Understandable. Talking to people like humans is ... human. While that's a sensitive subject, talking to a widow about her husband, it's not unprofessional, just delicate.
I didn't say it was a definite, I am in contact with one of Davids closest friends (The Set Designer for the show, Rob Gauld-Galliers, who is an absolutely brilliant man.). I did ask "Do you think she would be ok with talking about her husband for this." His reply was "I don't have her contact info, and I have not actually seen her since Davids funeral. But I do remember her being a jolly woman, I don't imagine she would bite your head off for asking, but i'm not sure she would say yes, either." I essentially took that as a "Best leave her alone." which I was actually going to post on the forum, just as I found out it was blocked... I had been tiptoing around the bastard for ages. I was on my best behavior, making sure not to say anything, because I knew he would ban me the first chance he got. I never imagined that this would be what he banned me for... I assumed I was going to slip up with my swearing at some point, and that's what would get me kicked.
As for the talking thing, he said it was unprofessional to post stuff like "I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND CHRIS TULLOCH!!! (One of the head writters, who directed several episodes and was the voice of the primary antagonist, Zorran)" Which, in my defense, the Fandom hasn't talked to him since 2002, so I was really excited that I was the first person to find him in 11 years (This was back in october.) And for saying that I had "Sent Rob Gauld Galliers a "I'm on my knee's, begging forgiveness." email" Because, due to a cock up with Skype, we weren't able to connect to each other for my interview with him... Then he cut contact... But we straightened it out and we're rescheduling for March.
Anyway, If you are interested in keeping up with it, check my Deviantart page, where I am now posting all my updates: http://mattmanganon.deviantart.com/ Currently, i am waiting to hear back from the man who now owns David Mitton's old tugboat.
