight
