Yuki is best used for aggressive defence. It's really bad for a whole multitude of reasons to have her stick close. XD

Which is why Akane does want them to work together. She can't get her reward if they end up failing lol. Hell I think two of the characters in the group are essentially anti army samurai lol, but Asuka actually got injured seriously in this fight. Basically they might want to talk about how they are going to work this out later. Akane however wouldn't be that great in suggesting that option without a insult.

Well Akane wants the money and this is really the only chance she has to get extremely rich off of this.

Sounds like guys could've used the help of a certain two-sword style samurai in your conflict.

Welp, maybe Akane should be more helpful where they can see. >:D

Also, Hanami healed Asuka's injuries so she shouldn't really be that injured anymore.

XD Well its not really a shot against her, but it does seem like if she was alone she would have made it out of that situation without serious injury.

Kaede's fighting style specifically requires her to get injured usually

She goes in bold and takes injuries on her own terms before they can get the drop on her

Jeez, between combat styles favoring injuries and people who don't work well in a protection or team based situation, the Princess is in for a rough ride.

Luckily, she has the amazing twin-sword samurai on her side.

Or she will once she finds her again.
