Hello, everyone! I am simply stating a friendly hello and apology for my recent absence. Personal familial matters called, and I had to take a break from most things I found fun. But I am back now!
Taran walked into the dank, dark dungeon. "Hey Flint...are you here?"
A shape appeared in the dark, and a familiar voiced called out. "Oh yes little Taran I am." Suddenly Taran was grabbed from behind by an all too familair set of arms. Flint stepped forward to reveal himself in the scant light that filtered in from the dungeon's entrance. "I'm not alone though."
"What is this!?" Taran struggle futilely against the Admiral's iron embrace. "You said there'd be chocolate!"
"There is little Taran." Flint unwrapped a chocolate he'd had stored in his pocket, popping it into his mouth he drew closer. He pressed his lips to Taran's, and pushed the chocolate into his mouth. Biting the boy's lip he pulled away. "Enjoy."
"Oh I will dear Flint." Came Yamamoto's humid voice, his lips inches from Taran's ear. "This will save your derry air for at least a month."
"Good, I'll leave you to it then...I've got witches to kill." Flint gave Taran one last peck on the cheek before moving past him to exit the cave. "Have fun little Taran, you'll be here awhile."
Flint exited the dungeon into the warm sunlight. He sighed as he paused for a moment. The sounds of slapping flesh echoed from the dungeon behind him. "Sorry kid, but I gotta look out for number one you know?" He turned up his cloak and headed back to town.
Fenros was waiting in the room they were sharing when Flint arrived back. "Did you get rid of the Admiral?" He asked from the bed.
"Yes, I managed." Flint was already undoing his belt buckle. "Taran will last at least a couple of hours, we'll need to be quick ok?"
Fenros' eyes gleamed with lust as he grinned lasciviously at his brother. "I think I can manage, you alway were a tight one after all."
The slippery vagrant Xathi prowled the depths of the RolePlayers Guild thread. They snuck silently and swiftly, in the dead hours of night, as to not be detected. But Xathi's guiles of imperceptible shade were nary a task for the great Aerandir to detect. With great prowess and awareness, Aerandir spotted the sly rogue, and quickly put an end to their anonymity. The Great Aerandir brought Xathi to the High Fixer Meiyuki, for judgment. The judge, jury, and executioner herself branded Xathi a heretic, to be beheaded immediately. The Rogue Xathi would have none of this. With a snip of the tongue and a flip of a coin, they turned the odds in their favor. The silver-tongued wastrel ployed The Great and The High Fixer to set The Rogue free. But, like the suns rays revealed after an epitaph of cloud and thunder, The Nobleman Ellion branded down from the sky, with burning righteousness and scorching justice. The Nobleman immediately smacked a symbol of distrust and unkinliness upon The Rogue with her mighty Hammer of Exile, and The Rogue Xathi was a hero no more. So ends the tale of Xathi, with not a word forgotten in the lost chronicles of The Rogue's misadventures, crusaded to a ashy crisp by the High Council. The Great Aerandir, The High Fixer Meiyuki, and The Nobleman Ellion lived on at the pinnacle of godliness for eternity, everlasting in their righteous sentience.
I'm getting the feeling that it could've been a bad idea of mine to join this and that all the work I put into my character's creation could be in vain. I'm stuck at almost the other end of the world with a phase shift of 120+ degrees. Given the fact that most of the posts of the last two pages of IC are collabs, what are my options:
Participate in collabs and probably annoy everyone on the long run because my 'ping' so to speak is about 8 hours (except perhaps for some rather tiny timeslots in the early morning or the late evening or during the weekends where I can jetlag my life on purpose)
Stick to conventional posting as far as possible. Whilst this would not impede progress in your collabs, I couldn't participate in much.
I had no idea that the timezone distribution would be so extreme in both its size and its effectiveness. Right now my frustration level feels like a space shuttle and I don't know what to do best. Does anybody have any ideas on what might be a possible solution or at least the best option to choose ?
@Fetzen If you don't mind me asking what is your timezone precisely? Perhaps you could fine some people who can meet your schedule and 'partner up' so to speak?
