A trait I suspect that several members of the crew will also take on to deal with the fact that their Navigator is a heavy drinker. Just wait until the mid-warp jump vox message "Look Emperor, no hands!"

Drake is striking me as Harry Flashman in space.

Though if he were Flashman, I suppose his first action on landing would have been to push the other three in front of him before shouting "We're going in!" and then jogging very very slowly behind.

Sorry guys, I'm going to have to drop out of this RP, I'm trying to restrict the number I'm in and I think I'll probably end up forgetting to post in the slower ones anyway so think of this as kicking me out before I delay the RP by a week.
