Nathanaël is a little on the short side for his age, only 5'5". Originally having light brown hair and green eyes, his appearance experienced various physical changes after being subjected to the experiments. His hair became a stark white, his eyes ice blue. Small fangs appeared where once were canines, and his ears were replaced by tall, fox-like ears atop his head. In addition, he has a bushy white tail where there once was none. He grew long claws on his hands and feet, that he constantly tries to trim. In addition, he gained extra vertebrae in his spine and wiry muscles, giving him superior flexibility and speed. His skin, already pale, now became incredibly resistant to the cold. Like true Arctic Foxes, he doesn't begin to shiver until -70˚ Celsius. His blue eyes also allow him to see well at night, and his powerful legs let him jump 10ft straight into the air.

Bio:
Nathanaël was born in Paris to a loving mother and somewhat absent father. His father was the CEO of a powerful company, with investments in wine, art, hotels, and automobiles. With money, power, and fame never in short supply, Nat lived a cushioned, if not sheltered life. With no worries for his future, he was allowed to pursue his own interests and hobbies in art and music, while keeping the stellar grades his father demanded. Dreaming of being an artist, he adored his mother and idolized her, desiring to become a famous artist, rather than his father's well-groomed heir.
However, there were problems at home that only became more apparent as time went on. When he was 13 his mother divorced his father, leaving Nat in his custody. His father only became more absent, leaving Nat in the hands of his tutors and managers, while restricting his mother's ability to visit. Eventually, she stopped coming altogether. Nat was pulled out of school and tutored strictly at home, and was not allowed to leave the mansion without approval or escort. Even his internet activity was monitored. Nat became completely isolated from the world.
The isolation and subsequent depression became more than he could handle. At 15, a few months before his 16th birthday, Nat slit his wrists in the bathtub, losing 30% of his blood. He was only saved after a maid heard the water running, and came to see what was wrong. After recovering from his injuries, Nat was evaluated and placed in a mental facility for treatment. His father was enraged at his son's attempt at suicide, and berated him, rather than offer empathy. Eager to escape at the next chance he had, he faked his father's signature to enter the experiments, under the impression that he would be helping to test a new anti-depressant hormone treatment. This, of course, was false. Rather, he gained the partial DNA of an arctic fox, intended to increase human resistance to cold temperatures.
In addition to his physical traits, Nat began to experience strange dreams and visions, hearing and seeing things that aren't there. In particular was his ability to sense and manipulate magnetic fields, sensing prey moving from unseen places. His new urges to hunt are particularly strong, and he has recently developed new tastes for meat, and an intense hatred of vegetables. He hasn't met his father since the experiment, though he doubts he doesn't know. Not only is his body changed and filled with new and conflicting instincts, but he has to deal with it completely on his own.
Personality:
A quiet, kind, thoughtful person, Nathanaël thankfully inherited his mother's softness over his father's cold cruelty. Soft-spoken, intelligent, and observant, Nat isn't a natural loner. He longingly seeks companionship, even if it's from less than savory characters. His attempt at ending his life and subsequent stay in the hospital is something that embarrasses him greatly, and he hides his scars and his past. He's very shy and patient, slow to anger, though he won't stand for injustice when he sees it. He's not the best at dealing with people, particularly after being isolated.
He was less than thrilled at his body's changes, and finds it difficult to adapt and accept his new animal side. He clips his claws regularly, despite the fact that they grow back almost 3 times a week, and tries to hide his ears and tails under baggy clothes and hats. His native tongue is French, though he can speak English, German, and Chinese. Thanks, dad. He remains under the perpetual hope that a cure can be discovered for his condition, so that he can return to being fully human once again.
Other:
If you ask him what does the fox say, he will not hesitate to hit you. Also constantly battles the instinctual desire to eat every animal smaller than a cat that he sees. Has an unexplainable hatred for hounds, and is startled by loud noises.
