My name is Darion. I'm a 21 year-old male, living in Massachusetts, which makes my timezone eastern standard. I have been roleplaying for several years and haven't made it back to the guild since the old site went down over two years ago, instead opting to roleplay privately with a close circle of friends. Those friends have either fallen away or distanced themselves from the hobby, so I'm looking for some new acquaintances to fill the proverbial void.

I prefer to get to know someone on a personal level alongside the roleplay. It helps me to better understand what they like, beyond simply asking for a list of interests, ideas, or characters. If you're not comfortable becoming friends, I don't believe I'd be interested in roleplaying for very long. I would additionally prefer to communicate off-site, over some IM programme, but this is not required as I'm aware that some people are more wary than others and have their own preferences to this end.

I have been trying to find a partner that would like to do a post-apocalypse type roleplay. Either lovers surviving together, two people from two very different backgrounds tossed together and have to work together, or maybe brother/sister pairing. To answer your question regarding anime, I specifically dislike anime fandoms. If you're using anime or unrealistic pictures for your character, that shouldn't really be a problem, so long as I can extrapolate what I see in the image with what would it would be like in real life.

I'd love to get into a high fantasy roleplay, though i don't have any plots drifting around right now. Is this something you're still interested in?
