I'm sure. Should we just continue on our way and write things out with the knowledge we have? I think we need to know a little bit more about what's happened in the village.

Should you make a post detailing what they find, or maybe just tell us so we can include it? Dunno how you want to go about this.

I was actually thinking a later hatch for her dragon. Make some drama about her maybe not being a Dragon Rider.

@Gisk

- Mashal:

Because a Rider sword was found on the man, an agent of the Empire's new order (which is in it's infant stages and is a construct of my own built to even the field and thus is unknown to players and characters alike) has been sent to the nearby town to sniff out what happened to the wielder. Because no one knows anything about the sword, the agent has become threatening and is using certain abilities of hers to... do something. :P

Three villagers are dead (nobodies, not anyone related to the characters), and their bodies are being burnt. The village is scared and outraged, and everyone has sealed themselves in their homes for the day, making it apper like a ghost town except for the charred remains in the center of the village. If the characters come back to town, expect them to see this.

This was what I posted about the village earlier, but this is all we really need to know. Not many people are out after the incident, holding up in their homes while they wait for the the dust (or smoke in this case) to settle. I imagine you'll be heading straight home and checking on your families/collecting supplies from them. I didn't think too clearly about this apparently, but it may be safe to say most villagers in Mashal are self sufficient with a garden if not a farm, so that settles food, and clothes/coin you'd get from your fam anyway.

Is there anything major I've missed?

@ViolentViolet That's fine.

Yeah, what did she actually do? And what do the villagers think/how would the describe what she did? And are the villagers burning the bodies, or did she light them on fire? I think probably the latter, good ole brisingr, I imagine.

Hey! Guys I just had an awesome idea. Since I don't plan on having any eggs hatch for Zyloria as of yet, I was thinking that maybe, since her father loved an elf and all, her and her father would go with them, more like tutors than actual riders. Kinda like Brom, but without the whole "I'm your father" kind of thing.

@ViolentViolet That... works. Hmm. We'd still need to stop and get the person I planed on being the teacher anyway, because they're important to the plot beyond teaching. They wouldn't have enjoyed being a teacher anyway.

Well, her father wouldn't be much for magic. He doesn't actually know any. But he knows a great deal about Dragon Riders, Elves and the Ancient Language. So that bit, yeah he wouldn't be much help for actually teaching them magic. He's just a knight man.

@ViolentViolet Well, that works better then. The person I have in mind will teach them the AL, he'll teach them other stuff like swords and the like.

@ViolentViolet Your character is gonna be way behind on magic and stuff though because we'll have practice with it sooner.

EDIT: Also sorry for my maybe not so good post, I'm in a bleh mood but I needed to add something. :p

@BurningCold She is half elven, and all elves have magic. Riders are just stronger cause they can call on their dragons magic too, but our dragons are currently tiny.

And your post is fine, though Z and Gale may be displeased with the threat.

That sounds great. I'll see what I can do about getting a sheet for him and my dragon up tonight.

Actually, all elves are in possession of magic; hence their ability to even create the Riders Pact. So as a Half-Elf, Zy would be able to use magic on the same level as them, if not with a more natural feel for it. She'll learn of fighting, magic and caring for the Dragons just as much as everybody else. Until her own Dragon hatches.
