Galawayn wasn't really angry, not yet anyway. What he was right now though, was worried. The spellbook the rogue had lifted from his pockets was suite valuable to him. Not because of its contents, those could be replaced. He wanted the book itself back. Like his decorated staff, his spellbook too was a memento from home. The opening passages werent magical formulas but simply a collection of poetry from his mother and sister, the fine leather cover was tastefully decorated with the glarman family emblem. The book breathed nobility, much mike his staff.

"I don't know what you're trying to accomplish, and frankly I don't care. I see you set yourself down comfortably. Let me show I don't mean to fight right now." With a clatter, the staff was laid on the table, equally as far as the rogue had lais her weapons. "Now tell me... what's stopping me from calling the town guard on you for petty theft?"

"You can have your Book. I do not need it. I only want your attention for a moment..." Sionnie said calmly as she slid his spell book gently across the table. "I-I would like your help." Sionnie said quietly. "I want to know more.. More about my Heritage, about my Powers. I want to make a pact and i need a tome that can show me how.. Can you help?" She watched Galawayn carefully now to see how he might react. This was forbidden magic, the kind a goody wizard like him might feel strongly against. However, She wondered if he had realized her blood lust yet in the battle against the bandit leader, no, Not yet. She was beginning to fidget and the couple of seconds felt like hours.

Galawayn's pointed ears perked up at the tiefling's confession. "A pact?... What sort do you mean?" Galawayn could already guess what this tiefling probably meant. It seemed she was on the foolish path of embracing her cursed heritage. "I would suggest letting these sleeping dogs lie... Nothing but tears can be had from the lower planes." The wizard stood up and held his hand out to the rogue. "Now... my book, if you please?" He asked... Immediately followed by his lips silently miming out an additional sentence. "This is not a subject to discuss in polite society... If you are absolutely sure about this, then meet me somewhere before midnight... better I help you with this than you get involved with some demon cult or another."

He turned around and went back to Jethro, who he assuemd was still negotiating with the elves. His step carried a huff just slightly too juxtaposed with his covert offer of help... As if the gnome was playing an act. He hoped the tiefling would understand revulsion was to be considered the standard response in public.

Jethro enjoyed the company of the lady dwarf as long as he could. When she asked his name he blushed slightly and chuckled embarrasingly. "Milady, how rude of me. Jethro, Jethro Roranson from Hammerfell. Pleasure to meet you, Miss...?" He held his question aloft for her answer then wished her good day with a polite kiss to her hand. After parting ways he made way for the bar again. Joing back up with Jakar he noticed the bar devoid of of any mead. "Oi, I thought you were buying drinks? I asked for a mead before the dance floor beckoned me. Barkeep! Your finest mead in your largest stein!" Ordered the dwelf slapping the bar merrily. He was in a good mood indeed.

Jakar, who had drifted back over to bar after the strange treatment from the elves, was silently musing when he noticed both Galawayn, Sionnie, and Jethro had rejoined him. Shaking his head as if to clear his thoughts, he apologised to Jethro. "Aye. Forgive me, I was distracted with some business. Let my friend here have all he wants!" he called to the bartender, as the man prepared Jethro's mead.

Turning, he quickly explained his scheme and all that had transpired to his companions, including the odd behaviour of the elves.

"Not that it's unlike them to be aloof," he said, "but they almost seemed unnerved. I reckon it's something other than ordinary highwaymen on those roads, if there be anything at all."

He fell into pensive silence for a moment before continuing. "If the mayor is indeed willing to meet with travellers such as ourselves, we ought to visit him. Whether or not he knows what's troubling the merchants, it's likely he'll know the best ways of establishing ourselves in this city."

Sionnie looked at jakar in conteplation and leaned on his shoulder for the whole 2 second she was capable of being comfortable with it. She saw him watching the gambling tables again and decided to speak up as she watched them with him, never looking at him just speaking.. "I am sure an old man such as your self has learned from such follies as theirs.. Though i would place my money on the man on the left with the black hair and that cocky smile he is doing well to hide.. You?"

Zayga eventually walked back over to the bar, and sat in a stool beside Jakar, as soon as she sat down her head hit the table and you could hear a small grumble coming form her.

The moon elf enters the tavern unknowingly looking for guidance. Her sense of direction was next to nothing, but felt as though fate brought her here. Her vision twinkles upon sight of several people in the crowd who seemed to be on their own and devoid of the others. She approached the five.

-----------

Jethro Roranson

You learned the lady's name, she spoke it in a whisper-- Kaitlyth. She promptly leaves your side as you go to the bar for drinks.

He was seemingly preoccupied with the drinks that the bartender had brought for him. "More Dwarf Pisswater!" He shouted as the large pint was downed quickly by the dwelf and the bartender serves another. "Aye! This ones for the lady!"

The young elf approached the five strangers she had been sent to retrieve she says to them "Hello, you five must be the group that I'm looking for, My name is Cypress Faye, I'm here to fetch you for the mayor, he said he sought out an audience with you a lot! Haha" then she extended her hand to greet Dyllon as she smiled carelessly.

"Well, thank you for the drinks Jakar but I think I will take my leave. Goodbye all. It was...... odd traveling with you. May our paths never cross again." Zayga says with a very serious look on her face. Zayga gets up and walks out of the tavern.
