Not sure if anyone has made official undead unless ashlings count. To conjecture, we have those soul bits that could be caught before they reach the wraithstone. You could stick them in a new body and raise it as a zaumbeh. Of course, this stuff would give you a guaranteed disapproval from our friend, the icy-death-genocide man.

Edit: Legion02 gave a better answer.

@Hael Yes. Right now about 1/100 return due to a curse Vestec cast to annoy Reathos even more. The undead right now act pretty much like they did alive. Well, maybe with some emotional problems due to well dying. I believe @Rtron did mention that angel would turn intolike vampire lords (leathery wings I'm guessing). How it functions is simple: the souls don't leave the bodies. Thus the dead rise again.

However, I am planning on making Reathos cast an extra curse of the undead, making them mad with a hunger to kill (in case of humans, Hain and most Rovaick) or a thirst for blood or human meat (vampire and the undead Azibos).

That aside, soon Reathos will also raise his own undead to help out the Pronobii currently fighting a losing battle against Vestec's horde. These will be simple animated bodies, without a soul.

Ahhh.

Undead are usually depicted as being mindless, dumb beings. Maybe Vulamera will do that to them as a middle finger to Vestec (not that he would care)

EXCEPT for undead Insidie, which will be able to keep their intelligence and mental prowess after death, thus allowing the "smarter" undead creatures, like Vampires or such.

Just got back from few-day camping trip that forced me to rush to close the Diaphane/Murmur collab. Still a little tired, classes starting up again soon, y'all know the deal.

Priority list, since that's all I have energy for.

-Rush post cobbling together a still-not-unveiled construct that will more than likely not have any form of relevance to anything ever
-Spend a while furthering Violet's arc now that Vestec's avatar is leading the horde/the horde has been attacked by Urtelem/Gerrik, Majus and Minus are going to start being a problem
-Escalate the Djinni-Jvanic conflict further, ideally in a way that will be relevant to Tira and Dancer

Ed: Jvan, Heartworm, Violet, Tira and Dancer, an unnamed character, four optic fiberlings and a dead change-eater. Fuck I have way too many characters.

@Hael, I can imagine Vulamera and Astarte doing a back and forth kinda thing with that. Vula makes them dumb and Astarte makes them smart again. Vula makes them dumb again, and Astarte makes them even dumber so Vulamera has to make them smart, else her mind bleed due to their stupidity.

I would pay to see that.

But I feel like Vulamera would win this encounter. Afterall, she's the Goddess of Intelligence, so she could take away their intelligence without any might spent. Astarte, on the other hand, would have to spend at least 1 MP to make them smart again. So, in the end, I could just keep making them dumb without using any MP, but you would have to drain all of Astarte's power to keep up.

x'D It would be like if Vulamera tried to have a magic competition with Astarte. It would be fun to watch, but we already know who's gonna win.

Dumb or smart, Reathos' curse will make sure they go feral or made, depending on intelligence. So either way, all undead are pretty much screwed over. You didn't really think the god of death would not make a plan for them did you? XD

It's not like that curse can't be reversed by another God, bruh xD

Maybe... but Reathos is the God of Death, so I feel like none of us would ever truly be able to reverse anything he did to undead (those fall under his domain, I believe)- not without a ton of might, anyway.

But I suppose that Vulamera or Vestec might come closest to curing them of being "feral" (since that sort of thing is their deal), if either wanted to. Even so, though, Reathos would probably win out in the end, and our undead would stay cursed. It's just a matter of who's domain "undeath" falls under, and I think it is most likely Reathos'.

Practice, probably.

As for reading all of it... well, you can always skim over most of it by reading just the "summary" sections, then go back and actually read the key points.

Wait... what?

At the start or end of every post over 5000 characters, we put a "Summary" in a hider. Just click the hider and you'll see a summary of the post.

Example:

Go look at our IC posts. Ever post with over 5000 characters had a hider like that. So if it feels like too much to read, you can just read the summaries first.

Ah, it's alright. We only put them on posts exceeding 5000 characters. Short posts will have to be read manually

@Legion02@Hael@Frettzo

So. The plan is to make them massively feral so that they attack and kill whoever is near, making more if them by sheer results of murder.

OR

Make them dumb except for a few.

Neither of which the poor Undead deserved, nor will affect Vestec in the slightest, except to fix it to annoy whoever did it.

EDIT: Accidental post. Ignore this.

EDIT 2: There's always that one person who's going to respond to a "Ignore this" post with "No ", like they're being clever or something. Maybe this will ward them away.

Vestec is always begging for a can of whoop-ass. Don't you get it? It doesn't matter if someone is angry with him or even beating the hell out of him, he just wants drama. It's his entertainment.
