Now I do feel the need to re-ask you now that everyone who's applied so far is either approved or more-or-less ready to be approved, but you're all prepared for segments of this roleplay to just be character-driven, right? It won't be Part III's 80% punching formula (as much as I love it), there are going to be segments where they're just trying to solve the mystery, or generally just sort of... loitering. This also means you might be doing some collabs, too.
By all means am I more than happy to play along in the lulls, that quiet life. I've been in far too many RPs that drag on and become stale through the endless amounts of combat. Though the JoJo setting surely spices that up to be far more interesting. Nevertheless, I do tend to love simple character interactions. All good to me!
Also, very glad to see that you like Jules, shall I pop him over on the character tab then?

Certainly, be my guest! I should likely do the same, I'm still acclimating to the new layout.
I'm certainly down for her bein' a member of the Bratva, but I feel like I should say that if that's the case, (i) I'll be playing her father (for later plot reasons) and (ii) She isn't necessarily in regular contact with The Zodiac Killers, either - they're daddy's toys. Is that alright? If so, we're grand. Glad to see you back, though! Maybe we'll arrange Ram Jam to appear as an NPC, that'd be a fun little easter egg.
The character portion is approved, but I'm marginally concerned about the stand. Not because I think it'll be OP but because I'm vaguely worried it might be less powerful than you desire? Most of the story will follow The Rats so you might not find much in the way of opportunities to create the horde you might so desire. But once we've parsed that part out, we can add you to the CS tab.
NOTE: I feel as though I should mention I'm a fairly competent Russian speaker, if you ever want me to put things into Cyrillic for you (because anglicised Russian never does look quite right) I'm always happy to translate whatever ends up in my PMs.
Awesome! Glad to be back ^^
As for her Stand, I can also see that being a problem unless she's just like stealthily dropping hairs in everyone's food all the time lol. That being said, she already has a small group at school (who once again are not the B-Rats) "indoctrinated" by her Stand, and granting herself and the Rats superhuman Stand strength in addition to their own Stands is already a somewhat potent ability, just not an OP one. Maybe in order to beef it up I could add some kind of telepathy or something in addition to the brainwashing? The easiest buff of course would be to just remove the part about how the Stand gets weaker the more it splits up its power, but I'll leave that to your discretion.
Also that'd be great. I was thinking the same thing, honestly (the part about anglicized Russian never looking quite right I mean). Do all the phrases and insults I have listed in the sheet check out, btw?

I get ya, man- we gotta carve out this story for ourselves. I'll try not to let you down. I just hope I can actually nail down how I can best express the character I'm creating here.
But without further ado, here's the finished sheet!
Stand User Name: Camero Cornell Shepard Age: 18 Gender: Male Appearance: At 5'9" and 180 lbs (175cm and 81kg), Camero isn't exactly outstandingly built, as far as features are concerned. His black hair is kept in forward-swept spikes, relaxed just enough to look almost like a normal scruffy harido if you squint at his silhouette. For being classified as a delinquent, his features are relatively clean and unblemished, almost giving the impression of an 'untouchable' man.
His typical wardrobe is a biker jacket over an undershirt, cargo pants, and boots. On school days, he'll most often wear a white-trimmed dark blazer over a light t-shirt, slacks and loafers. He puts a lot of care into his jackets, and will only rarely take them off or leave them alone. His wardrobe is most often subdued in color, if not monochrome.
Personality: You'd expect someone labeled as a delinquent to be brash and tough, or at least in an ever-serious 'cool' expression. Camero doesn't seem to acknowledge this much at all, normally being calm and quiet, even distant. His nature as a subdued individual who would viciously counter any threat against him with violence is all but no more, discarded in favor of a more contemplative and casual attitude - a radical transformation he realized when the reality of his Stand was revealed to him.
He's not the kind of guy that will go out of his way to cause trouble or get into fights. He's actually generally well-mannered, thoughtful, and even clever - he would be a top-notch student if he actually dedicated his time to it. Instead, however, he tends to express more interest in practical things like mechanics and sketching, with a mild hand in skating. Perhaps, if it were not for his certain upbringing, that would be it. Underneath all that, however, he has a certain sense of justice- the kind that would compulsively hunt down and kick the shit out of every genuinely evil bastard in the county if he didn't put a lid on it himself (and thankfully, he does).
Overall, he's a fairly laid-back and well-tempered person in a casual environment, while proving himself quite capable of force, action, and initiative when it comes to it. His not-so-secret distaste of the cruel-hearted, manipulative and abusive is exactly why he's associated himself with the militia of delinquents known as the Boomtown Rats.
Biography: Born and raised in the Seattle area of Washington state, Camero wasn't exactly an exceptional youth at the time. He would be outgoing, as children often were, but would have difficulty actually making and establishing friends on his part, for reasons he himself didn't quite know. This would unfortunately single out Shepard just enough to become a target for the stereotypical bullies of the late elementary school environment. Needless to say, it was a position he didn't like to be in and quite wanted to get out any way he could. Eventually, it all reached a boiling point when Camero found himself on the verge of being beaten senseless during his outdoor lunch.
Fear, frustration, and the sheer desire for more power saw Shepard's stand awaken, and before he had even realized it, the young boy had beaten the clique of young teens with only his plastic eating utensils. Barring the severe repurcussions of the event, Camero suddenly found himself with the reputation that he could beat anyone to a pulp with just a spoon, even going so far as to be called "Spoonman". This put the poor kid to the subject of many tests willing to test out this wild proclamation- not quite understanding the ability that got him into this mess, Shepard forced himself to man up and take on these hardships headfirst. By the time he left elementary school, he had been kicked out of two previous schools for being a needlessly violent delinquent.
In hopes of correcting this, Camero's mother took her boy and moved to the quiet town of Pleasant Valley - against these wishes, Shepard's father stayed behind in Washington to pursue a major business opportunity. The transition and the new town didn't quite mellow out Cameron as his mother had hoped; the latent Stand User ultimately found himself quite at home among the fellow delinquents of Pleasant Valley High.
Time, and the nature of Pleasant Valley, did eventually prove to calm the young man regardless, and he began to pursue more productive interests than his own bloody survival within a school environment. Most recently, he has found himself joining the Boomtown Rats in an effort to try and learn more about his own Stand (affectionately named Spoonman in reference to his old nickname) and possibly harness it for a greater purpose.
Namesakes: Matt Cameron, Ben Shepard, and Chris Cornell- the drummer, bassist, and lead singer/guitarist (respectively) of the American alternative/rock band Soundgarden. Also a pun on the Chevrolet Camaro.
Stand Name: Spoonman Appearance: A figure of roughly Camero's size and build, draped in raggy cloaking and a wide-brim hat that gives the very vague appearane of a old west gunslinger. Robotic limbs of a teal tint extend from the shadows of its rags, the arms terminating in impeccable metallic hands. It's face and torso remain in eternal shadow that shrouds the Stand in mystery along with its cloth, two scarlet-red blips of light serving as its eyes.
Power: Item Empowerment - Spoonman has the ability to take any mundane tool or utensil and inflate its capability to dramatic effect. For example, a plastic knife in Spoonman's hands would have the cutting ability of a sword, or a spoon the impact of a mace. An item that would not have any significant destructive potential would be granted it: an eraser would turn into the likes of a deadly razor. Effectively, an object held in Spoonman's hands gains the same 'stats' as the Stand does, Destructive Power just being the most notable increase.
This ability is limited in several ways. Firstly, an item is not changed in shape, so a small utensil would remain small and thus be difficult to use offensively. Secondly, the item must remain in Spoonman's hands in order to be empowered- the moment the item leaves Spoonman's grasp, it loses that power, preventing the use of empowered projectiles. Third, an item can only be empowered up to a certain natural threshold- a knife could be given the cutting power of a masterwork sword, but an actual sword could not be made notably stronger.
Finally, for now, Camero hasn't experimented extensively with his Stand, and is yet unaware of how his Stand's ability could affect items with more complex uses. He currently has knowledge of Spoonman's use of simple kitchen and writing utensils, such as spoons, forks, pens, and erasers.
Stats: Destructive Power: A Speed: B Range: C Durability: C Precision: B
I would've liked to include reference pictures, but I didn't use any and can't be arsed to find good depictions.
Ah, but isn't that the point? Like Passione, the gangsters that all ended up being good guys somehow? Besides, I'm the one guy that doesn't have a pompadour- *kicked*
Well, I'm all in for round two. I'll have my sheet up sometime today or tomorrow, just want a little bit of time to check back over the old one and fine-tune as necessary.

I'm throwing together character ideas... don't have anything too solid at the moment. Maybe a more innocent/peaceful girl who ends up hanging with the Rats because... well, they're rude and brash, but stand users gotta stick together and they're not actually bad people.
I've got three concepts for stands too. Material Girl: Animate and act through nearby cloth. Maybe turn the user into cloth too, but that might be a bit too Jolyne. Even if she is the best JoJo. Spice Girls: A quintet of elementals, one of which is the true stand, the rest are illusory duplicates Seven Seas of Rhye: Something water based? I just like the song. I challenge the mighty titan and his troubadours!
I'll probably have something more solid after browsing safebooru for a bit and getting a good pic. Feedback appreciated though.

I'm swayed towards Seven Seas of Rhye just because of how much I love the song.
Would it be alright if I was the sister of one of the Stand Killer's victims? Unless I've missed something, they've not all been named, but I don't know what you've got behind the GM's curtain.
So far, I'm thinking that from a family of Stand users, Mercury Deacon and the earth-shattering Stand 'We Will Rock You' was killed, and her sister Taylor May with 'Seven Seas of Rhye' is determined to get to the bottom of it. Family surname pending, but Queen seems a bit too on-the-nose. Maybe that's the out-of-town matriarch's stand...
I quite like this image for inspiration http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=913333 and I see Taylor May as a fairly successful student, on her way to follow her big sister into college. She doesn't get into trouble, or act out beyond the usual teenage rebellion. Her electric guitar probably wouldn't be her parents' first choice, but playing an instrument does look good on college applications...
Seven Seas of Rhye appears as a green-blue trident-wielding mermaid, with a large numeral '7' in place of a face. It has a 'territory' effect with seven distinct abilities. The size of the territory and the available abilities is dependent on the amount of water nearby for SSoR to act through.
'I descend upon your earth from the skies' - Water is pulled from the atmosphere, encouraging it to rain. Area and intensity of rain depends on available moisture. 'I command your very souls you unbelievers' - Taylor May controls water around her, including water inside people, though other Stand-users are immune to this aspect. 'I stand before you naked to the eyes' - The Stand manifests, ready to fight 'Storm the master-marathon I'll fly through' - Requires a heavy rain storm, Taylor May can fly within her territory 'By flash and thunder-fire I'll survive' - Requires a lightning storm, adding thunder and lightning to Taylor May's arsenal 'Then I'll defy the laws of nature and come out alive' - Requires a lightning storm, Taylor May controls the water in cells to rapidly heal wounds to herself and allies 'I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye' - Requires a hugely intense storm, SSoR becomes a whirlpool pulling foes inside itself to churn, toss and eventually drown them if it's not soon defeated.

I have all the victims' names down already but if you'd like she could be an estranged sibling, hence the name change. Think you might have a bit much going on stand-wise, though, as much as I like your thinking.
Howdy folks, I've been a bit under the weather the last couple days but I'm back on duty now. If you have any remaining questions direct them to me, we'll be starting within the week.
But anyway, now that the one significant change has been okay'd, here's my sheet:
「STAND USER」
Name:Florence Squire
Age: 18
Appearance: Florence is a reasonably tall girl at 5'10", with blue eyes and medium-length red hair usually kept in a ponytail; it'd be hard to call her 'slender', but she's fairly lean and keeps herself in fairly athletic shape besides. Her dress code is unisex, though she generally goes for less feminine clothing outside of special occasions; most of the time, she's wearing jeans with a jacket over a short-sleeved t-shirt. When moving around at night or during cold days, she wears a well-worn black overcoat.
Personality Summary:
To external appearances, Florence seems a perfectly ordinary young woman, if a little on the reserved side. Compared to many of the other members of the 'Stand Community', she's something of a bastion of normality; one of the few sane and normal individuals amongst a disconnected gaggle of weirdos, psychopaths and tryhards. Her personality is a mixture of the everyday; cynical yet essentially good-natured, somewhat sardonic and yet welcoming, firm yet friendly.
The truth, however, is that she fits better into the Stand Community than it may seem. Her behaviour, whilst not entirely disingenuous, masks a rather ruthless true nature formed by difficult formative years. She is more than willing to take morally questionable actions and twist the truth for her own benefit, and whilst it remains a stretch to call her malicious the fact remains that she is far more twisted and cunning than she presents herself most of the time. Much of this facet of her personality is based around a desire to live a quiet, orderly life; she doesn't outright resent the abnormal and unusual, and appreciates the abilities her Stand grants her (whilst maintaining rather affable and offbeat interactions with it), she's largely kept the rest of the Stand Community at arm's length and has made it perfectly clear what she'll do to maintain her existence.
In short; whilst Florence isn't strictly an unpleasant person deep down, her outward persona belies how ruthless she can be, whilst her desire for a quiet life makes her interactions with other Stand Users something of a crapshoot.
Short Biography: Florence's life before she came to Pleasant Valley was a fairly difficult one; her parents divorced at an early age, her mother gaining custody of her and not having a whole lot to do with her ex-husband outside of the occasional visit and child support. It wasn't a life filled with tragedy, but it wasn't entirely the most functional one; besides the shaky financial situation they were in, her mother was estranged from her family and often acted strangely, seemingly talking to herself. Because of this, Florence became relatively self-sufficient at an early age.
However, around the beginning of her last year in elementary school, her mother contracted pneumonia, later dying due to complications after she wasn't able to obtain medical attention quickly enough. As of this, she went to live with her father, who had fallen on difficult times and taken up alcohol, in another city; and it was around this time that the stress and grief of her situation caused mysterious phenomena to manifest around her. Eventually, her father decided it would be best to move out of the city; besides his own problems, it was clear that Florence wasn't happy there, and Florence almost being injured or worse in a major accident at the time helped to twist his arm in the matter, convincing him to head for a safer environment. Unbeknownst to him, Florence hadn't been in any real physical danger; whilst he'd have no way of knowing, by this point she had a strange being guarding her, a strange being in a spacesuit that only she could see.
So they ended up moving to Pleasant Valley; her mother's family had come from Pleasant Valley originally, and whilst she'd been estranged from her parents, her younger brother, similarly distanced from them, reached out to Florence and her father after his parents passed on, contacting them shortly after the accident and offering to temporarily support the two financially if they moved to Pleasant Valley. So shortly before she began her first year of middle school, they packed their bags and left for the coastal town. Things changed much for the better; her father was finally able to get his life together in their new home, and the town was a far less intense environment than what she'd been subjected to before. On top of that, she was better able to understand the situation she was in with her strange astronaut friend; she saw similar beings around the city, and it wasn't long until it emerged that they had a name- Stands.
She's changed a fair bit between then and now; whilst there were bumps along the way and she's still somewhat reserved, she's definitely come out of her emotional shell, and now that she's started her final year in High School, she seems to be working hard for the future. Whilst awareness of the dangerous nature of Stands has lead her to keep a small distance between herself and the rest of the Stand Community over the years, practicing privately and doing her best to keep her Stand on a tight leash, the recent incidents and the threat they represent have convinced her to at least seek out the Boomtown Rats.
Namesakes: Florence Welch, lead singer of Florence and the Machine, and Chris Squire, bassist and founding member of Yes.
Description of Appearance: Life on Mars is a humanoid stand, standing at roughly 6'7" and chiefly resembling an astronaut in a spacesuit with a dark red body. The secondary colour of the Stand is blue, comprising the specific structures and details appropriate of a spacesuit, as well as the sun visor and a series of pipe-like structures emerging from its back. The sun visor itself has a pair of burning red eyes visible from behind the blue, as well as a red Mars Symbol carved in-between them. The final detail is a blue cap on top of it's red helmet, resembling one that a ship's captain would wear.
Stand Ability: Life on Mars has the ability to control gravity within a ten-meter radius of itself. Rather than a passive ability, it is activated and de-activated at will; the default setting for the gravity within that radius upon initial activation is just over a third of Earth's regular gravity, roughly equal to the gravity on Mars. The specific range of the ability allows it to adjust gravity to anywhere between Earth's value and a value of zero; with enemies and their Stands becoming subject to Earth's gravity again the moment they leave the area of effect. A secondary ability of Life on Mars is to automatically adapt to the gravitational changes; whilst enemies and their Stands may become disorientated or have their functions interrupted, Life on Mars will automatically adapt to the changed gravity. To be able to move unhindered in lower gravity settings, however, it must use the pipe-like structures integrated into its body to navigate; using them to direct and discharge air that Life on Mars has sucked into its body and compressed in order to move about. This compressed air can also be released as an offensive or defensive measure to repulse or stun enemies, though this can backfire and send Life on Mars flying away if used at a low enough gravity setting.
Whilst unable to talk like some stands are, Life on Mars does express a reasonable measure of independent thought from Florence; specifically, it conducts itself in an extraordinarly savage manner in battle, but acts a lot like a curious child otherwise, often picking things up and carrying them around with it for no real reason and being somewhat possessive of Florence. It also gets bored easily unless its user keeps it reigned in, which can lead to trouble.
